Abstract

La presente invención revela un método para la detección y la identificación de un rasgo deseable de mejora de las plantas, dicho método comprende los pasos de: (a) la obtención de material genético de una muestra de una fuente predefinida y (b) la construcción de una biblioteca de expresión a partir de dicho material genético. El método mencionado con anterioridad además comprende los pasos de: (c) la producción de plantas transformadas con dicha biblioteca de expresión con una eficacia de transformación de por lo menos 0,05% a 30%, lo que representa por lo menos de 102 a 1010 transgenes; (d) la detección de las plantas transformadas que expresan dicho rasgo deseable; y (e) la identificación de dicho transgén de dichas plantas transformadas que expresan dicho rasgo deseable.
