技术领域
本发明涉及制造用于形成充填果汁、牛奶等液体食品等的容器的条状带的方法、以及用于容器的条状带。
背景技术
牛奶、果汁、矿泉水等饮料、流体食品等的包装容器例如由在纤维质基材(如纸等)/热塑性材料层的叠层体上附加折痕线、印刷外观设计而得到的卷筒状(ゥェブ状)包装材料等包装积层材料得到。在卷筒状包装叠层材料的内侧边缘部贴保护容器器壁重叠密封部的器壁端面的条状带,将该卷筒状包装叠层材料用条状带沿长度方向纵向密封,成型为管状,在菅状包装材料内充填食品,将管状包装材料沿横向进行横向密封,形成枕状的一次形状,分别切断,沿折痕线折叠,成型为最终形状。最终形状有砖状、8棱柱状、正四面体状等。

向容器内充填液体食品时,包装材料中的纸等液体漫透性纤维质层有可能从其端面露出,从而液体漫透至容器器壁内,但由于防水性条状带6覆盖该端面进行保护,因此可防止液体向容器器壁内漫透。条状带通常由低密度聚乙烯等热塑性树脂制成。(参照专利文献1)
在需要容器具有阻隔性能时,除了由低密度聚乙烯等热塑性树脂制成的内外层以外,条状带还具有阻隔层。
可用于阻隔层的材料有聚酯膜、乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH)、聚偏二氯乙烯(PVDC)、聚乙烯醇(PVA)、MXD(methylxylenediamine)、铝箔、铝蒸镀膜、使氧化硅(SiOx)、氧化铝(Al2O3)的蒸汽代替铝附着在膜表面形成的透明蒸镀膜等。

发明内容
在上述现有技术中,例如,EVOH虽然具有良好的气体阻隔性能,但耐湿性弱,水分会使其阻隔性能变差,并且价格贵。此外,聚酯膜阻隔性能差,但机械强度、耐水性好,并且价格低。目前没有适合用于液体食品容器的条状带。
本发明的目的在于提供一种适合液体食品容器使用的条状带的、廉价且气体阻隔性优异的带制造方法以及带,所述带适合叠层条状带的保护容器器壁重叠密封部的器壁端面的功能,即,在整体上具有防水性和机械强度,在与器壁的密封部分具有热封性,覆盖器壁端面的部分的气体阻隔性能良好,而且可保护条状带内部层中的受外部水分、大气影响的材料。
解决上述课题的本发明的条状带制造方法是一种制造保护容器器壁重叠密封部的器壁端面的叠层条状带的方法,其特征在于包括以下步骤:
(a)准备卷筒状拉伸聚酯膜,
(b)在处于被拉送状态(搬送されてぃゐ)的上述拉伸聚酯膜面上以一定宽度、一定间隔将含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体涂布成带状,形成多条乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜和无涂膜带域,
(c)通过粘合层在形成了上述涂膜的上述拉伸聚酯膜的两面层叠热封性聚烯烃层,
(d)将得到的叠层膜从上述无涂膜带域的基本上中间切断,得到多条条状带。
在本发明的优选方式中,含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体包含:水性介质、分散在该水性介质中的亲水性乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物、均匀分散在乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物内的微小层状硅酸盐。
本发明的容器用条状带为保护容器器壁重叠密封部的器壁端面的叠层条状带,其特征在于,包括:
包含拉伸聚酯膜的中间层;

在本发明的优选方式中,乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜包含:由含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体蒸发水性介质而残留的亲水性乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物、和均匀分散在乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物内的微小层状硅酸盐。
如上所述,根据本发明,通过下述作用机理得到有益效果。
在本发明的容器用条状带中,包含拉伸聚酯膜的中间层赋予条状带整体耐热机械强度,即使在制造工序中的高温气氛中也能保持带的形态,可赋予其气体阻隔能力。
涂布在中间层表面的乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜形成在条状带横向的中央带域,因此可赋予与器壁端面相向形成的需要气体阻隔性的部分充分的气体阻隔能力。
形成在涂膜两侧带域的无涂膜带域被夹在形成于条状带两外侧的包含防水性热封性聚烯烃的2层热封性最外层之间,因此可防止水分等漫透至带内部,从而保护不耐水的乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜。而且,由于不需要使用乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物,从而可减少乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的使用量,可以得到廉价的条状带。
