技术领域
本发明总地涉及凹入式(recessed)照明设备,并且更具体地,涉及用于凹入式照明设备的发光二极管下射灯(downlight)罐状容器装置(can fixture)。
背景技术
照明设备是一种用于产生、控制和/或分布照明用光的系统。例如,照明设备可以包括将光输出或者分布到环境中由此允许该环境中的某些物体可见的系统。照明设备通常被称为“灯具”。

发明内容
本发明提供具有LED光源的凹入式灯具。所述灯具包括其内安装有LED模块的壳体或“罐状容器”。所述LED模块包括单个LED封装件,所述单个LED封装件产生所述凹入式灯具所发射的所有光或基本所有光。例如,所述LED封装件可以包括一个或更多个安装到公共基底的LED。每个LED是被配置为耦合到所述基底的LED管芯或LED元件。所述LED可以排列成任何多种不同的结构。例如,所述LED可以排列成直径小于两英寸的圆形区域,或长度小于两英寸并且宽度小于两英寸的矩形区域。

在某些示例性实施方案中,石膏框架110包括一般为圆形的开孔110c,所述开孔110c被定尺寸来通过其接纳罐状容器115的至少一部分。罐状容器115通常包括基本为圆丘形的构件,所述构件被配置为接纳包括至少一个LED光源(未示出)的LED模块(未示出)。开孔110c为LED光源提供照明通道。得益于本公开内容的本领域普通技术人员将认识到,在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中,开孔110c可以具有与罐状容器115的外轮廓对应的另一种非圆形形状。
图3-8图示图1的凹入式灯具100的示例性LED模块300。示例性LED模块300可以被配置来安装在图1的灯具100的罐状容器115内。LED模块300包括安装到散热器310的LED封装件305。LED封装件305可以直接安装到散热器310,或者与安装在LED封装件305和散热器310之间的一个或更多个其他部件一起安装。
LED封装件305包括一个或更多个安装到公共基底306的LED。基底306包括一片或更多片陶瓷、金属、压层、电路板、聚酯薄膜或另一种材料。每个LED包括半导体材料芯片,所述半导体材料芯片被处理以创建正-负(“p-n”)结。当LED封装件305电气耦合到电源(例如驱动器315)时,电流从每个结的正的一侧流动到负的一侧,导致电荷载流子以非相干光的形式释放能量。
所发射光的波长或颜色取决于用于制造LED封装件305的材料。例如,蓝色或紫外LED可以包括氮化镓(“GaN”)或氮化镓铟(“InGaN”),红色LED可以包括铝砷化镓(“AlGaAs”),而绿色LED可以包括铝磷化镓(“AlGaP”)。每一LED封装件305中的LED可以产生相同或不同颜色的光。例如,LED封装件305可以包括一个或更多个白色的LED和一个或更多个非白色的LED,例如红色的、黄色的、琥珀色的或蓝色的LED,以调整从灯具100发射的光的色温输出。黄色或多彩色的磷光体可以以涂敷或其他方式用于蓝色或紫外LED中,以创建实质匹配黑体辐射的蓝移和红移光。所发射光对于人类观察者来说近似或仿真“白色的”白炽光。在某些示例性实施方案中,所发射光包括略似蓝色、绿色、红色、黄色、橙色或一些其他颜色或色彩的基本上的白光。在某些示例性实施方案中,从LED封装件305中的LED发射的光具有在2500和5000开氏度之间的色温。
在某些示例性实施方案中,光学上透射性的或者明澈的材料(未示出)在其中包封LED封装件305的至少一部分和/或每个LED。该包封性材料在从LED透射光的同时提供环境保护。例如,该包封性材料可以包括保形涂层、硅酮凝胶、固化/可固化聚合物、粘合剂或一些其他的得益于本公开内容的本领域普通技术人员已知的材料。在某些示例性实施方案中,磷光体涂敷在该包封性材料上或分散在该包封性材料中,以创建白光。在某些示例性实施方案中,所述白光具有在2500和5000开氏度之间的色温。
