Abstract

背景技术
本发明的领域为输注泵,并且一般地涉及用于典型地经静脉内线路对患者泵送或输注医用流体容积的系统、设备和方法。
输注泵用来典型地经静脉内线路向患者输注药物和液体。虽然一些输注泵处理相对较大的容积,但可能更关注能够仅递送非常小受控容积的液体的泵。所用药物可以是非常重要的,例如止痛药、包括鸦片剂在内的麻醉剂、抗炎剂、胰岛素、镇挛药、抗生素、化疗剂、心血管药物等。许多此类药物需要以非常低的剂量连续供给,以使得长时间内为患者供给稳定可靠的流,例如每小时0.1ml。如果使用脉冲,则可以测量按每脉冲或每次推注的纳升或微升数测量的剂量率。不论使用小容积泵或较大容积泵,泵的精度可以为患者带来成功的结果。
一些输注泵沿管子长度具有带有入口阀和出口阀的增压室。输注流体通过打开的入口阀接收到增压室内一段长度的管子内,然后通过关闭管子入口处的入口阀封闭管子以隔离输注流体。然后,打开出口阀,泵送机构压缩或以其他方式按摩所关注的一段管子,以将流体从增压室泵送或排向患者。由于入口被关闭的阀门堵塞,液体只能经阀门打开的出口流出。然后,关闭出口阀,并打开入口阀和泵送机构,以允许另外的流体从流体源进入增压室。上述过程被称为单个泵送周期或冲程。

发明内容
本公开包括可为患者递送指定量的药物,例如胰岛素或吗啡,的输注泵。该泵准确递送指定量的正确药物,从而确保患者达到最佳的可能效果。该泵使用管子,尤其使用接触长度的管子,来操作,以将来自诸如静脉注射(“IV”)容器的源的药物经接触长度输送,以使得药物不接触空气,从而避免患者接触污染物。典型地,通过将塑性材料从模具中挤出来制备管子。所得管子的尺寸,例如内径或外径,可以变化多达百分之三或四。本发明的泵通过确定管子在使用过程中的接触部分的实际尺寸克服了这个问题。

现在参见附图,具体参见图1,图中示出了本公开的滑阀式输注泵50的一个实施例。输注泵50包括管子16、入口阀52、出口阀53和具有上活动压板12与下静止压板14的滑阀部分10。阀门52和53及滑阀部分10分别由线性致动器54a至54c致动。泵控制器100可与输注泵50的其他处理器诸如监控处理器和安全处理器(未示出)一起工作,控制泵50及其线性致动器54a至54c。
为了泵送流体,致动器54a打开入口阀52。致动器54b关闭出口阀53,以及致动器54c回缩压板12,以允许管子16打开以例如通过重力接纳液体药物。接着,致动器54a和54b分别使阀门52和53的状态反转,致动器54c将压板12推向压板14以压缩管子51,从而排出刚好充盈压板12和14之间的管子51的流体容积。

要使用该方法测量管子的直径,理论上可以将管子压缩至任何位置。如图3B的公式框2中所示,接触长度l1、l2取自两个不同的距离d1和d2处。接触长度l1和l2的差值与压缩步骤中压板距离d的差值成比例。利用这些对应值,使用压板距离d的变化,可以确定接触长度l的变化。此外,当使用该方法测量管子直径时,通过将管子压缩至很多不同位置,可以进行多次测试,然后使用所有计算值的平均值来获得更准确的值。

当管子压靠滑阀部分10的压板12和14时,阵列24的传感器26能够检测到管子的存在。例如,可以使用小的紧凑型压力传感器、电容式传感器或电感式传感器。传感器26检测是否存在如上所示管子16的弄平部分。当管子仅仅与压板相切接触时,传感器26将停止检测是否存在管子16。例如,当管子16接触压力传感器26时,该压力传感器将显示压力的快速升高或急剧上升。当移除压力时,压力的下降和压力信号也会同样迅速。电容式传感器26将以类似方式工作,当管子接近电容式传感器例如间隔开已知距离l的两个电容式传感器26时,快速检测管子材料,尤其是湿材料。

