Abstract
本发明的目的在于,提供通过熔融成形获得、具有由氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物构成的中间层的、耐热性优异的多层容器。本发明提供一种多层容器,该多层容器具有含有烯烃树脂的内外层和在上述内外层之间具有由氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物构成的中间层,其中,所述多层容器是熔融成形而成的,在容器体部的热分析中,以100℃/分钟从30℃升温至130℃后的等温晶化所产生的放热量为0.5J/g以上,且以100℃/分钟从200℃降温到130℃之后至等温晶化曲线的峰顶为止的时间短于作为中间层仅使用构成氧吸收阻挡性树脂的基材树脂(阻氧性树脂)的多层容器。

技术领域
本发明涉及熔融成形而成的、具有由氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物构成的中间层的耐热性优异的多层容器。
背景技术
阻氧性树脂例如乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH)作为用于与聚烯烃等热塑性树脂层相层叠而形成多层容器的树脂来使用(参照专利文献1)。
但是,将乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物等阻氧性树脂作为中间层的瓶子或杯子状等的多层容器是通过直接吹气成形、注射成形、直列式(in-line)成形(将由T口模挤出的熔融树脂直接成形的方法)等熔融成形而获得的,但由于耐热性差,因此存在发生热收缩等的问题。

发明内容
本发明的目的在于,提供熔融成形而成的、具有由氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物构成的中间层的、耐热性优异的多层容器。
本发明提供一种多层容器,所述多层容器具有含有烯烃树脂的内外层和在上述内外层之间具有由氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物构成的中间层,其中,所述多层容器是熔融成形而成的,在容器体部的热分析中,以100℃/分钟从30℃升温至130℃后的等温晶化所产生的放热量为0.5J/g以上,且以100℃/分钟从200℃降温到130℃之后至等温晶化曲线的峰顶为止的时间短于作为中间层仅使用构成氧吸收阻挡性树脂的基材树脂(阻氧性树脂)的多层容器。
通过本发明的多层容器,可以获得熔融成形而成的、具有由氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物构成的中间层的、耐热性优异、热收缩性有改善的多层容器。
具体实施方式
本发明的多层容器具有含有烯烃树脂的内外层和由氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物构成的中间层。
烯烃树脂可以举出低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、中密度聚乙烯(MDPE)、高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)、线状低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)、线状超低密度聚乙烯(LVLDPE)等聚乙烯(PE)、聚丙烯(PP)、乙烯-丙烯共聚物、聚1-丁烯、乙烯-1-丁烯共聚物、丙烯-1-丁烯共聚物、乙烯-丙烯-1-丁烯共聚物、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、离子交联烯烃共聚物(离聚物)或它们的混合物等。
阻气性树脂可以举出乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物、聚酰胺树脂、聚酯树脂。这些树脂可单独使用,还可组合使用2种以上。
