Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明一般涉及牙科器械和医疗器械的清洗方法。更具体地,根据一个方面,本发明涉及一种对牙科器械和外科器械进行清洗以使腐蚀防护和清洗效率最优化的新方法。
根据另一方面,本发明涉及一种用于内科和外科器械的新的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,该组合物特别适用于本发明的清洗方法。
背景技术
牙科器械和医疗器械尽管是由不锈钢制成的,但是在维护周期中(洗涤、消毒、杀菌)仍然受到腐蚀。牙科器械由于含碳量更高而一般更容易受到腐蚀。为了实现想要的器械特性如表面硬度和持久性,器械制造者经常采取诸如热处理的加工方法,这样的加工方法也具有损害器械的耐腐蚀性的不良影响。为了降低腐蚀过程的等级和速率,或者甚至完全避免发生腐蚀,必须采取一些有效的腐蚀防护措施。
已知在某些情况下即使仅仅长时间暴露于清水中,器械表面也会开始腐蚀。已开发的一些用于清洗医疗器械的清洁剂含有防锈剂。通常仅在清洗周期的洗涤阶段使用该清洁剂,这些防锈剂的作用限于该洗涤阶段。这一般排除了清洗周期的冲洗阶段和最终的空气干燥阶段。为了也覆盖这些阶段,通常使用不同系列的化学药品。已知这些化学药品作为具有防锈剂的冲洗助剂。冲洗助剂起到了双重作用,(i)改变冲洗水性质以有助于器械干燥,和(ii)提高对生锈的防护。润滑防锈剂产品(surgical milk product)也可以用于防止器械表面在冲洗阶段后的腐蚀。
这样的方法需要用于洗涤周期的许多不同的化学药品。单独化学药品、操作和化学药品剂量分配系统的成本使该清洗方法花费大而且复杂。
医疗器械的清洗周期一般由多个连续的阶段组成:预洗涤、洗涤、冲洗(一般有两次)和干燥。预洗涤阶段用于溶解器械上的血液,使用冷水以防止血液凝固。该周期的洗涤部分使用热水/温水和清洁剂。根据需要来匹配洗涤时间、水温和清洁剂。使用许多次冲洗来除去在洗涤阶段溶解的污垢以及残留的清洁剂。
已经开发了许多专门用于超声洗涤器的由防锈剂增强的清洁剂,其中不推荐对器械进行冲洗以使清洁剂存在于器械表面。提供一个例子是由HealthSonics Corporation生产的超声溶液(Ultrasonic Solution)。清洗周期结束后,防锈剂保留在器械表面。这样的防锈具有时限效应(time-limited action),在常规的高温灭菌过程中将从表面蒸发或被烧掉,因此当器械接着用于患者时其表面基本上没有任何残留。
不幸的是,通过省去冲洗阶段以获得防锈剂的最大防护作用,器械的清洁度会受到损害。冲洗阶段的真正目的是冲掉在洗涤阶段松动并溶解的污垢,并且将污垢与所使用的清洁剂一起冲洗掉。
发明内容
措辞“非冲洗抗腐蚀清洁剂”将用于指由防锈剂增强的清洁剂,所述防锈剂在清洗周期结束后保留在器械表面,其中,防锈具有时限效应,在高温灭菌过程中将从表面蒸发或被烧掉,因此当器械用于患者时其表面基本上没有任何残留。
我们发现许多这样的非冲洗抗腐蚀清洁剂实际上能够有效地用于包括洗涤、冲洗和干燥阶段的洗涤周期(如在过程控制的喷淋洗涤器中),以防止腐蚀,而无损于清洗效率。清洁剂用于清洗周期的洗涤阶段以清洗并防止腐蚀(如用于超声洗涤器时),但是也以较低浓度加到随后的冲洗阶段,特别是最后的冲洗阶段。这保持了高水平的腐蚀防护,而没有进行前述的为了适当清洗而必须的冲洗。这种新的清洗器械的方法至少最后的冲洗含有清洁剂,不需要多种化学药品(清洗剂、冲洗助剂、润滑防锈剂)。
我们还开发了一系列专门配制的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,该组合物含有低泡沫表面活性剂和烷基吡咯烷酮或特定的烷基胺,该组合物在具有编程的洗涤和冲洗阶段的自动洗涤系统中对医疗器械进行洗涤/消毒时提供了腐蚀控制。
