技术领域
本发明涉及一种生产可灌装食品的密封包装的包装机器。
背景技术
众所周知,许多可灌装食品,例如果汁、UHT(超高温处理)牛奶、酒、番茄酱等都是在由杀菌片状包装材料制成的包装中销售的。
用于液体或可灌装食品的平行六面体形包装的典型示例称为Tetra Brik Aseptic(注册商标),其通过折叠并密封卷带包装材料制成。所述包装材料具有多层结构,包括例如纸制的基层,在基层的两侧覆盖有热密封塑性材料层,例如聚乙烯层。在用于长期储存的产品(例如UHT牛奶)的无菌包装的情况下,包装材料还包括阻氧材料层,例如铝箔,其叠置在热密封塑性材料层上,并继而被形成最终接触食品的包装内表面的另一热密封塑性材料层覆盖。
这种包装通常在全自动包装机器上生产,在该全自动包装机器上由幅带供给包装材料形成连续的管;例如通过应用化学杀菌剂比如双氧水溶液在包装机器上对包装材料幅带进行杀菌,一旦完成杀菌,就例如通过加热蒸发而将杀菌剂从包装材料的表面去除;然后将这样杀菌后的幅带保持在密闭无菌环境中,并且纵向地折叠和密封来形成竖直供给的管。
为了完成成形操作,对所述管填充杀菌或消毒处理过的食品,并且沿着等间隔剖面密封以及随后切割;从而获得枕状包装,然后机械地折叠该枕状包装来形成相应的最终包装。
上述类型的包装机器是已知的,其中所述管的部分由通过相应臂移动的两个钳口单元密封,以便于在连续的部分处交替地夹紧所述管用于密封。每个钳口单元的一个钳口包括感应加热元件,用于当钳口单元夹紧到所述管上时局部地熔化热塑性材料,并且以便焊接热塑性盖来密封所述管的剖面。
每个钳口单元执行相对复杂的操作循环,其中各钳口在包装机器的上部操作台处变成与所述管接触;牢固地夹紧所述管的单元与所述管一起沿着所述管的供给轴线下降来密封所述剖面,并且然后在包装机器的下部操作台处打开。以与机器的生产率相对应的时间间隔偏置的相同循环也由第二单元执行,以便由所述管的在通过一个钳口单元形成的第一密封件与通过另一个钳口单元连续形成的第二密封件之间延伸的一部分形成每个包装。
虽然广泛地使用并且是可靠的,但是考虑到所包含的大质量块(臂、钳口以及各致动器)的循环性往返移动,上述类型的已知机器在生产率方面是有限的,大质量块的惯性将生产率限制为几千个循环/每小时,在这个值之上会遇到动力问题,例如损害机器的运转。
为了增加生产率,已经提出了连续的包装机器,其包括限定各环形路径并且分别装配有多个钳口和相对钳口的两个链条输送器。该两个路径包括大致互相朝向和平行的各分支,并且在它们之间供给包装材料的管;一个输送器上的具有相应加热元件的钳口沿着相应路径的所述分支与另一个输送器上的具有相应压力元件的对应相对钳口配合,以在多个连续剖面处将所述管夹紧于相应加热元件,并且以便密封所述包装。
在某种程度上,提供连续的链条输送器系统来消除动力问题,并且因此增加由往返系统带来的最大生产率。
虽然据申请人所知已经实验了一段时间,但是迄今为止这种机器没能找到令人满意的实践应用。
上述类型的机器引起的其中一个问题是难以精确地且可靠地控制由钳口和相对钳口施加在包装材料上以形成密封的接触压力,并且所述接触压力是由固定到机器结构的控制凸轮与沿着相应凸轮行进的各凸轮从动构件之间的接触而产生的,并且与各钳口及相对钳口相关联。由于接触压力很大程度上取决于制造和组装公差、凸轮和相应凸轮从动构件的磨损以及运转温度,所以在装备机器和维持最优运转条件方面遇到相当大的困难。
控制密封压力对于实现确保对包装没有损坏的可靠生产过程是重要的,并且因此保持内容物的无菌特性。
在EP0887270中提出了上述问题的解决方案,其中每个相对钳口基本上包括主体、装配到所述主体并且能够沿着夹紧压力的方向相对于所述主体移动的压力元件、以及插设在所述主体与所述压力元件之间并且限定夹紧压力的弹性部件,所述主体继而具有相应的凸轮从动构件并且形成相对链条输送器的链节。
特别地,所述压力元件是细长杆的形式,沿着与管供应路径垂直的方向延伸并且由具有上述弹性部件的一对弹性连接组件连接到所述主体。