本发明中,作为对于氧或香味成分的阻挡性特别优异的树脂优选使用乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物。乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物可使用其本身公知的任意物质,例如可以使用将乙烯含量为20~60摩尔%、特别是25~50摩尔%的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物皂化,达到皂化度96摩尔%以上、特别是99摩尔%以上而获得的共聚物皂化物。
该乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物皂化物应该具有足以能够形成薄膜的分子量。一般来说,在苯酚:水以重量比为85∶15的混合溶剂中在30℃下测定,优选具有0.01dl/g以上、特别是0.05dl/g以上的粘度。
聚酰胺树脂可以举出(a)由二羧酸成分和二胺成分衍生的脂肪族、脂环族或半芳香族聚酰胺,(b)由氨基羧酸或其内酯衍生的聚酰胺或者它们的共聚酰胺或它们的混合物。
二羧酸成分例如可以举出琥珀酸、己二酸、癸二酸、癸烷二羧酸、十一烷二酸、十二烷二酸等碳原子数4~15的脂肪族二羧酸,对苯二甲酸或间苯二甲酸等芳香族二羧酸。
另外,二胺成分可以举出1,6-二氨基己烷、1,8-二氨基辛烷、1,10-二氨基癸烷、1,12-二氨基十二烷等碳原子数4~25、特别是6~18的直链状或支链状亚烷基二胺、双(氨基甲基)环己烷、双(4-氨基环己基)甲烷、4,4’-二氨基-3,3’-二甲基二环己基甲烷,特别是双(4-氨基环己基)甲烷、1,3-双(氨基环己基)甲烷、1,3-双(氨基甲基)环己烷等脂肪族二胺,间-苯二胺和/或对-苯二胺等芳香脂肪族二胺。
作为氨基羧酸成分,可举出脂肪族氨基羧酸例如ω-氨基己酸、ω-氨基辛酸、ω-氨基十一烷酸、ω-氨基十二烷酸,对氨基甲基苯甲酸、对氨基苯基乙酸等芳香脂肪族氨基羧酸等。
这些聚酰胺中优选含亚二甲苯基的聚酰胺,具体地可以举出聚己二酰间苯二胺、聚癸二酰间苯二胺、聚辛二酰间苯二胺、聚庚二酰对苯二胺、聚壬二酰间苯二胺等均聚物以及己二酰间苯二胺/对苯二胺共聚物、庚二酰间苯二胺/对苯二胺共聚物、癸二酰间苯二胺/对苯二胺共聚物、壬二酰间苯二胺/对苯二胺共聚物等共聚物或者将它们的均聚物或共聚物的成分与环己二胺等脂肪族二胺、哌嗪等脂环式二胺、对-双(2-氨基乙基)苯等芳香族二胺、对苯二甲酸等芳香族二羧酸、ε-己内酯等内酯、7-氨基庚酸等ω-氨基羧酸、对-氨基甲基苯甲酸等芳香族氨基羧酸等进行共聚得到的共聚物,特别优选使用由间-苯二胺和/或对-苯二胺为主成分的二胺成分和脂肪族二羧酸和/或芳香族二羧酸获得的聚酰胺。
这些含亚二甲苯基的聚酰胺与其他聚酰胺树脂相比,阻气性优异,适于本发明的目的。
本发明中,从抑制聚酰胺树脂的氧化劣化的方面出发,优选聚酰胺树脂的末端氨基浓度为40eq/106g以上、特别是末端氨基浓度超过50eq/106g的聚酰胺树脂。
聚酰胺树脂的氧化劣化、即氧吸收与聚酰胺树脂的末端氨基浓度有密切关系。即,当聚酰胺树脂的末端氨基浓度为上述较高范围内时,氧吸收速度基本被抑制在零或接近零的值,相对于此,当聚酰胺树脂的末端氨基浓度低于上述范围时,有聚酰胺树脂的吸氧速度增大的倾向。
这些聚酰胺也应该具有足以形成薄膜的分子量,优选在浓硫酸中浓度为1.0g/dl、且30℃的温度下测定的相对粘度(ηrel)为1.1以上、特别1.5以上。
聚酯树脂可以举出由对苯二甲酸或间苯二甲酸等芳香族二羧酸和乙二醇等二醇类衍生而成的热塑性聚酯,即所谓的阻气性聚酯。该阻气性聚酯在聚合物链中以T∶I=95∶5~5∶95、特别是75∶25~25∶75的摩尔比含有对苯二甲酸成分(T)和间苯二甲酸成分(I),且以E∶BHEB=99.999∶0.001~2.0∶98.0、特别是99.95∶0.05~40∶60的摩尔比含有乙二醇成分(E)和双(2-羟基乙氧基)苯成分(BHEB)。作为BHEB,优选1,3-双(2-羟基乙氧基)苯。
该聚酯应该具有至少足以能形成薄膜的分子量,一般优选在苯酚和四氯乙烷的60∶40的重量比的混合溶剂中、30℃的温度下测定具有0.3~2.8dl/g、特别是0.4~1.8dl/g的特性粘度[η]。
还可使用以聚二醇酸为主体的聚酯树脂或者将该聚酯树脂和由上述芳香族二羧酸及二醇衍生的聚酯树脂混合而成的聚酯树脂。
氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物优选含有氧化性聚合物。这里,氧化性聚合物是指通过被氧化而显示吸氧作用。
作为氧化性聚合物,可以举出具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物等,例如将聚烯作为单体衍生。作为聚烯的适当例子,可以将丁二烯、异戊二烯等共轭二烯等聚烯均聚物,或者组合2种以上上述聚烯或者与其他单体组合的无规共聚物、嵌段共聚物等作为氧化性聚合物使用,在由聚烯衍生的聚合物中,优选聚丁二烯、聚异戊二烯、天然橡胶、丁腈橡胶、苯乙烯-丁二烯橡胶、氯丁橡胶、乙烯-丙烯-二烯橡胶等,当然并非限定于这些。
另外,作为具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物优选具有官能团。作为官能团,可以举出羧酸基、羧酸酐基、羧酸酯基、羧酸酰胺基、环氧基、羟基、氨基、羰基等,在相容性等方面特别优选羧酸基、羧酸酐基。这些官能团可以存在于树脂的侧链,还可存在于末端。
导入这些官能团所使用的单体可以举出具有上述官能团的乙烯系不饱和单体。
作为向具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物中导入羧酸基或羧酸酐基而使用的单体,优选使用不饱和羧酸或它们的衍生物。具体地可以举出丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、马来酸、富马酸、衣康酸、柠康酸、四氢苯二甲酸等α,β-不饱和羧酸、二环[2,2,1]庚-2-烯-5,6-二羧酸等不饱和羧酸,马来酸酐、衣康酸酐、柠康酸酐、四氢苯二甲酸酐等α,β-不饱和羧酸酐,二环[2,2,1]庚-2-烯-5,6-二羧酸酐等不饱和羧酸的酸酐。
具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物的酸改性,可通过将具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物作为基底聚合物,利用其本身公知的方法将不饱和羧酸或其衍生物接枝共聚到该基底聚合物上而制造,还可通过将上述具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物和不饱和羧酸或其衍生物无规共聚而制造。
在阻氧树脂中的分散性方面,特别优选的羧酸或具有羧酸酐基的具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物优选为以酸值5KOHmg/g以上的量含有羧酸或其衍生物的液状树脂。
当不饱和羧酸或其衍生物的含量在上述范围时,具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物在阻氧性树脂中的分散性良好,同时氧的吸收也顺畅地进行。
在阻氧树脂中配合具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物时,在过渡金属催化剂的存在下优选每1g具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物在常温下具有吸收2×10-3mol以上、特别是4×10-3mol以上的氧的能力。即,当氧吸收能力为上述值以上时,为了表现良好的阻氧性,没有必要将多量的具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物配合在阻氧树脂中,因此,不会导致所配合的树脂组合物的加工性或成形性降低。
本发明所使用的具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物的碳-碳双键并无特别限定,可以以亚乙烯基的形态存在于主链中,还可以以乙烯基的形态存在于侧链中,只要是能够氧化即可。
