Abstract

背景技术
许多机动车辆配装有合金车轮。这对车辆所有者来说很有吸引力。合金车轮除了具有“花哨”的外观之外,它们还轻质并且耐锈蚀。然而,由于路缘的损伤或与另外的车轮、石块或其它坚硬物体相接触,合金车轮会由于碎片的磨损和刮擦而严重受损。
本发明试图提供一种新的和发明性形式的车轮保护器,该车轮保护器十分有效,易于配装至多种车轮,同时在需要时易于拆卸或更换。
发明内容
本发明提出了一种合金车轮保护器,该合金车轮保护器包括大致盘形的盖子,该盖子具有多个在圆周间隔位置与盖子相配合的附连元件,以将盖子附连至合金车轮,其中,可以调整附连元件,以在不同的圆周位置与盖子相配合。
附连元件较佳地与轨道可滑动地配合,该轨道围绕盖子的圆周的至少部分而延伸。附连元件可以使用细长系带元件附连至合金车轮的辐条,或者可以借助配合于辐条后面的、可调整的锁定指状件附连至车轮。

具体实施方式
参见图1,合金车轮保护器包括盘形盖子1,该盘形盖子1通常由坚韧的热塑性塑料模制而成。该盖子较佳地是透明的,从而可以透过盖子看到待固定至其的车轮,但是也可使用不透明的或有色的材料。假如想要的话,盖子还可设有装饰性饰件。盖子1的直径足以覆盖合金车轮的外胎边缘,而不覆盖车胎自身,但车轮保护器可以不同直径制成以与不同尺寸车轮一起使用。尽管盖子由坚韧材料形成,但是后面2涂敷有弹性材料的缓冲层3,该弹性材料诸如天然橡胶、或较佳地诸如硅树脂之类的合成橡胶。假如盖子是透明的,则缓冲层3也将是透明的。后面2形成有沿周界延伸的、模制圆形轨道4,多个T形条5形式的附连元件可以任何合适形式与该轨道4滑动地配合。
T形条5可以由与盖子1类似的热塑性塑料形成,并且较佳地也是透明的。现在结合图1参见图2,每个T形条具有弧形头部6和茎部7,该茎部7包含与头部5大体平行延伸的一个或多个横向固定孔8。每个T形条的内面较佳地也涂敷有缓冲弹性层9,尤其是会接触车轮边缘的头部6。头部6的曲率半径与轨道4的曲率半径相匹配,并且头部成形为与轨道捕获性地滑动配合。
四个这样的T形条示于图1中,但是T形条的数量可以根据保护器将附连至其的合金车轮的辐条数量而改变。为了易于改变T形条的数量,轨道4的一个或多个部分10可以成形为能简单地与轨道4卡合式配合。一旦配合,就可将T形条可滑动地调整到所需的圆周位置。
车轮保护器使用已知形式的棘齿缆带12固定至车轮,该棘齿缆带12也较佳地是透明的,其中一个示于图3中。
图4示出了固定至八个辐条的合金车轮W的车轮保护器。为了配装车轮保护器,将T形条滑动至所需的圆周位置(在这种情况下,以90°的间隔)。然后,将缆带10插入穿过每个T形条的固定孔8,并且围绕辐条S进行紧固。然后,假如需要的话,可修整缆带的长度。
缆带充分牢固地保持车轮保护器,以防止正常使用过程中的显著移动。然而,假如车轮与石块或其它硬物相接触,则盖子将吸收冲击并且保护合金车轮不受损伤。假如冲击过程中在车轮保护器和合金车轮之间发生任何移动,则弹性缓冲层保护合金面,并且减少了磨损损伤的可能性。
车轮保护器在需要时、例如在销售车辆或更换受损保护器时易于拆卸。使用尖锐的刀子或金属丝切割器可容易地切割缆带12。
图5示出了配装至四个辐条的合金车轮W的修改了的合金车轮保护器。车轮保护器使用了如上所述相同的盘形盖子1,但是四对可滑动的附连元件15.1和15.2与圆周轨道4相配合,车轮的每个辐条用一对附连元件。附连元件可以由金属或与盖子1类似的热塑性塑料形成,较佳地是透明的。参见图6,每个附连元件具有头部16,该头部16成形为与轨道4捕获性地滑动配合,而径向突出的茎部17支承垂直定位的臂18。锁定臂支承锁定指状件19.1和19.2,锁定指状件19.1和19.2朝向彼此突出,如图所示。可以例如通过接纳在凹槽中来沿着定位臂18调整锁定指状件,该凹槽较佳地具有内部棘齿构造,这种构造可让指状件易于朝向头部16移动,但又阻止朝相反方向移动。还可采用其它调整指状件的装置。例如,指状件可以在臂18上滑动,并且通过埋头螺钉固定至臂。在提出的另一实施例中,指状件可以沿着安装在臂18内的内部螺钉移动,该内部螺钉使用艾伦内六角扳手、螺钉起子或其它工具来转动。
附连元件可以涂敷有缓冲弹性层,尤其是与车轮边缘接触的表面。
将每对附连元件15.1和15.2可滑动地调整到所需的圆周位置,直到定位臂18与相应辐条S的相反侧接触为止,如图5所示。然后,可以沿着相应的定位臂朝向头部16移动指状件19.1和19.2,以拉动车轮保护器紧紧抵靠在车轮W的边缘上。指状件可以形成为配合于车轮的辐条后面,并且防止附连元件围绕轨道4圆周向地移动。还可通过在轨道和头部16上形成相互配合的齿来阻止这种移动,当将指状件紧固到辐条上时,这增强其配合。
因此,附连元件将车轮保护器牢牢地保持至车轮,并且防止在正常使用过程中移动。假如车轮与石块或其它硬物相接触,则盖子将吸收冲击,并且保护合金车轮不受损伤。通过进一步减少车轮和盖子之间的转动可能性,附连元件可以增强对车轮的保护。
图7示出了车轮保护器的另一形式。在该例子中,车轮保护器配装到五个辐条的合金车轮W上。车轮保护器仍包括盘形盖子1,该盖子1可以如上所述,但有五对附连元件25.1和25.2与圆周轨道4可滑动地配合。再次,附连元件的数量和圆周位置可以改变,以适合车轮W的构型。附连元件可以由金属或与盖子1类似的热塑性塑料形成,并且较佳地是透明的。参见图8,每个附连元件是细长形的,如端视图所示,包括局部圆形的头部26,该头部26成形为与轨道4捕获性地滑动配合,该头部26通过包含固定孔29的颈部28连接至平坦的基部27。

车轮保护器可以使用两种方法中的一种固定至车轮。在一种方法中,柔性带30可与每对附连元件25.1和25.2配合,如图7和10所示。系带较佳地由热塑性塑料形成,以避免损伤合金车轮,并且形成为:相反的两端31和32可以与相应的附连元件25.1和25.2不可释放地配合。为此,孔28较佳地包含棘齿构造,这种构造以如上所述缆带方式与系带的肋端相配合。然后,假如需要的话,可修整缆带的长度。或者,系带可以由其它材料形成,例如弹性金属丝夹子,可将夹子插入孔28中以配合围绕车轮的辐条。
在第二种附连方法中,平坦的基部27可以使用聚丙烯泡沫材料自粘结系带直接结合至合金车轮的边缘。如上所述的附连元件角运动可让基部放置成平行于车轮边缘的相邻面,因此确保实现良好的结合。例如,这种半永久的附连方法可以与新的车辆一起使用,此时车轮是干净的和未受损伤的。
