Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于将标签连接到基片上的设备或机器。在一方面,本发明涉及一种将标签机械地连接到基片上的设备,同时在另一方面,本发明涉及一种包括至少一个加热探头和至少一个包埋盒夹具组件的设备。在再一方面,本发明涉及使用该设备的方法。
背景技术
在识别领域普遍地使用标签。一种常见形式的标签包括:(i)中间层或基片层,例如膜、箔、以

为例的合成纸、或纸,(ii)提供识别的顶层或标记层,例如墨水、颜料等,以及(iii)用于将标签连接到物体表面的底层或粘合剂层。可以在标签上应用多种类型的粘合剂,例如压敏粘合剂(PSA)、热熔粘合剂等,但是由于PSA可以快速方便地将标签连接到物体上,因此PSA被广泛使用。
虽然带有PSA的标签使用方便,但是其并非没有局限性。例如,在恶劣环境下使用这种标签的价值有限。在高温(或极冷)、高压或低压、和/或暴露于各种溶剂的条件下,特别是长时间处在这些条件下时,PSA可能失去将标签结合到物体上的能力。
一种这样的情况是在为组织包埋盒(tissue cassette)提供识别的领域。组织包埋盒通常由热塑性材料制成,它们被设计为当样本受到脱水以及随后的蜡封处理时固定生物组织样本。脱水过程要求暴露到一定范围的溶剂中,例如福尔马林、酒精或二甲苯。然后脱水的样本被嵌入热的蜡中(例如熔化的石蜡)。这些过程可能持续几个小时,还可能包括暴露到热和真空。虽然可选用的PSA的范围很广,例如丙烯酸盐、黏性天然橡胶和合成橡胶、硅树脂和聚氨酯,但是没有一种PSA能够承受组织包埋盒通常暴露到的全部范围的条件。
因此,一般来说,PSA并不适合可靠地连接识别标签至组织包埋盒,为此,PSA也不适合可靠地连接识别标签至同样暴露到恶劣的环境条件的家用和工业过程容器,例如那些用于食品和乳品业的、或者那些用于储存危险材料的、或者那些用于低温储存的(在这种条件下,许多PSA失去其粘合性)容器。此外,在基片并没有暴露在恶劣的环境条件下、但是基片的表面太不光滑或者质地粗糙的条件下,PSA可能无法提供足够的粘合性从而保证基片与标签之间的良好粘合。
除了各种形式的粘合剂连接,各种形式的机械连接也是已知的。例如,钉、销和其他机械紧固件的使用是普遍的,虽然由于紧固件妨碍包埋盒的处理而存在问题。此外,标签和基片的设计和结构经常使其不能利用机械紧固件。
发明内容
在一个实施例中,本发明涉及一种用于永久地连接临时连接到基片上的标签的设备或机器,特别是将标签连接到组织贮藏盒上。在此使用的“临时连接”是指标签以如下方式定位在基片上,即标签充分定位从而可以在不存在标签偏移的情况下执行铆接操作(stakingoperation)。传统上,通过使用以压敏粘合剂(PSA)为例的适当的粘合剂来粘贴标签。“永久性连接”是指标签经过铆接操作之后被附于基片上,并且是以不物理破坏标签(例如撕裂)就不能除掉标签的形式被附于基片上。该设备包括铆接器组件和包埋盒夹具组件。在至少一个实施例中,铆接器组件包括:(i)探头板;(ii)支撑件;(iii)块组件(block assembly);(iv)下转动组件;以及(v)上转动组件。块组件包括:(vi)探头块,该探头块本身包括:(vi-a)烧灼探头,以及(vi-b)插入探头;(vii)加热器块;(viii)托架;以及(ix)弹簧板。包埋盒夹具组件包括:(x)包埋盒夹具;(xi)夹具板;以及(xii)夹钳组件。在至少一个实施例中,夹钳组件包括:(xiii)夹具夹钳;(xiv)夹钳控制杆;(xv)夹钳凸轮;(xvi)夹钳电机;以及(xvii)夹具销。在至少一个实施例中,铆接器组件还包括至少一个风扇、冷却机构和通风机构。在另一个实施例中,夹钳组件还包括枢轴臂。