具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物相对于氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物优选以1~30重量%、特别是3~20重量%的范围含有。具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物的配合量为上述范围内时,吸氧性层具有充分的氧吸收能力,也可以维持树脂组合物的成形性。
氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物优选含有氧化催化剂。
氧化催化剂优选铁、钴、镍等周期表第VIII族金属成分,另外可举出含有铜、银等第I族金属;锡、钛、锆等第IV族金属、钒的第V族、铬等VI族、锰等VII族的金属成分的过渡金属催化剂等。这些金属成分中,钴成分的氧吸收速度大,特别适于本发明的目的。
过渡金属催化剂一般以上述过渡金属的低价数无机酸盐或有机酸盐或络合物盐的形态使用。
无机酸盐可以举出氯化物等卤化物、硫酸盐等硫的含氧酸盐、硝酸盐等氮的含氧酸盐、磷酸盐等磷氧酸盐、硅酸盐等。
另外,有机酸盐可以举出羧酸盐、磺酸盐、磷酸盐等,羧酸盐适于本发明的目的,作为其具体例子可以举出乙酸、丙酸、异丙酸、丁酸、异丁酸、戊酸、异戊酸、己酸、庚酸、异庚酸、辛酸、2-乙基己酸、壬酸、3,5,5-三甲基己酸、癸酸、新癸酸、十一烷酸、月桂酸、棕榈酸、肉豆蔻酸、十七烷酸、硬脂酸、花生酸、林德酸(linderic acid)、粗租酸、岩芹酸、油酸、亚油酸、亚麻酸、花生四烯酸、甲酸、草酸、氨基磺酸、环烷酸等的过渡金属盐。
另外,过渡金属的络合物使用与β-二酮或β-酮酸酯的络合物,作为β-二酮或β-酮酸酯例如可使用乙酰丙酮、乙酰乙酸乙酯、1,3-环己二酮、亚甲基双-1,3-环己二酮、2-苄基-1,3-环己二酮、乙酰基四氢萘酮、棕榈酰基四氢萘酮、硬脂酰基四氢萘酮、苯甲酰基四氢萘酮、2-乙酰基环己酮、2-苯甲酰基环己酮、2-乙酰基-1,3-环己烷二酮、苯甲酰基-对-氯苯甲酰基甲烷、双(4-甲基苯甲酰基)甲烷、双(2-羟基苯甲酰基)甲烷、苯甲酰基丙酮、三苯甲酰基甲烷、二乙酰基苯甲酰基甲烷、硬脂酰基苯甲酰基甲烷、棕榈酰基苯甲酰基甲烷、月桂酰基苯甲酰基甲烷、二苯甲酰基甲烷、双(4-氯苯甲酰基)甲烷、双(亚甲基-3,4-二氧苯甲酰基)甲烷、苯甲酰基乙酰基苯基甲烷、硬脂酰基(4-甲氧基苯甲酰基)甲烷、丁酰基丙酮、二硬脂酰基甲烷、乙酰基丙酮、硬脂酰基丙酮、双(环己酰基)-甲烷和二特戊酰基甲烷等。
上述具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物的含量一般相对于氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物的总重量为1~30重量%、优选为3~20重量%。
另外,氧化催化剂的含量一般相对于氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物的总重量作为金属量为100~1000ppm、优选为200~500ppm。
本发明的多层容器中,通过在中间层中使用氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物,内外层的烯烃层的晶化有所促进,因此可以提高多层容器的耐热性。中间层所使用的氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物可以是基材树脂与具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物的混合物,还可以相结合。另外,还可配合促进晶化的成核剂等第三成分。
本发明的多层容器通过熔融成形而获得,在容器体部的热分析中,以100℃/分钟从30℃升温至130℃后的等温晶化所产生的放热量为0.5J/g以上。通过使上述放热量为这种范围,成形时的变形有所缓和,因此可获得耐热性优异、耐热收缩性有所改善的多层容器。上述放热量优选为0.5~2.0J/g,更优选为0.5~1.6J/g。
本发明的多层容器在容器体部的热分析中,以100℃/分钟从200℃降温到130℃之后至等温晶化曲线的峰顶为止的时间短于作为中间层仅使用构成氧吸收阻挡性树脂的基材树脂(阻氧性树脂)的多层容器。通过使上述时间短于仅使用基材树脂的多层容器,可以在短时间内获得高的晶化度,因此可以获得耐热性优异、耐热收缩性有所改善的多层容器。上述时间优选为0.0~3.0分钟、更优选为0.0~1.0分钟。