具体实施方式
如上所述,我们已经发现了合适的由防锈剂(主要地,这些防锈剂的生锈防护具有时限效应,在随后的加热灭菌过程中将从表面蒸发或被烧掉)增强的清洁剂可以用于过程控制的喷淋洗涤器,不仅可以在洗涤阶段使用,而且可以在一个或多个冲洗阶段使用,以使清洗和腐蚀防护最优化。这样的器械洗涤器的例子有SciCan制造的HYDRIM(商标)器械洗涤器。
表1表示在SciCan制造的HYDRIM C51W器械洗涤器的清洗周期中,预洗涤、洗涤和第二冲洗阶段的一般清洁剂用量列表。对于该机器,整个清洗周期的水的总体积为3L。分配到预洗涤、洗涤和第二冲洗阶段的清洁剂的总体积分别为5.7ml、37ml和11.37 mL。

使用者可以选择两种清洗程序(周期)中的任一种。指定的P1(正常)从预洗涤到第二冲洗大约运行5分钟,而P2(强化)周期耗时大约9分钟。在各情况下,均在预洗涤阶段开始时加入低浓度(例如全部强度的30%)的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物。
在洗涤阶段开始时加入较高浓度(全部清洁剂浓度)的清洁组合物并且当洗涤水加热至45℃时再加入较高浓度的清洁组合物,以提供清洗特性和腐蚀防护。HYDRIM机器操作的温度范围为室温至约70℃。该清洁剂也可以用于温度达到93℃的洗涤器/消毒器。
第一冲洗不使用任何清洁剂。第一冲洗阶段很短,洗涤阶段残留的清洁剂仍然可以保护器械。
第二(以及任何随后的)冲洗使用浓度降低的清洁剂(例如全部强度的30%)。在此,清洁剂用于腐蚀防护并用作冲洗助剂。清洁剂改变冲洗水表面张力以增强除去(排掉)表面的水。来自清洁剂的化学药品在湿的时候和干燥周期中也保护器械不受腐蚀。留下的干燥表面目视是干净的,没有任何有害残留物。检测器械表面的残留物水平低于23×10-3μg/mm2,这个结果相当于通常使用任何其它冲洗助剂时获得的结果。残留物看不到并且对器械表面、性能、使用寿命或维护周期没有不利影响。
根据本发明,可以方便地使用许多商购的用于超声清洗机的非冲洗抗腐蚀清洁剂。即,它们也可以在清洗周期的洗涤阶段后的阶段加入。然而,我们已经开发了提供优良的清洗性质和腐蚀抑制性质的、特别配方的低泡沫腐蚀防护清洗浓缩溶液,该浓缩溶液含有低泡沫表面活性剂和烷基吡咯烷酮或烷基胺。
发现本发明的清洗浓度以及含有至少0.005%低泡沫表面活性剂和至少0.005%C4-C16烷基吡咯烷酮或C1-C18烷基胺的稀释溶液令人惊讶地展示出良好的清洗性质/腐蚀抑制性质,特别是在清洗金属牙科器械时。某些这样的器械经常在清洗和冲洗后变得生锈,但是本发明的制剂能够防止生锈和腐蚀。
本发明的清洗浓缩溶液的pH为中性至碱性,优选为7-12。在整个说明书中,含水清洗组合物中成分的浓度以重量百分含量表示。本发明的低泡沫腐蚀防护清洗溶液的有效成分如下:
(a)约0.005-10%的低泡沫表面活性剂,该表面活性剂为选自聚氧乙烯/聚氧丙烯嵌段共聚物的制剂,该嵌段共聚物的聚氧丙烯分子量为1500-8500,聚氧丙烯分子量占总分子量的约30%以下;
(b)约0.005-10%的腐蚀抑制成分,该腐蚀抑制成分为选自C4-C16烷基吡咯烷酮或C1-C18烷基胺的化合物;
(c)约0.01-15%的至少一种助洗剂,该助洗剂为选自膦酸,如1-羟基亚乙基-1,1-二膦酸、氨基三(亚甲基膦酸)、二亚甲基三胺五(亚甲基膦酸)、二羟乙基亚氨基双(亚甲基膦酸)、乙二胺四(亚甲基膦酸),EDTA(乙二胺四乙酸),DTPA(二亚乙基三胺五乙酸),HEDTA(N-(羟乙基)-乙二胺四乙酸),NTA(氨三乙酸),2-羟乙基亚氨基二乙酸,三磷酸钠或三磷酸钠钾,柠檬酸,四磷酸钠,六偏磷酸钠,及它们的混合物的组中的配方;和
(d)约0-20%的至少一种水溶助长剂,该水溶助长剂选自二甲苯磺酸钠、异丙基苯磺酸钠、C6-C18烷基磺酸及其盐、C6-C20烷基多苷、及C6-C16二苯醚二磺酸酯的组中的配方。
