Abstract

具体实施方式
参考图1,示出包括轴承22和用于轴承的轴承座24的轴承组件20。轴承组件20可包括如图1所示的座架、或带凸缘的或收紧槽轴承组件构造。轴承座24可以是整体的或分裂的,并且轴承组件可以是密封的或者设置有再润滑特征。轴承组件20可由轴承厂作为安装在轴承座中的单元而提供。根据需要,可以单独地提供轴承,以由最终用户与轴承座组装。轴承组件使用的材料可根据应用广泛地改变,并且可包括聚合物、钢、铁和/或其它铸造材料。轴承座具有形成为接纳轴承的尺寸的内孔。
轴承座具有形成为装配轴承的尺寸的孔26。轴承座孔26可具有球形形状,以允许轴承自动校准和/或自动定心。也就是说,外圈可具有外径表面,该外径表面具有成形为装配在轴承座孔中的轮廓。然而,轴承座孔和轴承可具有诸如圆柱形的其他构造。轴承和轴承座可以是键合的和/或具有防旋转特征28、30,以在操作期间防止轴承在轴承座内的旋转。
图2示出轴承22另外的细节。轴承具有与外圈42同心布置的内圈40,外圈与内圈之间具有旋转元件44,所述旋转元件允许内圈相对于外圈进行旋转运动。如图2所示,旋转元件44包括通过保持架46围绕轴承约束在间隔开的周向方向中的滚珠。还可使用诸如圆柱、锥形销或滚子的其它旋转元件。保持架可根据应用包括钢、尼龙或聚合材料。
内圈具有孔48,该孔具有容纳旋转轴或特定应用所规定的其它旋转元件的尺寸。外圈具有外径表面50,该外径表面具有成形为装配在前面描述的轴承座孔26中的轮廓。在附图所示的构造中,内圈旋转而外圈保持静止。然而,应理解的是,可使用包括固定内圈和使外圈旋转的其它构造。
轴承在轴承的轴向两侧上具有内密封60,以防止污染物干涉旋转元件的操作。如附图所示,内密封60包括从形成在外圈42的内径表面66上的凹槽64延伸的支撑构件62。在支撑构件62的远侧端部处,装配刮片68,以接合内圈40的外径表面70。示出的刮片具有两个边缘72、74,以提供与内圈的外径表面70的密封接触。根据应用可使用刮片和刮片边缘的其它构造。内密封60保持内圈与外圈40、42之间的润滑剂,并帮助防止污染物进入内圈与外圈之间。内密封60与油脂一起用作迷宫式密封和过滤器,以防止污染物干涉内圈和外圈之间的旋转元件的操作。内密封的取向也可以是反向的,使得支撑构件可附接内圈的外径,而刮片可接触外圈的内径。
护圈80设置在轴承外部、邻近内密封60。护圈80用作防护物,以保护内密封。如图2所示,护圈80固定至内圈40,并与内圈一起旋转,以帮助防碎屑和污染物。护圈也可固定至外圈。如所示,轴承在轴承的两轴向侧上均设置有护圈。然而,根据应用,护圈可用在轴承的一个轴向侧上。护圈还可具有与内密封支撑构件紧密匹配的形状,以遮蔽在内密封支撑构件中并与该内密封支撑构件形成迷宫式密封。
在护圈80上可设置有延伸构件90。延伸构件90沿轴承的轴向侧从护圈径向延伸。如所示,延伸构件90沿朝外圈的方向从护圈径向向外延伸。然而,延伸构件可朝内圈从护圈径向向内延伸。优选地,护圈80形成有轮毂92,并且延伸构件90安装在该轮毂上。在轴承的操作期间,延伸构件可接合外圈42的侧面94的一部分,以优选地在轴承的操作期间与外圈侧面形成密封。外圈侧面94优选地为磨削表面,以在轴承的操作期间减小延伸构件与外圈侧面之间的摩擦接触。延伸构件90可与外圈侧面具有稍微的干涉配合。延伸构件90还可在轴承的操作期间偏移,以接合外圈侧面。在这点上,延伸构件优选地由诸如橡胶的弹性体材料制成,以允许该延伸构件在轴承的操作期间偏移从而接合外圈侧面。延伸构件还可从护圈径向向外延伸足够的距离,使得当轴承不操作时,该延伸构件覆盖外圈侧面。在有些应用中,当轴承静止时,延伸构件可接触外圈侧面,而当轴承旋转时,延伸构件可根据需要偏移至中间位置或离开外圈侧面,以减小摩擦。如上所述,当护圈安装至外圈时,这些特征的取向可倒转。
延伸构件90的横截面几何形状可构造成当轴承操作时,增强延伸构件的密封和偏移特性。例如,延伸构件可根据用于形成该延伸构件的材料而在其内侧面和/或外侧面上形成有加强支柱96。当延伸构件由橡胶或其他弹性体材料形成时,加强支柱96具有的几何形状可在轴承的操作期间允许延伸构件偏移,以接合外圈侧面。例如,加强支柱可在延伸构件的外侧面上形成径向突起,以产生鼓风效应,从而使碎屑和其它污染物偏离轴承。鼓风效应和旋转可形成足够的力以使延伸构件偏移从而形成密封。应理解的是,鼓风效应和旋转还可形成足够的力以使延伸构件偏移至中间位置或离开外圈侧面的位置从而减小摩擦。根据使用轴承的应用,加强支柱可设计成根据预期的加压材料流朝轴承偏移。加强支柱还可构造成在延伸构件的内侧面上形成凹穴98,以保持用于轴承的油脂和其它润滑剂。护圈80、延伸构件90和内密封60与设置在它们之间的润滑剂和油脂一起用作迷宫式密封,以防止污染物进入,否则该污染物可能干涉轴承的旋转元件的操作。
图3示出护圈80和延伸构件90的横截面视图。如上所述,护圈80具有可固定至轴承内圈40的外径表面70的环形轴向安装构件100,并且延伸构件90从护圈的远侧径向边缘102径向延伸。延伸构件的几何形状可在延伸构件的内侧104上的相邻加强支柱96之间形成凹穴98,以保持用于轴承的油脂和其它润滑剂,并且该几何形状在延伸构件的外侧108上形成径向风扇叶片106,以便使碎屑偏离护圈,并如根据轴承的应用期望地使延伸构件沿期望的方向偏移。延伸构件90可在其远端处形成有凹陷110,以允许护圈的远端102插入该凹陷110中,从而将延伸构件稳固地固定至护圈。在凹陷中可沉积胶或其它合适的粘合剂,以将延伸构件固定至护圈的远端。