图8A和8B示出了用于确定接触长度和距离的另一种设备和方法。这里再次,滑阀部分10包括接纳圆形塑性管子16的顶部压板12和底部压板14。顶部压板12装有两种传感器,即接近传感器34和两个微动开关36。底部压板14装有用于接近传感器34的匹配感测对象38。当接近传感器34为例如电容式传感器时,感测对象38为适于被电容式传感器检测的标靶,例如,薄金属板或导电区域。当底部压板14为金属时,电感式或电容式传感器可以在没有独立标靶的情况下感测压板14本身。
顶部压板12也包括两个微动开关36。微动开关为小型限位开关,当管子16的接触部分靠近(管子闭合)或离开(管子打开)顶部压板12的底部表面时,该开关被触发。因此,微动开关36的操作类似于上述传感器阵列24,其中微动开关之间的距离用作传感器阵列的距离l。作为另外一种选择,也可以使用线性可变差动变压器(“LVDT”),有时也称为线性电压位移变压器,来确定压板12和14之间的距离d。
结合以上附图描述的多种传感器的样品读数结合图9至11进行了讨论。在图9中,使用接近传感器以感测活动压板12向着静止压板14的靠近。这种靠近可以是非线性的,并且示出有点非线性的信号。然而,当两个压板非常靠近时,该信号趋于非常小地变化。也就是说,距离变化非线性地降低至距离24,并且其在2t和假想的零距离之间保持稳定。因此,控制器100可以被构造为观察距离变化或Δd变为零,以确定管子16被完全压缩。因此,在一个实施例中,当接近传感器信号强度被稳定在某个量或百分比内时,推断为距离2t。该模式对于例如电容式传感器、电感式传感器、超声波传感器适用。
在图10中,公开了压力传感器的读数。在该实施例中,压力传感器,例如作为传感器阵列24的一部分,读数为零值,如图所示,该值在切点d=2r(图3B)处上升至非常小的值。当压板12继续闭合时,随着管子从d=2r压缩至d=2t,压力升高,直到当距离达到2t(管子被压平)时,压力出现非常快速的升高。
图11示出微动开关的读数,当管子压缩触点时,该开关将根据需要接通或关闭。在图示情况下,开关正常接通,并且当压板12闭合时,开关保持接通,并发出稳定的信号,直到达到切点(d=2r)时,开关关断。接着,开关在d=2r和d=2t之间,甚至经过点2t处,保持关闭,直到压板12打开和微动开关复位。
本公开还包括管子16不刚好位于滑阀部分10中央的情形。例如,图12A示出管子16向左偏移距离Δd的上压板12和下压板14。传感器26a和26b(如压力传感器)将注意到这种偏移。图12B示出,相隔距离l的两个压力开关26a和26b的阵列24获取不同时间的压力。在这种情况下,管子16偏向左侧,而左侧的第一压力传感器26a首先检测压力,其压力检测时间和距离不同于由右侧的传感器26b所检测的压力。在图12C中,当使用如图8A和8B所示的两个针型(pin-type)微动开关时,左侧开关36在右侧开关36跳脱之前被管子跳脱。在这种情况下,真实的管子接触长度将等于l+Δl,其中l为两传感器之间的距离(图12A),Δl为因时间差引起的额外接触长度,该时间差为左侧第一传感器检测到压力和右侧第二传感器检测到压力之间的时间差,如图12D所示。管子接触压板的额外长度为Δl。根据第一和第二压力传感器检测到压力急剧上升的时间差,可以测量压板距离的差值Δd。然后,使用Δd计算Δl,如图12D所示。利用总管子接触长度l+Δl和压板之间的距离,可以计算管子直径。当然,如果存在偏移引起的延时,则距离变化Δd将与接触长度变化Δl反转。
现在参见图13,图中示出使用线性蠕动泵60进行替代操作的本公开的管子直径检测。输注泵60包括马达61、驱动轴62和用于将泵杆64压紧抵靠管子65的多个凸轮板63。致动器64压紧抵靠静止部分66,从而在杆之间连续挤压输注液。输注泵60还包括另外的凸轮板67。在该实施例中,泵控制器100控制马达61,分离凸轮板67,并从接近传感器69接收信号。在输注泵的控制器的命令下,凸轮板67包括接近传感器69。当凸轮板被向前推动时,接近传感器69感测静止部分68内的标靶70,该标耙70可以是静止部分66的一部分,或者可以不同。静止部分68包括用于感测管子65抵靠静止部分68的接触长度的长度传感器71。微处理器控制器100接收来自传感器69和71的信号并控制马达61、凸轮板67和输注泵的其他部分。
微控制器100还具有存储器,或者能够访问存储器,用于计算机可读介质上的计算机程序,以保存上述公式和如上文所述计算管子的接触长度和直径。根据这些读数和计算,控制器100计算已经递送给患者的药物或输注液的体积。
应当理解,本文所述优选实施例的各种变化和修改对于本领域的技术人员将显而易见。在不脱离本主题精神和范围且不减少其预期优点的情况下,可以进行这些变化和修改。因此,旨在由所附权利要求涵盖这些变化和修改。
权利要求书(按照条约第19条的修改)
1.一种测量管子(16)的方法,所述方法包括:
将管子(16)加载到夹具(10)内;
在所述夹具(10)的相对表面(12,14)之间压缩所述管子(16);
在压缩的同时接收指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号,其中所述指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号指示所述夹具(10)的所述相对表面(12,14)之间的距离;
接收指示所述管子(16)抵靠所述相对表面(12,14)中的至少一个的接触长度的信号;以及
计算所述管子(16)的内径和厚度。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,还包括监视所述指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号或所述指示所述接触长度的信号。
3.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述相对表面(12,14)包括静止表面和活动表面,并且所述指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号是从被设置在所述相对表面(12,14)中的静止表面或活动表面上的传感器接收的。
4.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号由LVDT、超声波传感器(18,19)、空气混入传感器或电容式传感器(30)产生。
5.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述指示接触长度的信号由传感器(26)、压力传感器(26a,26b)、传感器阵列(24)、开关阵列(36)或电容式传感器(30)产生。
6.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述相对表面(12,14)为输注泵(50)的一部分。
7.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述计算步骤利用两个半圆以及管子(16)与所述相对表面(12,14)的接触长度计算所述管子(16)的直径。
8.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,所述方法包括:产生和接收所述指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号;以及产生和接收所述指示所述管子的所述接触长度的信号。
9.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述计算步骤包括计算所述管子(16)的内径。
10.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,还包括利用所计算的内径计算液体输注物的体积。
11.一种输注泵(50),所述输注泵(50)包括:
入口阀(52);
出口阀(53);
滑阀(10),所述滑阀(10)包括滑阀静止部分(14)和滑阀活动部分(12),并且被构造用于在所述滑阀静止部分(14)和所述滑阀活动部分(12)之间挤压管子(16)的一段长度,其中所述滑阀活动部分(12)朝着和远离所述滑阀静止部分(14)移动以操作所述输注泵(50);