在某些示例性实施方案中,LED封装件305包括一个或更多个LED阵列,所述LED阵列被共同配置为在直径小于两英寸的区域或长度小于两英寸且宽度小于两英寸的区域中产生从1流明到5000流明的流明输出。在某些示例性实施方案中,LED封装件305是Citizen Electronics有限公司制造的CL-L220封装件、CL-L230封装件、CL-L240封装件、CL-L102封装件或CL-L190封装件。通过使用单个相对紧凑的LED封装件305,LED模块300在灯具内占据较小体积的源中具有一个光源,该一个光源产生相当于各种灯类型(例如白炽灯)的流明输出。虽然在图7和8在被图示为包括排列成基本为方形几何图形的LED,但是得益于本公开内容的本领域普通技术人员将认识到LED可以排列成任何的几何图形。例如,在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中LED可以排列成圆形或矩形几何图形。
LED封装件305中的LED通过一个或更多个焊接接头、插销、环氧或跨接线和/或其他用于将电气/光学设备安装到表面的装置附接到基底306。类似地,基底306通过一个或更多个焊接接头、插销、环氧或跨接线和/或其他用于将电气/光学设备安装到表面的装置安装到散热器310的下表面310a。例如,基底306可以通过两部分北极银环氧(arctic sliverepoxy)安装到散热器310。
基底306电连接到用于向LED封装件305供应电能和控制的支持电路(未示出)和/或驱动器315。例如,一条或更多条导线(未示出)可以将基底306的相对端耦合到驱动器315,由此完成驱动器315、基底306和LED之间的电路。在某些示例性实施方案中,驱动器315被配置为单独地控制LED的一个或更多个部分来调整光的颜色或强度。
作为将电转换为光的副产品,LED产生大量的热,如果该热被允许积累的话会提高LED的操作温度。这样可能导致LED的效率降低和过早失效。散热器310被配置为管理LED封装件305中的LED所输出的热。特别地,散热器310被配置为即使灯具100安置在绝缘天花板环境中也将热从LED传导开去。散热器310由任何被配置为传导热和/或使热对流的材料构成,例如压铸金属。
图9是示例性散热器310的立体横截面顶视图。图10图示对示例性散热器310在运转中的热扫描。参照图3-10,散热器310的下表面310a包括具有突出中心件310c的基本上为圆形的构件310b,LED封装件305安装在所述突出中心件310c上。在某些示例性实施方案中,中心件310c包括两个切口310d,所述切口310d为在驱动器315和基底306末端之间延伸的导线(未示出)提供通道。在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中,可以包括三个或更多个切口310d来为导线提供通道。在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中,下表面310a可以仅包括单个相对平坦的构件而没有任何突出中心件310c。
鳍311从散热器310的下表面310a基本垂直地朝其顶端310e延伸。鳍311围绕散热器310的基本中心芯905隔开。芯905是至少部分由导电材料构成的构件。芯905可以具有任何多种不同的形状和结构。例如,芯905可以是具有基本为圆柱形或其他形状的实心或非实心构件。每个鳍311包括弯曲的辐状部分311a和基本直的部分311b。在某些示例性实施方案中,辐状部分311a基本上彼此对称并且直接从芯905延伸。在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中,辐状部分311a不是彼此对称。每个直的部分311b从其相应的辐状部分311a基本上沿着辐状部分311a的切线朝散热器310的外缘310f延伸。
辐状部分311a的半径和长度以及直的部分311b的长度可以基于散热器310的尺寸、LED模块300的尺寸以及LED模块300的热散逸要求改变。仅以实施例的方式,散热器310的一个示例性实施方案可以包括鳍311,所述鳍311具有半径为1.25英寸长度为2英寸的辐状部分311a,以及长度为1英寸的直的部分311b。在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中,一些或所有鳍311可以不包括辐状部分311a和直的部分311b两者。例如,鳍311可以整个是直的或整个是辐状的。某些另外的可替换示例性实施方案中,散热器310的下表面310a可以不包括圆形构件310b。在这些实施方案中,LED封装件305直接耦合到芯905而不是耦合到圆形构件310b。