将标签临时连接到包埋盒或其他基片上时,利用以PSA为例的适当的粘合剂将标签预定位在包埋盒上。手动或通过自动方式将包埋盒插入包埋盒夹具的槽中,从而包埋盒的标签支撑面的前边缘与夹具板的前表面接触。然后,利用夹钳组件通过启动夹具夹钳锁定包埋盒,从而包埋盒的标签支撑面被压靠在夹具板的前表面。烧灼探头和插入探头从探头支架延伸,并被预加热到所需的温度。标签与夹具板牢固接触后,使被加热的烧灼探头与标签接触,从而标签被烧出穿过孔。然后缩回烧灼探头,通过标签中的孔伸出插入探头。插入探头的截面小于烧灼探头,且长度大于烧灼探头。插入探头被推入包埋盒中,从而包埋盒的一部分被熔化并移动通过孔,从而该部分沿着延伸肩部表面延伸超过插入探头的截面和孔的截面,到达标签的表面上。移走插入探头时,熔化的被移动的基片在标签上固化为环带的形式,该环带牢固地连接标签至包埋盒。然后从夹具夹钳上释放包埋盒并从设备上移走包埋盒。

具体实施方式
如图1a1和1a2所示,铆接设备1用于永久性连接已经临时连接到由热塑性材料制成的组织包埋盒上的热塑性标签。本领域技术人员理解可以对该设备进行各种改变从而使标签和基片包含其他材料和设计。为简化附图,选择性地省略设备的各项,例如电连接、电路板、电源和附件等。以下描述不限制该设备的范围,而是特别指出几个实施例。此外,在全文中,相同的附图标记用于表示相同的部件。
铆接设备1包括将标签53结合至基片24的标签支撑面19的环带33(见图12c)。在本申请中引用的环带33被定义为已经熔化并移动到标签53的表面上然后又重新固化从而与下面的基片24连续的基片24。术语“环带”并不用于限制其尺寸或形状,虽然在以下描述的实施例中,环带33是环形的。

图1c1和1c2显示基片24的至少一个实施例,即本发明中讨论的示例性组织样本包埋盒15。图中所示的包埋盒15包括包埋盒上表面15a、包埋盒下表面15b、一对包埋盒侧表面15c、包埋盒后表面15d和标签支撑面19。组织样本包埋盒15具有各种尺寸和形状,本领域普通技术人员可以将该设备修改为任何形状或尺寸。图1c3显示替代的包埋盒前表面,其具有带有相邻的斜面19a的标签支撑面19。典型的组织包埋盒15的底部是平的,从而标签支撑面19与底部大约成45度角定位。因为包埋盒夹具组件4补偿各种角度,因此标签支撑面19相对于包埋盒下表面15b的角度可以显著变化,而不会带来影响。虽然所讨论的实施例参考了热塑性包埋盒材料,但是包埋盒15可以是当与加热的插入探头72接触时能够熔化并移动以便形成环带33的任何材料。
参考图2a,以分解形式显示了铆接器组件2和包埋盒夹具组件4的部件的至少一个实施例。在图2b和2c中以分解形式显示了铆接器组件2和包埋盒夹具组件4的部件的替代实施例。包埋盒夹具组件4设计为容纳并固定组织样本包埋盒15。在至少一个实施例中,包埋盒夹具组件4包括包埋盒夹具16,如图3a和3b所示,包埋盒夹具16由散热性良好的材料(例如铝)制成。参考图3a和3b,包埋盒夹具16具有位于其顶部的包埋盒槽20以及指向铆接器组件2的包埋盒夹具表面18。包埋盒槽20的形状能够容纳基本如图1c1-1c3所示的包埋盒15;槽20的宽度略微大于包埋盒15的宽度,从而槽20提供包埋盒15的自中心定位。此外,在未显示的至少一个替代实施例中,包埋盒夹具16具有宽度可调的槽,从而该槽可以容纳各种尺寸的包埋盒15。此外,在(未显示的)另一个替代实施例中,包埋盒夹具16可以被拆除并被分别具有不同的槽尺寸的其他包埋盒夹具16替换。
参考图3c和3d,在另一个实施例中,包埋盒夹具16还包括从包埋盒夹具表面18向内延伸的枢轴臂凹陷39(图3c),其中如图3d所示枢轴臂41a至少部分地位于枢轴臂凹陷39的内部。进一步参考图3d,枢轴臂41a由铰链机构41b、下部41c和具有枢轴凸起41e的上部41d构成。此外,如图3c所示,至少一个枢轴弹簧孔43从枢轴臂凹陷39向内延伸,从而枢轴弹簧45和弹簧帽47位于枢轴弹簧孔43中(如图4b、4c、5b和5c最佳显示)。枢轴弹簧45提供抵靠下部41c而远离枢轴臂凹陷39的推力。此外,在至少一个实施例中,包埋盒夹具16可以包括以红外传感器为例的包埋盒传感器35,以便当包埋盒15位于包埋盒槽20中时进行感测。
