针对0至6个月、6个月至1岁、1岁至2岁的不同年龄段的婴儿配方奶粉、后续配方奶粉和成长牛奶是已知的。这些婴儿配方奶粉、后续配方奶粉和成长牛奶的目标是满足婴儿/幼儿在不同年龄段的要求并为婴儿/幼儿提供均衡的营养。

本发明涉及包含至少两种组合物的一组营养组合物。构成该组营养组合物的一部分的组合物对婴儿/幼儿具有有益的作用。
优选该营养组合物为婴儿配方奶粉或后续配方奶粉。
在本发明中,营养组合物为可以用水重构的粉末形式。营养组合物可以为待稀释的浓缩物形式。当该营养组合物重构或稀释时,最终产品优选为液体。
所述该组营养组合物的有益作用不仅仅是提供了平衡营养。该有益作用可以是下列任何一种:预防或治疗腹泻;预防或治疗肠道不适;减轻腹泻所导致的不适;降低以后生活中肥胖的风险(包括与肥胖相关的疾病,例如高血压和糖尿病);降低以后生活中过敏的风险;降低以后生活中心血管疾病的发生;降低感染的风险,确保免疫系统良好成熟,确保肠道屏障的良好成熟,确保最佳的认知能力的发展。对于良好成熟而言,应当理解的是所述成熟符合采用在母乳喂养的婴儿/幼儿中所观察到的成长趋势(growth curve)。
应当选择能够在预期有益作用方面彼此互补的组合物构成营养组合物的一部分。通过这种方式,可以获得更具体、更有效的结果。这意味着通过喂食该组营养组合物可以获得全面的预期益处。该组营养组合物单独使用时并不具有在该组营养组合物中一起使用时所产生的相同作用。因此,这些组合物能够以协同的方式起作用,期望的作用被增强并且大于各个组合物单一作用的总和。
采用的组合物通常包括脂肪源、蛋白源和碳水化合物源。

使用的组合物可以包括乳脂肪球膜有关的蛋白质(MFGM)。
另外,组合物可以包括选自下列的成分:维生素、矿物质、微量元素、核苷、核苷酸、益生元和益生菌。
所述维生素可以是维生素A、β-胡萝卜素、维生素D、维生素E、维生素K1、维生素C、维生素B1、维生素B2、烟酸、维生素B6、叶酸、泛酸、维生素B12、生物素、胆碱、肌醇或其任何混合物。

在所述该组营养组合物中,各个组合物在至少一种成分的性质和/或量方面彼此不同。
该组营养组合物的一种组合物中的不同于另一种组合物的成分可以是下列任何成分:维生素、矿物质、核苷、核苷酸、益生元、益生菌、蛋白质、脂肪酸、脂肪源、蛋白源和碳水化合物源。
益生元是不可消化的食物成分,通过选择性地刺激结肠中一种或少数细菌的生长和/或活性而有益地影响宿主,从而改善宿主健康。此类成分为不可消化的,这是指它们在胃或小肠中无法分解和吸收,因此它们可以完整地到达结肠,在结肠中被有益的细菌选择性发酵。益生元的示例包括某些低聚糖,如低聚果糖(FOS)、阿拉伯胶和低聚半乳糖(GOS)。可以使用的益生元的组合包括例如90%的GOS与10%的短链低聚果糖的组合(如商标为的市售产品)或者与10%的菊糖的组合(如商标为的市售产品)。

采用的益生菌微生物可以是活的或者是死亡的益生菌微生物。
益生菌存在的量优选为103-1012cfu/g组合物或/mL组合物,更优选为106-1011cfu/g或/mL组合物,甚至更优选为104-109cfu/g或/mL组合物,最优选为107-109cfu/g或/mL组合物。该量在一组组合物的一个组合物中与另一个组合物中可能有所不同。例如,已经发现,通过提供含有乳酸双歧杆菌CNCM1-3446的第一种组合物和含有罗伊氏乳杆菌DSM17938的第二种组合物,所述益生菌的作用得到延长并增强,该作用是添加单一乳酸菌所无法比拟的。