如图10中图示的,散热器310被配置为使热沿着从LED封装件305经过散热器下表面310a并且经由芯905到鳍311的热转移路径从LED封装件305散逸。鳍311接纳传导的热并且经由对流将传导的热转移到周围环境(通常是灯具100的罐状容器115中的空气)。例如来自于LED罐状容器的热可以沿着从LED封装件305到芯905、从芯905到鳍311的辐状部分311a、从鳍311的辐状部分311a到其相应直的部分311b并且从相应直的部分311b到周围环境的路径转移。热还可以通过对流直接从芯905和/或鳍311转移到鳍311之间的一个或更多个间隙。
在某些示例性实施方案中,反射体壳体320耦合到散热器310的下表面310a。本领域普通技术人员将认识到,在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中,反射体壳体320可以耦合到LED模块300或灯具100的另一部分。图11图示示例性反射体壳体320。参照图3-8和11,反射体壳体320包括具有顶端320b和底端320c的基本圆形构件320。每个端320b和320c分别包括开孔320ba和320ca。沟道320d延伸通过反射体壳体320并连接开孔320ba和320ca。
顶端320b包括围绕沟道320d的至少部分设置的基本为圆形的上表面320bb。上表面320bb包括一个或更多个能够接纳紧固件的洞320bc,所述紧固件将反射体壳体320固定到散热器310。每个紧固件包括螺丝、钉子、搭扣、夹、销或其他得益于本公开内容的本领域普通技术人员已知的紧固装置。在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中,反射体壳体320不包括洞320bc。在那些实施方案中,反射体壳体320与散热器310一体形成或经由不要求用于紧固的洞的手段(诸如胶或粘合剂)固定到散热器310。在某些示例性实施方案中,反射体壳体320被配置为充当用于将热从LED传导开去的辅助散热器。例如,反射体壳体320可以通过将冷空气经由一个或更多个脊321从灯具100底部朝LED封装件305对流来帮助热散逸。
反射体壳体320被配置为接纳由这样的材料构成的反射体1205(图12),其用于反射、折射、透射或漫反射LED封装件305所发射的光。术语“反射体”在本文中被用来指被配置为充当灯具中的光学器件的任何材料,包括被配置为反射、折射、透射或漫反射光的任何材料。图12是根据某些示例性实施方案,被插入反射体壳体320的沟道320d的示例性反射体1205的透视侧视图。参照图3-8、11和12,当反射体1205安装在反射体壳体320中时,反射体1205的外侧表面1205a沿着反射体壳体320的相应内表面320e设置。在某些示例性实施方案中,反射体1205的顶端1205b邻接光耦合器330的边缘表面330a,所述光耦合器330安装到上表面320bb的下缘310a。在下面参照图20更详细地描述了反射体1205。光耦合器330包括被配置为覆盖基底306处电连接的构件,以允许在LED封装件305和反射体1205之间的几何公差并引导LED封装件305所发射的光。光耦合器330和/或应用于光耦合器330的材料可以是在光学上折射性的、反射性的、透射性的、镜面的、半镜面的或漫反射性的。在下面参照图17-19更详细地描述了光耦合器330。
反射体壳体320的底端320c包括延伸远离沟道320d的下表面320ca,围绕该沟道320d形成基本环形的圈。表面320ca包括槽320cb,每个槽320cb被配置为接纳来自于调整环1305(图13)的相应凸起1305a。图13图示被对准以与反射体壳体320一起安装的调整环1305的部分。参照图3-8和11-13,在每个槽320cb附近,表面320ca包括倾斜表面320cc,所述倾斜表面320cc使得能够经由曲折策略在反射体壳体320上安装调整环1305。具体地,可以通过将每个凸起1305a与其相应的槽320cb对准并且使调整环1305相对于反射体壳体320曲折来安装调整环1305,以便每个凸起1305a将其相应倾斜表面320cc沿着下表面320ca上移到较高位置。每个倾斜表面320cc具有沿着壳体320周长缓慢增长的高度。