Claims (23)
1.一种轴承,包括:
内圈,所述内圈与外圈同心设置,所述内圈与外圈之间具有旋转元件,所述旋转元件适于允许所述内圈相对于所述外圈进行旋转运动;以及
护圈,所述护圈固定至所述内圈和外圈中的一个,所述护圈具有延伸构件,所述延伸构件沿所述轴承的轴向侧从所述护圈径向向外延伸,并接合所述内圈和外圈中的另一个的侧面的一部分,以在所述轴承的内圈和外圈之间形成密封。
2.根据权利要求1所述的轴承,其中所述延伸构件与所述外圈的侧面具有稍微的干涉配合。
3.根据权利要求1所述的轴承,其中所述延伸构件在其外侧面上具有构造成在所述内圈旋转时用于鼓风效应的径向突起。
4.根据权利要求1所述的轴承,其中所述延伸构件为橡胶材料。
5.根据权利要求1所述的轴承,其中所述延伸构件在其内侧面上具有构造成用于保持润滑剂的凹穴。
6.根据权利要求1所述的轴承,其中所述延伸构件偏移,以便接合所述内圈和所述外圈中的所述另一个的侧面的所述一部分。
7.根据权利要求1所述的轴承,其中当所述轴承静止时,所述延伸构件在所述轴承的内圈和外圈之间形成密封。
8.根据权利要求1所述的轴承,其中所述延伸构件在其内侧面和外侧面上具有加强支柱。
9.根据权利要求1所述的轴承,其中所述护圈具有轮毂,所述延伸构件安装在所述轮毂上。
10.一种轴承,包括:

11.根据权利要求10所述的轴承,其中所述延伸构件与所述外圈的侧面具有稍微的干涉配合。
12.根据权利要求10所述的轴承,其中所述延伸构件由橡胶材料形成。
13.根据权利要求10所述的轴承,其中所述延伸构件在其内侧面和外侧面上具有加强支柱。
