发明背景
诸如洗发剂、调理剂、沐浴剂、淋浴用保湿剂、洗剂、洗涤剂、牙膏、调味番茄酱等的液体组合物通常包装在吹模容器内。消费者需要容易由其分配内容物的容器。对于可挤压容器,所述分配通过容器的几何形状、取向(例如,也被称为“倒头瓶”的倒置容器)、容器的材料、孔口设计和厚度来实现。在可挤压容器的情况下,由于消费者经常需要挤压容器多次以分配足够的产品,因此高度的回弹力是可取的。可挤压壁厚度的增加可导致回弹力的增加,并且所述壁可较快地恢复其形状。然而,使用者通常不喜欢具有厚塑料壁的容器,因为所述容器会较难以挤压。这些容器的生产成本也会更高,因为需要更多材料来形成侧壁。为了装饰的目的和为了向使用者提供诸如组合物配方或使用方法的信息,标签通常被包括在这些容器上。标签也可改善容器的固有特性,诸如变形特性和挤压后的修复特性。

在一个具体的实施例中,采用透明或不透明的容器2。例如,在一个特定的实施例中,容器2由聚烯烃制成,诸如聚丙烯、聚乙烯(例如,线性低密度、低密度、中密度、高密度、诸如乙烯、乙烯基和乙酸根的共聚物)、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯及共聚物以及尼龙。
在一个实施例中,容器2为从分配端10填充的瓶子16。典型地,倒头瓶18上的封闭件14为平的或凹的,使得倒头瓶在存储时搁置在封闭件上。在特定实施例中,封闭件14可为例如顶盖、翻盖、旋盖、旋拧掀盖等。
在特定实施例中,倒头瓶18可为优选的容器2。如果利用倒头瓶18,则个人护理组合物可如下存储:其中组合物由其填充的末端面向下。这样避免了消费者在每次使用时需要倾倒容器2以分配产品,从而消除了消费者每次使用情况下气泡通过包装内产品长度的运动。气泡通过产品长度的运动出于审美观点是不可取的,因为其可破坏具有视觉上不同的相的产品的吸引人的外观。这种产品吸引力的损失不可取地降低了消费者对产品的喜爱。
在另一个实施例中,容器2为可在任一端以垂直位置竖放的瓶子16。
在图1和图2所示的任一构型中,容器2包括含有液体组合物的贮存器4和模内标签6。模内标签6具有至少0.11mm(4.5密耳)的厚度;模内标签6包括选自由下列组成的组的薄膜:聚乙烯、聚乙烯共聚物、聚丙烯、聚丙烯共聚物、尼龙、聚酯、聚酯共聚物、聚乳酸、玻璃纸、聚氯乙烯、离聚物、乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物、茂金属聚乙烯、茂金属聚丙烯、以及它们的混合物。聚乙烯类型包括高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)、中密度聚乙烯(MDPE)、低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、线性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)。聚乙烯的共聚物包括诸如乙烯乙酸乙烯酯(EVA)或乙烯的聚乙烯共聚物。
模内标签化方法包括将模内标签6放入打开的模具内,其中模内标签6通过真空、静电或其它方式保持在适当位置。关闭模具并驱使熔融塑料进入该模具。模内标签化可利用注射或吹模法实现,然而吹模法为优选的方法。在吹模法中,将空气引入模具腔体,其驱使熔融树脂接触熔合到容器2上的模内标签6。
模内标签化有诸多优点。由于模内标签6在模制过程中与容器2熔融,因此模内标签化产生优良的美观性。对于透明的模内标签6,外观通常可类似于印刷在容器2上。印刷到曲面上非常困难并且需要附加步骤。印刷到塑料表面上可导致不可取的刮伤或污点。至于模内标签化,不需要附加印刷或标签化步骤,从而使其为非常有效的方法。