该调整环1305为灯具100提供在审美上令人喜爱的框架。调整环1305可以具有任何多种颜色、形状、纹理和结构。例如,调整环1305可以是白色的、黑色的、金属色的或另一颜色的,并且还可以具有薄的轮廓、厚的轮廓或中等的轮廓。调整环1305将反射体1205维持在反射体壳体320内。具体来说,当反射体1205和调整环1305安装在灯具100中时,反射体1205的底端1205b的至少部分靠在调整环1305的上表面1305b上。
现在参照图3-8,支架325将扭力弹簧340耦合到散热器310的相对侧表面310f。支架325包括顶部构件325a和相对的细长侧部构件325b,所述细长侧部构件325b从顶部构件325a基本垂直地朝反射体壳体320c的底端320c延伸。支架325经由一个或更多个螺丝、钉子、搭扣、夹、销和/或得益于本公开内容的本领域普通技术人员已知的其他紧固装置耦合到散热器310。
每个侧部构件325b包括开孔325c,所述开孔325c被配置为接纳用于将扭力弹簧340之一安装到散热器310的铆钉325d或其他紧固装置。每个扭力弹簧340包括相对的支架端340a,所述支架端340a插入灯具100的罐状容器115中的相应槽(未示出)内部。为了将LED模块300安装到罐状容器115中,支架端340a被挤到一起,LED模块300滑入罐状容器115,并且支架端340a与所述槽对准且随后被释放,从而支架端340a进入所述槽。
安装支架335经由一个或更多个螺丝、钉子、搭扣、夹、销和/或得益于本公开内容的本领域普通技术人员已知的其他紧固装置耦合到散热器310的顶部构件325a和/或散热器310的顶端。安装支架335包括基本为圆形的顶部构件335a和突出的侧部构件335b,所述侧部构件335b从顶部构件335a基本垂直地朝反射体壳体320的底端320c延伸。在某些示例性实施方案中,安装支架335具有与罐状容器115内轮廓基本上对应的轮廓。该轮廓允许当LED模块300被安装在灯具100中时安装支架335在罐状容器115中创建接线盒(或“j-盒”)。具体来说,如在下面参照图14更详细地描述的,当LED模块300被安装时,在安装场点处的灯具100和电气系统(未示出)之间的电气接线可以设置在安装支架335和罐状容器115(接线盒)顶端之间的基本上被包围的空间内。
在某些示例性实施方案中,驱动器315和爱迪生灯帽座支架345安装到安装支架335顶部构件350a的上表面350c。可替换地,驱动器315可以设置在灯具100中的或远离灯具100的另一位置。如在上面阐述的,驱动器315向LED封装件305供应电能和控制。如在下面参照图14-16更详细地描述的,爱迪生灯帽座支架345是被配置为在对现有非LED灯具中LED模块300的改装安装中接纳爱迪生灯帽座1505(图15-16)和爱迪生灯帽适配器1520(图15-16)的支架。该支架345允许LED模块300安装在新构造和改装应用两者中。在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中,为了新构造安装,可以移除支架345。
图14是根据某些示例性实施方案图示用于在现有非LED灯具中安装LED模块300的方法1400的流程图。图15和16是示例性爱迪生灯帽适配器1520和经由爱迪生灯帽适配器1520连接到现有非LED灯具的爱迪生灯帽座1505的LED模块300的视图。该示例性方法1400是图示说明性的,并且在本发明可替换的实施方案中,某些步骤是可以以不同次序、彼此并行地执行或被完全省略,和/或可以执行某些另外的步骤而不偏离本发明的范围和精神。在下面参照图3-8和14-16描述方法1400。
在步骤1410,进行调查以决定LED模块300在现有灯具中的安装是否遵循日期为2005年10月1日、标题为“居住和非居住建筑物的能效标准”的加利福尼亚规范汇编的24小节。遵循24小节的安装要求在现有灯具中移除爱迪生灯帽座1505。不需要遵循24小节的安装不要求移除爱迪生灯帽座1505。
如果安装不是遵循24小节的,则遵循“否”支流到步骤1415。在步骤1415,释放来自于现有灯具的爱迪生灯帽座1505。例如,可以通过将插座1505从现有灯具的盘移除来释放爱迪生灯帽座1505。在步骤1420,将爱迪生灯帽适配器1520螺接入爱迪生灯帽座1505。爱迪生灯帽适配器1520经由现有灯具的插座1505和/或经由连接到插座1505的导线将LED模块300的驱动器315电气耦合到现有灯具的电源,如下面参照步骤1455-1460描述的。
