Abstract

旋装过滤器组件和方法

技术领域
本申请涉及旋装类型的流体过滤器。
背景技术
旋装过滤器组件包括两个部分一具有螺纹凸部的过滤器头，以及可取出和可更换的过滤器滤芯。过滤器头通常永久性地安装至设备，如发动机，液压系统或发电机。过滤器头具有入口通道，用于将待过滤的流体输送到过滤器滤芯，和出口通道，用于输送已经由滤芯过滤的流体以供设备使用。过滤器滤芯通常包括外部容器或外壳，将包括过滤介质的过滤元件容纳在内。由于内部过滤介质的使用寿命有限，过滤器滤芯通常可用有限的时间。过滤器滤芯被从过滤器头取出并且处理掉，然后更换上新的过滤器滤芯。过滤器滤芯和过滤器头彼此可拆卸地连接，通常通过螺纹连接。过滤器头上的凸部通常会具有螺纹，而过滤器滤芯具有螺纹孔，以便匹配螺纹凸部。过滤器滤芯和过滤器头之间的螺纹连接有时会出现未经过滤流体的渗漏通道。就是说，有时未经过滤的流体能够沿螺纹行进，并且在没有首先通过过滤介质的情况下到达过滤器的净化侧。这种渗露可导致颗粒材料行进到下游设备，从而可能出现问题。需要加以改进。
发明内容

