5. Water outlet device according to claim 1, characterized in that the scanning area of the infrared light sensor at the upper end of the water outlet (31) is present at the front, at least at one of the locations above, below, left, right.
The present invention relates to a controllable water outlet device, in particular for hand washing stations and sanitary facilities.
The present invention aims to provide a water outlet device which can not only be switched on and off easily and without touch by the user, but which at the same time offers a maximum of safety for the user. In addition, water is also saved because the water flow can be automatically limited in time and can be adapted to the respective use.
This goal is achieved by the water outlet device according to the invention, which is characterized by at least one infrared light sensor that can be exchanged and installed at the free end of the water outlet.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are subsequently explained using a drawing.
The following are shown in schematic representations:
1 is an axial section through a water outlet with control unit and circuit,
2 is a view of the water outlet of FIG. 1 from below,
3 shows a further embodiment of a water outlet analogous to FIG. 1, with a scanning area on the end,
4 shows a view of the water outlet according to FIG. 3 from below,
5 seen the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 from the front side,
6 shows a further embodiment of a water outlet analogous to FIG. 1, with a two-sided scanning area,
Fig. 7 is a view of the water outlet according to Fig. 6 from below.
The main parts belonging to a car wash are shown in the figures. A water outlet 31 with a water supply line 32 and an outflow nozzle 33 is surrounded by a casing 35. As is known, the outflow nozzle 33 can be changed with respect to its jet configuration by means of an adjusting lever 36. Inside the shell 35 there is a tube 38 for receiving the electrical connection between a two-way infrared light object reflex sensor, referred to as infrared light sensor 47, and a control unit 44. The water supply to the water supply line 32 takes place via a supply line 41, which is controlled by a solenoid valve 42.
The infrared light scanner 47 and the control device 44 are used for control. The infrared light scanner 47 responds in the scanning region 51, for example as a result of the introduction of a body part into the scanning region 51. An amplifier 45 amplifies the signal and enables the actuation of a drop-delay relay 46, which in turn controls the solenoid valve 42 and releases or blocks the water flow to the outflow nozzle 33.
The control unit 44 contains all the components necessary for controlling the water flow. It is usually powered by the network. It contains the amplifier 45, which converts the signal from the modulated infrared light sensor 47 into a control time signal for the solenoid valve 42. At the free end of the water outlet 31, the infrared light scanner 47 is arranged such that it directs the infrared light rays into the desired scanning area 51. Depending on the user requirement, this scanning area 51 can be provided at the bottom, at the top of (FIG. 1, 2) or at the side (FIG. 6, 7) of the water outlet 31. It can also be arranged on the face (Fig. 3-5).
As long as the infrared light rays in the scanning area 51 are not reflected back by any object (hand), the system remains in the idle state. No water flows.
If the infrared light rays are reflected back by holding out the hands or an object in the scanning area 51, a signal reaches the amplifier 45 in the control unit 44, which is passed on to the solenoid valves 42 in the form of a time command via the relay 46. So that the solenoid valves 42 cannot be switched on and off by hand movements outside the scanning field 51, each signal is transmitted from the amplifier 45 to the solenoid valves 42 in the form of a time command via the relay 46 via the time delay relay 46 (whose fall time can be set).
In the case of an infrared sensor, the scanning area can be provided upwards, downwards, on the right or left and on the front for the control of cold or mixed or cold and hot water, while with two infrared sensors the scanning area preferably on the right for controlling cold water and the scanning area on the side serves to control hot water on the left.
These water outlet devices are intended for the equipment of washing systems, mainly hand washing systems in the medical sector, in commerce, in the food industry and in the private sector. Thanks to the contactless operation, they meet the requirements of hygiene and health technology. The timed water flow also fulfills the requirement of saving water.