吹模容器2可由聚乙烯和聚乙烯共聚物制成,包括高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)、中密度聚乙烯(MDPE)、低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、线性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)、聚酰胺树脂、离聚物树脂、聚氯乙烯、乙烯乙烯乙酸酯(EVA)、聚酯(PET)和聚酯共聚物、聚丙烯(PP)、以及它们的混合物。对于诸如聚乙烯和聚乙烯共聚物的相对不太硬的材料,可观察到更大的回弹力改善。
然而,模内标签化的一个局限性为模内标签6难以放置在诸如脊或谷的具有高曲率的表面形貌上,因为空气可被截留在模内标签6的下方,这对消费者是不可取的,尤其是当需要“无标签”外观时。此外,表面形貌可使得标签材料在吹制容器时折叠在其自身上,从而产生不可取的褶皱或折缝。本发明通过使用厚的模内标签6克服了这些缺陷,所述模内标签能够施加在模内而不截留空气,并且其不易受褶皱或折缝的影响。
模内标签6典型地放置在具有光滑表面的容器2上。先前难以在表面形貌20上采用模内标签6,尤其是如果表面形貌在容器2上包括由凹面向凸面22的过渡或者由凸面向凹面22的过渡的话。本发明涉及放置在表面形貌上的具有足够厚度的模内标签6。
本发明的容器2可为本领域已知的任何形状。最优选的为大致椭圆形容器。用于本发明的一个实施例的容器2具有至少一种选自由下列组成的组的表面形貌20:脊、谷、凹槽、凹坑、凹陷、凸块、凸面、凹面、肋、突出、弯曲、凸起表面或其它表面形貌。容器2上的表面形貌20典型地邻近模内标签6或者在模内标签上或者被模内标签覆盖而定位。
模内标签6的厚度为至少0.11mm(4.5密耳)。模内标签6具有在约0.11mm(4.5密耳)至约1.02mm(40密耳),优选地约0.15mm(6密耳)至0.30mm(12密耳),甚至更优选地约0.20mm(8密耳)至0.30mm(12密耳),甚至更优选地约0.25mm(10密耳)至约0.30mm(12密耳),甚至更优选地约0.20mm(8密耳)至0.51mm(20密耳)范围内且最大值为1.02mm(40密耳)的厚度。此外,厚的模内标签6提供依据耐挤压的附加有益效果,因为熔融材料变成容器的结构部件,从而改善其回弹力并允许流体的更容易分配。此外,厚的模内标签6能够更好地提供熔融树脂与模具表面之间的绝缘,从而允许使用否则不能使用的热敏油墨。薄的模内标签6可导致不可取的褶皱或折缝。模内标签6可通过本领域已知的技术制成。主要方法为薄膜挤出。模内标签6可由一层或多层组成。用于生产模内标签6的一种常见方法为复合挤压成型,其中热密封层由比印刷表面熔点低的树脂组成以避免任何变形。用于生产模内标签6的另一种常见方法为通过用每个薄膜之间的粘合剂或联结层层压两个或多个单独的薄膜。模内标签6可包含附加的纸张或金属薄片层。
模内标签6在放入模具内之前利用本领域已知的方法预印刷/装饰。装饰可包括金属薄片、油墨、纸张、全息摄影或其它技术。也可附上诸如优惠码或用法说明的次标签。本发明的模内标签6可为具有内层和至少一个外层的多层。在一些实施例中,内层和外层可具有不同的熔点。在一些实施例中,内层可具有比外层低的熔点。模内标签的内层优选为可热密封的。
根据本发明的薄膜可具有三层,并且可包括在两侧均包括基底层和至少一个顶层的共挤出层。如果需要,两层、四层、五层或更多层的实施例也是可能的。薄膜优选由聚烯烃(优选丙烯聚合物)和任选地在每种情况下有效量的填充剂和另外添加剂构成。
在一些优选的实施例中,薄膜材料为具有EVA粘合剂层的聚丙烯/聚乙烯复合薄膜。在这些实施例中,丙烯聚合物的含量按所述材料的重量计为约70%,并且按所述材料的重量计30%为聚乙烯。
优选的聚烯烃为丙烯聚合物。这些丙烯聚合物包含按重量计90%至100%,优选地按重量计95%至100%,具体地讲按重量计98%至100%的丙烯单元,并具有120℃或更高,优选地150℃至170℃的熔点。具有按重量计15%或更少的无规含量的全同立构丙烯共聚物、具有按重量计5%或更少的乙烯含量的乙烯和丙烯的共聚物、具有按重量计5%或更少的烯烃含量的C4-C8烯烃的丙烯共聚物,具有按重量计10%或更少的乙烯含量并具有按重量计15%或更少的丁烯含量的丙烯、乙烯和丁烯的三元共聚物为用于基底层的优选丙烯聚合物,其中全同立构丙烯共聚物为尤其优选的。按重量计规定的百分比是基于各自的聚合物。
