Description

用于容纳生物样本的袋子的制造
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于形成柔性袋子的方法、一种用于制造所述袋子的系统、以及所述袋子自身。更具体地说,本发明涉及容纳血液物质或任何生物或细胞物质的袋子。本发明尤其涉及在允许低温保藏的同时使袋内物质免受任何低温保藏损害作用的袋子。
背景技术
血液和细胞生物不耐热物质的保藏涉及极低温度下的存储。不耐热物质是受热容易改变或分解的物质。它们能被容纳在塑料材料的袋子中;然而,极低温度下的存储在塑料材料及它们的接头处形成应力,相应地,用于此目的的袋子必须满足严格的要求。
美国专利5,928,214描述了一种用于容纳生物液体样品尤其用于低温保藏这些样品的塑料材料袋子,所述袋子为由围绕密封周边边缘接合的面对的塑料薄膜所制成的类型。所述面对的塑料薄膜尤其是利用通过可热密封区域而彼此连通的若干室而限定用于容纳样品的容积。这种袋子是针对一种用于浓缩白血细胞来描述的,其中,容纳干细胞的袋子被分成通过热密封部限定的多个室,所述热密封部通过在所述分开位置处热密封而将干细胞冷藏袋分成两个紧密连接但又独立的白细胞容器。较大的主室保存大量白细胞,而较小的室用于存储小部分的白细胞,在不解冻的条件下,所述小部分的白细胞能从所述主室分离出来。
美国专利6,146,124、美国专利6,232,115及美国专利6,808,675分别描述了一种模具、一种用于低温保藏不耐热物质的袋子以及一种制造该袋子的方法。所述方法采用第一模具,第一模具具有入口形凹部和带有平表面的凹部,所述带有平表面的凹部具有与所述平表面外切的带圆角的周边以及与所述带圆角的周边相切的周边横档。塑料材料片材放置在第一模具上并被设置成顺从于模具的形状。随后,该成型的片材(形成袋子的一半壳体)被放置成面对类似成型的片材或平片材,且围绕周边通过高频密封而将这两个片材接合在一起。
由此,这种制造方法以三个不同步骤来进行:采用两个不同的模具单独预成形两张薄膜,一张薄膜一个模具;将两张成形薄膜以及连接器/管子定位;以及将袋子边界和所述连接器及管子密封。
这种方法允许制造具有三维形状的袋子,由此减少用于存储的空间。然而,这种方法需要采用前述的三个步骤,而且如果将要制造具有不同室的不同袋子,则需要不同的两构件模具。
通过将平薄膜折叠并通过接缝将周边接合,也能形成袋子。
用于制作平塑料袋子的标准方法是通过围绕两张平薄膜周边高频焊接来进行的。工具由两个基体构成,所述基体将薄膜的边界密封,且连接器和管子的密封包括在同一步骤中。这种程序是简单的,然而袋子保持二维形状且袋子的存储容量受限。由此,这不满足某些类型袋子的规格,所述某些类型袋子的规格要求装在特定保护盒子中的容积(例如具有低温存储用的25毫升容量)。因而,这种简单的方法不适用于必须具有给定容积的袋子。
发明内容
本发明涉及一种简化的制造尤其用于低温保藏不耐热液体的袋子的方法。所述制造方法通用、简单且便宜,并且所述制造方法允许在不改动模具的情况下制造单室袋和多室袋。此外,对于给定容积的任意袋子,在不改变主密封模具的情况下,袋子的室的尺寸和这些室的数量可进行修改。另外,所述方法可容易地适用于制造大范围的不同容积(例如10毫升-500毫升)的袋子。所述方法与标准高频密封方法兼容。所述方法提供了具有均匀壁厚和预定袋子容积的袋子。本发明获得具有基本同质横截面的袋子,从而容纳任何分子物质的袋子的厚度减少,当若干袋子放在一起保存时,这是极其有利的。
依据本发明的主要方面,提供了一种制造用于容纳生物样品尤其用于低温保藏这种样品的塑料材料袋子的方法,所述袋子为由塑料薄膜的相面对的间隔的层制成的类型,该塑料薄膜的相面对的间隔的层围绕密封周边边缘接合,由此面对间隔塑料层限定用于容纳样品的容积。