参考图4a-4c,在至少一个实施例中,包埋盒夹具组件4还包括夹具板22。由于包埋盒槽20优选地朝包埋盒夹具表面18向下倾斜,下倾斜角提供偏置位置以便将包埋盒15固定在夹具板22附近。夹具板22固定至包埋盒夹具表面18,从而当包埋盒15被插入包埋盒槽20中从而包埋盒底部15b抵靠包埋盒槽20的底部时,标签支撑面19的前边缘至少部分地邻接夹具板22(如图5a、5b和5c中显示的位置)。此外,夹具板22具有一对垂直定向的夹具板槽23(图4a-4c)。为了提供精确的对准公差,优选地,夹具板22具有一对销21(图4a、4b和4c),销21接合包埋盒夹具表面18中的一对配合孔25(图3b和3c),但是也可以使用其他对准方式。
参考图4d,在至少一个实施例中,夹具板22包括从底部开口22b向上延伸围绕至少一个夹具板槽23的板通道22a和至少一个探头隔离挡块22c。此外,夹具板22的背部22d还包括抽气孔22e和至少一个探头隔离挡块开口22f。此外,抽气孔22e与连接到冷却风扇10a的风扇管道12a连通,如图5b所示。可以操作冷却风扇10a,以便在铆接过程中通过夹具板22向上拉动空气并将空气排到铆接设备1的内部或外部,从而冷却铆接器组件2和包埋盒夹具组件4之间的接口。此外,在如图4c所示的夹具板22的替代实施例中,冷却风扇10b通过流动管道13(如图1b3所示)向外推动空气并将空气推入抽气孔22e中。通过一个或多个流动叶片61,外部空气被引导通过夹具板22。
参考图4a和4b,包埋盒夹具组件4包括具有夹具夹钳26的夹钳组件31、夹钳控制杆30、夹钳凸轮34、夹钳电机36和夹具销32。在另一个实施例中,夹钳组件31还包括枢轴臂41a。夹具夹钳26包括夹具夹钳臂27和夹钳接合部分28。在至少一个实施例中,夹钳接合部分28包括具有缺口的脊状凸起,其中脊可用作引导件。在另一个实施例中,夹钳接合部分28可以形成为延伸穿过夹具夹钳26的孔(图4c),其中独立的脊可用作引导件。夹具夹钳26可滑动地安装在包埋盒夹具16内的通道29中(图3b和3c),并且在垂直于包埋盒夹具表面18的基本水平的平面中移动。夹具销32铰链支撑具有电机端38和夹钳端40的夹钳控制杆30(图4a-4c和5a-5c)。夹钳控制杆30和夹具销32至少部分地位于包埋盒夹具16的内部。夹钳控制杆30的夹钳端40接合夹钳接合部分28。夹钳凸轮34连接至夹钳电机36,至少部分地在包埋盒夹具16外部接合夹钳控制杆30的电机端38。夹钳电机36优选为齿轮电机,但是可以预料各种类型的其他电机(例如步进电机或伺服电机)也能满足要求。虽然认为夹钳电机36是包埋盒夹具组件4的一部分,但是夹钳电机36优选地至少间接地安装在铆接器组件2上(图5a-5c)。
包埋盒夹具组件4的主要作用是在铆接过程中抵靠夹具板22放置并固定标签支撑面19。包埋盒15被放在包埋盒槽20内之后,启动铆接设备1。图5a、5b和5c显示了启动包埋盒夹具组件4之前包埋盒的固定位置,图6a、6b和6c显示了启动包埋盒夹具组件4之后完整的包埋盒15的固定位置。
参考图5a和6a,图5a显示在启动之前处于默认位置的设备,其包括位于槽20中的包埋盒15。一旦设备启动,夹钳电机36沿逆时针方向转动夹钳凸轮34,夹钳凸轮34再向下转动夹钳控制杆30的电机端38。由于转动点位于夹具销32处,夹钳控制杆30的电机端38的向下运动迫使夹钳端40基本上朝包埋盒夹具表面18运动,从而使接合的夹具夹钳26朝夹具板22滑动。在至少一个实施例中,在夹具夹钳臂27接合标签支撑面19的背面并迫使标签支撑面19抵靠在夹具板22上以后,夹钳电机36停止在接合偏置位置上。在该点,包埋盒15位于将被铆接的位置。
