Abstract
Reiv.1 Un material compuesto útil en procesos de tratamiento de aguas/recuperación de metal caracterizado porque comprende: a) Fibrillas amiloideas; b) Carbón activado; c) Opcionalmente un material de soporte; Con lo cual las fibrillas amiloideas y el carbón activado están en contacto directo. Reiv.5 Un filtro, caracterizado porque comprende un material compuesto como el que se reclama en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores. Reiv.7 El uso de un material compuesto caracterizado porque se utiliza un material compuesto como el que se reclama en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 4, o un filtro como el que se reclama en la cláusula 5, para el tratamiento del agua y/o para la recuperación de metales. Reiv.10 Un método para el tratamiento de aguas, caracterizado porque comprende el paso de: a) Proporcionar un material compuesto como el que se reclama en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 4 y agua residual; b) Poner en contacto el agua residual con el material compuesto, obteniendo con esto agua purificada y un material compuesto cargado; c) Separar el agua purificada del material compuesto cargado. Reiv.11 Un método para recuperar metales a partir de una solución acuosa, caracterizado porque comprende el paso de: a) Proporcionar un material compuesto como el que se reclama en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 4 y una solución acuosa que contenga iones metálicos; b) Poner en contacto la solución acuosa con el material compuesto, obteniendo con esto agua purificada y un material compuesto cargado; c) Separar el agua purificada del material compuesto cargado; d) Oxidar el material compuesto cargado en un entorno de lata temperatura para obtener metales elementales y ceniza; e) Separar el metal elemental de la ceniza.