包含热封性聚烯烃的热封性最外层可赋予带整体防水性,赋予与器壁密封的部分热封性。
即,可以提供一种液体食品容器用的条状带,其整体上具有防水性和机械强度,具有适当的热封性,选择性气体阻隔性能优异,且可保护阻隔材料不受水分损害。
在条状带制造方法中,在拉伸聚酯膜面上涂布含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体,形成涂膜和无涂膜带域,因此通过调整涂布宽度和涂布间隔,可容易地改变条状带的尺寸。
另外,通过调整涂布量,可容易地调节涂膜厚度,从而可以简单地提高或降低气体阻隔性能。

具体实施方式
以下参照附图对发明的实施方式进行详细说明。
图1为简略说明本发明的条状带制造方法的一个方案的步骤的断面图。
该方案的条状带制造方法制造保护容器器壁重叠密封部的器壁端面的叠层条状带6。
在步骤(a)中,准备卷筒状拉伸聚酯膜7(参照图1(a))。
在本发明中,聚酯膜为单轴或双轴拉伸膜。可根据条状带的用途、性能适当选择、改变聚酯膜的规格、厚度以及尺寸等。
在步骤(b)中,拉送拉伸聚酯膜,如图1(b)所示,在该拉伸聚酯膜7面上以一定宽度、一定间隔将含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体涂布成带状,形成2条乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜8和无涂膜带域9。
在本发明中,含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体为含有EVOH的流体,其介质可容易地从涂膜蒸发。所述介质有水性介质和溶剂类介质,优选为水性介质。
涂膜的宽度和间隔(即,无涂膜带域宽度的2倍长)可根据条状带尺寸进行适当调整。例如,当条状带的宽度为7.5mm时,涂膜宽度为4mm~5mm,间隔为3.5mm~1.5mm。
在本发明的优选方式中,含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体包含:水性介质、分散在该水性介质中的亲水性乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物、和均匀分散在乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物内的微小层状硅酸盐。
水性介质有水或醇。醇包括甲醇、乙醇、异丙醇、丙醇、丁醇等。优选为异丙醇。
含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体的组成比例为:例如,水50~70重量%、醇30~40重量%、EVOH 8~1重量%。上述比例可根据用途等进行适当选择、改变。
在本发明的优选方式中,含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体含有均匀分散的微小层状硅酸盐。
优选乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物中含有0.01~5重量%层状硅酸盐,所述层状硅酸盐的平均粒径在1~80微米的范围内、且不含有300微米以上的粒径,层状硅酸盐以50埃以上的层间距离基本上均匀分散。
作为这种层状硅酸盐的原料,可列举由硅酸镁或硅酸铝的层构成的层状页硅酸矿物(層状フィロ珪酸鉱物)。相对于聚合物,层状硅酸盐的配合量优选为0.01~5重量%,更优选为0.05~2重量%。
在步骤(c)中,在形成有涂膜8的拉伸聚酯膜7的两面通过粘合层(未图示)或直接层叠热封性聚烯烃层10。
本步骤中的叠层法有:将熔融的例如低密度聚乙烯同时或依次挤出层叠在拉伸聚酯膜两面的方法;将热封性聚烯烃膜干层压在拉伸聚酯膜两面的叠层方法等。
在本发明中,热封性聚烯烃有通过高压法得到的低密度聚乙烯、线形低密度聚乙烯、利用金属茂催化剂得到的线形低密度聚乙烯、中密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯以及这些聚合物的共聚物等。
本步骤使用的粘合剂包括粘合性树脂、黏底涂层剂(anchor-coatagent)等。
在步骤(d)中,将得到的叠层膜在无涂膜带域9的基本上中间C切断,得到2条条状带6、6。
在该方式中可制造2条条状带,但是不限于形成2条条状带,例如当形成10条涂膜时,则可制造10条条状带。
在读方式中得到的条状带6,如图1(d)所示,包括:包含拉伸聚酯膜的中间层7;涂布在中间层7的表面、在条状带的横向的中央带域形成的乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜8;在涂膜8的两侧带域形成的无涂膜带域9、9;热封性最外层10、10。
在优选方式中,乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜是由含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体蒸发水性介质而残留的皮膜,其包括亲水性乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的分散粒以挤压的方式(crushed)相互重叠形成的膜、和均匀分散在乙烯-乙烯醇共聚体内的微小层状硅酸盐。