在其他实施例中,参考图5b、5c、6b和6c,滑动的夹具夹钳26通过夹具夹钳臂27至少间接地绕铰链机构41b转动邻近的枢轴臂上部41d,该转动逆向于推靠在枢轴臂下部41c的枢轴弹簧45的偏压。枢轴凸起41e接合标签支撑面19的背面并迫使标签支撑面19抵靠在夹具板22上以后,夹钳电机36停止在接合偏置位置上(如图6b所示)。这些夹钳机构为设备提供了允许包埋盒15与各种倾角的标签支撑面19接合的灵活性。
再次参考图2a-2c,铆接器组件2利用探头板44连接至包埋盒夹具组件4。如图2a-2c和5a-5c所示,包埋盒夹具组件4通过一对固定螺栓42连接到铆接器组件2上。固定螺栓42穿过包埋盒夹具16中的孔以及夹具板22,然后接合探头板44。探头板44优选地由散热性良好的材料制成,例如铝。在至少一个实施例中,参考图7a,探头板44包括位于垂直方向的探头板壁46、位于垂直于壁46的水平平面中的探头板底座48、以及至少部分地位于反向于包埋盒夹具组件4的方向中的从壁46垂直延伸的探头板支架50。探头板底座48包括至少一个支撑件(backstop)凸起槽57。
在至少一个实施例中,铆接器组件2包括用于安装和引导支架的探头板44和支撑件54、将标签53铆接到包埋盒15上的块组件52、移动块组件52至水平位置的下转动组件56、以及移动块组件52至垂直位置的上转动组件58。
参考图8a,在至少一个实施例中,块组件52包括探头块60,具有至少一个加热器管筒64的加热器块62(用于加热探头块60)、托架66(用于固定加热器块62和探头块60)、以及安装到托架66的弹簧板68。在其他实施例中,参考图8b和8c,块组件52可以进一步包括固定到探头块60的挡热板37和位于托架66与加热器块62之间的温度传感器69。
参考图8a-8c,探头块60包括为至少一个插入探头72以及至少一个烧灼探头74提供安装点的至少一个探头支架70。探头支架70还被配置为设置插入探头72将进入标签53的深度以及烧灼探头74将进入标签支撑表面19的深度。探头支架70优选地是垂直于探头块表面76的突出的凸起,探头块表面76上带有平的台肩表面78,插入探头72和烧灼探头74从台肩表面78延伸。此外,探头支架70可以具有从探头块表面76延伸的多个层,如图8b和8c所示。在至少一个实施例中,从探头块表面76的相对侧面延伸的两个线性探头隔离件80可以包括至少一个槽口77(图8b和8c),槽口77利用一对螺栓或其他固定装置将挡热板37固定到探头块表面76上。
参考图6a-6c和9a-9c,当块组件52朝包埋盒夹具16移动时(以便插入或烧灼标签53和包埋盒15),探头隔离件80接近夹具板22,在距离包埋盒夹具表面18理想的深度处停止块组件52。探头支架70至少部分地延伸穿过夹具板22,将插入探头72和烧灼探头74固定在插入位置或烧灼位置。插入探头72和烧灼探头74优选地是圆形,但是任何形状均可满足要求,例如正方形或六边形。烧灼探头74从探头支架70延伸一段短距离,并且具有较大的周长。插入探头72从探头支架70再延伸一段距离,并具有小于烧灼探头74的周长。烧灼探头74的短而宽的尺寸使得烧灼探头74在附于标签支撑面19上的标签53中产生较宽的孔,而较窄且较长的插入探头72避开标签53并插入标签支撑面19中,从而与标签53仅有最小接触或没有接触。
此外,探头块60具有块上挡块82和块下挡块84(图8a-8c)。如图6a-6c所示,当探头块60被至少一个垂直弹簧86固定在其上垂直位置时,块上挡块82接近探头板支架50的底部。如图9a-9c所示,当探头块60受到垂直向下的力从而抵抗垂直弹簧86的偏压时,块下挡块84接近探头板底座48的顶部;这提供了固定的垂直止动。探头块60优选地由单个的铜件形成,但是也可以将多个件固定在一起来形成探头块60。此外,也可以使用其他材料来形成探头块60,例如陶瓷。此外,为了使腐蚀减为最小,探头块60可以镀镍或镀银。
