The compounds of formula III are for the most part known or can be prepared by methods known per se, e.g. B. by the method known from German Offenlegungsschrift 1 924 770.
The amines of the formula II are also known.
The coupling can be carried out according to methods known per se. Coupling is advantageously carried out in aqueous, acidic or neutral or alkaline medium at temperatures from about 10 ° C. to about room temperature, if appropriate in the presence of a coupling accelerator such as pyridine, urea, etc.
You can also use the coupling in a mixture of solvents such as. B. water and an organic solvent.
AnionAO means both organic and inorganic ions, such as B. halide, (such as chloride, bromide), sulfate, bisulfate, methyl sulfate, aminosulfonate, perchlorate, benzenesulfonate, oxalate, maleate, acetate, propionate, lactate, succinate -, tartrate, malate, methanesulfonate or benzoate ions or complex anions such as that of chlorinated zinc double salts; also the anions of the following acids: boric acid, citric acid, glycolic acid, diglycolic acid or adipic acid.
In the cationic compounds of formula I, the anion can be exchanged for other anions, e.g. B. with the help of an ion exchanger or by reaction with salts or acids, optionally in several stages, for. B. over the hydroxide or over the bicarbonate or according to German Offenlegungsschriften 2 001 748 or 2 001 816.
The new compounds can be converted into dye preparations. The processing, e.g. in stable, liquid or solid coloring preparations can be done in a generally known manner, e.g. B. by grinding or granulating or then by dissolving in suitable solvents, optionally with the addition of an auxiliary, e.g. B. a stabilizer or solubilizer such as urea. Such preparations can be obtained, for example, according to the information in French patents 1 572 030 and 1 581 900 or in accordance with German Offenlegungsschriften 2 001 748 and 2 001 816.
The new compounds are used for dyeing or printing fibers, threads or textiles made therefrom, which are made from homo- or copolymers of acrylonitrile or as.
Dicyanäthylens exist or contain such.
It is also possible to dye or print synthetic polyamides or synthetic polyesters modified by acidic groups. Such polyamides are known for example from Belgian patent 706 104. Corresponding polyesters are known from US Pat. No. 3,379,723.
Textile material is dyed particularly advantageously in an aqueous, neutral or acidic medium at temperatures from 60 ° C. to boiling temperature or at temperatures above 100 ° C. under pressure.
You can dye the textile material with the compounds of formula I in organic solvents, for. B. according to the information in German Offenlegungsschrift 2,437,549.
Good lightfastness and good combinability with other basic dyes are obtained on the substrates mentioned above. The dyes obtained according to the invention have the advantage of a low combination index. Also good is the pulling power, the washing, welding, sublimation, pleating. Decatur, iron, water, sea water, dry cleaning, over-dyeing and solvent fastness. The dyes are resistant to hydrolysis and have good solubility in water and result in strong, level dyeings.
The compounds are also used to dye synthetic materials, leather and paper.
In the following examples, the parts are parts by weight and the percentages are percentages by weight: the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
example 1
26.5 parts of 2-nitro-4- (2'-ethyl) -hexyloxy-aniline are diazotized in aqueous, hydrochloric acid solution with the addition of glacial acetic acid as usual at 0 to 5 with sodium nitrite solution. The excess nitrous acid is destroyed with amidosulfonic acid. The clarified, cold diazonium chloride solution is left over one hour at 0 to 50 to a solution of 38 parts of 1- (3 'N'N'N'-trimethylammonium propyl) -2-keto-3-cyan-4-methyl- Add 6-hydroxy-1,2-dihydropyridine methyl sulfate in 500 parts of water. After coupling is complete, the dye is precipitated with sodium chloride, washed and dried. The dye obtained corresponds to the formula