另外合适的为所述丙烯共聚物和/或共聚物和/或三元共聚物与其它聚烯烃(具体地讲由具有2至6个碳原子的单体制成)的混合物,其中所述混合物包含按重量计至少50%,具体地讲按重量计至少75%的丙烯聚合物。
所述聚合物混合物中合适的其它聚烯烃为聚乙烯,具体地讲为HDPE、MDPE、LDPE、VLDPE和LLDPE,其中这些聚烯烃的比例为在每种情况下基于聚合物混合物按重量计不超过15%。
与熔融树脂接触的内表面、内层必需能够与容器2形成密封,以使得其不容易脱离。内层应该能够在用于形成容器2的熔融树脂的温度下熔融。优选地,内层应为热密封层。内层可为粘合剂层。内层优选由EVA或LDPE构成。
模内标签6在放入模具内之前利用本领域已知的方法预印刷/装饰。装饰可包括金属薄片、油墨、纸张、全息摄影或其它技术。也可附上诸如优惠码或用法说明的次标签。
多层薄膜的外层通常包含按重量计至少70%,优选按重量计75%至小于100%,具体地讲按重量计90%至98%的丙烯聚合物,并通常包含抗粘连剂和稳定剂,并且如果需要,还包含在每种情况下以有效量添加的诸如润滑剂的常规添加剂,例如脂肪酸酰胺或硅氧烷。优选外层包含脂肪酸酰胺的实施例。以上以重量百分比计的数据是基于顶层重量。
外层的丙烯聚合物优选为丙烯与乙烯或丙烯与丁烯或丙烯与另一种具有5至10个碳原子的烯烃的共聚物。对于本发明另外合适的为乙烯与丙烯和丁烯或乙烯与丙烯和另一种具有5至10个碳原子的烯烃的三元共聚物。采用所述二元共聚物和三元共聚物的两种或多种的混合物或共混物也是可能的。
对于外层,优选乙烯-丙烯共聚物和乙烯-丙烯丁烯三元共聚物,具体地讲为具有按重量计2%至10%,优选按重量计5%至8%乙烯含量的无规乙烯-丙烯共聚物,或者具有按重量计1%至10%,优选按重量计2%至6%乙烯含量以及按重量计3%至20%,优选按重量计8%至10%的1-丁烯含量的无规乙烯-丙烯-1-丁烯三元共聚物,在每种情况下均基于二元共聚物或三元共聚物的重量。
经常遇到的PP、OPP或BOPP薄膜的实施例在一侧(优选在外层)电晕或火焰处理,以便固定待施用的印刷油墨、金属层或粘合剂。
相对的内层通常保持未处理。在根据裁切和堆叠方法放入吹模机器中时,根据本发明的模内标签6薄膜证明在两侧均具有电晕或火焰预处理的实施例中分离起来尤其简单且可靠。
模内标签的厚度为至少0.11mm(4.5密耳)。在一个优选的实施例中,模内标签的厚度为0.19mm(7.75密耳)。在一个优选的实施例中,用于制作标签的薄膜为得自Avery Dennison的8SFC模内薄膜。
II.方法
模内标签化方法包括将模内标签6放入打开的模具内,其中模内标签6通过真空、静电或其它方式保持在适当位置。关闭模具并驱使熔融塑料进入该模具。模内标签化可利用注射或吹模法实现,然而吹模法为优选的方法。在吹模法中,将空气引入模具腔体,其驱使熔融树脂接触熔合到容器2上的模内标签6。优选地,本发明的容器2典型地通过吹模法形成。
本发明还包括增加用于液体组合物的容器回弹力的方法。所述方法包括制造用于液体组合物的容器,所述容器包括含有液体组合物的贮存器和表面形貌,所述表面形貌选自由下列组成的组:脊、谷、凹槽、凹坑、凹陷、凸块、凸面、凹面、肋、突出、弯曲、凸起表面或其它表面形貌。所述方法包括邻近所述表面形貌定位模内标签。模内标签具有至少0.11mm(4.5密耳)的厚度。模内标签由选自由下列组成的组的材料构成:聚乙烯、聚乙烯共聚物、聚丙烯、聚丙烯共聚物、尼龙、聚酯、聚酯共聚物、聚乳酸、玻璃纸、聚氯乙烯、离聚物、乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物、茂金属聚乙烯、茂金属聚丙烯、以及它们的混合物。
III.液体组合物
本发明的液体组合物可选自由下列组成的组:个人护理组合物、化妆品组合物、洗涤剂组合物、药物和食品。