术语“助洗剂”通常用于清洁剂制剂领域,是指一种能够捕获多价阳离子如钙和镁并将其从水中除去的分子。这样的阳离子往往使表面活性剂沉淀,形成不需要的浮渣或水垢。
“水溶助长剂”为用于提高表面活性剂在水溶液中的溶解度的化合物。它们的用途在本领域的教科书和文献中有描述,例如Milton所著的The Bookof Surfactants and Interfacial Phenomena。
尽管许多烷基吡咯烷酮已经用作表面活性剂,但是它们作为腐蚀抑制剂的有效作用是新的并且是令人意外的。据推测,这可能源于C4-C16烷基吡咯烷酮在溶液中变为两性离子的能力,所述两性离子具有吸收到带正电荷或负电荷的金属表面的能力,从而提供均一的腐蚀防护。
对于C1-C18烷基胺,这些化合物在中性或弱碱性pH下电离为季铵盐形式,该阳离子能够吸收到带负电荷的金属表面,再一次促进腐蚀抑制。
本发明的组合物可以选择性地含有以下附加成分:
一约0.001-20%的至少一种溶剂,该溶剂为选自二元醇、二元醇醚、C1-C6直链或支链醇和芳香醇的组中的配方;
—约0.001-10%的至少一种pH缓冲剂,该pH缓冲剂为选自硼酸、柠檬酸、磷酸、及它们的盐的配方;
—0.01-10%%的至少一种其它表面活性剂,该其它表面活性剂选自非离子型、阴离子型、两性及阳离子型;和
一约0.001-10%的至少一种腐蚀抑制剂,该腐蚀抑制剂为选自钼酸盐(例如钼酸钠)、亚硝酸盐(例如亚硝酸钠)、三唑(例如1,2,3-苯并三唑)、葡糖酸盐和羧酸的组中的配方。
在高含碳量(最低0.15%)的不锈钢金属棒上进行了一系列洗涤测试。该材料已经进行过热处理以降低耐腐蚀性。检查这些棒表面的“生锈”外观。
常规的非冲洗抗腐蚀清洁剂表明超过25%的表面由锈/腐蚀覆盖,而表2的申请人的制剂都表现出低于5%的腐蚀覆盖率;表3中给出的本发明抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物的最优选实施方式没有在测试钢棒表面产生可目测的生锈或腐蚀。

Claims (13)
1.一种用于清洗牙科器械和医疗器械的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,水溶液形式的该抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物含有:
(a)0.005-10%的低泡沫表面活性剂;

3.根据权利要求1或2所述的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,其中,所述低泡沫表面活性剂选自由聚氧乙烯/聚氧丙烯嵌段共聚物所组成的组中,该嵌段共聚物的聚氧丙烯分子量为1500-8500,聚氧丙烯分子量占总分子量的约30%以下。
4.根据权利要求2或3所述的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,其中,所述助洗剂化合物选自由1-羟基亚乙基-1,1-二膦酸、氨基三(亚甲基膦酸)、二亚甲基三胺五(亚甲基膦酸)、二羟乙基亚氨基双(亚甲基膦酸)、乙二胺四(亚甲基膦酸)、EDTA(乙二胺四乙酸)、DTPA(二亚乙基三胺五乙酸)、HEDTA(N-(羟乙基)-乙二胺四乙酸)、NTA(氨三乙酸)、2-羟乙基亚氨基二乙酸、三磷酸钠或三磷酸钾、柠檬酸、四磷酸钠、六偏磷酸钠、及它们的混合物所组成的组中。
5.根据权利要求2-4中任意一项所述的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,其中,所述水溶助长剂选自由二甲苯磺酸钠、异丙基苯磺酸钠、C6-C18烷基磺酸及其盐、C6-C20烷基多苷、及C6-C16二苯醚二磺酸酯所组成的组中。