该创新性方法包括:首先将模制插件放置在塑料材料薄膜的两个叠置层之间,模制插件具有的形状、宽度及厚度对应于将成型的袋子的内部的形状、宽度及厚度。随后,将所述层成型为部分成型袋,部分成型袋的内部形状、宽度及厚度由模制插件限定。所述部分成型袋由间隔的层制成,所述间隔的层围绕所述袋子的部分周边通过接合边缘而闭合、并沿形成用于取出模制插件的开口的一侧留出敞开边缘。随后,围绕所述袋子的部分周边将部分成型袋的所述接合边缘密封,并在一侧留出前述开口,经由所述开口将模制插件从部分成型袋中取出,且沿开口将部分成型袋的所述间隔的层的所述敞开边缘合在一起。最后,将合在一起的边缘密封,以形成围绕袋子的基本整个周边通过密封的接合边缘而闭合的袋子。
优选地,所述叠置层通过折叠塑料材料薄膜来形成。然而,也可以采用一个叠置在另一个上的两张不同薄膜。
本发明还提供了一种用于依据上述方法制造袋子的模具以及模具与多个可互换的闭合密封工具的组合,该组合用于根据选择使袋子成型为一个内室或多个内室。
用于产生袋子整个自然形状的主密封模具与室的数量无关,从而所述主密封模具能针对最终袋子(一个或多个室)的不同构型而保持原样,仅是所述密封闭合工具必须依据所需的室的数量来变化。
这个新方法能用于制造不同最终容积(例如10-500毫升)的袋子,但在这种情况下,所述主模具必须针对各个不同袋子容量进行调整。

具体实施方式
本发明解决了上述问题。为了存储低温保藏袋,需要获得带有内置容积形状的袋子。本发明在于采用简单且通用的方法来制造这种袋子。
概括地,所述制造方法在于,在袋子三侧上通过高频进行标准密封之前将插件40定位在用于形成袋壁的一张折叠的薄膜10′、10″或两张平坦的平薄膜之间(图1)。
在图2中示出了插件40被导入在折叠薄膜10′、10″之间。插件40在袋子中产生自然容积并由此同时增大了标称容量。
随后,两个基体31、32围绕薄膜和插件40闭合,如图3所示。由于薄膜在无机械应变的情况下自然地顺从于插件形状的事实,所以在成型过程中不存在任何薄膜拉伸。这导致成品袋具有一致的壁厚,这对于低温存储期间耐受低温是重要的。
在密封期间采用的且处于大体平薄膜10′、10″之间的插件40提供了袋子的三维形状。这种几何形状为成品袋及已填充袋20提供了有效存储空间。随后,如图3所示启动密封过程。
在图4中能看到,一旦基体被重新打开,我们将获得具有内在容积的部分成型袋22。
第二步骤是将管子25及连接器26插入并利用标准高频方法密封袋子的第四侧,以形成如图5和图6所示的袋子20。
这解决了上面所述的空间和存储问题,因为袋子20的厚度将保持恒定,由此减少了袋子的厚度并节省了很大的存储地方。
与现有技术相比,本制造方法更为简单。为了在袋子中创建内置容积和三维形状,所述方法采用定位在插件40每一侧上的一张或两张大体平的薄膜,插件40具有合适的长度、宽度和厚度。随后,采用标准高频密封方法将袋子的三侧密封。
具体地,本发明的创新性方法可例如通过以下系列步骤来实施。
如图1所示,通过折叠塑料材料薄膜10形成的两个叠置层10′、10″被定位在主密封模具30的间隔开的下构件31和上构件32之间。如图2所示,模制插件40被放置在主密封模具30中且位于层10′、10″之间,模制插件40具有的形状、宽度及厚度对应于将成型的袋子的内部的形状、宽度及厚度。在所述模制插件的装配到主密封模具30的腔35中的可插入端部41上,插件40具有与袋子边缘的圆形形状相对应的圆形边缘42。
主密封模具30中的这个腔34对应于将制造成的袋子20的外部形状和尺寸。腔34围绕所述腔的部分周边(即围绕三侧)而闭合,所述腔的所述部分周边对应于将制造成的袋子的部分周边。这个腔34具有通向两个模具构件31、32的侧面的开口35。
模制插件40具有当两个模具构件31、32放置在一起时可插入端部41位于两个模具构件31、32之间的腔34中的插入位置。所述模制插件的这个端部41具有的形状和厚度对应于将在腔34中成型成的袋子20的内部形状和厚度,并且所述模制插件的这个端部41可在两个模具构件31、32被放置在一起时通过插入插件40而经由开口35横向插入到腔34中、且可在两个模具构件31、32间隔开时通过取出插件40而经由开口35从腔34中横向取出。