14.根据权利要求11至13中的任一项所述的输注泵(50),还包括安装在所述活动部分(12)和所述静止部分(14)中的另一个上的标靶(32)。
15.一种输注泵(60),所述输注泵(60)包括:
正排量泵,所述正排量泵用于操纵管子(65)以准确递送药物;
第一传感器(69),所述第一传感器(69)安装在所述正排量泵的活动部分(67)或静止部分(68)中的一个上,用于检测所述活动部分(67)和所述静止部分(68)之间的距离;和

16.根据权利要求15所述的输注泵(60),其中所述正排量泵为滑阀泵或蠕动泵。
17.根据权利要求15和16中的任一项所述的输注泵(60),其中所述第一传感器(69)为空气混入传感器或接近传感器。
18.根据权利要求15至17中的任一项所述的输注泵(60),其中所述至少一个第二传感器(71)包括两个间隔开的传感器(26)或微动开关(36)。
19.根据权利要求15至18中的任一项所述的输注泵(60),其中所述控制器(100)执行计算机可读盘上的计算机程序,以计算所述管子的所述长度、所述厚度和所述内径。
20.根据权利要求15和17至19中的任一项所述的输注泵(60),其中所述输注泵(60)为线性蠕动泵,并且所述活动部分(67)为多个凸轮板中的一个。
Claims (20)
1.一种测量管子(16)的方法,所述方法包括:
将管子(16)加载到夹具(10)内;
在所述夹具(10)的相对表面(12,14)之间压缩所述管子(16);
在压缩的同时接收指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号;
接收指示所述管子(16)抵靠所述相对表面(12,14)中的至少一个的接触长度的信号;以及
计算所述管子(16)的直径和厚度。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,还包括监视所述指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号或所述指示所述接触长度的信号。
3.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号指示所述夹具(10)的所述相对表面(12,14)之间的距离。
4.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号由LVDT、超声波传感器(18,19)、空气混入传感器或电容式传感器(30)产生。
5.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述指示接触长度的信号由传感器(26)、压力传感器(26a,26b)、传感器阵列(24)、开关阵列(36)或电容式传感器(30)产生。
6.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述相对表面(12,14)为输注泵(50)的一部分。
7.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,其中所述计算步骤利用两个半圆以及管子(16)与所述相对表面(12,14)的接触长度计算所述管子(16)的直径。
8.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法,所述方法包括:产生和接收所述指示所述管子(16)的压缩的信号;以及产生和接收所述指示所述管子的所述接触长度的信号。

11.一种采用根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的方法的输注泵(50),所述输注泵(50)包括:
入口阀(52);
出口阀(53);
滑阀(10),所述滑阀(10)包括滑阀静止部分(14)和滑阀活动部分(12),并且被构造用于在所述滑阀静止部分(14)和所述滑阀活动部分(12)之间挤压管子(16)的一段长度,其中所述滑阀活动部分(12)朝着和远离所述滑阀静止部分(14)移动以操作所述输注泵(50);

14.根据权利要求11至13中的任一项所述的输注泵(50),还包括安装在所述活动部分(12)和所述静止部分(14)中的另一个上的标靶(32)。
15.一种根据权利要求1至10中的任一项所述的输注泵(60),所述输注泵(60)包括:
正排量泵,所述正排量泵用于操纵管子(65)以准确递送药物;

19.根据权利要求15至18中的任一项所述的输注泵(60),还包括在计算机可读盘上用于计算所述管子的长度和直径的计算机程序。