6.一种用于清洗牙科器械和医疗器械的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,水溶液形式的该抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物含有:
(a)0.005-10%的低泡沫表面活性剂,该低泡沫表面活性剂选自由聚氧乙烯/聚氧丙烯嵌段共聚物所组成的组中,该嵌段共聚物的聚氧丙烯分子量为1500-8500,聚氧丙烯分子量占总分子量的约30%以下;
(b)0.005-10%的腐蚀抑制化合物,该腐蚀抑制化合物选自C4-C16烷基吡咯烷酮及C1-C18烷基胺;
(c)助洗剂化合物,该助洗剂化合物防止通过水溶液中的金属与所述表面活性剂反应而生成沉淀,该助洗剂化合物选自由1-羟基亚乙基-1,1-二膦酸、氨基三(亚甲基膦酸)、二亚甲基三胺五(亚甲基膦酸)、二羟乙基亚氨基双(亚甲基膦酸)、乙二胺四(亚甲基膦酸)、EDTA(乙二胺四乙酸)、DTPA(二亚乙基三胺五乙酸)、HEDTA(N-(羟乙基)-乙二胺四乙酸)、NTA(氨三乙酸)、2-羟乙基亚氨基二乙酸、三磷酸钠或三磷酸钾、柠檬酸、四磷酸钠、六偏磷酸钠、及它们的混合物所组成的组中;和
(d)0-20%的水溶助长剂,该水溶助长剂选自由二甲苯磺酸钠、异丙基苯磺酸钠、C6-C18烷基磺酸及其盐、C6-C20烷基多苷、及C6-C16二苯醚二磺酸酯所组成的组中,
其中,所述水溶液的pH为7至12。
7.根据权利要求6所述的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,其中,该抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物还含有0.001-20%的溶剂,该溶剂选自由二元醇、二元醇醚、C1-C6直链或支链醇、及芳香醇所组成的组中。
8.根据权利要求6或7所述的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,其中,该抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物还含有0.001-10%的缓冲剂,该缓冲剂选自由硼酸、柠檬酸、磷酸、及它们的盐所组成的组中。
9.根据权利要求6-8中任意一项所述的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,其中,所述抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物还含有0.01-10%%的其它表面活性剂,该其它表面活性剂选自非离子型、阴离子型、阳离子型、及两性表面活性剂。
10.根据权利要求6-9中任意一项所述的抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物,其中,所述抗腐蚀清洁剂组合物还含有0.01-10%的其它抗腐蚀化合物,该其它抗腐蚀化合物选自由钼酸碱金属盐、亚硝酸碱金属盐、三唑、葡糖酸盐和羧酸所组成的组中。
11.一种清洗金属的医疗和牙科器械以除去污染物并抑制腐蚀的方法,该方法包括:
(a)在洗涤阶段,在含有清洁剂组合物的水溶液中洗涤所述器械,然后从器械上排去液体,所述清洁剂组合物含有低残留的腐蚀抑制剂;
(b)使所述器械经过至少一个使用含水冲洗液进行冲洗和排液的阶段,至少在最后的冲洗阶段中所述含水冲洗液含有选择浓度的所述清洁剂。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,该方法还包括预洗涤阶段,该预洗涤阶段使用含有所述清洁剂的水溶液,所述清洁剂的浓度低于所述洗涤阶段。
13.根据权利要求11或12所述的方法,其中,所述清洁剂组合物为权利要求1或6的清洁剂组合物。