采用例如以柱子33示意性地示出的标准机械对准方法,将模具构件31、32定位,所述模具构件通过柱子33可滑动地安装在一起。通过将两个模具构件合在一起,如图3所示,层10′、10″成型为部分成型袋22,该部分成型袋22的内部形状、宽度及厚度由模制插件40来限定。部分成型袋22(参见图4)由塑料薄膜的间隔的层来构成,所述塑料薄膜的间隔的层围绕袋子周边的三个边缘通过接合边缘21而闭合、并沿形成用于取出模制插件40的开口24的一侧留出敞开边缘23。采用高频密封在两个模具构件31、32之间对部分成型袋22的在所述袋子周边的所述三个边缘周围的接合边缘21进行密封,并在一侧留出开口24,开口24将在后续操作中被密封。在图3中可以看到,将在后续操作中被密封的所述敞开边缘从闭合密封模具30的侧面突出。
经由开口24将模制插件40从部分成型袋22中取出,如图4所示。
随后,将部分成型袋22插入到图5的闭合密封工具50中,在该实例中,闭合密封工具50适于形成单室袋。闭合密封工具50具有带相面对的对应凹部54的下工具构件51和上工具构件52,所述相面对的对应凹部54用于接收插入到部分成型袋22中的前述开口24内的管子25、入口26或任何其他连接器。
所述闭合密封工具的上构件51和下构件52如前述一样采用例如以柱子33示意性地示出的标准机械对准方法来定位,上构件51和下构件52通过柱子33可滑动地安装在一起。这允许将这两个构件合在一起,如图5所示,以使部分成型袋22沿开口24的所述间隔的层的敞开边缘合在一起。随后,合在一起的边缘通过高频密封来密封,以形成围绕袋子的基本整个周边通过密封接合边缘21闭合的袋子、并且在管子/入口或连接器25/26的位置处留出孔口。在该实例中,周边密封边缘21围绕并限定单个内室28。
图7和图8示出了用于形成具有密封区域27的袋子20的特定密封闭合工具50,由此袋子20被分成在袋子的与所述沿开口24合在一起的边缘相对的边缘相邻的29处彼此连通的两个(或更多个)室28。为此,上工具构件51在用于形成密封区域27的位置处具有突出部55。当工具构件51、52合在一起时,这个突出部55将密封区域27的位置处的各塑料层压到一起。随后,沿开口24位置处以及突出部55的接合边缘处进行高频密封。
这样,采用主密封模具30制成的给定尺寸和形状的袋子能具有一个和/或所需数量的室28;且在不改变主密封模具30的情况下,各个室的相对尺寸可随意变化,这使得所述方法极为通用。
本发明还考虑通过孔口(25,26)向袋子20内填充样品,然后所述孔口被密封且袋子中的样品被冷藏。具体地,成品袋20可填充生物样品,随之通过将各薄膜的在所述多个室相连通的位置处的相面对的部分29密封在一起而将多室袋的多个室28相对于彼此密封。
通常,如所述的,袋子20整体为大致矩形形状,且第一密封步骤通过如下来进行,即沿矩形袋的三个侧边将部分成型袋22的接合边缘密封在一起,部分成型袋中的开口24通常沿矩形袋的长侧定位,用于管子25和连接器26的孔口位于所述长边上。

Claims (15)

1.一种制造用于容纳生物样品尤其用于低温保藏这种样品的塑料材料袋子(20)的方法,所述袋子为由塑料薄膜的相面对的间隔的层(10′,10″)制成的类型,塑料薄膜的所述相面对的间隔的层围绕密封周边边缘(21)进行接合,由此塑料薄膜的所述相面对的间隔的层限定用于容纳样品的容积,所述方法包括:
(a)将模制插件(40)放置在塑料材料薄膜的两个叠置层(10′,10″)之间,模制插件具有的形状、宽度及厚度对应于将成型成的袋子的内部的形状、宽度及厚度;
(b)将所述层成型为部分成型袋(22),该部分成型袋的内部形状、宽度及厚度由模制插件(40)限定,部分成型袋由间隔的层制成,所述间隔的层围绕所述袋子的部分周边通过接合边缘而闭合、并沿形成用于取出模制插件(40)的开口(24)的一侧留出敞开边缘(23);
(c)围绕袋子的部分周边将部分成型袋(22)的所述接合边缘(23)一起密封并在一侧留出所述开口(24);
(d)经由所述开口(24)将模制插件(40)从部分成型袋(22)中取出;
(e)沿所述开口(24)将部分成型袋(22)的所述间隔的层的所述敞开边缘(23)合在一起;以及