每个连接组件包括连接轴,其具有装配到所述主体以及所述压力元件的相对端部,并且分别通过插设第一和第二弹性元件而沿着与夹紧压力的方向平行的轴线延伸跨过相对穿过所述主体的基座和所述压力元件。
更具体地,连接轴的一个端部由通过多个螺钉固定到所述主体的与朝向所述压力元件的一侧相对的一侧的凸缘限定,而另一个端部共轴地固定到具有与所述压力元件的基座的表面边缘轴向配合的周缘的止动垫圈。
第一弹性元件是沿着夹紧压力的方向被压缩在连接轴的凸缘端部与杯形元件之间的不锈钢螺旋弹簧,所述杯形元件能够在主体的基座内部轴向且松弛地滑动并且轴向且径向地连接到压力元件。
第二弹性元件是弹性体衬套,其轴向地压紧在连接轴的肩部与止动垫圈之间并且径向地夹在连接轴与压力元件的界定相对基座的部分之间。这样,第二弹性元件能够轴向且径向地变形,从而与第一弹性元件一起限定夹紧压力并且允许补偿主要部分与压力元件之间的任何偏差。
在使用时,由弹性体衬套施加30%的夹紧密封压力,并且由不锈钢螺旋弹簧施加70%的夹紧密封压力。
申请人已经观察到,弹性体衬套通常具有比不锈钢螺旋弹簧短的使用寿命;这可能取决于不同的因素,例如使用的化学成分、制造工艺、加工条件(温度和湿度)、以及最后但并非最不重要地,在机器运转期间,弹性体衬套既受到轴向载荷又受到径向载荷的事实。
弹性体衬套的可能磨损会损害夹紧压力的正确施加以及因此损害包装材料上的横向密封的质量。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种用于生产可灌装食品的密封包装的包装机器,提供该包装机器来消除通常与已知机器相关联的上述缺点。
根据本发明,提供了一种如权利要求1所述的包装机器。

具体实施方式
参考图1和图2,数字1作为整体表示用于由包装材料的管14连续地生产容纳可灌装食品例如巴氏杀菌的或UHT牛奶、果汁、酒等的密封包装2的包装机器。
管14以已知方式通过纵向地折叠和密封热密封材料的幅带来形成,并且在上游填充杀菌或消毒处理过的食品用于包装。
机器1包括由两个侧壁4、5以及刚性地装配在侧壁4、5之间的两个平行横壁6、7限定并且通过侧壁4、5限定有开口8的机架3(图1)、以及装配到机架3并且分别包括钳口12(在图1中仅示出一个)和相对钳口13(在图1中仅示出一个)的两个链条输送器10、11,钳口12和相对钳口13互相配合来与沿着通过开口8的竖直路径A供给的包装材料的管14相互作用。
实际上,每个钳口12和对应的相对钳口13能够在它们加压夹紧管14的剖面的夹紧位置与它们从管14被释放的释放位置之间循环地移动。
输送器10和11限定相应的环形路径P和Q,钳口12和相对钳口13沿着环形路径P和Q 被供给,并且环形路径P和Q 分别绕着机架3的壁6和7延伸。
输送器10包括沿着路径P延伸的铰接链条15、以及在路径P的底端在链条15的两侧并且与其啮合的两个传动轮16(在图2中仅示出一个)。钳口12是链条15的交替链节的一体部分并限定链条15的交替链节,且由一对连杆17以铰接的方式彼此连接。
更具体地,每个钳口12(图3)包括细长主体20,细长主体20沿着与路径A垂直并且与壁6平行的方向B延伸,并且具有相应的端部突出部21和22,每个端部突出部具有突出的第一和第二销23、24,第一和第二销23、24相对于彼此间隔开并且具有与主体20的主要尺寸和方向B平行的相应轴线25、26。连杆17在钳口12的销23、24上枢转以将一个钳口12的销23连接到相邻钳口的销24。
相似地,输送器11包括沿着路径Q延伸的铰接链条27、以及在路径Q的底端与链条27啮合的两个传动轮28。链条27由以铰接方式彼此连接的多个相对钳口13限定,相对钳口13仅在它们与钳口12不同的范围内详细描述,并且对于与关于钳口12描述的部件相似或相对应的任何部件使用相同的编号系统。简而言之,每个相对钳口13包括具有端部销23、24对的主体20,连杆17绕着端部销23、24对枢转来连接相对钳口13的相邻对。
每个钳口12包括沿着方向B装配到主体20的加热元件29,例如感应加热元件,加热元件29继而包括一对笔直的平行有效表面30,并且被供电。
