Abstract
本发明提供一种燃料用软管,其具备由以芳香族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分、含有碳原子数10~28的有机酸盐的树脂组合物(A)构成的管状的内层(1)和接触于其外周面而设置的由以脂肪族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分的树脂组合物(B)构成的外层(2),两层层间粘结。因此,上述燃料用软管的燃料低透过性优异,同时层间粘结性等也优异。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及在汽车等的燃料(汽油、混合醇汽油、柴油机燃料等)的运输等中使用的燃料用软管。
背景技术
近年来,围绕着汽车的燃料气体的蒸散规定变得严格起来,对此,研究了各种低透过性燃料用软管。作为这种燃料用软管,一直以来氟树脂制的软管是主流,但在要求更为严格的燃料低透过性能时,不得不增加氟树脂层的厚度,因而具有软管变得昂贵的难点。因而,作为比氟树脂廉价、燃料低透过性优异的树脂,例如聚苯硫醚树脂(PPS)、聚酰胺9T(PA9T/聚1,9-亚壬基对苯二酰胺)等芳香族聚酰胺树脂、聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)等芳香族聚酯树脂备受关注。近年来提出了各种具备由这些树脂构成的燃料低透过层的软管(例如参照专利文献1~3)。

发明内容
发明要解决的问题
然而,软管材料中使用的、燃料低透过性特别优异的PA9T等芳香族聚酰胺树脂的刚性高,仅用其制成单层构造的软管时,柔软性差、特别不耐受低温下的撞击、易于发生软管断裂。为了解决该问题,研究了一种多层软管,其如下构成:降低上述芳香族聚酰胺树脂层的厚度,并在其外周形成由脂肪族聚酰胺树脂、聚乙烯树脂等柔软性优异的热塑性树脂构成的外层。但是,由于芳香族聚酰胺树脂与其他材料的粘结性差,因而在上述内层与外层的层压化时通常需要在该两层的界面上设置粘结剂层。因此,会发生仅上述粘结剂层部分的制造工序就变得复杂、而且还导致软管重量增加的问题。
本发明鉴于上述事实而进行,其目的在于提供燃料低透过性优异、同时层间粘结性等也优异的燃料用软管及其制法。
用于解决问题的方案
为了达成上述目的,本发明的第一主旨是一种燃料用软管,其具备由下述(A)构成的管状内层、和接触于其外周面而设置的由下述(B)构成的外层,两层层间粘结。
(A)以芳香族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分、含有碳原子数10~28的有机酸盐的树脂组合物。
(B)以脂肪族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分的树脂组合物。
另外,本发明的第二主旨为燃料用软管的制法,其为上述第一主旨的燃料用软管的制法,通过熔融挤出成形将上述用于形成内层的树脂组合物(A)和上述用于形成外层的树脂组合物(B)共挤出。
即,本发明人等为了解决上述课题进行了深入研究。并且对于在燃料低透过性优异的PA9T等芳香族聚酰胺树脂制内层的外周具备由PA12等脂肪族聚酰胺树脂构成的外层的多层软管而言,以改善其内层/外层间的层间粘结性为中心反复进行了研究。在该研究的过程中发现,造成上述多层软管中的内层/外层间的层间粘结性的不良的原因之一在于:作为外层材料的脂肪族聚酰胺树脂的酰胺键(-CONH-)易由于熔融挤出成形时的热熔融而开裂(-CO NH-),与此相对,作为内层材料的芳香族聚酰胺树脂的酰胺键难以仅由于热熔融而开裂,本发明人等反复进行了进一步研究,结果发现通过在内层材料中配合特定的有机酸盐(碳原子数10~24的有机酸盐),作为内层材料的芳香族聚酰胺树脂的酰胺键变得易于开裂(上述有机酸盐由于成形加工时的热量而发生解离,由此产生酸,从而使酰胺键变得易于开裂)。而且发现,在挤出成形机的摸头附近等,上述两层的酰胺键开裂的产物(-CO NH-)越过这两层本身和两层之间,再次进行酰胺键合(酰胺交换反应),因而可获得所期望的层间粘结力,从而完成了本发明。