(f)将合在一起的边缘加以密封,以形成围绕基本袋子整个周边通过密封的接合边缘(21)而闭合的袋子(20)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:在密封之前,将至少一个入口(26)或管子(25)插入到所述间隔的层之间,以形成具有至少一个入口(26)或管子(25)的袋子(20),所述至少一个入口或管子形成位于袋子的一个边缘中的孔口。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其中,在步骤(d)中已取出模制插件(40)之后并且在所述敞开边缘(23)在步骤(e)及步骤(f)中被合在一起且被密封之前,将入口(26)和/或管子(25)沿所述开口(24)插入到所述间隔的层之间。
4.根据权利要求1、2或3所述的方法,其中,步骤(e)和步骤(f)被执行用以形成具有由周边密封边缘(21)限定的单个内室(28)的袋子。
5.根据权利要求1、2或3所述的方法,其中,在步骤(e)和步骤(f)期间,形成将所述袋子分成两个或更多个内室(28)的密封区域(27),所述两个或更多个内室在袋子(20)的与所述沿开口(24)合在一起的边缘相对的边缘相邻处彼此连通。
6.根据权利要求5所述的方法,所述方法还包括:向袋子(20)内填充样品,并通过将各薄膜在多个室连通的位置处的相面对的部分(29)密封在一起而将多个室(28)相对于彼此密封。
7.根据任一前述权利要求所述的方法,其中,袋子(20)整体上为大致矩形形状,且通过沿矩形袋子的三个侧边将部分成型袋的接合边缘密封在一起来执行步骤(c)。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中,所述开口沿着矩形袋子(20)的长边。
9.根据任一前述权利要求所述的方法,其中,袋子(20)的各边缘通过高频密封来密封。
10.根据任一前述权利要求所述的方法,其中,通过孔口(25,26)向袋子(20)内填充样品,所述孔口被密封且在所述袋子中的样品被冷藏。
11.根据任一前述权利要求所述的方法,包括采用模具(30),所述模具(30)包括:
-两个模具构件(31,32),它们能以相面对的关系被分隔开并且能被合在一起,两个模具构件当它们被放置在一起时在它们之间限定与将要制造成的袋子(20)的外部形状和尺寸对应的腔(34),这个腔(34)围绕所述腔的与将要制造成的袋子的部分周边对应的部分周边闭合,且所述腔具有通向两个模具构件(31,32)侧面中的开口(35);以及

12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其包括:
(a)将塑料材料薄膜的两个叠置层(10′,10″)放置在两个间隔开的模具构件(31,32)之间,将模制插件(40)定位在两个叠置层之间,将插件的端部(41)定位成与两个模具构件(31,32)中的所述腔(34)对准;
(b)将两个模具构件(31,32)合在一起,将模制插件(40)置于其在所述腔(34)内的插入位置,以使薄膜成型为部分成型袋(22),部分成型袋的外部厚度由围绕模制插件的插入端部(41)的腔(34)的尺寸来界定;
(c)将袋子的上述接合边缘加以密封;
(d1)将两个模具构件(31,32)分开;以及
(d2)将模制插件(40)从其插入位置移出并脱离在部分成型袋(22)中的接合。
13.根据任一前述权利要求所述的方法,其中,步骤(e)和步骤(f)执行为:通过采用合适的闭合密封工具(50),闭合并密封所述接合边缘并使袋子(20)成型为任选的一个室或多个室(28)。
14.一种用于依据任一前述要求所述的方法制造袋子的模具,所述模具包括:
-两个模具构件(31,32),其能以相面对的关系被分隔开并且能被合在一起,两个模具构件当它们被放置在一起时在它们之间限定与将要制造成的袋子(20)的外部形状和尺寸对应的腔(34),这个腔(34)围绕所述腔的与将要制造成的袋子的部分周边对应的部分周边闭合,且所述腔具有通向两个模具构件(31,32)横向面中的开口(35);以及

15.根据权利要求14所述的模具与多个可互换的闭合密封工具(50)的组合,用于根据选择使袋子(20)成型为一个内室或多个内室(28)。
