本发明提供一种聚乙烯醇制备方法,包括乙酸乙烯酯,甲醇,用氧化还原引发体系和复合乳化剂进行了乙酸乙烯酯(VAC)的乳液聚合,反应过程中可通过控制反应产物排出水的量来控制反应进程。最后在碱性甲醇溶液中对聚乙酸乙烯酯进行醇解制得高聚合度高醇解度聚乙烯醇,采用低碱法醇解比较好,副反应少,比较容易提纯,可以制备出高分子量的聚乙烯醇。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种化工制备方法,尤其是一种聚化合物的新型制备方法。
背景技术
聚乙烯醇相应的单体是乙烯醇,由于游离态乙烯醇极不稳定,极易进行分子重排转化为乙醛,因此聚乙烯醇不能直接由其相应的单体(乙烯醇)聚合而成,而是要通过某些酸的乙烯酯经过聚合成聚乙烯酯,再用醇解的方法获得,在聚乙烯醇生产过程中有湿法和干法两种碱法醇解工艺,也就是人们常说的高碱法和低碱法。湿法醇解工艺就是在原料聚醋酸乙烯甲醇溶液中含有1-2%的水,催化剂碱也配制成水溶液,碱摩尔比大。高碱法的优点是醇解速度较快,设备生产能力高,缺点是副反应多,生成的醋酸钠多,需要回收设备,聚乙烯醇产品中醋酸钠含量较多,造成聚乙烯醇纯度偏低,灰分偏高,影响产品的内在质量。干法醇解,就是聚醋酸乙烯甲醇溶液含水率小于1%,几乎是在无水的情况下进行醇解,碱摩尔比小。低碱法的突出优点是,采用低碱摩尔比,氢氧化钠耗量仅为高碱法的十分之一,副反应少,副产物醋酸钠也相应较少,缺点是醇解速度慢,聚乙烯醇产品中的醋酸钠因结构致密而不易洗去。
发明内容
本发明针对现有技术的缺陷,提供一种新型的聚乙烯醇制备方法。
为了实现上述目的,本发明采取以下措施来实现:
一种聚乙烯醇制备方法,包括乙酸乙烯酯,甲醇,其特征在于用氧化还原引发体系和复合乳化剂进行了乙酸乙烯酯(VAC)的乳液聚合,反应过程中可通过控制反应产物排出水的量来控制反应进程。最后在碱性甲醇溶液中对聚乙酸乙烯酯进行醇解制得高聚合度高醇解度聚乙烯醇。
本发明相对于已有技术具有如下特点:本发明采用低碱法醇解比较好,副反应少,比较容易提纯,可以制备出高分子量的聚乙烯醇。
具体实施方式
首先进行溶液聚合,在装有搅拌器,回流冷凝管和温度计,N2保护装置的250ml四口瓶中,加入26.5ml(25g)乙酸乙烯酯,然后将0.1g引发剂(偶氮二异丁腈或过氧化苯甲酰)溶于20g甲醇(可换算成体积加25m1)中,并将其倒入四口瓶中,升温并维持瓶内温度在60℃,开始记录反应时间,用变压器控制水浴61~63℃,注意观察反应液粘度变化和整个体系封闭性,反应维持3h结束,结束后,停止加热,冷却至室温,取2g反应液于已称重的表面皿上,放于80℃烘箱中烘干至恒重得到无色玻璃状的聚合物,连表面皿一起称重,计算其固含量。
接着进行醇解,根据所测固含量计算得到实验所需的聚乙酸乙烯酯甲醇溶液的重量(含有8g聚乙酸乙烯酯),称取该重量的聚乙酸乙烯酯甲醇溶液W克,加入甲醇的量为(48-W)克,搅拌均匀后倾入滴液漏斗内,于此同时在四口瓶中加入100ml含有0.5g氢氧化钠的甲醇溶液,装上搅拌器、回流冷凝管和滴液漏斗,在65~70℃水浴锅上加热回流,在急剧搅拌下用滴液漏斗慢慢滴入聚乙酸乙烯酯甲醇溶液,30~40min滴加完毕,若太快会生成冻胶,不利于醇解反应的顺利进行及产物的过滤洗涤,滴加完毕后,继续回流40~60min,然后冷却。产物用布氏漏斗过滤,每次用10ml甲醇洗涤3次(过滤液回收),产物放于80℃烘箱中,烘干称重。
实际中,本发明用作涂膜剂的成膜材料,以聚乙烯醇05-88为成膜材料制备的土槿皮涂膜剂,性质稳定,涂在皮肤上能迅速成膜,膜片不易脱落,且聚乙烯醇可直接与中药醇提液以任意比例混合。

1.一种聚乙烯醇制备方法,包括乙酸乙烯酯,甲醇,其特征在于用氧化还原引发体系和复合乳化剂进行了乙酸乙烯酯(VAC)的乳液聚合,反应过程中可通过控制反应产物排出水的量来控制反应进程。最后在碱性甲醇溶液中对聚乙酸乙烯酯进行醇解制得高聚合度高醇解度聚乙烯醇。
