Abstract
La solicitud divulga en la cláusula 1 Desechos finos que comprenden por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio, CARACTERIZADOS porque los desechos finos: a) Tienen un contenido de sólidos de 78 a 90% en peso, sobre la base del peso total de los desechos finos; b) Comprenden partículas del por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio que tienen un i) tamaño de partículas en peso de d75 de 0,7 a 3,0 µm; ii) un diámetro mediano de tamaño de partículas en peso d50 de 0,5 a 2,0 µm; iii) un tamaño de partículas en peso d25 de 0,1 a 1,0 µm, medio según el método de sedimentación, y c) Porque comprenden partículas del por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio que tienen un área de superficie específica BET de 4,0 a 12,0 m2/g, medida por adsorción de gas de nitrógeno usando la isoterma BET (ISO 9277:2010). La solicitud divulga en la cláusula 5 un proceso para la preparación de desechos finos que comprende por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio, CARACTERIZADO por los pasos de: a) Proveer por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio en la forma de una lechada acuosa que tiene un contenido de solidos del orden de 5,0 a 45,0% en peso, sobre la base del peso total de a lechada; b) Moler en húmedo el por lo menos el material que contiene carbonato de calcio del paso a) para obtener una lechada acuosa del por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio molido húmedo, en donde las partículas del por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio molido húmedo tiene un i) tamaño de partículas en peso de d75 de 0,7 a 3,0 µm; ii) un diámetro mediano de tamaño de partículas en peso d50 de 0,5 a 2,0 µm; iii) un tamaño de partículas en peso d25 de 0,1 a 1,0 µm, medio según el método de sedimentación, y iv) un área de superficie específica BET de 4,0 a 12,0 m2/g, medida por adsorción de gas de nitrógeno usando la isoterma BET (ISO 9277:2010). c) Deshidratar mecánicamente la lechada acuosa del paso b) para obtener desechos finos que comprenden el por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio con un contenido de sólidos de 78 a 90% en peso, sobre la base del peso total de los desechos finos. La solicitud divulga en la cláusula 13 un artículo CARACTERIZADO porque comprende los desechos finos que comprenden por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio. La solicitud divulga en la cláusula 15 Uso de desechos finos que comprenden por lo menos un material que contiene carbonato de calcio, CARACTERIZADO por su empleo en la fabricación de papel, estucado de papel, alimento, y otros.