发明的效果
如上所述,本发明的燃料用软管为:具备由以PA9T等芳香族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分的树脂组合物构成的管状内层和由以脂肪族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分的树脂组合物构成的外层,上述用于形成内层的树脂组合物中含有碳原子数10~28的有机酸盐的燃料用软管。因此,本发明的燃料用软管的层间粘结性高,另外,质量轻、燃料低透过性优异,同时柔软性、耐低温冲击性、耐热性也优异。另外,本发明的燃料用软管可以没有粘结剂地进行其层间的粘结,而且材料成本便宜,因而尽管如上所述为高性能,也可达成低成本化。
另外,当在上述内层的内周面上进一步具备由氟系树脂构成的最内层时,燃料低透过性变得更为优异。
而且,上述燃料用软管通过利用熔融挤出成形将用于形成内层的树脂组合物和用于形成外层的树脂组合物共挤出,并利用内层材料中的有机酸盐的作用,可无粘结剂地进行层间粘结。

具体实施方式
接着,对本发明的实施方式进行说明。
本发明的燃料用软管例如如图1所示那样构成:在使燃料流通的管状内层1的外周面上层压形成有外层2。而且采用上述内层1由下述(A)构成、上述外层2由下述(B)构成、并且两层层间粘结的构成。予以说明,下述(A)和(B)的树脂组合物的“主要成分”是指对该树脂组合物整体的特性造成很大影响的物质,本发明中是指总体的50重量%以上。
(A)以芳香族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分、含有碳原子数10~28的有机酸盐的树脂组合物。
(B)以脂肪族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分的树脂组合物。
作为用作上述内层1的形成材料的芳香族聚酰胺树脂,例如可举出聚酰胺4T(PA4T)、聚酰胺6T(PA6T)、聚酰胺MXD6(PAMXD6)、聚酰胺9T(PA9T)、聚酰胺10T(PA10T)、聚酰胺11T(PA11T)、聚酰胺12T(PA12T)、聚酰胺13T(PA13T)等。这些物质可单独使用或者两种以上合并使用。其中,从柔软性和阻隔性的观点出发,优选使用PA9T。
另外,如上所述,在内层1用材料中配合碳原子数10~28的有机酸盐。优选碳原子数10~26的有机酸盐。即,其原因在于,当碳原子数小于上述范围时,有机酸盐解离而产生的有机酸在挤出加工温度下发生气化,在芳香族聚酰胺中作为气泡残存,无法获得正常的成形品;相反当碳原子数超过上述范围时,上述有机酸盐解离而产生的酸的活性下降,芳香族聚酰胺树脂的酰胺键的开裂作用降低,因而无法获得所期望的层间粘结效果。另外,由此观点出发,上述有机酸盐优选为饱和脂肪酸金属盐。而且,作为上述饱和脂肪酸金属盐的具体例子,例如可举出硬脂酸锌(C18)、月桂酸锌(C12)、辛酸锌(C8)、山嵛酸锌(C22)、褐煤酸锌(C28)、蜂花酸锌(C30)、月桂酸钙(C12)、月桂酸钡(C12)、月桂酸锂(C12)、硬脂酸钴(C18)、硬脂酸钾(C18)、硬脂酸锂(C18)、硬脂酸钡(C18)、硬脂酸钙(C18)、硬脂酸镁(C18)、硬脂酸铝(C18)、硬脂酸钠(C18)、硬脂酸镍(C18)、硬脂酸铅(C18)、硬脂酸铜(II)(C18)、山嵛酸钙(C22)、山嵛酸锌(C22)、山嵛酸镁(C22)、山嵛酸锂(C22)、山嵛酸钠(C22)、山嵛酸银(C22)、褐煤酸钙(C28)、褐煤酸镁(C28)、褐煤酸铝(C28)、褐煤酸锂(C28)、褐煤酸钠(C28)等。这些物质可单独使用或可2种以上合并使用。上述有机酸盐中,从在芳香族聚酰胺树脂的熔融挤出成形时的熔融温度(300℃左右)下分解、与芳香族聚酰胺树脂的反应性(利用其酸的酰胺键的开裂作用)优异的方面出发,优选使用硬脂酸锌、硬脂酸钙。