与加热元件29相对,每个相对钳口13(图4和图5)包括压力杆35,压力杆35与对应的钳口12的加热元件29配合来夹紧管14的剖面(图2)。在使用时朝向对应的钳口12的正面上,杆35包括由相对柔性的弹性体材料制成的两个带36,带36与和加热元件29的有效表面30相对的包装材料配合。
钳口12和相对钳口13每个包括在形成包装2时用于控制包装2的体积的各自的控制设备37—不形成本发明的部件,并且因此不详细描述。
钳口12和相对钳口13的移动由装配到机架3的壁6、7并且与钳口12和相对钳口13上的各辊对52、53配合的各凸轮对50、51控制。
更具体地,并且如图3所示,钳口12和相对钳口13每个包括空转地装配在主体20的端部突出部21内侧的第一辊对52、53、以及空转地装配在主体20的端部突出部22内侧的第二辊对52、53;每个突出部21、22包括一对平行的并列基座54、55,基座54、55形成在后侧(即背离加热元件29或压力杆35的一侧)并且沿着与销23、24的轴线25、26垂直并且与由轴线25、26限定的平面大致平行的方向延伸。
各对中的辊53容纳在相应的外部基座54内部(即,更靠近主体20的端部)并且装配到相应销23,并且各对中的辊52容纳在相应的内部基座55内部并且装配到相应销24。
壁6(图1)装配有与钳口12的相应辊对52、53配合的两对凸轮50、51;相似地,壁7装配有与相对钳口13的相应辊对52、53配合的两对凸轮50、51。
凸轮50、51包括各自的大致U形部分50a、51a以及在开口8内部沿着相应的壁6、7延伸的相应部分50b、51b,大致U形部分50a、51a绕着相应壁6、7的上缘延伸,以对输送器10、11的各链条15、27限定与相应的传动轮16和28相对的传递部。部分50a、51a限定路径部分P1、Q1,钳口12和相对钳口13从它们的释放位置开始沿着路径部分P1、Q1接近并接触包装材料的管14,并且部分50b、51b限定面对的大致平行的路径部分P2、Q2,钳口12和相对钳口13沿着路径部分P2、Q2保持在它们的夹紧位置,在该位置在压力下接触以形成限定包装2的密封件。
凸轮50、51在路径P和Q的位于各传动轮16、28下游的各部分P3、Q3处释放各链条15、27。
沿着部分P3、Q3,链条15、27与相应的张紧件对56配合,用于张紧链条以确保钳口12和相对钳口13的辊52、53保持与相对凸轮50、51接触。
每个张紧件56包括绕着水平轴线铰接到固定于壁6或7的支承部的可动闸瓦57、以及插设在闸瓦57与壁6或7之间的弹簧59。在背离壁6或7的面上,闸瓦57包括两个并列的滚动轨道60、61,其借助弹簧59分别与钳口12或相对钳口13的辊52和53配合。
每个相对钳口13的压力杆35装配到主体20,以便于被允许沿着与路径A和方向B垂直并且与由销23、24的轴线25、26限定的平面垂直的方向移动有限量;该方向在图5和图6中用X表示,并且在使用时限定由每个钳口/相对钳口对施加在管14上的压力的方向。
杆35通过插设两个弹性连接组件67而装配到主体20,用于在使用时产生沿着方向X的反作用压力,以将杆35保持于相应的钳口12。
组件67设置在杆35的相对端部处,并且在图6中示出其中一个组件67的放大剖面,下面参考图6。
每个组件67基本上包括具有与方向X平行的轴线C的连接元件70,并且包括由在腔71周围的多个螺钉73装配到主体20后部的端部凸缘72,其中连接元件70以充足的径向间隙共轴地装配穿过主体20中的大致圆柱形通腔71。
腔71容纳第一弹性元件75,优选地由不锈钢丝制成的螺旋弹簧,其沿着方向X压缩在凸缘72与杯形抵接元件76之间,杯形抵接元件76能够在腔71内部轴向且松弛地滑动并且轴向且径向地抵接于杆35的面向主体20的部分35a。更具体地,抵接元件76包括与弹性元件75轴向配合的圆形底壁77、以及松弛地设置在腔71内部并且局部地容纳弹性元件75的一个端部的圆柱形壁78;底壁77包括锥形的内刀尖79。