为了实现铆接过程,插入探头72和烧灼探头74被加热到足以熔化(而不烧灼)制成包埋盒15和标签53的材料的温度。在本实施例中,探头72、74被加热到大约相同的温度;而在另一个实施例中,插入探头72可以被加热到熔化包埋盒15的材料所需的温度。烧灼探头74可以被加热到熔化标签53的材料所需的单独的温度。热从加热器块62传递到探头72、74,其中探头72、74优选地由以铜为例的导热性良好的材料制成。参考图8a,在至少一个实施例中,加热器块62被配置为容纳至少一个加热器管筒64;加热器管筒64具有包含在其中的温度传感器(未显示)。但是在如图8b和8c所示的其他实施例中,加热器块62可以利用位于温度传感器槽75中的独立的温度传感器69。
参考图8a-8c,探头块60固定在加热器块62的一侧,其中一旦从铆接器组件2上拆除包埋盒夹具组件4即可容易地拆除一对螺栓。这允许在现场中简单快速地更换探头块60。加热器块62基本上位于托架66的内部。托架66被配置为基本上包围加热器块62的不与探头块60接触的部分。此外,托架66具有可容纳接合探头块60的配合槽及凹口的槽和凹口。托架66优选地为陶瓷,但是也可以使用绝缘性良好的其他材料。
参考图2a-2c,通过插过探头板底座48的底部并穿过托架66中的椭圆形孔71的探头杆67,托架66被部分地居中。探头杆67在其朝包埋盒夹具16水平移动(烧灼和插入位置)以及回到其静止位置(默认位置)时引导块组件52。此外,当探头杆67在烧灼位置和插入位置之间垂直移动时,探头杆67可用于引导块组件52。
在至少一个实施例中,弹簧板68由单件的成型弹簧钢制成,但是也可以使用其他材料和多个件。如图8a-8c所示,利用穿过弹簧板68和托架66并接合加热器块62的紧固件(例如螺栓),弹簧板68被固定在托架66上。弹簧板68具有基本上平行于托架66的上表面并位于该上表面以上的水平表面68a(也参见图5a-5c);该表面68a支撑至少一个垂直弹簧臂90。弹簧板68还具有基本上平行于托架66的背面的垂直表面68b(也参见图5a-5c);该表面68b支撑至少一个水平弹簧臂92。此外,弹簧板68被至少一个水平弹簧88和一个垂直弹簧86固定到支撑件54上(图5a-5c)。在至少一个实施例中,如图8a所示,弹簧板端部68c和68d都具有用于分别连接至水平弹簧88和垂直弹簧86的一端的水平弹簧孔94和垂直弹簧孔96。在如图8b和8c所示的其他实施例中,弹簧板68具有从弹簧板68延伸的一个垂直弹簧臂90和两个水平弹簧臂92;此外,弹簧板68具有一个水平弹簧孔94(见图5b和5c)和两个垂直弹簧孔96。此外,弹簧臂90、92可以形成自弹簧板68,或者固定到弹簧板68的各个表面68a、68b。此外,在至少一个实施例中,如图8c所示,垂直弹簧臂90可以与水平表面68a相同。
支撑件54还包围并支撑块组件52,如图5a-5c所示。参考图2a-2c,支撑件54包括用于接合探头板底座48中的至少一个支撑件凸起槽57的至少一个支撑件支撑凸起100、用于固定垂直弹簧86的一端的至少一个支撑件垂直凸起102、以及用于固定水平弹簧88的一端的至少一个支撑件水平凸起104。至少一个实施例包括如图2b和2c所示的连同一个水平弹簧88和两个垂直弹簧86的一个水平凸起104和两个垂直凸起102。此外,在至少一个实施例中,包括一对支撑件槽98从而为块组件螺栓55提供间隙(如图2a-2c所示)。通过将支撑件支撑凸起100插入支撑件凸起槽57中并利用至少一个支撑件螺栓59将支撑件54紧固到探头板支架50上,支撑件54被固定到探头板44上(如图5a-5c所示)。此外,在至少一个实施例中,可以在探头板支架50和支撑件54之间使用板隔离件117,以便为加入探头板延伸部49或者为电机托台99产生偏移(在图2b和2c中最佳显示)。