在步骤1425,将连线1530从LED模块300插塞入爱迪生灯帽适配器1520。例如可以将来自于驱动器315的一个或更多个快速连接或插塞式连接器350插塞入爱迪生灯帽适配器1520。可替换地,可以在无需从驱动器到爱迪生灯帽适配器1520的连接器的情况下连接导线。在步骤1430,将爱迪生灯帽适配器1520和插座1505安装到LED模块300上的安装支架335。例如,可以将爱迪生灯帽适配器1520和插座1505搭扣、滑动、或曲折到安装支架335上的爱迪生灯帽座支架345上,和/或可以使用一个或更多个螺丝、钉子、搭扣、夹、销和/或其他紧固装置来将爱迪生灯帽适配器1520和插座1505安装到爱迪生灯帽座支架345和/或安装支架335。
在步骤1435,挤压扭力弹簧340,以便每个扭力弹簧340的支架端340a朝彼此移动。在步骤1440,将LED模块300滑入现有灯具的罐状容器115,将支架端340a与罐状容器115中的槽对准,并且释放支架端340a以将支架端340a安装在罐状容器115内。在步骤1445,将任何裸线(未示出)导入现有灯具并推动LED模块300与天花板表面齐平。
返回步骤1410,如果该安装是遵循24小节的,则遵循“是”支流到步骤1450,在此切割现有灯具中的导线以从现有灯具移除爱迪生灯帽(包括爱迪生灯帽座1505)。在步骤1455,切割爱迪生灯帽适配器1520上的导线1520a,以移除所述适配器1520上的爱迪生螺接插头1520b。在步骤1460,将导线1520a从爱迪生灯帽适配器1520连接到现有灯具中的导线(未示出),并将连线1530从LED模块300插塞入所述适配器1520上的连接器1520c。这些连接完成安装场点处电源、爱迪生灯帽适配器1520和LED模块300之间的电路,而无需使用爱迪生灯帽座1505。在步骤1465,基本上如上面关于步骤1430描述的,将爱迪生灯帽适配器1520安装到LED模块300上的安装支架335。
如在上面阐述的,安装支架335具有与罐状容器115的内轮廓基本对应的轮廓。当LED模块300被安装在灯具100中时,该轮廓允许安装支架335通过基本包围安装支架335和罐状容器115顶部之间的空间来在罐状容器115中创建接线盒(或“j盒”)。具体来说,当LED模块300被安装时,导线1530之间的电气接线、驱动器315、爱迪生灯帽适配器1520、在取决于安装是否是遵循24小节的情况下还有插座1505可以设置在安装支架335和罐状容器115顶部之间该基本被包围的空间内。
图17和18是根据某些示例性实施方案的LED模块300的光耦合器330的视图。参照图17和18,光耦合器330包括覆盖基底306处电连接的折射、反射、透射、镜面、半镜面或漫反射构件,以允许在反射体1205和LED封装件305中的LED之间的几何公差,并引导LED所发射的光。
在某些示例性实施方案中,光耦合器330包括具有上表面330ba和下表面330bb的中心件330b。每个表面330ba和330bb分别包括开孔330ca和330cb。开孔330ca和330cb彼此平行,并且基本设置在中心件330b的中心。侧部构件330bc限定延伸通过中心件330b并且连接开孔330ca和330cb的沟道330d。在某些示例性实施方案中,侧部构件330bc以基本垂直的方向从上表面330ba延伸出去。可替换地,侧部构件330bc可以成角度为圆锥形、半圆锥形或尖锥形。
当光耦合器330安装在LED模块300中,开孔330ca和330cb与LED封装件305中的LED对准,从而所有LED是通过沟道330d可见的。在某些示例性实施方案中,侧部构件330bc和/或开孔330ca和330cb中一个或两者的几何形状基本对应于LED的几何形状。例如,如果LED排列成基本为方形的几何形状,如图7和8所示,在侧部构件330bc以及开孔330ca和330cb可以具有基本上为方形的几何形状,如图17和18所示。类似地,如果LED排列成基本为圆形的几何形状,侧部构件330bc和/或开孔330ca和330cb中一个或两者可以具有基本为圆形的几何形状。在某些示例性实施方案中,光耦合器330d被配置为引导LED封装件305所发射的光。例如,所发射的光可以穿过沟道330d,并且被侧部构件330bc和/或中心件330b的下表面330bb反射、折射、漫反射和/或透射。
