chaussée 4 montée à. frottement @;i as sur l'axe ciu. pignon de grande moyenne.
Time indicator. The object of the invention is a time indicator of the type in which a mobile dial carrying chronometric indications always moves in the same direction under a fixed dial, characterized in that the mobile dial is in constant engagement with a actuating member which periodically transmits to it a movement -produced by a driving force borrowed from that of the clockwork movement stored during the stopping times (read mobile dial,
this driving force being sufficient to make this mobile dial turn on itself at an angle such that each chronometric indication visible under at least one corresponding window is replaced by its next one, which remains motionless under this window for the entire duration of the display. a stopping time of the mobile dial, these stopping times being regulated by an escapement device controlled by the clockwork motive, and stopping devices being provided for and fishing that the mobile dial does not return in rear and is dragged beyond the corresponding position <un indication and the opening of a window.

<tb> a <SEP> wheel <SEP> P <SEP> (-fui <SEP> meshes <SEP> with <SEP> the <SEP> roadway <SEP> 45 of the watch movement.
The ratio of this gear is chosen such that the road, which performs a complete turn on itself in one hour, makes to accomplish. this wheel 11, of turn on itself during this nth time lapse.
This wheel e carries a small peg e 'to which is fixed the outer end of a spiral spring f, the other end of which is fixed under the disc f7 to an integral nianclion cl' (this disc.
The crown b is still in constant engagement with a cylinder exhaust member fl which is. freely mounted. with a wheel g 'which it is integral with, on a bearing screw g also screwed clans la. plate 1. This wheel gl meshes with an intermediate wheel h mounted freely on a screw â, worn hl, which wheel meshes with the.
roadway 4 climb to. friction @; i as on the axis ciu. large medium pinion.
The il'enl-i enages ratios are established in such a way that the carriageway 1, which performs one revolution per hour, makes the exhaust cylinder r1 complete a half-turn during the same time on itself, always in the Same direction. This.
exhaust member has two sizes, rIl and f12 arranged dianietralemeiit at different levels facing the den tures bl resp. b "of the crown b.
5 indicates the winding stem, intended for winding the mainspring (the watch and for setting the time of the latter using the time setting references 6 and. ' ï, causing the road to move 4.
F designates the seconds pivot which can be kept without changing the rotation of the. crown b.
The operation of this form (the execution and, the following: As long as the crown <B> 15 </B> is immobilized by the escapement member y, the solid part of the cylinder being between two teeth consecutive crowns, that is to say for 5e9 ', 59 "the spring f is plugged by the wheel c driven by the roadway i.
But as soon as one of the notches g1 q2 fl'en size g 'by ezemple'i appears in i # eai (1 of the corresponding toothing b1 of the crown, the latter being subjected to the driving force stored by the spring f by means of the pin disc d, the exhaust of a single tooth b1 occurs,
which allows the crown to rotate on itself by% 4 of a turn.
The driving force stored in the spring (which must be sufficient to effect this displacement of the crown b is entirely absorbed by this instantaneous displacement.
During the following hour, the spring f is wound up again as long as the crown is immobilized by the solid part of the cylinder dre g. Then, it is a tooth b \ which escapes through the notch g2, and thus (following. Each time the crown b is moved, the chronometric indication visible in the aperture a \ is replaced by its, following .
In the second embodiment (fig. 8 to 101, the fixed dial a carries two diametrically opposed apertures a1 and a2. The mobile dial is formed by a crown h also carrying at different levels two teeth b1 and b = of twelve. each tooth; but in this form it rolls <B> (Here </B> by means of six rollers -c which it bears on its rear face in a circular groove made in the plate A of the watch.
The wheel g1, integral with the escapement member g, meshes in this shape with the timer return wheel 6 and the cylinder g pivots, on the one hand, in a recess of the plate 9 and key the watch. , on the other hand, in a bridge 10.
The wheel d which drives the crown b carries six pegs d 'and is actuated by a wheel i mounted freely on the. floor. The spring f is fixed at one of its ends to this wheel i and to, the other to, the, wheel to. barrel 1c. The operation is analogous to. that of the previous form.
Through the window a2 read -in the reverse from noon to midnight; the corresponding indications of the old notation (the hours from 1 to 12. In the third embodiment (fig. 11 to 13), the fixed dial has a caliber (the already known Roskopf system watch. includes only one radial division (the minutes with (the indications numbered from 5 to 5, the hour hand being removed.
In this dial are arranged one below the other two apertures not shown in the drawing. The mobile dial is made up of a rolling crown b. on three rollers c carried by the dust-cover ring 3 and by a concentric disc b-. The crown b bears circularly. twenty-four time indications numbered from i to.
24, while disk fi 'carries a circular row (the twelve numbered hourly indications (the 1 to 12.
The crown b carries internally a toothing of twenty-four ogival teeth, which is constantly in engagement with a pinion d with six teeth mounted freely on a screw to. worn a'l screwed into the plate 1. of the <B>, </B> watch.
On the front face of this plate 1 is mounted freely on the roadway r>, above the barrel wheel!, A wheel e provided with two superimposed teeth el and e- (the six teeth, each (the ces teeth being in projection interposed between them, and while graining with the pinion f /. The wheel e is hollowed out internally to provide a housing for,
a circular spring f of which ii.ne (the bent ends f1 is, connected to. the. rose e and the other angled end f- to, the rose to. cannon @. The (slow el and.
c, 2 are engaged with an exhaust cylinder actuated always in the same direction so as to accomplish twelve complete revolutions on itself in 211 hours by means of either roadway 5 or timer transmission 6 .
This exhaust cylinder g pivots between plate 1 and a bridge <B> 7 </B>, and has in view (the two teeth el and ë = two in corresponding sizes, diametrically opposed g1 resp. G =. Thanks to these notches, after each elapsed hour, it lets out # itively a tooth e1 and a tooth e2, <B> z </B> allern, the wheel e then being subjected to the action of the spring.
f (Titi was lightly bandaged during 1, -.i9 ', <B> 59 "</B> by the cannon wheel 4. The saying that b2 being integral with the escapement wheel, he accomplishes. abruptly 1/12 of a turn on itself, while, simultaneously, through the intermediary of the pinion (1, the crown b completes 1 / .. l of a turn on itself.
Thus, two new time indications will appear simultaneously. in the counters, al and a2 indicating respt-ctivenient the new and the old note: a: tion (the hours.
In the fourth embodiment, fig. i-Il at 16), the fixed dial of another Roskopf system watch caliber has only one window (not shown ati ckssin? and the usual divisions of hours, minutes and. seconds, the the hour hand being held in place. The mobile dial comprises only the crown b1, the time indications of which are numbered from 0 to \? 3. The diameter of the escape wheel e is small so as not to interfere with the pivot 0 of the seconds.