作为上述内层1用材料的树脂组合物(A)中的上述有机酸盐的含有比例优选为0.05~5重量%的范围、更优选为0.1~1重量%的范围。即,其原因在于,小于上述范围时,无法获得有机酸盐所带来的所期待的层间粘结效果;相反,超过上述范围时,在粘结界面附近,由于过剩的有机酸盐的解离所产生的酸,酰胺键的解离较再键合更占优势,因而此时也无法获得所期望的层间粘结效果。
作为用作上述外层2的形成材料的脂肪族聚酰胺树脂,例如可举出聚酰胺46(PA46)、聚酰胺6(PA6)、聚酰胺66(PA66)、聚酰胺99(PA99)、聚酰胺610(PA610)、聚酰胺612(PA612)、聚酰胺11(PA11)、聚酰胺912(PA912)、聚酰胺12(PA12)、聚酰胺6和聚酰胺66的共聚物(PA6/66)、聚酰胺6和聚酰胺12的共聚物(PA6/12)等。这些物质可单独使用或者2种以上合并使用。
予以说明,在上述内层1用材料、外层2用材料中除了作为其主要成分的树脂、添加于其中的特定的有机酸盐以外,还可根据需要含有炭黑、氧化钛等颜料,碳酸钙等填充剂,脂肪酸酯,矿物油,丁基苯磺酰胺等增塑剂,受阻酚系抗氧化剂、磷系热稳定剂等抗氧化剂、耐热抗老化剂,α-聚烯烃等抗冲击剂,紫外线防止剂,抗静电剂,有机纤维、玻璃纤维、碳纤维、金属晶须等加固剂、阻燃剂等。
前述图1所示的本发明的燃料用软管例如可如下制作。即,如上所述分别准备内层1用材料和外层2用材料,一边使用挤出成形机(プラスチツク工学研究所公司制的多层挤出成形机)对该各层的形成材料进行熔融混炼(内层材料在260~330℃下混炼、外层材料在200~250℃下混炼),一边进行共挤出成形,将该共挤出的熔融管通入定型模具(sizing dies)中,从而可制作在内层1的外周面形成有外层2而成的2层结构的燃料用软管。通过如此进行熔融挤出(共挤出)成形,利用内层1材料中的有机酸盐的作用,从而能够使两层的层间良好地粘结。
予以说明,当软管形成蛇腹状时,通过将上述共挤出的熔融管通入波纹成形机,可以制作规定尺寸的蛇腹状软管。
对于如此获得的本发明的燃料用软管而言,软管内径优选为1~40mm的范围内、特别优选为2~36mm的范围内,软管外径优选为2~44mm的范围内、特别优选为3~40mm的范围内。另外,内层1的厚度优选为0.02~1.0mm的范围内、特别优选为0.05~0.6mm的范围内。外层2的厚度优选为0.03~1.5mm的范围内、特别优选为0.05~1.0mm的范围内。
予以说明,本发明的燃料用软管并非限定于前述图1所示的2层构造,例如还可以是形成为在内层1的内周面形成有最内层的3层构造的情况。
而且,当上述最内层由氟系树脂构成时,本发明的燃料用软管的燃料低透过性变得更为优异,优选。作为上述氟系树脂,例如可举出聚氟乙烯(PVF)、聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)、聚三氟氯乙烯(CTFE)、聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)、四氟乙烯·六氟丙烯共聚物(FEP)、四氟乙烯·全氟烷基乙烯基醚共聚物(PFA)、四氟乙烯·六氟丙烯·偏氟乙烯共聚物(THV)、乙烯和四氟乙烯的共聚物(ETFE)、乙烯和聚三氟氯乙烯的共聚物(ECTFE)等共聚物或者它们的改性共聚物、各种接枝聚合物及混合体,还可举出在这些物质中添加炭黑、碳纤维、碳纳米管、导电性高分子等赋予了导电性的导电氟系树脂等。这些物质可单独使用或者2种以上合并使用。
在上述内层1的内周面形成最内层而成的本发明的燃料用软管例如可如下制作。即,与之前的内层1用材料和外层2用材料一起准备最内层用材料,根据之前所述的制法,将最内层与内层1和外层2一起共挤出成形,或者另外使用最内层用挤出成形机将最内层挤出成形至通过之前所述制法成形的内层1的内周面上,将由此获得的熔融管通入定型模具内,从而可制作在内层1的内周面形成有最内层而成的燃料用软管。
本发明的燃料用软管中,上述最内层的厚度优选为0.03~0.5mm的范围内、特别优选为0.05~0.3mm的范围内。予以说明,构成上述最内层的本发明的燃料用软管中,内层1、外层2的厚度、软管内径、外径的优选范围根据之前的记载。