具体实施方式
在图1中，旋装过滤器滤芯总体以标记10表示。旋装过滤器滤芯10，除了隔板的某些细节之外，可以按照美国专利号4,369,113构造，该文献在此被结合入本文参考。过滤器组件10包括容器或外壳12，具有闭合端14和开口端16。外壳12形成内部空间18。过滤元件20可操作地定向在外壳内部空间18中。过滤元件20可以按传统方式构造，包括在第一和第二端盖24，26之间延伸的过滤介质22。在所示的实施例中，过滤元件20是圆柱形状，并且具有折叠介质24。过滤元件20形成开口的过滤器内部28。
隔板用标记30示出。隔板30可操作地定向在外壳开口端16上方。隔板30限定中央流动孔32。在优选的实施例中，中央流动孔32是出口孔，形成出口结构。
在不偏离本发明设计原理的前提下，可以使用隔板30的多种实施形式，一种类型的隔板在图1-3中示出，用于示例性目的。在所示的实施例中，隔板30包括中央毂34，具有内壁36，限定中央流动孔32。沿内壁36的是形成的螺纹38，用于可操作地与过滤器头40上的螺纹配合(图2和3)。在所示的具体实施例中，隔板30还包括多个肋42，从中央毂34延伸。从图2可以看到，肋42彼此间隔，以便形成区域或流体开口44。在优选的实施例中，流体开口44是入口孔，形成入口结构。
隔板30还包括槽50，并且在所示的实施例中，是连续的槽50。在优选的实施例中，连续槽50是圆形槽50。槽50由径向表面52和大体垂直于径向表面52的轴向支撑表面54限定。在某些实施例中，径向表面52是密封表面；在某些实施例中，支撑表面54起着密封表面的作用。紧邻支撑表面54并且与它相交的是毂内部36，包括螺纹部分38。槽50紧邻并且环绕中央流动孔32。槽50起着密封件如O形环的座部56的作用。在所示的实施例中，中央毂34沿隔板30的轴向面51止于中央槽50。
隔板30还包括密封结构70，它固定至隔板30，与连续槽50间隔并环绕连续槽50。密封结构70容纳在槽72内。密封结构70可以是O形环密封件73。当过滤器滤芯10可操作地定向在过滤器头40上时，密封件73在过滤器滤芯10和过滤器头40之间形成主密封76(图6)。应当指出，图6示出了过滤器头的替代实施例，用40′表示。该替代实施例将在下文进一步说明；不过，对于主密封76，它在图1-3所示实施例的过滤器头40和图6所示的实施例之间没有变化。
现参见图2，示出了过滤器头40的一个实施例。过滤器头40可以是传统的过滤器头，而不具有密封件60。在所示的实施例中，密封件60是O形环62，可操作地定向围绕并且抵靠过滤器头40上的中央凸部64。中央凸部64包括壁65，具有螺纹66，它与中央毂34上的螺纹38配合。密封件60定向在凸部64的近端90，使得螺纹66位于密封件60和凸部64的远端或自由端92之间。
过滤器头40一般包括部件85，限定流体流动通道68，包括入口通道67(图6)和出口通道69(图6)。过滤器头40还可以包括旁通阀。可用的过滤器头披露于美国专利号5,104,537；4,883,083；和6,024,869，上述每份文献在此被结合入本文参考。
工作时，当过滤器滤芯10旋装并且可操作地定向在过滤器头40上时，O形环密封件62容纳在连续槽50内，并且形成密封80(图3)。在图3所示的实施例中，密封80是径向密封，形成于隔板30上的径向表面52和过滤器头40的凸部64上的径向表面74之间并且抵靠隔板30上的径向表面52和过滤器头40的凸部64上的径向表面74。从图3可以看到，其他表面，包括轴向表面如支撑表面54，可以形成密封80的部分。密封80通常是二次密封，有助于阻止未经过滤的流体沿过滤器头40上的螺纹66和过滤器滤芯10上的螺纹38之间的通道流动。密封结构70还在隔板30和过滤器头40之间并且抵靠它们形成主密封76。
一旦过滤器滤芯10可操作地定向在过滤器头40上，在顺流系统，要净化的流体通过，例如，一个流体流动通道68(图6)，进入过滤器头40，40′。然后，流体流过隔板30的入口通道44。然后，流体从过滤元件20外侧的空间18，流过介质22，并进入开口的过滤器内部28。过滤介质22帮助除去流体中的碎片和颗粒材料。从那里，流体从开口的过滤器内部28流过中央流动孔32，并然后进入过滤器头40，40′。流体然后通过一个流动通道68，如出口通道69，流出过滤器头40，40′。
现参见图4，过滤器组件用标记100示出，过滤器组件100包括过滤器滤芯10′和过滤器头40，40′。在图4所示的实施例中，过滤器头表示为过滤器头40′，因为它不同于图2所示的过滤器头40。不同之处将在下文进一步说明，但是在其他方面它类似于过滤器头40。图6示出过滤器组件100的剖视图，沿图5所示组件100的俯视图的线6-6剖开。在图4-7所示的实施例中，过滤器滤芯表示为滤芯10′，因为隔板30有所不同。不同之处将在下文进一步说明。
在图8中，示出了过滤器头40′。如同过滤器头40，图8的过滤器头40′包括密封件60′，环绕凸部64。在该实施例中，密封件60′表现为轴向密封垫圈102。垫圈102定向沿凸部64的径向壁104抵靠凸部64，并且还抵靠垂直于径向壁104的轴向壁106。应当理解，凸部64包括螺纹，类似于螺纹66，但是所述螺纹没有具体在图8的实施例中示出。
再次参见图6，过滤器滤芯10′包括槽50′，它与图1-3所示实施例的槽50类似。在该实施例中，槽50′也是紧邻隔板30的中央孔32，并且延伸到开口44。槽50′形成密封表面，它也是支撑表面54。当过滤器滤芯10′旋装在过滤器头40′上时，在密封结构70和过滤器头40′之间形成主密封76。二次密封80′(图7)通过垫圈102和隔板30的密封表面54之间的轴向压缩形成。具体地讲，垫圈102在过滤器头40′上的轴向壁106和过滤器滤芯10′的隔板30上的支撑表面54之间受挤压。应当理解，在其他实施例中，垫圈102可以安装在过滤器滤芯10′上，相应的槽形成在过滤器头40′上，位于轴向壁106和径向壁104的相交部分。
图9-12示出了过滤器滤芯10′，它可用于过滤器头10，10′。为了清楚起见，图1所示的螺纹38在图9-12中略去。在图9-12中，可以看到槽50′，尤其在图12中。应当理解，如果具有槽50′的过滤器滤芯10′用于图2和3所示的过滤器头40，不会形成二次密封，因为在隔板30上不会有连续的径向密封表面，以便形成二次密封80。不过，过滤器滤芯10′可用于过滤器头40，并且主密封76仍在位。如果过滤器滤芯10′用于过滤器头40′，那么在支撑表面或密封表面54和过滤器头40′之间形成二次密封80′(图7)。
一般，根据本发明的原理，旋装过滤器滤芯(10，10′)包括外壳(12)，具有闭合端(14)，开口端(16)，和内部空间(18)；过滤元件(20)可操作地定向在外壳内部空间中；隔板(30，30′)可操作地定向在外壳开口端上方；隔板限定中央流动孔(32)；和，密封结构(70)固定至隔板；过滤器滤芯还包括隔板(30，30′)，限定连续的槽(50，50′)，紧邻并且环绕中央流动孔(32)；连续的槽形成密封表面(52，54)；和，固定至隔板(30，30′)的密封结构(70)与连续的槽(50，50′)间隔并且环绕连续的槽(50，50′)。

Claims (15)

(i)所述出口结构包括所述中央流动孔；和
(ii)所述入口结构包括多个流体孔环绕所述中央流动孔。

(b)所述隔板包括多个肋，从所述中央毂延伸；所述入口结构由相邻肋之间的区域限定。

(a)密封件定向围绕所述中央凸部；和
(b)其中，当所述旋装过滤器滤芯定向在所述过滤器头上时，所述密封件容纳在所述连续槽中，在所述滤芯和过滤器头之间形成二次密封，而所述密封结构在所述隔板和过滤器头之间并且抵靠所述隔板和过滤器头形成主密封。
