Abstract

本发明涉及一种电池标签和一种包括电池本体和电池标签的电池。
背景技术:
单轴取向的刚性聚氯乙烯(PVC)膜非常适用于压敏电池标签的生产。但是,由于PVC的性质,认为PVC膜对环境有风险,因为这些膜的处置存在问题。
过去已经尝试替代PVC。聚丙烯尤为引起人们的关注。然而,由于材料在技术上不适合预期的目的,那些尝试不成功。原因在于聚丙烯相对于PVC的高收缩张力。这些高的收缩张力倾向于在收缩之后导致电池边缘周围的褶皱。
发明内容:
本申请的发明内容解决了以上提到的问题。所述新型的膜不含任何氯或其它卤素原子,因此这些膜的处置不会对环境造成破坏。所述新型的膜容易与其它聚烯烃类产品相容。
所述新型的膜具有低收缩张力,以使得收缩过程完成之后它们不会在电池边缘褶皱。
上述益处通过使用含有环烯烃共聚物(COC)的单轴或双轴取向聚烯烃膜来实现。
与部分结晶聚烯烃PE和PP相反,所述COC族由非晶的、透明的基于环状烯烃和线型烯烃的共聚物构成。
环烯烃共聚物是新的一类聚合物材料,其性能分布在聚合期间可以宽范围地变化。这些新型材料显示出独特的性能组合,其可以通过改变共聚物的化学结构而定制。性能益处包括:
.低密度
.高透明度
.低双折射
.极低的吸水性
.优异的水蒸汽阻隔性
.高至170℃的可变热挠曲温度
.高刚性,强度和硬度
.非常良好的抗酸碱性
.非常良好的电绝缘性

这些含COC的聚烯烃膜可以基于PP或PE树脂。优选地,它们基于聚乙烯树脂,特别是基于LLDPE树脂。由于其非常低的收缩张力,优选LLDPE树脂。所述膜可以为单层膜或多层膜,然而由于多层膜可以一次调整一层以便给予每层特定性能,优选多层膜。
所述膜可以通过流延挤塑(cast-extrusion)或吹塑膜生产工艺制得。
电池标签是缠绕电池的标签,以至于该标签的相对边缘可能稍微重叠。该标签在电池的纵向上延伸超过电池的末端以至于过量的材料延伸超过电池两端。在标签缠绕电池后,在升高的温度下(通过使用例如蒸汽,热空气,或红外辐射通常在95℃-135℃下)处理该标签,以便标签在电池外周(circumference)方向上收缩。另一种方式是在升高的温度下处理标签的两端(典型的是200℃-300℃的热空气处理)以便标签的两端在电池外周方向上收缩。由于收缩,标签延伸超过电池两端的那些部分伏在电池两端上,从而形成整齐的电池边缘。
所述标签包括表面膜和在表面材料背侧的粘合剂层。表面膜可以由一个均质层组成,或者可以包含若干层。所述表面膜或者其中的一层可以包含1-99重量%的COC,其余的塑性材料可以是例如线性低密度聚乙烯,低密度聚乙烯,高密度聚乙烯,或者聚丙烯。典型地,所述表面膜是共挤塑多层膜。表面膜的厚度可以在30-60微米之间。该膜可以是单轴取向或者双轴取向的以便于在升高的温度下能够收缩。如果该膜是双轴取向的,那么相对于膜横向上的取向,膜纵向上的取向可以不同。所述标签贴附于电池的本体,以使表面膜的单轴取向方向与电池的纵向横切,或者如果膜是双轴取向的,那么根据需要选择取向方向。标签背侧上的粘合剂层可以由丙烯酸类粘合剂形成,通常它是压敏粘合剂。
如果表面膜是多层膜,那么可以调整每一层中的塑性材料的组成(composition)。例如:一层可以包括少量的COC,而另一层可以包括大量的COC。少量的COC通常是所述层中塑性材料总量的1-40wt%。大量的COC通常是所述层中塑性材料总量的60-99wt%。那些共混物层中其余的塑性材料可以是另一种适合的聚烯烃,例如聚乙烯或者聚丙烯。适合的聚乙烯例如为LDPE(低密度聚乙烯)和LLDPE(线性低密度聚乙烯)。所述表面膜还可以包括由单一塑性材料例如COC或者LLDPE制得的层。需要注意的是,每一层除了包含塑性材料外还可以包含其他物质。常见的这些物质例如有添加剂或填料。
表面膜的前侧可以印刷或金属化,以便在电池的表面上形成图案或印花。表面膜可以被保护其表面上的图案或印花的覆膜覆盖。所述覆膜可以由与表面膜相同的材料制得,或者它可以由收缩性能与表面膜基本相同或小于表面膜的材料制得。也可以通过清漆保护图案或印花,清漆在表面膜印刷后施涂于其上。
如上所述,表面膜包括将在下面描述的α-烯烃/环烯烃共聚物(COC)。COC是可以由α-烯烃和环烯烃的聚合形成的共聚物。环烯烃是包含可聚合的碳-碳双键的化合物,该双键在脂环族环中(例如降冰片烯中那样)或者与脂环族环相连(例如乙烯基环己烷中那样)。COC可以具有作为聚合物主链一部分的环(例如乙烯/环戊烯共聚物和乙烯/降冰片烯共聚物)。COC可以具有聚合物主链上侧挂的环(例如乙烯/乙烯基环己烷共聚物)。
示例性的COC可以包含来源于以下中的一种或多种的(聚合)环烯烃内含物(content):环戊烯,取代环戊烯,降冰片烯,取代降冰片烯,环丁烯,环戊烯,甲基环戊烯,5-乙烯基降冰片烯,5-甲基降冰片烯,5-亚乙基降冰片烯,二环戊二烯,四环十二烯,和环十二碳三烯。
可用的COC可以包含环烯烃内含物,诸如上述那些环烯烃中的任一种,其含量至少约为和/或至多约为下列摩尔%中的任一种:10,15,18,20,22,24,28,30,32,35,40,45,50,55,60和65。这些数值之间的任何范围也是可以的。上述范围可以例如适用于下述的示例性的环烯烃共聚物。
COC可用的α-烯烃可以是直链型的或支链型的,可以具有例如至少和/或至多为如下数目中的任一种的碳原子:2,3,4,6,8,10,14,18,和20。例如,所述COC可以包括来源于乙烯和丙烯中的一种或多种的α-烯烃内含物。可用的COC可以在至少约为和/或至多约为下列摩尔%中的任一种下包含α-烯烃内含物(例如任何一种或多种以上所述的α-烯烃):90,85,80,75,70,65,60和55。这些数值之间的任何范围也是可以的。上述范围可以例如适用于下述的示例性的环烯烃共聚物。

Claims (19)

1.一种电池标签(2),其包括具有前侧和背侧的取向表面膜(5)和在所述表面膜(5)背侧上的粘合剂层(6),其特征在于所述表面膜(5)包含环烯烃共聚物。
2.如权利要求1所述的电池标签,其特征在于所述表面膜(5)包含环烯烃共聚物和如下聚合物中的一种或多种的共混物:线性低密度聚乙烯,低密度聚乙烯,高密度聚乙烯和聚丙烯。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的电池标签,其特征在于所述表面膜(5)是多层膜。
4.如权利要求3所述的电池标签,其特征在于所述多层膜中的一层的塑性材料组成包含1-40wt%的环烯烃共聚物。
5.如权利要求3所述的电池标签,其特征在于所述多层膜中的一层的塑性材料组成包含60-99wt%的环烯烃共聚物。
