技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于药物产品受控输送到对象的输液泵组件,更特别是一种与输液泵一起使用的注射器组件。
背景技术
输液泵为在一段时间内需要多次输送体积比例药物给其身体的个体提供了重要的生活方式上的益处。输液泵通过建立在患者和泵之间的输液路径可靠地将所需药物分配给患者。输液路径是导管,其在一个端部固定到泵系统,且在另一端静脉内或皮下固定到患者。输液泵的操作由处理器进行控制。处理器控制以预定次数将药物的定期剂量输送给患者。因此,在一段时间内,患者可以依赖于输液泵静脉内地或皮下地输送药物的所需剂量。采用该方法,患者不必中断生活活动以重复手工输送所需药物。
众所周知的,输液泵通常采用活塞型驱动机构,用以沿输液路径将泵内部的药物筒或者“注射器组件”的内含物推进给对象。活塞型驱动器选择性地驱动注射器柱塞从注射器外壳分配所需要量的流体。
发明内容
本发明的特征和优点将在如下描述中得到阐述,且部分是在描述中显而易见的,或可能通过本发明的实践而被获知。通过如下的书面描述和权利要求书以及附图中特别指出的设备和本发明的实践方法,本发明的优点可以被实现和达到。
依照本发明的一个方面,提供一种与具有驱动活塞的输液泵一起使用的注射器组件。注射器组件包括基本上空心的注射器外壳,以及在注射器外壳内部轴向可移动以从其分配流体的柱塞。该柱塞具有主体,该主体的一部分被构造为接合于与驱动活塞关联的径向弹性部件,使得该柱塞相对于驱动活塞可释放地轴向固定。
依照本发明的另一个方面,提供一种输液泵组件。该输液泵组件包括胰岛素泵和注射器组件,其中胰岛素泵包括具有与其相关的径向弹性部件的驱动活塞。该注射器组件包括基本上空心的注射器外壳,以及在注射器外壳内部轴向可移动以从其分配流体的柱塞,该柱塞具有主体,该主体的一部分被构造为接合于与驱动活塞关联的径向弹性部件,以使得该柱塞相对于驱动活塞可释放地轴向固定。