组合物中可以任选含有其它具有有益作用的物质,例如核苷酸、核苷等。核苷酸可以选自单磷酸胞苷(CMP)、单磷酸尿苷(UMP)、单磷酸腺苷(AMP)、单磷酸鸟苷(GMP)或其任何混合物。
任何营养组合物均可以含有脂肪酸,例如中链甘油三酯和/或长链多不饱和脂肪酸(LC-PUFA)。脂肪酸对婴儿/幼儿的成长有益。优选LC-PUFA选自二十二碳六烯酸(DHA)、花生四烯酸(ARA)、十二碳五烯酸(EPA)或其任何混合物。在本发明的一个实施方案中,一组营养组合物可以包括含有作为脂肪酸的二十二碳六烯酸(DHA)和花生四烯酸(ARA)的混合物的第一种组合物,而第二种组合物只含有二十二碳六烯酸(DHA)。当第一种组合物喂食12-24个月并随后喂食第二种组合物至少6个月时,在婴儿/幼儿的脑发育中观察到长期的益处。
有益作用可以是本文中所述的任何作用,它超出了均衡营养所提供的作用。
例如,该组组合物预期可以缓解腹泻导致的不适。因此,第一种组合物可以包含能够有助于治疗腹泻的成分。它可以是益生菌,例如鼠李糖乳杆菌CGMCC1.3724。第二种组合物可以包含能够治疗腹泻后不适的其它成分。它可以是罗伊氏乳杆菌DSM17938。因此,这些组合物在预期的缓解腹泻导致的不适的有益作用方面能够彼此互补。
另一个示例,本发明的一组营养组合物可以用于帮助断奶。因此,第一种组合物可以含有乳酸双歧杆菌CNCM1-3446,而第二种组合物可以含有副干酪乳杆菌33(Uni President)。这两种组合物的组合对婴儿/幼儿具有全面的有益作用,有助于顺利地断奶。发现的标志是,喂食本发明一组营养组合物与喂食传统婴儿配方奶粉相比,断奶开始时啼哭的次数较少。
另外,一种组合物中脂肪酸的种类与另一种组合物中脂肪酸种类有所不同。例如,一种组合物可以含有适当比例的DHA和ARA,而另一种组合物可能只含有DHA。当组合使用时,这些组合物能够提供健康益处,例如脑功能和视功能的健康发育以及免疫系统的健康发育。
该组营养组合物可以包含相同的成分,但是至少一种成分的量不同。例如,一种组合物的脂肪含量与另一种不同。因此,本发明的一组营养组合物包含5.0-6g脂肪/100kcal的第一种组合物和3-5g脂肪/100kcal的第二种组合物。当将各个组合物喂食给6个月至1岁的幼儿,特别是分别为1-2岁和2岁以上的幼儿,观察到的益处是,与喂食传统组合物的婴儿相比,以后生活中肥胖的风险以及超重的趋势有所降低。
构成本发明一组营养组合物的一部分的组合物可以喂食给婴儿/幼儿1天至12个月的时间。这段时间取决于预期的有益作用。例如,如果希望缓解腹泻导致的不适,一组营养组合物中的组合物可以各自喂食1-5天。在另一个示例中,如果希望的有益作用是长期的,该喂食时间可以是1-12个月,优选约6个月。
本发明一组营养组合物的特征是组合物中存在的成分能够起到协同作用以达到特定的益处。
的确,已经发现,通过喂食婴儿含有乳酸双歧杆菌(B.lactis)的营养组合物,随后喂食同一所述婴儿与前一组合物的不同仅在于还含有罗伊氏乳杆菌(L.reuteri)的营养组合物,可以获得有益的作用。与仅喂食所述组合物中的一种的婴儿相比,有益作用得到增强。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,一组营养组合物包括两种组合物。在另一个实施方案中,一组营养组合物包括三种组合物。在另一个实施方案中,一组营养组合物包括四种组合物。
该组营养组合物中的组合物预期可以用于特定年龄组。例如,组合物可以用于0-6个月的婴儿、6个月至1岁的婴儿、1-2岁的婴儿或者2岁以上的幼儿。