任何合适的液体组合物均可用于本文发明的实例中。例如,合适的液体组合物可包括洗发剂、调理剂、粉底、洗涤剂、肥皂等。优选地,制造本文个人护理组合物所用的液体组合物具有基本上相同的密度和/或流变特性。可用于本文组合物的合适实例包括但不限于1979年6月26日以Barker等人的名义公布的美国专利4,159,028;1982年6月15日以Barker等人的名义公布的美国专利4,335,103;2001年6月12日以Thibiant等人的名义公布的美国专利6,245,344;2002年4月9日以Thibiant等人的名义公布的美国专利6,367,519;2003年2月11日以Thibiant等人的名义公布的美国专利6,516,838。
在一个优选的实施例中,至少两种物理上不同,优选视觉上不同的液体组合物被采用。在一个特定实施例中,视觉上不同的相具有不同颜色。例如,一个或多个相可包含染料、颜料、珠光剂、色淀、染色剂、或它们的混合物。用于本发明的着色剂可选自例如由下列组成的组:红30号低铁色素、FD&C红40号铝色淀、色淀27号和色淀30号的D&C红色淀共混物、FD&C黄5号铝色淀、FD&C黄6号铝色淀、FD&C黄5号色淀、FD&C蓝1号铝色淀、Kowet二氧化钛、D&C红30号滑石色淀、D&C红6号钡色淀、D&C红7号钙色淀、D&C红34号钙色淀、D&C红30号铝色淀、D&C红27号铝色淀、D&C黄10号铝色淀、D&C红21号铝色淀、黄色氧化铁、D&C红30号色淀、Octocir黄6号铝色淀、Octocir黄5号铝色淀、D&C红28号色淀、D&C橙5号锆铝色淀、Cos红色氧化物BC、Cos铁红BC、Cos铁黑BC、Cos铁黄、Cos铁褐、Cos铁黄BC、Euroxide红Unsteril、Euroxide黑Unsteril、Euroxide黄Steril、Euroxide黑Steril、Euroxide红色素、Euroxide黑色素、疏水性Euroxide黑色素、疏水性Euroxide黄色素、疏水性Euroxide红色素、D&C黄6号色淀、D&C黄5号锆色淀、以及它们的混合物。
在一个实施例中,个人护理组合物包括至少两个物理上不同的相。
本文所公开的尺寸和数值不应理解为严格局限于所引用的精确数值。相反,除非另外指明,每个这样的尺寸是指所引用数值和围绕那个数值的函数等效范围。例如,公开为“40mm”的尺寸是指“约40mm”。

Claims (10)
1.一种用于液体组合物的容器,特征在于所述容器包括:
包含所述液体组合物的贮存器,所述液体组合物优选为个人护理组合物;
表面形貌,所述表面形貌包括脊、谷、凹槽、凹坑、凹陷、凸块、凸面、凹面、肋、突出、弯曲、凸起表面和/或其它表面形貌;
邻近所述表面形貌定位的模内标签;
任选地,封闭件;并且
其中所述模内标签具有至少114.3微米(4.5密耳)的厚度;并且
其中所述模内标签由包括以下物质的材料制成:聚乙烯、聚乙烯共聚物、聚丙烯、聚丙烯共聚物、尼龙、聚酯、聚酯共聚物、聚乳酸、玻璃纸、聚氯乙烯、离聚物、乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物、茂金属聚乙烯、茂金属聚丙烯、或它们的混合物。
2.如权利要求1所述的容器,其中所述表面形貌包括由凹面向凸面的过渡。
3.如前述任一项权利要求所述的容器,其中所述模内标签具有114.3微米(4.5密耳)至1016微米(40密耳),优选203.2微米(8密耳)至304.8微米(12密耳)的厚度。
4.如前述任一项权利要求所述的容器,其中所述模内标签包含聚丙烯、聚乙烯和聚乙烯共聚物的混合物,所述聚乙烯共聚物优选为乙烯乙酸乙烯酯。
5.如前述任一项权利要求所述的容器,其中所述模内标签包括外层和内层。
6.如权利要求5所述的容器,其中所述内层具有比所述外层低的熔点。
7.如权利要求5所述的容器,其中所述内层为可热密封的。
8.如权利要求5所述的容器,其中所述内层为粘合剂。
9.如前述任一项权利要求所述的容器,其中所述容器为倒头瓶。
10.如前述任一项权利要求所述的容器,其中所述容器由聚乙烯构成。
