Abstract

一种充电装置,能对便携式电话在相同的时间内进行充电而不管电话内装电源在“开”或“关”的状态。当测知电话已接入充电装置,确定电话内装电源处在“开”或“关”状态,进入电话的充电电流依赖于电话电源的“开/关”状态而变化。

Description

便携式电话的充电装置
本发明涉及便携式电话的充电装置,特别是涉及一种充电装置,可以不管电话内电源在开或关的状态都在相同的时间内对便携式电话充电。
在当前被广泛使用的便携式电话是由电池或类似的电源供电的。当电源耗尽时,电话就被接到充电装置由其充电。充电装置通常有一电话检测部分用于检测电话是否已接到装置上;还有一充电电流源用于给电话的电源供给充电电流;以及有一开关用于将充电电流源接到电话电源上去。当电话被接到充电装置时,该装置用电话检测部分检测这种联接并使开关动作以将充电电流从充电电流源向电话电源馈送。常规的充电装置通常的做法是不管电话电源的开/关状态如何都保持充电电流恒定。然而,这引起如下问题:假定电话电源在“关”的状态需T1时间充满,而在“开”的状态需T2时间。那么,当电话电源在“开”的状态实际上充入电源的电流要小于由充电电流源馈送来的充电电流,因为一部分充电电流被用作电话的工作电流消耗掉了。结果时间T2要比时间T1长,即在“开”的状态充电时间要远大于在“关”的状态的充电时间。这使得在“开”状态时对电话电源充电是不实用的。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种充电装置,它不管电话内电源在“开”或“关”状态都能以相同的时间来对便携式电话充电。
本发明的对便携式电话内装电源进行充电的充电装置包括一机座,便携式电话可接到其上;一个充电电流源,用于向便携式电话的电源馈送电流;一个电话检测部分,用于确定便携式电话是否被接在机座上;一个开/关状态传感部分,用于决定便携式电话的电源之“开/关”状态;及一个电流控制部分,用于随“开/关”状态传感部分测知的便携式电话的电源的“开/关”状态而控制来自充电电流源的充电电流。
本发明的上述和其它目的、特点和优点由参照以下附图的详细描写而变得更清楚:
图1是表示用于便携式电话的常规充电装置的方块图;
图2是常规充电装置对于“开”状态和“关”状态充电电流和充电时间之间的关系;
图3是实施本发明的充电装置的方块图;
图4是类似图2的曲线,表示实施例的充电电流和充电时间之间的关系;
图5是表示实施例更详细的电路图。
为了更好地理解本发明,简单参阅一下示于图1的用于便携式电话的常规充电装置。如所示,便携式电话10装有电池或类似的电源10a并可被可脱开地接到充电装置20上。充电装置20有电话检测部分22,用于测知电话10已被接到充电装置20;有开关24,由检测部分22的输出结果来操作;和充电电流源26。当测知电话10已被接上,检测部分22使开关24闭合,充电电流源26接到电话10的电源10a上。常规充电装置20从它的电流源26馈送恒定充电电流到电话10,而不管电话电源10a的“开”或“关”状态如何。
如图2所示,假定充电电流和时间分别为I和T。当电话电源10a断开,即在充电时它处于“关”状态,它用时间T1可充满。然而,当电话电源10a在“开”状态,部分充电电流消耗于作为电话10的工作电流,即电源10a以比实际上由充电单元20馈给的电流要小的电流被充电。结果,电源10a要被充满需要时间T2(T2>T1)。例如,假定在I1是40毫安时T1是10小时,电话在等待状态时要耗用电流I0 30毫安,电源10a在“开”状态时充电电流为I2,那么有以下等式:
I2=I1-10=40-30=10  (毫安)充电时间T2表示为:
T2=T1×I1/I2=40   (小时)
这个时间T2是T1的4倍长,因而是不实用的。
以下参看图3-5说明实施本发明的没有前述问题的一个充电装置。在图3-5中,以相同的标号表示与图1和图2中所示组成部分相同或相似的部分,并且为了简化,也不做重复的说明。
如图3所示,标作20A的充电装置除了具有图1的常规充电装置20的构成成分外,还具有“开/关”状态传感部分28和电流控制部分30。传感部分28确定电话10的电源10a是否在“开”的状态。电流控制部分30接在“开/关”传感部分28和充电电流源26之间。电流控制部分30随“开/关”传感部分28的输出而改变充电电流源26的充电电流。
图4示出了是充电所必需的电量的充电电流1和充电时间T的乘积。假设I1=40毫安,T1=10小时,T2=40小时,那么I1(T2-T1)=1.2安-时是在充电期间耗用于电话10的电量。
如图4所示,当电话电源10a在“关”的状态时,从充电装置20A馈到电话10的充电电流是I1。在所给的实施例中,当电源10a在“开”的状态,馈给电话10的充电电流是I2(I2>I1)以补偿在充电期间被耗用的电量I1(T2-T1)。在I2选160毫安时满足等式I1(T2-T1)=(I2-I1)T1,如图4所示,不管电源10a的“开/关”状态都可在相同的时间内将电话10充满。
图5更详尽地示出充电装置20A和电话电源10a。如图所示,当构成电话检测部分22的三极管TR6由信号BATT所导通时,它指示作为电源10a的电池Ba被接到充电装置20A上。然后,构成开关24的三极管TR2被导通面将充电电流源26接到电源10a上。同时,电话10发出信号PSON给构成“开/关”状态传感部分28的三极管TR5以指示电源10a是否在“开”状态,因为三极管TR5的输出被耦合到作为电流控制部分30的三极管TR4,控制部分30控制经端子V的充电电流I使在电源10为“开”状态的充电电流要大于在“关”状态的充电电流。
总起来看,可知本发明提供一种充电装置,能在同一时间内对便携式电话充电而不管其内装的电源处在“开”或“关”的状态。
根据本发明公开的内容对本领域的技术人员来说作出不超出其范围的各种修正是可能的。

Claims (1)

1.一种对便携式电话内装电源充电的充电装置,其特征在于包括:
便携式电话可以连接上去的机座;
用于输出充电电流的充电电流源;
电话检测装置,用于确定便携式电话是否接到所述机座上;
供电装置,与所述电话检测装置连接,用于当所述电话检测装置检测到所述便携式电话接上时将所述充电电流从所述充电电流源输往所述便携式电话的电源;
开/关状态传感装置,用于确定所述便携式电话的电源的开/关状态;以及
电流控制装置,连在所述开/关状态传感装置与所述充电电流源之间,用于根据由所述开/关状态传感装置感测的所述便携式电话的电源的开/关状态来控制所述充电电流源,使充电电流在所述便携式电话的电源处于“开”状态时较其处于“关”状态时要大。