下转动组件56(图10a-10c)和上转动组件58(图11a和11b)分别用于水平和垂直地移动块组件52。参考图10a-10c,在至少一个实施例中,下转动组件56包括下电机106(优选为步进电机,但是也可以使用齿轮电机或伺服电机)、至少一个下凸轮组件108、至少一个下凸轮轴承110、和至少一个下凸轮传感器112。下凸轮组件108还可以包括由下凸轮传感器112监测的具有下凸轮盘槽口103的下凸轮盘111。
在至少一个实施例中,下电机106固定至探头板底座48的底部,下凸轮组件108固定至下电机106的轴,从而下凸轮轴承110位于水平弹簧臂92附近,如图5a所示。参考图10b,在另一个实施例中,探头板延伸部49可调节地固定至探头板底座48,其中下电机106固定至探头板延伸部49。探头板底座48具有至少一个延伸槽51,从而将探头板延伸部49可调节地固定至探头板底座48。此外,在如图10c所示的另一个实施例中,电机托台99被固定至探头板底座48,并且下电机106被固定至电机托台99。
在另一个实施例中,参考图10b和10c,下凸轮组件108还包括滑轮107和至少一个支撑轴承109。此外,参考图10b,下电机106固定至探头板延伸部49并具有固定至下电机106的轴的滑轮107。此外,两个下凸轮组件108通过它们的支撑轴承109固定至探头板底座48,从而它们的下凸轮轴承110位于水平弹簧臂92附近。另外,下电机106利用连接至所有三个滑轮107的驱动带113转动下凸轮组件108。参考图10c,在另一个实施例中,下电机106显示为固定至电机托台99,其中电机托台99进一步固定至探头板底座48。
参考图11a,上转动组件58包括上电机114(优选为步进电机,但是也可以使用齿轮电机或伺服电机)、插入传感器120、烧灼传感器122、以及包括上凸轮轴承118的上凸轮组件116。上电机114固定至支撑件54的侧面,其中带有热垫片115(图5a-5c)。上凸轮组件116固定至上电机114的轴,从而上凸轮118位于垂直弹簧臂90附近,如图5a-5c所示。此外,在至少一个实施例中,上凸轮组件116具有包括上凸轮盘槽口105的上凸轮盘119(图11a)。在另一个实施例中,如图11b所示,上凸轮盘119独立于上凸轮组件116安装,位于上电机114的轴的相对端。
参考图2a和2b,插入传感器120和烧灼传感器122彼此相对安装,从而当插入传感器120感测到上凸轮盘槽口105时,上凸轮组件116所处的位置使得突出部向下推动垂直弹簧臂90(如图9a-9c所示),而当烧灼传感器122感测到上凸轮盘槽口105时,上凸轮组件116所处的位置使得突出部不向下推动垂直弹簧臂90(默认或烧灼位置)(图6a-6c)。这些位置与处理器通信。在一个实施例中,插入传感器120和烧灼传感器122安装至支撑件54(图6a和6b),但是在另一个实施例中,插入传感器120和烧灼传感器122至少间接固定至上电机144(图6c)。
通过靠近底座5安装的集成电路板(未示出)上的处理器来监测和控制铆接器设备1的电部件。诸如按钮的过程启动开关可以被本地安装在前盖8上或者被远程安装。为了在包埋盒15上铆接标签53,用户通常将通过压敏粘合剂将标签53定位在标签支撑面19上。可以手动或自动完成标签53的定位。然后用户将包埋盒15插入包埋盒槽20中,使标签支撑面19指向下方,从而标签支撑面19接近夹具板22(图5a-5c)。还可以自动完成包埋盒15的插入。
一旦包埋盒15被插入,包埋盒传感器35显示包埋盒15的存在,并将信息传送至处理器。当处理器接收到包埋盒15位于槽20中的信号后(手动或自动),处理器命令夹钳电机36转动夹钳凸轮34,从而接合夹钳控制杆30,夹钳控制杆30接合并朝夹具板22滑动夹具夹钳26。在至少一个实施例中,夹具夹钳臂27接合标签支撑面19的背面并将标签支撑面19压靠在夹具板22上(图6a)。在另一个实施例中,夹具夹钳26的滑动将夹具夹钳臂27推靠在枢轴臂41a的上部41d,从而绕铰链机构41b转动上部41d并将相连的枢轴凸起41e移动到接合标签支撑面19的背面的位置,从而紧靠夹具板22移动标签支撑面19