另外,本发明的燃料用软管还可以是根据需要在外层2的外周形成由适当材料构成的最外层的构造。
本发明的燃料用软管优选用作汽油、混合醇汽油、柴油机燃料、CNG(压缩天然气)、LPG(液化石油气)等汽车用燃料的运输用软管,但并非限定于此,也可用作甲醇、氢、二甲基醚(DME)等燃料电池汽车用的燃料运输用软管。

准备下述表1~表5所示的最内层用材料(仅实施例16~21)、内层用材料、外层用材料,使用挤出成形机(プラスチツク工学研究所公司制的多层挤出成形机)将它们熔融混炼,并进行共挤出成形,从而制作内径6mm的平滑软管。予以说明,上述制作的平滑软管为2层构造时,为内层的厚度0.3mm/外层的厚度0.7mm;为3层构造时,为最内层的厚度0.05mm/内层的厚度0.25mm/外层的厚度0.7mm。

使用如此获得的实施例和比较例的软管,根据下述标准进行各特性的评价。将这些结果一并示于后述的表6~表9中。
〔燃料透过量〕
对于各软管,使用等压式软管透过率测定装置(GTRテツク公司制、GTR-TUBE3-TG)在40℃下测定一个月内以45∶45∶10(体积比)的比例混合甲苯/异辛烷/乙醇的模拟醇添加汽油的透过系数(单位:mg/m/day)。予以说明,表中记载的数值是达到平衡时的值。而且,将该值小于50(mg/m/day)的情况评价为○、50(mg/m/day)以上的情况评价为×。
〔层间粘结力〕
将各软管剪切成10mm宽的长方形,制作样品。然后,使各样品的层间(实施例1~14、比较例1~2中为内层/外层间。实施例15~20为最内层/内层和内层/外层间。)剥离,分别夹在拉伸试验机的卡盘上,在拉伸速度50mm/分钟的条件下测定180°剥离强度(N/cm)。予以说明,当剥离强度为20N/cm以上时,设定层间粘结性为良好的目标值,在其评价中表示为○,将15N/cm以上且小于20N/cm的情况评价为△,将10N/cm以上且小于15N/cm的情况评价为△△,将小于10N/cm的情况评价为×。予以说明,本发明中,要求为△△以上的评价(○、△和△△)。

由上述结果可知,实施例1~21的软管的燃料透过量均较小、层间粘结性均优异。
与其相对,比较例1的软管与实施例品同样采用PA9T内层和PA 12外层的层压构造,但内层材料中不含特定的有机酸盐、无法获得实施例品那样的层间粘结性。比较例2的软管的内层发泡、无法成形。
予以说明,上述实施例中显示了本发明的具体方式,但上述实施例仅是单纯的示例,并非是限定地进行解释。而且属于权利要求的均等范围内的变更全部在本发明的范围内。
产业上的可利用性
本发明的燃料用软管优选可用作汽油、混合醇汽油、柴油机燃料、CNG(压缩天然气)、LPG(液化石油气)等汽车用燃料的运输用软管。
Claims (5)
1.一种燃料用软管,其特征在于,具备由下述(A)构成的管状的内层(1)和接触于其外周面而设置的由下述(B)构成的外层(2),两层层间粘结,
(A)以芳香族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分、含有碳原子数10~28的有机酸盐的树脂组合物,且所述树脂组合物(A)中的所述有机酸盐的含有比例为0.05~5重量%的范围;
(B)以脂肪族聚酰胺树脂为主要成分的树脂组合物。
2.根据权利要求1所述的燃料用软管,其中,所述树脂组合物(A)中所含的所述有机酸盐为饱和脂肪酸金属盐。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的燃料用软管,其中,作为所述树脂组合物(A)的主要成分的芳香族聚酰胺树脂为聚酰胺9T(PA9T)。
4.根据权利要求1或2中任一项所述的燃料用软管,其中,在所述内层(1)的内周面上进一步具备由氟系树脂构成的最内层。
5.一种燃料用软管的制法,其为权利要求1~4中任一项所述的燃料用软管的制法,其特征在于,通过熔融挤出成形将用于形成所述内层(1)的树脂组合物(A)和用于形成所述外层(2)的树脂组合物(B)共挤出。
