<p>UN MÉTODO PARA IDENTIFICAR UN LOCUS DE CARÁCTER CUANTITATIVO ASOCIADO CON CARACTERES NUTRITIVOS DESEABLES EN CANOLA INCLUYE: ANALIZAR UNA POBLACIÓN DE PLANTAS DE CANOLA O GERMOPLASMA EN BUSCA DE CARACTERES NUTRICIONALES DESEABLES; DETERMINAR EL GENOTIPO DE LAS PLANTAS DE CANOLA O GERMOPLASMA USANDO AL MENOS UN MARCADOR SELECCIONADO DEL GRUPO QUE CONSISTE EN SEQ ID NO: 1 A SEQ ID NO: 111; MAPEAR LAS PLANTAS DE CANOLA O GERMOPLASMA EN BUSCA DE LA PRESENCIA DE UN LOCUS DE CARÁCTER CUANTITATIVO (QTL) ASOCIADO CON LOS MARCADORES, Y ASOCIAR EL QTL CON E1 CARÁCTER NUTRICIONAL DESEABLE. UN ÁCIDO NUCLÉICO AISLADO Y/O RECOMBINANTE INCLUYE UNA SECUENCIA ASOCIADA CON UN LOCUS DE CARÁCTER CUANTITATIVO (QTL), EN DONDE EL QTL ESTÁ ASOCIADO CON UN CARÁCTER NUTRICIONAL DESEABLE EN UNA PLANTA DE CANOLA O GERMOPLASMA Y EN DONDE EL QTL ESTÁ ASOCIADO ADEMÁS CON AL MENOS UN MARCADOR SELECCIONADO DEL GRUPO QUE CONSISTE DE SEQ ID NO: 1 A SEQ ID NO: 111.</p>