(图6b和6c)。一旦标签支撑面19紧靠夹具板22,夹钳电机36就被停转(如果是齿轮电机)或者定位(如果是步进电机),从而保持夹钳控制杆30上的压力,将标签支撑面19牢固地定位直到过程结束。
为了将标签53铆接到包埋盒15上,烧灼探头72和插入探头74必须被加热到足以熔化标签53和标签支撑面19的材料的温度。为了加热探头74、72,在至少一个实施例中,通过处理器启动加热器管筒64,并通过处理器通过集成的温度传感器监测加热器管筒64的温度,但是另一个实施例可以使用独立的温度传感器69。根据被铆接的材料在处理器中预编程预设的温度。加热器管筒64加热安装至探头块60的高导电性加热器块62。探头块60加热探头支架70以及烧灼探头74和插入探头72至所需的温度。该加热过程可以发生在包埋盒15被插入之前,或者发生在铆接过程已经被启动之后。
当烧灼探头74和插入探头72被加热并且包埋盒15被定位后,铆接过程开始。参考图5a-5c,铆接器组件2显示为处于默认位置,其中块组件52被垂直弹簧86垂直地向上偏压,弹簧板68a的上表面紧靠探头板支架50的底部,块上挡块82紧靠探头板壁46,且垂直弹簧臂90邻近上凸轮轴承118。此外,块组件52还被至少一个水平弹簧88偏压到向后的位置中,使得弹簧板68b的背面倚靠支撑件54,并且至少一个水平弹簧臂92接近至少一个下凸轮轴承110。
为了铆接标签53,包埋盒夹具组件4将标签支撑面19紧靠夹具板22固定(包埋盒15按图6a-6c所示定位)。铆接器组件2移动到烧灼位置,如图6a-6c所示;这包括向前朝夹具板22移动块组件52。处理器首先通过烧灼传感器122验证在移动块组件52之前,上凸轮组件116位于烧灼位置(在垂直弹簧臂90上没有上凸轮组件116的力)。然后,在至少一个实施例中,处理器启动下电机106推进至少一个下凸轮组件108从如图5a-5c所示的默认位置(低突出部)前进到如图6a-6c所示的烧灼位置(高突出部)。当下凸轮盘槽口103与下凸轮传感器112对齐时,下凸轮传感器112感测默认位置。此外,当下凸轮组件108位于烧灼位置时,下凸轮轴承110被推靠至至少一个水平弹簧臂92,从而迫使块组件52抵抗水平弹簧88的偏压向前运动。随着烧灼探头74前行通过夹具板槽23并通过标签53,块组件52向前运动,直到探头隔离件80接近夹具板22。烧灼所需的深度取决于标签53的深度,并可以通过增大或减小探头隔离件80的高度按需要来调节。图12a显示烧灼探头74位于相对于标签53和包埋盒15的烧灼位置。一旦预编程的烧灼时间(探头温度和标签材料的系数)终止,处理器即命令下电机106将下凸轮组件108转回到默认位置,解除至少一个水平弹簧臂92上的力并允许块组件52在至少一个水平弹簧88的偏压下向后运动,使块组件52回到默认位置。
为了完成铆接过程,块组件52从默认位置运动到插入位置,如图9a-9c所示。该位置涉及块组件52的垂直运动和水平运动。为了获得插入位置,处理器启动上电机114,从而使上凸轮组件116的突出部前进到插入位置(高突出部位置),如图9a-9c所示。当上凸轮盘槽口105与插入传感器120对齐时,处理器感测插入位置。当上凸轮组件116位于插入位置时,上凸轮轴承118被推靠至垂直弹簧臂90,迫使块组件52抵抗垂直弹簧86的偏压向下运动。块组件52被上凸轮组件116向下移动,直到块下挡块84接近探头板底座48;该位置保证插入探头72所在的垂直位置与烧灼探头74在烧灼位置时相同。该对齐是必须的,因为插入探头72通过标签53的烧灼孔进入标签支撑面19。
