Abstract

Un método para recuperar metal precioso a partir de una solución cargada ácida obtenida de la Iixiviación con halógeno o hipohalito de un mineral, que comprende disminuir el ORP del producto Iixiviado cargado con un agente reductor en presencia de partículas no carbonosas en suspensión. El metal precioso se deposita sobre las superficies de las partículas, y una solución estéril que comprende sustancialmente todos los valores de halógeno de la solución cargada en forma de cloruro de sodio, bromuro de sodio o hipohalitos es recuperada.
