技术领域
本发明涉及用于润滑需要润滑的仅用于自动变速器离合器的组件的方法,所述方法使用润滑流体组合物来仅用于双离合变速器的离合器部分。所使用的流体组合物具有增强的动摩擦耐久性和轴承保护。
背景技术
双离合变速器(DCT)具有带有集成双离合器的自动直接换挡变速箱(DSG)。这些变速器被设计成传递优良的驾驶员接受性以及优于步进式自动变速器的燃料经济性。手动变速器齿轮的协调通过使用湿式双离合器来实现。因此,用于这样的变速器的流体的性能要求需要对手动变速器(例如极压和同步要求)和自动变速器(例如钢摩擦材料性能和摩擦耐久性要求)都关键的成分。该变速器体系的变体是湿式双离合器和直接换挡变速箱具有分离的油循环的变速器体系。在这样的体系中,湿式离合器使用具有不同于上述那些的性能要求的“仅用于离合器”的流体。

发明概述
本发明涉及润滑需要润滑的仅用于自动变速器离合器的组件的方法,其包括:
1)将润滑流体加入至需要润滑的仅用于自动变速器离合器的组件中,所述流体包含

实施方案详述
本文使用的术语“烃基取代基”或“烃基基团”使用本领域技术人员熟知的普通的意义。具体地,该术语是指具有直接与分子的剩余部分连接的碳原子并具有主要的烃特性的基团。烃基基团的实例包括:
(1)烃取代基,即脂肪族(例如烷基或烯基)、脂环族(例如环烷基、环烯基)取代基和芳香族、脂肪族和脂环族取代的芳香族取代基,以及环式取代基,其中所述环通过分子的另一部分来完成(例如两取代基一起形成脂环基);

清净剂
实施方案可以包括一种或多种清净剂。含金属或成灰清净剂既起清净剂作用以减少或除去沉淀物,又起酸中和剂或防锈剂的作用,由此减少磨损和腐蚀。清净剂通常包含带有长疏水尾的极性头,其中所述极性头包括酸性有机化合物的金属盐。该盐可以包含基本上化学计量的金属,在这种情况下它们通常被描述成正盐或中性盐,并且总碱值或TBN(由ASTM D2896测量)通常为0至小于150。通过使过量的诸如氧化物或氢氧化物的金属化合物与诸如二氧化碳的酸性气体反应来包含大量的金属碱。所得高碱性清净剂包括包围无机金属碱的核心的中和的清净剂(例如水合碳酸盐)的胶束。这样的高碱性清净剂的TBN可以为150或更高,通常为250至450或更高。
可以使用的清净剂包括金属的油溶性中性及高碱性磺酸盐、酚盐、硫化酚盐和水杨酸盐,所述金属特别是碱金属或碱土金属,例如钠、钾、锂、钙、锌和镁。最常用的金属是钙和镁,其可以都存在。钙和/或镁与钠的混合物也是可用的。还适合的金属清净剂是TBN为20至450 TBN的中性和高碱性磺酸钙或磺酸镁、TBN为50至450的中性和高碱性苯酚钙或苯酚镁和硫化酚盐以及TBN为130至350的中性或高碱性水杨酸钙或水杨酸镁。还可以使用这样的盐的混合物。

根据公开的实施方案,流体组合物中的清净剂的量可以高达约1wt%,所述流体组合物还包括大量基础油。
分散剂
分散剂可以包括曼尼希分散剂或琥珀酰亚胺分散剂。此外,分散剂可以是磷酸化、硼化或硼化/磷酸化分散剂。分散剂还可以是硼化/磷酸化分散剂。
本文使用的术语“琥珀酰亚胺”意指包括来自一种或多种胺、氨或聚胺反应物与烃取代的琥珀酸或酐(或如琥珀酰化剂)的完全反应产物,并且旨在包括化合物,其中所述产物除了具有由伯氨基基团与酐部分的反应获得的酰亚胺键以外,还可以具有酰胺、胺、脒和/或盐键。
可以使用含有2至20个碳原子和2至6个羟基基团的多元醇的烯基琥珀酸酯和二酯来形成含磷的无灰分散剂。代表性的实例在美国专利第3,331,776号、第3,381,022号和第3,522,179号中描述。
可以被磷酸化的烃基聚胺分散剂通常由包含平均至少约40个碳原子的脂肪族或脂环族卤化物(或其混合物)与一种或多种诸如聚亚烃基聚胺的胺的反应来制备。这样的烃基聚胺分散剂的实例在美国专利第3,275,554号、第3,394,576号、第3,438,757号、第3,454,555号、第3,565,804号、第3,671,511号和第3,821,302号中描述。