建立垂直插入位置之后(优选地通过插入传感器120),可以初始化水平插入定位。插入水平定位与烧灼水平定位相同,使得下电机106和至少一个下凸轮组件108朝夹具板22前移块组件52。插入探头72穿过夹具板槽23并穿过标签53中的烧灼孔,并被推入标签支撑面19中(图9a-9c)。插入探头72进入标签支撑面19中的深度由接近夹具板22的探头隔离件80确定。插入探头72熔化标签支撑面19的材料所需的时间量取决于探头72的温度和标签支撑面19的材料的熔点。在铆接之前计算必需的时间并将其预输入处理器中。当插入探头72熔化到标签支撑面19中时,熔化的塑料朝探头支架70流出,特别是朝台肩表面78流出。当熔化的塑料接近台肩表面78时,其被迫向外流动远离插入探头72并流过标签53,形成如图12b和12c所示的环带33的形状。当预定时间终止时,处理器命令下电机106转动至少一个下凸轮组件108至默认位置,从而解除至少一个水平弹簧臂92和块组件52上的向前压力,允许水平弹簧88偏压以便使块组件52返回其默认水平位置。然后,处理器命令上电机114转动上凸轮组件116至默认位置,从而解除垂直弹簧臂90和块组件52上的向下压力,允许垂直弹簧86偏压以便使块组件52返回其默认垂直位置。图12c显示插入探头72缩回之后完全形成的环带33。在至少一个实施例中,环带33包括颈部124,颈部124由包埋盒材料构成并从包埋盒15延伸穿过由烧灼探头74生成的标签孔125,然后从该孔径向向外逐渐变细,以便形成至少部分地位于标签53上的肩部126。
一旦铆接过程结束,处理器即命令夹钳电机36反向,从而远离包埋盒15滑动夹具夹钳26。在至少一个实施例中,这使夹具夹钳臂27远离包埋盒15,从而允许标签支撑面19从夹具板22释放。在另一个实施例中,远离包埋盒15而移动夹具夹钳26使得枢轴臂凸起41e远离标签支撑面19移动(借助于紧靠枢轴臂41a的下部41c的至少一个枢轴弹簧45),从而释放标签支撑前面19并可以拆除包埋盒15。
铆接过程的任何部分,包括组件和子组件的各种运动,均可以手动或自动完成。包埋盒的插入和拆除也可以自动完成。
设备的一个实施例(未显示)不包括烧灼探头74,且需要带有相关硬件的上转动组件58以垂直方式移动块组件52。该过程将只涉及水平运动,且插入探头72将向前进入标签支撑面19中,在必要的时间内烧灼标签53。标签53被烧灼之后,插入探头72将进一步前进到标签支撑面19中,并执行插入操作。插入动作结束后,探头72将被移走,过程结束。

1.一种用于永久性连接临时连接到基片(24)上的标签(53)的铆接设备(1),该设备(1)包括:用于将带有临时连接的标签(53)的基片(24)固定至设备(1)的包埋盒夹具组件(4),该包埋盒夹具组件(4)操作性地与用于永久性连接标签(53)至基片(24)的铆接器组件(2)组合。

e、利用所述下转动组件(56)缩回所述第一探头(74),
f、利用所述下转动组件(56)和所述上转动组件(58)推进第二探头(72),从而所述第二探头(72)熔化所述包埋盒(15)的一部分并迫使熔化的材料流出所述孔并沿着肩部表面(78)流到所述标签(53)上,
g、利用所述下转动组件(56)和所述上转动组件(58)缩回所述第二探头(74),
h、通过释放所述夹钳组件(31)从所述设备(1)上解锁所述包埋盒(15),以及
i、通过手动或自动方式从所述设备(1)上移走所述包埋盒(15)。
19.一种用于永久性连接临时连接到基片(24)上的标签(53)的铆接器组件(2),所述铆接器组件(2)包括块组件(52),其中块组件(52)包括用于将标签(53)铆接至固定基片(24)的一个或多个被加热的凸起(72,74)。
20.如权利要求19所述的铆接器组件(2),还包括用于定位块组件(52)以便将所述标签(53)铆接至所述基片(24)的上转动组件(58)和下转动组件(56)。

22.如权利要求21所述的铆接器组件(2),还包括用于冷却所述夹具板(22)的冷却机构(17),和用于过滤铆接过程中产生的蒸汽的通风机构(7)。
