Abstract

Instalación de congelación para congelar alimentos en bloques, particularmente de origen marino, donde los alimentos se disponen en bandejas antes de ser introducidos en la instalación de congelación, donde dicha instalación de congelación comprende un aparato de prensado previo y uno o más congeladores de placas horizontales (2, 3, 4, 5, 6), donde dicho congelador de placas horizontales (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) tiene una o más placas de congelación horizontales (31): - medios para introducir bandejas en el aparato de prensado previo - el aparato de prensado previo comprende múltiples estantes horizontales en los que, en el uso, se colocan las bandejas, y una placa superior (21), donde dichos estantes (22) y placa superior (21) se apilan uno encima del otro, donde cada estante horizontal y la placa superior (21) se conectan con al menos un accionador de forma tal que cada estante y placa superior (21) pueda moverse de forma vertical, y que el o los accionadores puedan proporcionar una fuerza descendiente en el uso que fuerce el contacto de los estantes horizontales y la placa superior (21) con las bandejas colocadas en los estantes; - medios para transferir las bandejas desde los estantes del aparato de prensado previo a las placas de congelación horizontales (31) del o de los congeladores de placas horizontales (2, 3, 4, 5, 6); - uno o más congeladores de placas (2, 3, 4, 5, 6), donde cada uno posee múltiples placas de congelación (31) apiladas una sobre otra - medios para vaciar el congelador de placas (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) y transferir la bandeja para su posterior procesamiento.
