Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para la introducción y selección de una mutación hereditaria específica en una planta, que comprende transfectar células vegetales con ADN exógeno, en donde dicho ADN exógeno codifica una ADN endonucleasa guiada por ARN, ARN guía adecuado para dirigir la ADN endonucleasa guiada por ARN para inducir dicha mutación hereditaria específica y un marcador de selección; regenerar plantas a partir de dichas células transfectadas para proporcionar una pluralidad de plantas T0; cruzar las plantas T0 con plantas isogénicas que no comprenden dicho ADN exógeno para proporcionar una pluralidad de plantas de progenie; y seleccionar una o más plantas que tienen la mutación hereditaria de las plantas de progenie.