本发明的多层容器还可根据需要在各树脂层之间存在粘合剂树脂。
这种粘合剂树脂可以举出羧酸、羧酸酐、在主链或侧链上以1~700毫克当量(meq)/100g树脂、优选10~500meq/100g树脂的浓度含有羧酸的聚合物。
粘合剂树脂例如可以有乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物、离子交联烯烃共聚物、马来酸酐接枝聚乙烯、马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯、丙烯酸接枝聚烯烃、乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯共聚物、共聚聚酯、共聚聚酰胺等,还可组合2种以上这些物质。
这些粘合剂树脂对于利用同时挤出或夹层层压等的层叠有用。另外,还可使用异氰酸酯系或环氧系等热固化型粘合剂树脂。
使用本发明的氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物的层叠结构可以根据使用方式、所要求的功能适当选择。特别是至少具有1层阻氧层的构造由于可以提高吸氧层的寿命,因此优选。
使用本发明的氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物的层压体中,为了捕获氧吸收时所产生的副产物,优选在吸氧层或其之外的层的任一者、特别是在比吸氧层更为内层侧处配合除臭剂或氧化副产物的吸附剂。
这些除臭剂或吸附剂可以使用其本身公知的物质,例如天然沸石、合成沸石、硅胶、活性炭、浸渍活性炭、活性白土、活性氧化铝、粘土、硅藻土、高岭土、滑石、膨润土、海泡石、绿坡缕石、氧化镁、氧化铁、氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁、氢氧化铁、硅酸镁、硅酸铝、合成铝碳酸镁、胺负载多孔二氧化硅。其中,胺负载多孔二氧化硅在与作为氧化副产物的醛的反应性方面优选,另外,在相对于各种氧化副产物显示优异的吸附性而且透明性方面,优选二氧化硅/氧化铝比大的所谓高硅沸石。
作为高硅沸石,优选二氧化硅/氧化铝比(摩尔比)为80以上,更优选为90以上、进一步优选为100~700。这种二氧化硅/氧化铝比的沸石具有在二氧化硅/氧化铝比低的沸石降低吸附性的高湿度条件下反而氧化副产物的包装性能有所提高的性质,当用于包装含有水分的内容物的包装体时,特别有效。高硅沸石的交换阳离子有必要是钠、锂、钾等碱金属、钙、镁等碱土类金属的一种或2种以上的混合物。此时,作为交换阳离子优选至少含有钠离子,特别优选实质上全部交换阳离子为钠者。
使用本发明多层容器的包装容器作为可防止氧所导致内容物香味降低的容器有用。
可填充的内容物在饮料中可举出啤酒、白酒、果汁、碳酸饮料、乌龙茶、绿茶等,食品中可举出水果、坚果、蔬菜、肉制品、幼儿食品、咖啡、口香糖、蛋黄酱、番茄酱、食用油、调味品、沙司类、酱油中熬煮类物质、乳制品等,其他可举出药品、化妆品、石油等在氧存在下易于引起劣化的内容物等,但并非限定于这些。
实施例
通过以下实施例进一步说明本发明,但本发明并非限定于这些实施例。
1.测定方法
(1)升温后的等温晶化所产生的放热量
剪切所制作的多层容器的体部,使用DSC测定差示扫描量热仪(DSC6220:SII社制),以100℃/分钟的速度从30℃升温至130℃,求出保持30分钟时的等温晶化所产生的放热量。
(2)降温后至等温晶化曲线的峰顶为止的时间
剪切中间层仅使用基材树脂制作的多层容器的体部,使用DSC测定差示扫描量热仪(DSC6220:SII社制),以100℃/分钟的速度从30℃升温至230℃,保持5分钟后,以100℃/分钟的速度降温到130℃,保持30分钟,进行等温晶化。
在所得曲线中,求得130℃下开始等温晶化的时刻至放热量达到最大的峰顶为止的时间,结果为4.43分钟(比较例1),将该值作为标准值。
2.评价[耐热性]
测量向制作的多层容器内注满填充25℃蒸馏水时的重量(cc)(V1)并配出后,注满填充在100℃沸腾的蒸馏水,接着,测量上述多层容器收缩结束后的重量(cc)(V2),将上述热收缩所带来的填充量变化(V1-V2)/V1作为重量变化率计算。