腔71还包括容纳圆形密封件81的周槽80,圆形密封件81以滑动的方式与元件76的圆柱形壁78配合;腔71和抵接元件76方便地填充有润滑油。
轴70的较小直径端部82通过插设第二弹性元件84而容纳在压力杆35的圆柱形腔83内部,第二弹性元件84优选地为弹性体材料比如橡胶的衬套。在轴的端部82的末端装配有与轴70共轴的止动垫圈86;垫圈86的周缘与绕着杆35的腔83延伸的对应的环形表面87轴向地配合,以将杆35保持于与弹性元件75相对的抵接元件76。如图6所示,抵接元件76的底壁77限定与压力杆35的腔83接合的定位环。
实际上,腔71和83沿着轴线C彼此连通,并且作为整体限定用于相对组件67的基座91。
由于上述布置,使得弹性元件75沿着方向X经由抵接元件76压缩在主体20与压力杆35之间。
有利地,弹性元件84沿着轴线C并且因此沿着方向X具有游隙地安装在基座91内部,并且径向地或者沿着与方向B平行的方向夹在轴70的端部82与杆35的界定腔83的部分之间。实际上,弹性元件84以能够沿着方向X自由移动的方式与主体20以及压力杆35联接,以便在管14上的夹紧压力完全由第一弹性元件75限定。
这样,弹性元件84的可变形性仅用来在管14上的夹紧位置补偿相对的相对钳口13与对应的钳口12之间的任何偏差。
实际上,弹性元件84构造为允许相对的压力杆35和对应的加热元件29当在相对的钳口12和相对钳口13的夹紧位置作用在管14上时基本上互相平行,。
优选地,弹性元件84由夹在两个不锈钢环之间的弹性体环形成。
机器1如下运转。
如图2的箭头所示,输送器10、11以已知方式沿着相反方向旋转,使得从各路径P、Q的部分P1、Q1的末端并且沿着各部分P2、Q2,各钳口12和相对钳口13根据由凸轮50、51的轮廓限定的移动与包装材料的管14配合。
在管14被接触并逐渐被压缩且包装材料被局部地折叠以形成与管14交叉地延伸的扁平密封条88的第一阶段之后,钳口12和相对钳口13到达凸轮50、51的各笔直部分50b、51b(图2),在该部分对管14施加最大夹紧压力并且供应每个钳口12的加热元件29来形成热密封。
钳口12和相对钳口13的各自的基本上一致的凸轮50、51的部分50b和部分51b之间的距离沿着所述部分的大部分是恒定的,并且这样选择以使相对钳口13的弹性元件75略微地压缩并变形。
当相对钳口13的杆35与对应的钳口12的加热元件29配合来夹紧包装材料时,杆35沿着夹紧方向X受到的压力经由相应的杯形元件76完全传递到弹性元件75,这是因为弹性元件84能够在相应的基座91内沿着方向X自由地滑动。
这样,施加在管14的包装材料上的夹紧压力由弹性元件75的预载荷来确定。
从前面的描述将清楚根据本发明的机器1的优点。
特别地,在该新布置中,由于橡胶弹性元件84沿着相应的连接元件70轴向地自由移动,所以夹紧压力仅由不锈钢弹性元件75施加;这样,当在管14上执行夹紧和密封操作时,没有轴向载荷施加在橡胶弹性元件84上。这意味着更好地控制夹紧和密封压力,其不会受到橡胶弹性元件的磨损的影响,并意味着后面部件的使用寿命的增加。
实际上,橡胶弹性元件84仅用来允许补偿主体20与相应的压力杆35之间的任何偏差;换句话说,通过它们的变形,橡胶弹性元件84允许每个压力杆35在一定但有限的程度上改变其位置,以便即使在压力杆35由于加工和组装公差而出现较小的定位误差的情况下,压力杆35也沿着整个密封部分施加均匀的压力。
然而,显然在不脱离在所附权利要求中限定的范围的情况下,可以对本文描述和示出的机器1作出改变。

Claims (13)

1.一种包装机器(1),用于由管(14)生产容纳可灌装食品的密封包装(2),该管(14)由片状热密封包装材料制成,被沿着供应路径(A)供给并且填充有所述食品;所述机器(1)包括:
- 能够在夹紧位置和释放位置之间循环地移动的至少钳口(12)和相对钳口(13),在夹紧位置钳口(12)和相对钳口(13)加压夹紧所述管(14)的剖面,在释放位置钳口(12)和相对钳口(13)从所述管(14)被释放;