具体实施方式
下面描述中使用的某些术语仅是为了便于描述而没有限制作用。词“右”,“左”,“下部”,“上部”指示了附图中的参照方向。词“向内地”,“向外地”分别指朝向和离开输液泵几何中心和其指示部分的方向。术语包括上面特别提及的词,其派生词和同义词。
参照图1,依照本发明的一个典型实施例,活塞型输液泵5被示出,其用于沿输液路径14输送药物24或其他流体(虚线)给患者。输液泵5希望地包含密封泵壳7,处理电路200,电池70,马达10,齿轮系28,导螺杆15和驱动活塞22。注射器组件12位于泵壳7之内,以使得驱动活塞22接合注射器组件12的柱塞20。
在操作中,由电池70提供电力的处理电路200控制输液泵5的操作。马达10增加地接合以预定的时间间隔将药物输入给患者。在接合时,马达10通过齿轮系28导致导螺杆15旋转。当导螺杆15由马达10驱动时,驱动活塞22被朝向注射器组件12轴向驱动,从而推动柱塞20。这导致药物24从注射器组件12的注射器外壳26中输送。输液路径14通过连接器27与注射器外壳26的分配尖端25(见图5)连接,以在输液泵5和患者之间提供流体连通。
现在参照图2-3,示出了输液泵5的壳7。泵壳7希望地由热塑性材料构成,且优选地通过密封其内任何开口以制成水密性。希望地,泵壳7支撑液晶显示器30,键区42,启动按钮44,电池门40,铰链38,泵门闩锁48,以及泵门36。为了将注射器组件12装载入壳7,泵门36开启以暴露内部输液端口50和电池门40。注射器组件12被构造为通过内部输液端口50轴向地移动进入泵壳7内部,以使得柱塞20轴向地接合驱动活塞22,在下文中将得到更详细的描述。在图2和3中,泵门闩锁48被旋转离开泵壳7,以释放泵门36,所以其可以在铰链38处枢转开启。电池门40是可移除的,以替换电池70。
本发明并不受限于已阐述过的输液泵。输液泵5可以具有多种构造,包括多种控制件,电源,驱动装置,访问端口和门,尺寸和形状。
参照图4和5,注射器组件12包括柱塞20和注射器外壳26。密封环29或类似物被提供于柱塞20和注射器外壳26之间,以将药物24密封于注射器外壳26内部。密封环29也在柱塞20和注射器外壳26之间提供摩擦力。该摩擦力轴向地相对于注射器外壳26固定柱塞20,因此需要作用在柱塞20上大于该摩擦力的轴向力,以使柱塞20相对于注射器外壳26移动。如下文中的描述,驱动活塞22被构造为选择性地相对于注射器外壳26轴向地向内移动柱塞20,注射器外壳通过壳7的门36轴向地固定到位,使得药物24通过分配尖端25而被分配。邻近分配尖端25提供连接接口23,以促进与连接器27的连接。可以提供多种连接接口23。
在本实施例中,柱塞20包括管状主体31,其具有延伸于闭合端部33和常开端部35之间的通常空心的内部37。常开端部35被构造为接收驱动活塞22,将在下文中进行描述。柱塞主体31可以包括排气孔32或类似物,以使当驱动活塞22进入空心内部37时压力逸出。内部环形槽39沿柱塞主体31的内表面提供,且被构造为接收如下文所述的径向弹性部件,以轴向地相对于驱动活塞22固定柱塞20。内部环形槽39希望地提供于邻近常开端部35,但也可以布置于其他位置。图4和5中说明的注射器组件12被预填充药物24或类似物,以备用于输液泵5使用。
参照图6和7,驱动活塞22包括管状主体41,其具有空心内部部分47,其被构造为接收导螺杆15。邻近于活塞主体41的开启端部45的螺纹44被构造为接合导螺杆15的螺纹16,以促进驱动活塞22的驱动运动。在壳7内部,通过导螺杆15独自地或通过其他支撑结构(未示出)支撑驱动活塞22。肩51可以围绕开启端部45提供,以在壳7内部进一步支撑驱动活塞22。活塞主体41的端部43被构造为接收帽49,其希望地由弹性体材料制造。选择性地,端部43可以被制造为闭合端部或帽49可以与其形成整体,例如,通过包覆成型。
外部环形槽53被围绕活塞主体41提供,且被构造为接收和保持径向弹性部件60。为了在其中辅助保持径向弹性部件60,外部环形槽53希望地具有展平的侧边55,其通常彼此平行延伸。外部环形槽53希望地位于朝向开启端部45,但也可以在其他位置。参照图8,当注射器组件12完全安装入输液泵5且帽49接触柱塞闭合端部33时,内部环形槽39和外部环形槽53希望地轴向对齐。
如图7所说明的,为了于输液泵5内部安装注射器组件12,注射器组件12轴向地移动通过内部输液端口50,如箭头A所指示。驱动活塞22的端部43通过开启端部35进入柱塞20且穿过空心内部37直到帽49接合闭合端部33。当径向弹性部件60通过柱塞开启端部35进入时,径向弹性部件60压缩,使得径向弹性部件60进入空心内部37。为了辅助该压缩,向内锥形部34希望地被围绕开启端部35提供。当径向弹性部件60轴向地与内部环形槽39对齐时,径向弹性部件60径向地膨胀,且接合内部环形槽39,因此,相对于驱动活塞22轴向固定柱塞20。径向弹性部件60,向内锥形部34和内部环形槽39希望地被构造为使得插入和使柱塞20可操作地接合驱动活塞22所需的插入力小于柱塞20和注射器外壳26之间的摩擦力,使得在插入过程中,柱塞20相对于注射器外壳26不移动。
通过径向弹性部件60接合于柱塞20和驱动活塞22之间,驱动活塞可控制地轴向固定于壳7内,径向弹性部件60提供了附加力以阻碍柱塞20相对于注射器外壳26的轴向移动。因此,等于摩擦力加上弹性部件附加力的合力轴向地相对于注射器外壳26固定柱塞20。然而,由于弹性部件附加力被提供在驱动活塞22和柱塞20之间,不必克服该附加力以驱动柱塞20轴向地向内分配药物。因此,可以获得在柱塞20和注射器外壳26间更可靠的定位,而不需要更大的驱动力。
选择性地,由于合力包括弹性部件附加力,减小的摩擦力可以被利用同时仍维持希望的合力。例如,包括构造为在柱塞20和注射器外壳26之间提供2lbs的摩擦力的密封环的现有技术的系统具有2lbs的合力。在本发明的说明例中,弹性部件60,驱动活塞22和柱塞20被构造为使得弹性部件60提供0.5lbs的附加力。因此,为获取相同的合力,柱塞20和注射器外壳26之间的由密封环29所提供的摩擦力只需为1.5lbs。因此,相对于注射器外壳26固定柱塞20的合力仍然保持相同,但是所需的驱动力,即,克服摩擦力所需的轴向力由2lbs减为1.5lbs。由于所需驱动力的减少,泵系统可以被更有效地操作。
当注射器组件12被移除时,与箭头A相反的轴向力被施加于注射器组件12。径向弹性部件60再次压缩且从内部环形槽39脱离。为便于这样,希望地,至少环形槽39的后边缘具有锥形侧壁57。两侧壁57都可为锥形。在希望的构造中,相对的侧壁57彼此所成角度在约90°和175°之间,希望地彼此约135°。为更进一步确保径向弹性部件60从内部环形槽39而不是外部环形槽53中脱离,外部环形槽53希望地深于内部环形槽39。在希望的构造中,内部环形槽39和径向弹性部件60被构造为使径向弹性部件60从内部环形槽39脱离所需的力小于摩擦力,使得注射器组件12被移除,而不分离注射器外壳26和柱塞20。
尽管此处特殊的力的值被使用,这些值只是为了说明目的而不是为了限制。其他的具有不同的相关的力的值的构造也在本发明范围内。

Claims (5)

1.一种输液泵组件,包括:
胰岛素泵,其包括具有与其相关的径向弹性部件的驱动活塞;以及
注射器组件,其包括空心的注射器外壳,以及在注射器外壳内部轴向可移动以从其排出流体的柱塞,该柱塞具有主体,该主体的一部分被构造为接合于与驱动活塞关联的径向弹性部件,以使得该柱塞相对于驱动活塞可释放地轴向固定,
其中柱塞主体包括第一环形槽,其被构造为接收径向弹性部件的一部分,驱动活塞包括第二环形槽,其被构造为接收径向弹性部件的一部分,
其中柱塞主体具有带有开启端部的空心的管状构造,所述开启端部构造为接收驱动活塞的一部分且向内成锥形,所述第一环形槽是内部槽,所述第二环形槽是外部槽,