(实施例1)
用滚筒混合由乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物树脂(共聚32mol%的乙烯)(EP-F171B:KURARAY CO.,LTD.)构成的基材树脂(阻氧树脂)颗粒和由新癸酸钴(钴含有率为14wt%)(DICANATE5000:大日本油墨化学工业(株))所构成的过渡金属催化剂,使以钴量计为350ppm的新癸酸钴均匀地附着在上述基材树脂颗粒表面。
接着,使用出口部分安装有拉丝口模(strand die)的双螺杆挤出机(TEM-35B:东芝机械(株)),以螺杆转速为100rpm抽低真空,利用液体加料器,相对于附着有钴的基材树脂950重量份滴加50重量份酸值为40gKOH/g的马来酸酐改性聚丁二烯(M-2000-20:日本石油化学(株)),在成形温度200℃下拉丝,制作氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物的颗粒。
然后将聚丙烯(EC9J:Japan Polypropylene Corporation)、粘合树脂(ADMER QF551:三井化学(株))、上述制作的氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物的颗粒投入T口模挤出机,制作3种5层的片材。
层构成和厚度为:聚丙烯层(557μm)/粘合树脂层(24μm)/氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物层(38μm)/粘合树脂层(24μm)/聚丙烯层(557μm),总片材厚度1200μm。
将该多层片材剪切为30cm见方后,利用远红外线加热器加热至构成片材内外层的聚丙烯的熔点(160℃)以上的180℃,使用柱塞辅助真空压空成形机进行熔融成形,制作拉伸比H/D=0.8、注满填充时的内容积为180ml的多层容器。
进行所制作的多层容器升温后的等温晶化所产生的放热量、降温后至等温晶化曲线的峰顶为止的时间的测定以及耐热性的评价。
(比较例1)
除了中间层仅为基材树脂之外,与实施例1同样地制作多层容器,进行上述测定及评价。
(比较例2)
将实施例1获得的多层片材加热至低于构成内外层的聚丙烯的熔点(160℃)的温度148℃,使用柱塞助压真空压力成形机进行固相成形,制作拉伸比H/D=1.6、注满填充时的内容积为200ml的多层容器,进行上述测定及评价。
(比较例3)
除了中间层仅为基材树脂、使加热温度为138℃之外,与比较例2同样地固相成形,制作多层容器,进行上述测定及评价。
表1显示上述测定及评价结果,由表1可知,本发明的多层容器即便熔融成形,热收缩也小、耐热性也优异,特别是熔融成形的多层容器一般用于进行灭菌等热处理的用途中,因此适于这种用途。
Claims (4)
1.一种多层容器,所述多层容器具有:含有烯烃树脂的内外层和在所述内外层之间具有由氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物构成的中间层,其中,
所述多层容器是熔融成形而成的,
在容器体部的热分析中,以100℃/分钟从30℃升温至130℃后的等温晶化所产生的放热量为0.5J/g以上,且以100℃/分钟从200℃降温到130℃之后至等温晶化曲线的峰顶为止的时间短于作为中间层仅使用构成氧吸收阻挡性树脂的基材树脂、即阻氧性树脂的多层容器。
2.根据权利要求1所述的多层容器,其中氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物含有在基材树脂中配合了具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物和氧化催化剂的树脂。
3.根据权利要求2所述的多层容器,其中氧吸收阻挡性树脂组合物中,基材树脂与具有不饱和乙烯键的氧化性聚合物相结合。
4.根据权利要求1~3任一项所述的多层容器,其中基材树脂为乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物树脂。