适合用于制备磷酸化的无灰分散剂的聚合聚胺分散剂是包含碱性胺基团和油溶性基团(例如具有至少8个碳原子的侧链烷基基团)的聚合物。这样的材料通过由诸如甲基丙烯酸癸酯、癸基乙烯基醚或较高分子量烯烃的各种单体与丙烯酸氨烷基酯和氨烷基丙烯酰胺形成的互聚物来说明。聚合聚胺分散剂的实例在美国专利第3,329,658号、第3,449,250号、第3,493,520号、第3,519,565号、第3,666,730号、第3,687,849号和第3,702,300号中提出。

磷系防磨剂
实施方案还可以包括一种或多种磷系防磨剂。磷系防磨剂可以包括二烃基二硫代磷酸金属盐化合物,例如但不限于二烃基二硫代磷酸锌化合物。适合的二烃基二硫代磷酸金属盐可以包括其中所述金属可以是碱金属或碱土金属或铝、铅、锡、钼、锰、镍、铜或锌的二烃基二硫代磷酸金属盐。锌盐最常用于润滑油中。
二烃基二硫代磷酸金属盐可以按照已知技术通过如下方法制备:首先通常由一种或多种醇或酚与P2S5反应形成二烃基二硫代磷酸(DDPA),然后用金属化合物中和所形成的DDPA。例如,二硫代磷酸可以通过使伯醇和仲醇的混合物反应来制得。或者,能够制备多二硫代磷酸,其中一个二硫代磷酸上的烃基基团全部是二级特征,而其它二硫代磷酸上的烃基基团全部是一级特征。能够使用任何碱性或中性金属化合物来制得金属盐,而氧化物、氢氧化物和碳酸盐最常用。由于在中和反应中使用过量的碱性金属化合物,因此市售的添加剂通常包含过量的金属。
二烃基二硫代磷酸锌(ZDDP)是二烃基二硫代磷酸的油溶性盐,并可以以如下通式表示:

极压剂

硫化脂肪酸和烯烃可以包括但不限于二烃基多硫化物、硫化烯烃、天然和合成来源的硫化脂肪酸酯、二硫杂环戊烯硫酮、硫化噻吩基衍生物、硫化萜烃、硫化C2至C8单烯烃的低聚物,以及诸如在美国专利第Re 27,331号中公开的那些加合物的硫化狄尔斯-阿尔德(Diels-Alder)加合物。具体实例包括硫化聚异丁烯、硫化异丁烯、硫化二异丁烯、硫化三异丁烯、环己基多硫化物、二苯基多硫化物、二苄基多硫化物、二壬基多硫化物,以及诸如二叔丁基三硫化物、二叔丁基四硫化物和二叔丁基五硫化物的混合物的二叔丁基多硫化物的混合物,等等。还可以使用这类含硫的抗磨剂和/或极压剂的组合,例如硫化异丁烯和二叔丁基三硫化物的组合、硫化异丁烯和二壬基三硫化物的组合、硫化塔尔油和二苯基多硫化物的组合。
基于传动流体组合物的总重量,传动流体中的极压剂的总量可以为约0.01wt%至约10wt%。
金属减活剂
配方还可以包含金属减活剂,所述金属减活剂包括这类流体中通常用于那种目的的材料。这些可以包含例如无灰二烷基噻二唑。适合的二烷基噻二唑可以是通式(I)的化合物:
其中,R1和R2可以是相同或不同的烃基基团,且x和y可以独立地为0至8的整数。一方面,R1和R2可以是相同或不同的直链、支链或芳香族饱和或不饱和烃基基团,其具有约6至约18个碳原子,特别地约8至约12个碳原子,且每一x和y可以是0或1。
适合的二烷基噻二唑包括2,5-双(烃基二硫代)-1,3,4-噻二唑。其它适合的二烷基噻二唑的实例包括例如2,5-双(烃基硫代)-1,3,4-噻二唑、2-(叔烃基二硫代)-5-巯基-1,3,4-噻二唑和双-叔-十二烷基硫代噻二唑。
适合的二烷基噻二唑还包括例如在美国专利第4,149,982号和第4,591,645号中描述的那些,并且该描述以参考的方式并入本文。还可以使用通式(I)的二烷基噻二唑与单烷基噻二唑的混合物。
流体组合物可以包括高达约2.0wt%的金属减活剂。
基础油
本实施方案可以与大量基础油组合使用。适合用于配制本发明的发明方法的流体组合物的基础油可以选自任何的合成油或天然油或气至液(gas to liquid)基础油或其混合物。天然油包括动物油和植物油(例如蓖麻油、猪油)以及矿物润滑油,例如石蜡型、环烷型或混合的石蜡型-环烷型的液体石油和溶剂处理或酸处理的矿物润滑油。源自煤或页岩的油也是适合的。基础油在100℃下的粘度通常为约2cSt至小于约7cSt。
合成基础油包括二羧酸的烷基酯、聚乙二醇和醇、包括聚丁烯的聚α烯烃、烷基苯、磷酸的有机酯和有机硅油。合成油包括诸如聚合和共聚烯烃(例如聚丁烯、聚丙烯、丙烯异丁烯共聚物等)的烃油;聚(1-己烯)、聚(1-辛烯)、聚(1-癸烯)等及其混合物;烷基苯(例如十二烷基苯、十四烷基苯、二壬基苯、二-(2-乙基己基)苯等);聚苯(例如联苯、三联苯、烷基化聚苯等);烷基化二苯醚和烷基化二苯硫化物及其衍生物、类似物和同系物等。
末端羟基基团已经通过酯化、醚化等修饰的烯化氧聚合物和互聚物构成可以使用的另一类已知的合成油。这样的油的实例为通过环氧乙烷或环氧丙烷的聚合、这些聚氧化烯聚合物的烷基或芳基醚(例如平均分子量为约1000的聚异丙二醇甲基醚、分子量为约500至1000的聚乙二醇的二苯醚、分子量为约1000至1500的聚丙二醇的二乙醚等)的聚合或其单和聚羧酸酯例如乙酸酯、混合的C3-8脂肪酸酯或四甘醇的含氧酸二酯的聚合而制备的油。
另一类可以使用的合成油包括二羧酸(例如邻苯二甲酸、琥珀酸、烷基琥珀酸、烯基琥珀酸、马来酸、壬二酸、辛二酸、癸二酸、富马酸、己二酸、亚油酸二聚体、丙二酸、烷基丙二酸、烯基丙二酸等)与多种醇类(例如丁醇、己醇、十二醇、2-乙基己醇、乙二醇、二乙二醇单醚、丙二醇等)的酯。这些酯类的具体实例包括己二酸二丁酯、癸二酸二(2-乙基己基)酯、富马酸二正己酯、癸二酸二辛酯、壬二酸二异辛酯、壬二酸二异癸酯、邻苯二甲酸二辛酯、邻苯二甲酸二癸酯、癸二酸双二十烷基酯、亚油酸二聚体的2-乙基己基二酯、由1摩尔癸二酸与2摩尔四甘醇和2摩尔2-乙基己酸反应形成的复合酯等。
用作合成油的酯还包括由C5至C12的一元羧酸与诸如新戊二醇、三羟甲基丙烷、季戊四醇、二季戊四醇、三季戊四醇等的多元醇和多元醇醚制得的那些酯。
因此,可以用于制备本文所述的流体组合物而使用的基础油选自美国石油协会(API)基础油互换原则中所指定的组I-V的基础油中的任何一种,以及气至液基础油。这样的组I-V基础油组如下:
基础油组1 硫(wt.%) 饱和烃(wt.%)粘度指数
组I >0.03 和/或 <90 80至120
组II ≤0.03 和 ≥90 80至120
组III ≤0.03 和 ≥90 ≥120
组IV 全部聚α烯烃类(PAO)
组V 未包括在组I-IV中的其它全部
1组I-III是矿物油基础油。
流体组合物中的基础油的量可以为流体组合物的约40%重量比至约99%重量比。这样的量也符合本说明书中使用短语“大量”的意图。
配制本文描述的流体组合物所使用的添加剂能够分别被混合到基础油中或以各种亚组合被混合到基础油中。此外,所有组分可以使用添加剂浓缩物来同时混合(即添加剂加上诸如烃溶剂的稀释剂)。当以添加剂浓缩物的形式时,使用添加剂浓缩物利用成分的组合提供的相互相容性。并且,使用浓缩物还减少混合时间并降低混合误差的可能性。
本文公开的发明方法的流体组合物可以包括适用于任何自动、手动或机械式自动变速器应用的流体。例如,本文公开的实施方案可以适合用于有级自动变速器、手动变速器、无级变速器、双离合变速器等。此外,目前公开的动力传动流体可以适合用于具有滑动液力变矩器、锁止式液力变矩器、起动离合器和/或一种或多种换档离合器的变速器。这样的变速器包括四速、五速、六速和七速变速器和无级变速器(链、带或盘式)。
本文描述的适合的流体组合物可以以指定量包含如下组分:

