随着生活水平的提高,羊肉作为常见的肉制品进入人们餐桌。羊肉营养丰富,性温,冬季常吃羊肉不仅可以增加人体热量,抵御寒冷,而且还能增加帮助脾胃消化,起到抗衰老的作用;羊肉对一些虚寒病症有很大裨益,羊肉还具有补肾壮阳、补虚温中等作用。
随着人们对饮食要求的提高,对羊肉的口味要求亦越来越高,传统的羊肉制品已满足不了人们对美食、品味和营养的需求。目前,市场上推出的羊肉制品仍沿用传统的制作方式,操作比较复杂,随意性大、口味较不稳定,营养上也很难满足人们的需求。

一种羊头保健食品的制作方法,取新鲜的羊头8-10个,手工剥皮后将羊头剖开,去除羊脑和羊牙,用水清洗干净;然后将羊头放入高压锅内中,加入水和调料,用中火炖40-50分钟即可。
所述加水时的水量是羊头重量的6-8倍。
所述羊头为8-10个,所述调料包括桂皮25-30克、香叶10片、白芷3片、丁香5克、豆蔻10克、草果5克,还包括常规量的大葱、大蒜、生姜、八角、小茴香、花椒和盐。
所述羊头为5-7个月的羔羊。