侧壁构件330e从光耦合器330的上表面330ba基本垂直地延伸。侧壁构件330e连接中心件330b和边缘构件330f,所述边缘构件330f包括光耦合器330的边缘表面330a。侧壁构件330e具有基本为圆形的几何形状,其围绕中心件330b限定一环。边缘构件330f从侧壁构件330e的顶端330ea基本垂直地延伸。边缘构件330f基本平行于中心件330b。
侧壁构件330e和中心件330b限定光耦合器330的内部区域330g。该内部区域330g包括围绕开孔330ca的空间,该空间被配置为包容基底306处的电连接。具体来说,当光耦合器330被安装在LED模块300内时,光耦合器330通过在内部区域330g内包容至少部分连接来覆盖基底306上的电连接。因此,当LED模块300被安装时所述电连接是不可见的。
图19是根据某些可替换的示例性实施方案的LED模块300的光耦合器1900的透视顶视图。光耦合器1900基本类似于光耦合器330,只是光耦合器1900具有较宽的边缘构件1900f和较窄的中心件1900b,所述中心件1900b具有基本为圆锥形或截头锥形的几何形状。具体来说,中心件1900b的下表面1900ba具有比中心件1900b的上表面1900bb大的半径。每个表面1900ba和1900bb分别包括开孔1900ca和1900cb,其连接延伸通过中心件1900b的沟道1900d。下表面1900ba具有基本这样成角度的轮廓,其从沟道1900d向外弯曲,限定中心件1900b基本为圆锥形或截头锥形的几何形状。在某些示例性实施方案中,中心件1900b的几何形状可以减少来自于光耦合器1900的不合需要的阴影。具体来说,中心件1900b不包括可能妨碍来自于LED封装件305的光的锐角边缘。
虽然图17-18和19图示分别具有方形和圆锥形几何形状的中心件330b和1900b,但是得益于本公开内容的本领域普通技术人员将认识到中心件330b和1900b可以包括任何几何形状。例如,在某些可替换的示例性实施方案中,光耦合器300或1900可以包括结合半球形或圆柱形几何形状的中心件。
图20是根据某些示例性实施方案的反射体1205的横截面轮廓的放大描绘。该轮廓包括在反射体1205顶部的第一区域2005和在反射体1205底部的第二区域2010。第二区域2010比第一区域2005更发散。区域2005和2010限定一与钟的侧面形状类似的曲面。
如得益于本公开内容的本领域普通技术人员公知的,下射灯内的反射体需要创建考虑人视觉感受的悦目的特定光图象(light pattern)。视觉上最有吸引力的下射灯被这样设计,使得源光的反射像在反射体的顶部开始并且随着观察者朝灯具行走而向下移。该效果有时被称为“由顶向下闪现”。所公认的是,人们偏好或多或少是均匀的、具有平滑而不是陡峭的梯度的光分布。陡峭的梯度被感知为光图形中的亮带或暗带。
用于具有大光源的下射灯(诸如白炽或紧凑型荧光灯)的传统反射体设计是着实简单的。从来自于光源的边缘光线或切线所创建的抛物面或近抛物面部分将创建具有在给定的感知约束下最宽分布可能的由顶向下闪现。对于邻近表面(例如地板)上的光图形,该光图形由于这样的事实而一般是平滑的,即该大光源反射到大的成角区域中。
设计用于诸如LED的小光源的反射体并非如此简单。具体来说,传统上一直难以在使用LED源时创建平滑的光图形。用于小光源下射灯(例如LED下射灯100)的反射体需要比通常对于具有较大光源的下射灯来说更发散。接近最低点的光的反射部分,或灯具正下方的点是对于小光源下射灯来说最关键的区域。如果在下射灯中反射体像和单独无遮蔽光源之间的过渡是突兀的,则在光图形中将感知到亮环或者暗环。
为了补偿,本发明的反射体1205在该区域附近变成急剧发散的,以较好地调和该过渡区。具体来说,反射体1205的钟形轮廓限定至少一个具有基本设置在中心的拐点的平滑曲面。曲面的顶部部分(第一区域2005)以更集中的方式反射光,以便于在较高的角度实现期望的光。例如,曲面的顶部部分可以反射在反射体1205于大约50度开始的顶部附近的光。曲面的底部部分(第二区域2010)比顶部部分更发散,并且横跨大的成角区域(低至零度)反射光,调和这样的光线,其否则在光图象中将是实的可视线。已经显示,该形状满足由顶至下闪现的要求,同时还在LED下射灯具100中创建平滑的、调和的光图象,虽然这对于LED下射灯来说特别有用,但是得益于本公开内容的本领域普通技术人员将认识到,反射体1205的该设计可以用于任何类型的灯具,无论该灯具是基于LED的还是非基于LED的。