实施例
实施例1
准备宽15mm的卷筒状双轴拉伸聚酯膜。
制备含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体。
该乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物中含有1重量%层状硅酸盐,所述层状硅酸盐的平均粒径在50微米范围内,且不包括300微米以上的粒径,层状硅酸盐以50埃以上的层间距离基本上均匀分散。
将含有均匀分散的微小层状硅酸盐的乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物2重量%、水60重量%、异丙醇38重量%在容器内搅拌,制备分散液。
一边拉送拉伸聚酯膜,一边在该拉伸聚酯膜面上以4mm宽度、约2mm的间隔涂布含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体,形成2条涂膜。
对该涂膜吹干燥用气体,干燥涂膜。
将低密度聚乙烯与粘合性树脂同时挤出层叠在形成涂膜的拉伸聚酯膜两面上,得到条状带。从中央切断带,得到2条条状带。
用上述条状带成型图2所示的容器,充填水,检测其阻隔性能。结果显示其有良好的阻隔性能。
实施例2
准备宽30mm的卷筒状双轴拉伸聚酯膜,在该拉伸聚酯膜面上以4mm宽度、约2mm的间隔涂布含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体,形成4条涂膜,除此以外,与实施例1同样地得到条状带,制作容器,检测阻隔性能。结果同样显示良好的阻隔性能。
实施例3
调制乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物4重量%、水60重量%、异丙醇36重量%的分散液,除此以外,与实施例1同样地得到条状带,制作容器,检测阻隔性能。结果同样显示良好的阻隔性能。
比较例
在拉伸聚酯膜面上没有间隔地涂布含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体,形成1条涂膜,得到乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物从端面露出的条状带,除此以外,与实施例1同样地得到条状带,制作容器,检测阻隔性能。结果,条状带的阻隔性能由于其吸湿性而变差。
要说明的是,本发明不限于上述实施方式,可根据本发明的主旨作各种变形,这些也包括在本发明的范围之内。
产业实用性
本发明的条状带制造方法及容器用条状带可用于将果汁、牛奶等液体食品等包装填充在纸容器等中。
Claims (4)
1.条状带制造方法,其是制造保护容器器壁重叠密封部的器壁端面的叠层条状带的方法,其特征在于包括下述步骤:
(a)准备卷筒状拉伸聚酯膜、
(b)在拉送着的上述拉伸聚酯膜面上以一定宽度、一定间隔将含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体涂布成带状,形成多条乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜和无涂膜带域、
(c)通过粘合层在形成上述涂膜的上述拉伸聚酯膜两面层叠热封性聚烯烃层、
(d)将得到的叠层膜从上述无涂膜带域的基本上中间切断,得到多条条状带。
2.如权利要求1所述的条状带制造方法,其中,上述含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体包含:水性介质、分散在该水性介质中的亲水性乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物、均匀分散在该乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物内的微小层状硅酸盐。
3.容器用条状带,其是保护容器器壁重叠密封部的器壁端面的叠层条状带,包括:
包含拉伸聚酯膜的中间层;
涂布在该中间层表面、在该条状带的横向的中央带域形成的乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜、在该涂膜两侧带域形成的无涂膜带域;
在该条状带两外侧形成的包含热封性聚烯烃的热封性最外层。
4.如权利要求3所述的条状带,其中,上述乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物带状涂膜包含:从含有乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的液体蒸发水性介质而残留的亲水性乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物、和均匀分散在乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物内的微小层状硅酸盐。