在本发明一组营养组合物中,组合物可以用于相同年龄组,或者,它们可以用于两个或多个相联的年龄组。
本文中所述该组营养组合物可以根据本发明用于:预防或治疗腹泻;预防或治疗肠道不适;缓解腹泻导致的不适;降低以后生活中肥胖的风险以及相关的疾病,如高血压、糖尿病;降低以后生活中过敏的风险;减少以后生活中心血管疾病的发生;降低感染的风险,确保正常的成长趋势、确保良好的免疫系统成熟、确保良好的肠道屏障的成熟,确保最佳的认知能力的发展。
本发明还涉及婴儿/幼儿的营养套盒。该营养套盒包括上述该组营养组合物。该营养组合物中每一种均可以以单剂量单位包装。每个单剂量单位包含当用水重构时足以制备单次施予的营养成分。
单次施予通常为8-35g(优选10-30g,最优选11-28g)的粉末,可以采用80-300mL的水重构。优选90mL-250mL的水。或者,如果营养组合物为浓缩物时,单次施予可以为1-50mL的浓缩物,用50-250mL的水稀释。
该套盒包括本文中所述的该组营养组合物。单次剂量单位可以是胶囊的形式。单次剂量单位也可以是条状包装形式或小袋形式。胶囊可以是配备开口工具的一次性胶囊,它能够使得配方奶粉自胶囊直接导入接受容器(例如瓶)中。这种采用胶囊配制婴儿或幼儿营养组合物的方法描述于国际专利申请公开No.WO2006/077259。因此,构成该组营养组合物一部分的营养组合物可以包装为单个胶囊,以多包装的形式提供给消费者。该多包装可以例如含有足够数量的胶囊以满足婴儿一周的需要。适当的胶囊构造公开于国际专利申请公开No.WO2003/059778。
本发明也涉及生产对婴儿/幼儿具有有益作用的一组营养组合物的方法。
该方法的第一步主要在于制备至少两种婴儿/幼儿用营养组合物。
该营养组合物可以采用适当的方法制备。例如,婴儿/幼儿组合物可以通过将蛋白源、碳水化合物源和脂肪源以适当的比例混合形成混合物而制备。该混合物中可以包含乳化剂。此时可以加入维生素和矿物质,但是它们通常稍后再加入以避免热降解。任何亲脂性的维生素、乳化剂等可以在混合前溶解到脂肪源中。然后可以将水混合进来形成液体混合物,优选经过反渗透处理过的水。
然后,可以将液体混合物进行热处理以减少细菌载量。例如,可以将液体混合物快速加热至约80℃至约110℃的范围内约5秒至约5分钟。这可以通过蒸汽注入或通过热交换器(例如板式热交换器)实现。然后,可以将液体混合物冷却至约60℃至约85℃,例如通过瞬时冷却。然后,在例如两个阶段将液体混合物均化,第一阶段在约7MPa至约40MPa,第二阶段在约2MPa至约14MPa。然后将均质化的混合物进一步冷却,以加入任何热敏感成分,如维生素和矿物质。此时,将均质化的混合物的pH和固体含量适宜地标准化。将均质化的混合物转移至合适的干燥设备(例如喷雾干燥器或冷冻干燥器)中并转化成粉末。该粉末的水分含量应当低于约3%(重量比)。或者,将均质化混合物浓缩。
该方法的第二步骤主要在于选择至少一种预期具有有益作用的成分。
可以理解的是,所述至少一种成分本身并不是仅仅用于产生预期的有益作用。事实上,本发明有赖于能够提供互补性的至少两种组合物以实现上述有益作用。因此,根据其能够以互补的方式提供预期的有益作用的性能选择该成分。
该方法还包括使得至少一种成分与至少一种所述营养组合物组合的步骤,从而组合物能够彼此互补以获得预期的有益作用。
所述成分可以通过干法混合以添加到粉末婴儿配方奶粉中。或者,所述成分可以在制备营养组合物期间的较早阶段加入。技术人员能够确定何时将选择的成分掺入营养组合物中。