低速SAE No.2摩擦试验
在低速SAE#2机器上研究本发明流体和比较流体的摩擦特性。用基于纤维素纸的衬以摩擦材料的板来进行试验。在120℃下测量并记录摩擦力。
摩擦耐久性试验
使用Volkswagen(VW-GK-DSG)试验在ZF-GK装置上研究本发明流体和比较流体的摩擦耐久性以测量用于双离合变速器的流体的摩擦耐久性。方法包括在指定压力和温度坡度下的动摩擦试验程序以测定流体在这些条件下不发生抖动地完成的周期数。
实施例I
将4.4wt.%的磷酸化和硼化琥珀酰亚胺分散剂与0.08wt.%的亚磷酸二油醇酯防磨剂、0.3wt.%的高碱性磺酸钙清净剂、0.05wt%的噻二唑极压剂和2.17wt.%的核心填料组合,所述核心填料包含总加剂量为7.0wt.%的防锈剂、抗氧化剂、消泡剂、摩擦改进剂和稀释油。将该混合物加入包含基础油和粘度指数改进剂的基础油混合物中。
比较实施例II
比较实施例II是可商购的双离合器传动流体。使用电感耦合等离子体(ICP)光谱法的元素分析提供了表II给出的硫、钙、硼和磷数据。

表II还显示在老化前(新鲜的)和老化后(老化的),实施例I的本发明流体和实施例II的比较流体的低速SAE#2摩擦特性。本申请中的老化被定义为将新鲜油在150℃下暴露200小时。在经过200小时后,该油被称为“老化的”。结果显示出实施例I与比较产品相比保持正摩擦特性,所述比较产品在摩擦系数和摩擦坡度方面显示显著变化。能够预期比较流体的摩擦特性增加使换挡振动和抖动增加的可能性。本发明流体的高耐久性通过使用VW-GK-DSG DCT耐久性试验测试实施I的本发明流体和实施例II的比较流体来进一步证实。如表II所示,本发明的流体的耐久性大2.5倍以上。
因此,本发明的流体在双离合变速器中仅对离合器部分提供较高的摩擦力和摩擦耐久性性能。
在整个本说明书的很多地方,参考了大量美国专利。所有这样的引用文件以整体的方式清楚地合并到本发明中,如同完整地在本文中列出。
从本文公开的实施方案的说明和实践来考虑,本发明的其它实施方案对本领域的技术人员是显而易见的。如整个说明书和权利要求所使用的,不定冠词“(a)”和/或“(an)”可以指一或大于一。除非另外指明,在说明书和权利要求书中使用的表示组分数量,诸如分子量、百分比、比率、反应条件等性质的所有数字均应当理解为在所有情况下通过术语“约”被改变。因此,除非相反地指明,在说明书和权利要求书中提出的数字参数是近似值,其可以根据本发明寻求获得的期望性质的改变而改变。至少,并且不试图限定权利要求范围中等同教条的应用,每一数字参数应至少根据报导的有效数字并通过应用普遍归约技术来解释。虽然提出本发明的宽范围的数值范围和参数是近似值,但是尽可能精确地报告了具体实施例中提出的数值。然而,任何数值固有地包含由在它们各自的试验测量中发现的标准偏差必然导致的某些错误。预期说明书和实施例被认为仅是示例性的,本发明的真实范围和精神通过如下权利要求来指出。
Claims (9)
1.润滑需要润滑的仅用于自动变速器离合器的组件的方法,其包括:
1)将润滑流体加入至需要润滑的仅用于自动变速器的离合器的组件中,所述流体包含
a)用添加剂组分配制的润滑粘度的油,所述添加剂组分包含:
i)至少一种金属清净剂;
ii)至少一种磷系防磨剂;
iii)不同于所述至少一种磷系防磨剂的磷酸化和硼化分散剂;
iv)硫化极压剂;
b)基于所述流体组合物的总重量的所述硫的含量(ppm)与基于所述流体组合物的总重量的磷的含量(ppm)之间的比率为约2.0至约0.5(ppm/ppm);以及
2)运行包含所述流体的所述仅用于自动变速器离合器的组件。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述流体还包含:
c)基于所述流体组合物的总重量的所述硫的含量(ppm)与基于所述流体组合物的总重量的硼的含量(ppm)之间的比率为约4.0至约1.5(ppm/ppm)。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其中所述金属清净剂选自苯酚钙、水杨酸钙、磺酸钙及其混合物。
4.根据权利要求1-3中任一权利要求所述的方法,其中所述至少一种金属清净剂是高碱性磺酸钙。
5.根据权利要求1-4中任一权利要求所述的方法,其中所述高碱性磺酸钙的总碱值为约150至约450。
6.根据权利要求1-5中任一权利要求所述的方法,其中所述至少一种磷系防磨剂包括至少一种亚磷酸二油醇酯化合物。
7.根据权利要求1-6中任一权利要求所述的方法,其中所述流体包含来自所述亚磷酸二油醇酯化合物的约50ppm至约100ppm的磷。
8.根据权利要求1-7中任一权利要求所述的方法,其中所述流体包含来自所述磷酸化和硼化分散剂的约50ppm至约250ppm的硼。
9.根据权利要求1-8中任一权利要求所述的方法,其中运行作为自动变速器的双离合变速器。