Claims (43)

1.一种下射灯模块,包括:
发光二极管(“LED”)封装件,所述发光二极管封装件包括安装到公共基底的多个LED;
耦合到所述LED封装件的散热器;以及
用于将所述散热器和LED封装件安装在凹入式灯具内的装置,其中所述LED封装件产生所述凹入式灯具所发射的基本上所有光。
2.如权利要求1所述的下射灯模块,其中所述LED封装件中的所述LED排列在具有以下条件之一的区域中:(a)小于两英寸的直径,以及(b)小于两英寸的长度和小于两英寸的宽度。
3.如权利要求1所述的下射灯模块,其中所述散热器包括至少一个鳍。
4.如权利要求3所述的下射灯模块,每个鳍包括弯曲的辐状部分和相应的直的部分。
5.如权利要求4所述的下射灯模块,其中每个鳍沿着从所述LED封装件到所述鳍的所述辐状部分、从所述辐状部分到其相应的直的部分、以及从所述直的部分到周围环境的路径从所述LED封装件转移热。
6.如权利要求5所述的下射灯模块,其中来自于所述LED封装件的所述热的至少部分散逸在所述鳍的至少部分之间。
7.如权利要求5所述的下射灯模块,其中从所述LED封装件到所述鳍的所述辐状部分的所述路径包括从所述LED封装件到基本设置在所述LED封装件和所述辐状部分之间的芯构件以及从所述芯构件到所述辐状部分的路径。
8.如权利要求1所述的下射灯模块,其中所述散热器和LED封装件安装在所述凹入式灯具的基本为罐状容器形的壳体内,并且其中所述下射灯模块还包括耦合到所述散热器并且具有基本上与所述罐状容器的内轮廓对应的轮廓的构件,从而,当所述构件被安装在所述罐状容器中时,所述构件在所述罐状容器中创建接线盒。
9.如权利要求8所述的下射灯模块,其中所述散热器包括第一端和与所述第一端相对的第二端,并且其中所述LED封装件耦合到所述第一端,并且所述构件耦合到所述第二端。
10.如权利要求8所述的下射灯模块,其中所述构件具有面对所述散热器的第一侧以及与所述第一侧相对的第二侧,并且其中所述下射灯模块还包括耦合到所述构件的所述第二侧并且被配置为接纳爱迪生灯帽适配器和爱迪生灯帽座的支架。
11.如权利要求1所述的下射灯模块,还包括相对所述LED封装件的至少部分定位并且被配置为进行以下操作的构件:覆盖所述基底处的至少一个电连接,以及引导所述LED封装件所发射的光。
12.如权利要求11所述的下射灯模块,其中所述构件包括限定沟道的段,所述LED封装件所发射的光被引导通过所述沟道。
13.如权利要求12所述的下射灯模块,其中所述段具有基本为矩形的形状。
14.如权利要求12所述的下射灯模块,其中所述段具有基本为截头锥形的形状。
15.如权利要求11所述的下射灯模块,还包括:
耦合到所述散热器的反射体壳体;以及
基本设置在所述反射体壳体内的反射体,所述反射体的顶端与所述构件的下缘表面邻接。
16.如权利要求1所述的下射灯模块,还包括至少部分围绕所述LED封装件设置的反射体,所述反射体一侧的横截面轮廓包括端部设置在拐点相对侧上的基本平滑的曲面。
17.如权利要求15所述的下射灯模块,其中所述横截面轮廓基本类似于钟一侧的横截面轮廓。
18.如权利要求1所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述LED封装件发射具有在大约2500开氏度和大约5000开氏度之间的色温的光。
19.如权利要求18所述的下射灯模块,其中所述LED封装件包括至少一个白色的LED和至少一个非白色的LED。
20.一种用于安装发光二极管(“LED”)下射灯模块的方法,包括以下步骤:
将爱迪生灯帽适配器电气耦合到现有的凹入式灯具并且耦合到LED模块;以及
将所述LED模块安装在所述现有凹入式灯具的凹入式壳体内,所述LED模块的构件包括与所述凹入式壳体的内轮廓基本对应的轮廓,从而,当所述LED模块被安装在罐状容器中时,所述构件在所述构件和所述凹入式壳体的顶部之间创建接线盒,所述接线盒包容所述爱迪生灯帽适配器。
21.如权利要求20所述的方法,还包括将所述爱迪生灯帽适配器耦合到所述构件的步骤。
22.如权利要求20所述的方法,其中所述现有凹入式灯具是白炽灯灯具。
23.如权利要求20所述的方法,其中电气耦合所述爱迪生灯帽适配器的所述步骤包括以下步骤:
