LA PRESENTE INVENCIÓN PROPORCIONA UNA COMPOSICIÓN DE FIBRA DE VIDRIO, UNA FIBRA DE VIDRIO Y UN MATERIAL COMPUESTO DEL MISMO. LA COMPOSICIÓN DE FIBRA DE VIDRIO COMPRENDE LOS SIGUIENTES COMPONENTES EXPRESADOS COMO PORCENTAJE EN PESO: 57.1-61.9% SIO2, 17.1-21% A12O3, 10.1-14.5% MGO, 1.1-4.3% Y2O3, MENOR QUE 6.5% CAO, NO MAYOR QUE 1% LI2O+NA2O+K2O, NO MAYOR QUE 0.75% LI2O, MENOR QUE 1.8% TIO2 Y 0.05-1.2% FE2O3, EN DONDE EL PORCENTAJE EN PESO COMBINADO DE ESTOS COMPONENTES ES AL MENOS 98% Y EL INTERVALO DE LA RELACIÓN DE PORCENTAJE EN PESO C1 = AL2O3/SIO2 ES AL MENOS 0.285; TAL COMPOSICIÓN PUEDE SIGNIFICATIVAMENTE INCREMENTAR LA RESISTENCIA DEL VIDRIO Y MÓDULO, REDUCIR EFECTIVAMENTE LA VELOCIDAD DE CRISTALIZACIÓN DE VIDRIO, GARANTIZAR UN INTERVALO DE TEMPERATURA DESEABLE (?T) PARA FORMACIÓN DE FIBRA Y AUMENTAR EL REFINAMIENTO DE VIDRIO FUNDIDO, HACIÉNDOLO ASÍ PARTICULARMENTE ADECUADO PARA LA PRODUCCIÓN DE FIBRA DE VIDRIO DE ALTO RENDIMIENTO CON HORNOS REVESTIDOS CON MATERIAL REFRACTARIO.
