技术领域
本发明涉及通过激光在由滚筒保持的印刷介质上产生印刷图象的装置,该装置的激光写头位于一横向构件上,从而可平行于该滚筒的轴线移位。
背景技术
本发明是基于提供前述基本类型的装置的目的,该装置确保仅当在激光写头前面有滚筒并且激光写头位于将被施加印刷图象的区域中时,激光器才准备操作。
发明内容
根据本发明,其是通过提供一个固定设置在该横向构件上、用于检测滚筒存在的保护开关来实现的,并且该横向构件支撑两个切换带,在该两个切换带之间露出具有印刷图象的宽度的激光写头移位区域,并且该切换带与另一个与该激光写头相连的保护开关相互作用,以便于在激光写头位于该激光写头移位区域之外时切断激光。由于该激光写头的工作区域被直接保护,从而可以省却其他一些需要的笨重的保护性测量。

具体实施方式
所示的装置具有带有至少一个终端凸缘2的滚筒1。其上可设置有图象的印刷印版(在这里没有明确地示出)被推到该滚筒1上,具体地,是一个用于提供印刷图象8的可擦除印刷印版(或套筒)。
横向构件3设置成平行于滚筒1,在该横向构件上通过滑架4引导一激光写头7。
保护开关10的支撑9被固定连接到横向构件3上。该保护开关10构造成一个不用接触就可感测终端凸缘2的开关。它防止了在滚筒1没有位于提供所设置图象的位置时,也就是说在间隔a处没有终端凸缘2时,就接通激光。滚筒1也可直接获取终端法兰凸缘2的位置。由于该保护开关10扫描滚筒1上在印刷图象8之外的区域,因而这种扫描可以独立于滚筒直径应用,并且有利的是,可以使用对于该滚筒直径可变的格式应用该扫描。
另一个保护开关11连接到激光写头7的滑架4上。该保护开关11与两个固定安置在横向构件3上的切换带5、6相互作用。这里,在该切换带5、6之间露出激光写头移位区域,该区域对应于将施加的印刷图象8的宽度c。该保护开关11被构造成通过移动到切换带5、6上而机械启动的开关,但是也可构造成与保护开关10类似方式的无接触开关。
在该保护开关10已经检测到滚筒1正确地位于工作区域中的条件下,如果该保护开关11位于该(露出)区域b中,激光可以操作。但是,如果该保护开关11超过切换带5、6的倾斜部分而移动到该切换带面对该激光写头7的端面上,从而离开区域b时,则切断该激光,这就使得该整个结构也适合于作为个人保护装置。
本发明不限于在与印刷压力独立的图象设置单元中的应用,而且也可用于这种装置,其中印刷滚筒具有在印刷压力中设置于其上的图象。

Claims (6)

1.一种通过激光在由滚筒(1)保持的印刷介质上产生印刷图象的装置,该装置的激光写头(7)位于一横向构件(3)上,从而可平行于该滚筒(1)的轴线移位,其特征在于,检测滚筒(1)存在的保护开关(10)固定设置于该横向构件(3)上,并且该横向构件(3)支撑两个切换带(5,6),在该两个切换带之间露出具有印刷图象(8)的宽度的激光写头移位区域(b),并且该切换带与另一个与该激光写头(7)相连的保护开关(11)相互作用,以便于在激光写头位于该激光写头移位区域(b)之外时切断激光。
2.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于,不用接触就可进行感测的保护开关(10)。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的装置,其特征在于,可以被机械启动的保护开关(11)。
4.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于,该保护开关(10)扫描滚筒(1)在印刷图象(8)之外的区域。
5.根据权利要求4所述的装置,其特征在于,该保护开关(10)与滚筒(1)的终端凸缘(2)相互作用。
6.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于,该切换带在面对该切换带(5,6)之间的自由中间间隔的端部具有用于该保护开关(11)的倾斜抬高边缘。