通过从所述现有的凹入式灯具切割至少一条导线来从所述现有的凹入式灯具移除爱迪生灯帽;
通过从所述爱迪生灯帽适配器切割至少一条导线来从所述爱迪生灯帽适配器移除爱迪生螺接插头;
将从所述现有的凹入式灯具和所述爱迪生灯帽适配器切割的导线连接在一起;以及
电气耦合从所述LED模块到所述爱迪生灯帽适配器的连线。
24.如权利要求20所述的方法,其中电气耦合所述爱迪生灯帽适配器的所述步骤包括以下步骤:
从所述现有的凹入式灯具释放插座;
将所述爱迪生灯帽适配器螺接入所述插座;以及
电气耦合从来所述LED模块到所述爱迪生灯帽适配器的连线。
25.一种凹入式灯具,包括:
基本上为罐状容器形的凹入壳体;以及
安装在所述壳体内的发光二极管(“LED”)下射灯模块,所述LED模块包括单个LED封装件,所述单个LED封装件产生所述凹入式灯具所发射的基本所有光,所述单个LED封装件包括安装到公共基底的多个LED。
26.如权利要求25所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述LED模块还包括这样的构件,所述构件包括与所述壳体的内轮廓基本对应的轮廓,从而,所述构件和所述壳体的顶部部分在所述壳体中、在所述构件的一侧和所述壳体的所述顶部部分之间限定接线盒。
27.如权利要求26所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述内轮廓基本是圆的,并且所述构件包括基本为圆形的板。
28.如权利要求26所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述接线盒包容来自于所述LED模块的连线。
29.如权利要求25所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述LED模块还包括耦合到所述LED封装件的散热器,所述散热器包括至少一个鳍,每个鳍包括弯曲的辐状部分和相应的直的部分,其中来自于所述LED封装件的热沿着从所述LED封装件到所述鳍的所述辐状部分、从所述辐状部分到其相应直的部分、以及从所述直的部分到周围环境的路径而被转移。
30.如权利要求25所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述LED封装件中的所述LED排列在具有以下条件之一的区域中:(a)小于两英寸的直径,以及(b)小于两英寸的长度和小于两英寸的宽度。
31.如权利要求25所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述LED模块还包括:
相对所述基底的至少一部分定位并且覆盖所述基底处至少一个电连接的构件;
包括第一开孔、第二开孔,以及在所述第一开孔和所述第二开孔之间延伸的沟道的反射体壳体,其中光通过所述沟道透射,并且所述第一开孔基本围绕所述LED封装件的至少一部分设置;以及
基本设置在所述反射体壳体内的反射体,所述反射体的顶端与所述构件的下缘表面邻接。
32.如权利要求31所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述LED模块还包括沿着所述第二开孔的下缘设置并且耦合到所述反射体壳体的底端的调整构件。
33.如权利要求25所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述LED封装件在所述壳体内沿水平面基本中心地定位。
34.如权利要求25所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述LED封装件发射白光。
35.如权利要求25所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述LED封装件发射具有在大约2500开氏度和大约5000开氏度之间的色温的光。
36.如权利要求25所述的凹入式灯具,还包括第一驱动电路,所述第一驱动电路被配置为向所述LED的至少第一部分供应第一驱动电流。
37.如权利要求36所述的凹入式灯具,其中所述第一驱动电路是可调节的,以便调整给所述LED所述第一部分的所述第一驱动电流的水平,以改变所述LED的亮度,并且其中所述LED的所述第一部分包括白色LED。