婴儿/幼儿的施予方案也是本发明的一部分。施予方案对婴儿/幼儿有益。施予方案包括将一组的至少两种营养组合物喂食给婴儿/幼儿的步骤。如上所述,营养组合物彼此互补从而对所述婴儿/幼儿提供有益作用。
在一次喂食期间可以喂食两种组合物。或者,给婴儿/幼儿喂食一种组合物1天至12个月的时间,再喂食给婴儿/幼儿另一种组合物1天至12个月的时间。
营养组合物可以作为单一营养源喂食,或者可以作为日常饮食的一部分喂食,例如对于断奶的婴儿/幼儿而言。优选喂食给婴儿/幼儿的组合物应当占婴儿/幼儿/儿童食物的一半以上。

7.前述权利要求中任一项的一组营养组合物,其中所述有益作用为下列任何一种:预防或治疗腹泻;预防或治疗肠道不适;缓解腹泻导致的不适;降低以后生活中肥胖的风险以及与之相关的高血压、糖尿病;降低以后生活中过敏的风险;减少以后生活中心血管疾病的发生;降低感染的风险,确保正常的成长趋势、确保良好的免疫系统成熟、确保良好的肠道屏障的成熟,确保良好的认知功能的成熟。
8.前述权利要求中任一项的一组营养组合物,其中第一种组合物预期治疗腹泻,第二种组合物预期治疗腹泻后的肠道不适。
9.前述权利要求中任一项的一组营养组合物,其中第一种组合物预期缓解与抗生素给药有关的肠道不适或疼痛,第二种组合物预期恢复抗生素给药后正常的肠道菌群。
10.前述权利要求中任一项的一组营养组合物,其中第一种组合物预期改善睡眠类型,第二种组合物预期诱导婴儿产生主动学习能力。
11.前述权利要求中任一项的一组营养组合物在下列方面的用途:预防或治疗腹泻;预防或治疗肠道不适;缓解腹泻导致的不适;降低以后生活中肥胖的风险;降低以后生活中过敏的风险;减少以后生活中心血管疾病的发生;降低感染的风险,确保正常的成长趋势、确保良好的免疫系统成熟、减少过敏、减少感染、改善睡眠类型、减少啼哭时间、减少肠道不适、改善学习能力、刺激认知能力或其组合。
12.婴儿/幼儿营养套盒,该套盒包括权利要求1-10中任一项的一组营养组合物,其中所述营养组合物以单剂量单位包装,每个单剂量单位包含制备足以单次施予的营养组合物。
13.权利要求12的婴儿/幼儿营养套盒,其中所述单剂量单位为胶囊。
14.生产对婴儿/幼儿具有有益作用的一组营养组合物的方法,该方法包括下列步骤:
-制备至少两种婴儿/幼儿营养组合物;
-选择至少一种目的在于有益作用的成分;和
-将所述至少一种成分与至少一种所述营养组合物组合从而使得组合物在预期的有益作用方面彼此互补。
15.权利要求14的方法,其中目的在于有益作用的所述成分选自维生素、矿物质、核苷、核苷酸、益生元、益生菌、脂肪酸、脂肪、碳水化合物、蛋白质、生长因子、免疫球蛋白、MFGM成分、低聚糖、溶菌酶。
16.权利要求14或15的方法,其中所述有益作用为下列任何一种:预防或治疗腹泻;预防或治疗肠道不适;缓解腹泻导致的不适;降低以后生活中肥胖的风险;降低以后生活中过敏的风险;减少以后生活中心血管疾病的发生;降低感染的风险,确保正常的成长趋势、确保良好的免疫系统成熟、减少过敏、减少感染、改善睡眠类型、减少啼哭时间、减少肠道不适、改善学习能力、刺激认知能力或其组合。
17.婴儿/幼儿的施予方案,该方案包括喂食权利要求1-10中任一项的一组至少两种营养组合物的步骤。
18.权利要求17的方案,其中第一种营养组合物喂食给所述婴儿/幼儿的时间为1天至12个月,随后喂食第二种营养组合物的时间为1天至12个月。
19.权利要求17或18的方案,其中喂食给婴儿/幼儿的两种营养组合物占婴幼儿/儿童膳食的一半以上。
