技术领域
本分明涉及一种在网络设备之间交换数据的方法,特别涉及通过IEEE 1394总线连接的两台HAVi(家庭音频视频互用性)设备之间的数据交换方法。
背景技术
为了控制在家庭娱乐产品的网络中的几台AV(音频视频)设备,已经开发了所谓的HAVi(家庭音频视频互用性)标准。该标准指明了电视机、录影机、机顶盒和其它设备的控制,特别用于数字音频和视频流的交换的控制。设备通过IEEE 1394总线(例,LINK或FireWire)连接,该总线具有足够的容量来同时承载多个数据音频和视频流。
每个加入HAVi网络的设备自动安装它自己的应用程序和界面软件并由系统自动注册以使其它的设备知道它能够做些什么。已经标准化了最普通的AV功能的所谓的应用程序界面。此外,可以由系统内的另一设备控制HAVi网络系统内的设备的功能。
HAVi定义了使用用户界面(UI)的两种不同方式。两种解决方法原则上以同样的方式工作:网络(目标)中的一个设备向显示设备(控制器)提供用户界面(UI)元或者一种完整的用户界面(UI)。控制器分别地实施用户界面元或者执行完整的用户界面。第一模式被称为受驱动数据交互作用(DDI),第二模式是基于havlets的用户界面。
对于DDI用户界面图1显示了部分网络。显示设备1和受控设备3通过IEEE 1394总线5连接。在IEEE 1394网络中的目标设备包括设备控制模块(DCM)4,该模块为了创建用户界面(UI)向网络提供DDI元。同时,该模块能够通过命令本地化地控制该设备。
因为设备控制模块(DCM)在HAVi网络中注册,DDI控制器2能够“定购”DCM4。这是在DDI控制器2和DCM4之间的交互作用的开始,以向控制器发送DDI元,向用户显示它们以及然后把用户在这些DDI元上的动作转化为DCM中的本地命令。
发明内容

本发明基于以下事实的认可。以上描述的用户界面可以很好地控制一个带有UI的设备。然而,HAVi标准显示了在两台IEEE 1394设备之间建立服务的不足,例如,从可携式摄像机到录像机的视频数据的拷贝。这是因为用户必须处理两个用户界面,在一个界面上,他必须放映可携式摄像机,在另一个界面上,他必须把VCR设置为录像模式。原则上,依据发明的方法,使用单一的用户界面同时操作至少两台设备,其中第一台设备的用户界面作为主用户界面显示,第二台设备的用户界面在主界面的内部作为已简化的用户界面执行,其中所述简化的用户界面只包括与第一台设备结合的第二台设备操作所需的操作元。

为了帮助控制器在DDI目标用户界面内部执行它自己的元,DDI目标为接收器/源选择列表和已简化的用户界面提供占位符元并且提供用于这些元的执行属性。
响应从控制器发送到目标的预定命令开始在控制器和目标之间的交互作用。目标记住发送此消息的软件元并且返回标识数据(ID)。控制器使用此ID作为用于获得DDI元的完整内容的命令的参数,该DDI元用于在控制器设备的显示器上的执行。与目前的HAVi规范相反,DDI目标不仅必须提供用于构建主用户界面的一个根控制板ID,而且应该提供用于每一个主根控制板、已简化的控制板和已简化的源控制板的3个控制板ID。能够独立地指定这3个控制板标ID。然而,也可能只直接地指定用于主根控制板的控制板ID并且还分别地指出随后的两个控制板ID对应于已简化的接收器控制板和已简化的源控制板。
此外,接收器设备和源设备的某些功能能够结合起来,例如可携式摄像机用户界面的“放映”按钮和接收器用户界面的“记录”按钮能够由“拷贝到”按钮代替。这不仅提高已显示的用户界面的清晰度而且简化设备的同时操作。对于该处理,有强制性的是普通的用户界面的‘放映’按钮必须具有属性‘开始提供源’和普通用户界面的‘记录’按钮必须具有属性‘开始接收’。此外,‘开始提供源’和‘开始接收’的属性决不能被分配给整个用户界面的多于一个的DDI元。对于普通的用户界面能够分别地使用用于“停止”按钮的“停止提供源”和“停止接收”或者用于“暂停”按钮的“暂停提供源”和“暂停接收”。
本发明能够用于两台或者多台与总线连接的电子设备特别是通过IEEE 1394总线连接的两台或者多台HAVi设备同时操作。

Claims (9)

1.一种利用单一的用户界面(6)来操作经由总线系统(5)连接的多个设备的系统,其中使用控制设备(1)可以选择设备和其中按照存储在所选择的设备中并被传送到控制设备的描述数据为所选择的设备生成用户界面(6)和其中用户界面在控制设备的显示器上显示,其特征在于使用单一的用户界面(6)同时操作至少两台设备(1,3),其中第一台设备的用户界面作为主用户界面显示和第二台设备的用户界面在主界面内显示作为已简化的用户界面(9),该已简化的用户界面只包括与第一台设备联合操作的第二台设备操作所需的操作元。
2.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于在选择第一台设备之后,在主用户界面内部显示在网络内的至少一张可能的接收器或者源设备的列表和在从列表中选择第二台设备作为接收器或源设备之后,在主界面显示第二台设备已简化的界面。
3.根据权利要求2所述的系统,其特征在于显示两张分开的列表,第一张表包括接收器设备和第二张表包括源设备。
4.根据权利要求2所述的系统,其特征在于显示已组合的表,已组合的表包括接收器设备和源设备。
5.根据权利要求1到4中的任一个所述的系统,其特征在于第一台设备的操作元和第二台设备的操作元被合并为单一的公共的操作元。
6.根据权利要求5所述的系统,其特征在于第一台设备的用于数据流重新放映的操作元与第二台设备用于记录数据流的操作元联合。
7.根据权利要求6中的所述的系统,其特征在于通过从主用户界面选择接收器或者源在第一台设备和第二台设备之间建立流并且通过按“拷贝到”按钮启动整个记录处理。
8.根据权利要求1、2、3、4、6和7的任一个所述的系统,其特征在于所选择的设备提供用于产生三个不同的用户界面的元,这些界面是主用户界面、已简化的接收器用户界面和已简化的源用户界面。
