In the compounds of formula (I) the anion AC 'can be replaced by other anions, e.g. with the aid of an ion exchanger or by reaction with salts or acids, optionally in several stages, e.g. B. via the hydroxide or the bicarbonate.
Good connections conform to the formula

wherein
R, methyl or ethyl,
R8 is hydrogen, halogen or an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy radical,
R9 chlorine, R1O an optionally substituted alkyl or aryl radical or the group
EMI2.2
and R; Mean hydrogen or methyl.
The anion As is to be understood as meaning both organic and inorganic ions, e.g. Halogen, such as chloride, bromide or iodide, sulfate, disulfate, methyl sulfate, aminosulfonate, perchlorate, carbonate, bicarbonate, phosphate, phosphorus molybdate, phosphorus tungstate, phosphorus tungsten molybdate, benzenesulfonate, naphthalene sulfonate, 4-chlorobenzenesulfonate, oxalate, maleate, acetate, propionate, methanesulfonate, chloroacetate, borate or benzoate ions or complex anions, such as that of chlorozinc double salts. The oxidative coupling can be carried out by methods known per se.
The compounds of the formula (I) are preferably free from water-solubilizing substituents, in particular from sulfonic acid groups. You can, however, carry a carboxyl group.
Halogen in any case denotes bromine, fluorine or iodine, but preferably chlorine.
Alkyl radicals usually contain 1 to 12, or 1 to 6 and preferably 1 to 4 carbon atoms. If these radicals are substituted, they contain in particular halogen atoms, hydroxyl or cyano groups or aryl radicals, such as, for example, phenyl radicals; In such cases, alkyl stands for an aralkyl radical, e.g. a benzyl radical.
Aryl radicals, such as phenyl, naphthyl or tetrahydronaphthyl radicals, are in particular substituted by halogen atoms, hydroxyl or cyano groups, by alkyl or alkoxy radicals or by aryl radicals such as phenyl radicals.
Alkoxy radicals contain, for example, 1 to 6 and preferably 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
Hydrocarbon radicals are, for example, optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl radicals, e.g.
Cyclohexyl or phenyl radicals.
Substituents that do not make water soluble are, for example, halogen atoms, optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy radicals, preferably low molecular weight, e.g. Alkyl or alkoxy radicals containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms, the cyano or nitro group, an optionally substituted alkyl or arylsulphonyl group, e.g. a methyl, ethyl or phenylsulfonyl radical, an acylated amino group, a substituted sulfonic acid amide group, e.g. a disubstituted sulfonic acid amide group, etc.

Heterocyclic, preferably 5- or 6-membered ring systems that form the skeleton
EMI2.3
These are based on, for example, thiazoles, such as benzothiazoles, thiadiazoles, indazoles, imidazoles, oxazoles, isoxazoles, pyrazoles, pyridines, quinolines, etc.
Compounds of the formula (IX) can be obtained if an optionally substituted 1-aminobenzene is used
Reacts 1 or 2 moles of an acrylamide.
The new dyes are used for dyeing or printing fibers, threads or textiles made therefrom, which consist of acrylonitrile polymers or acrylonitrile copolymers or contain such.
You can also dye or print synthetic polyamides or synthetic polyesters which have been modified by an acidic group. Such polyamides are known, for example, from Belgian patent specification 706 104. The corresponding polyesters are known from U.S. Patents 3,018,272 or 3,379,723.
They are also used to color plastic masses or leather or to color paper.
It is particularly advantageous to dye in an aqueous, neutral or acidic medium at temperatures of 60-100 ° C. or at temperatures above 100 ° C. under pressure. Very level dyeings are obtained even without the use of retarders.
Mixed fabrics which contain a proportion of polyacrylonitrile fibers can also be dyed very well. Those dyes which have good solubility in organic solvents are also suitable for coloring natural plastic masses or dissolved or undissolved plastic, synthetic resin or natural resin masses. Some of the dyes can be used, for example, to dye tannin cotton, regenerated cellulose or synthetic polyamides. It has been shown that mixtures of two or more of the new dyes can also advantageously be used. The dyeings obtained have good light fastness and good wet fastness properties.
Compared to the closest comparable dyes from US Pat. No. 3,132,132, the dyes of the formula (1), also colored on polyacrylonitrile, have better lightfastness and better leveling properties.
In the following example, parts are parts by weight, percentages are percentages by weight. The temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.

are mixed in 500 parts of water. The solution is introduced into a mixture consisting of 60 parts of hydrazine hydrate in 400 parts of water at 0 in the course of 45 minutes. The 1,2-dimethyl-6-nitro-3-indazolonhydrazone precipitates. After stirring for 10 minutes, 120 parts by volume of 1 N hydrochloric acid are added in portions, whereupon the precipitate goes into solution. The hydrochloride is precipitated by adding 100 parts of common salt. The precipitate is filtered off and dried. The product can be recrystallized from water.
26 parts of the 1,2-dimethyl-6-nitro-3-indazolonhydrazone hydrochloride obtained are dissolved in 500 parts of water.
A solution consisting of 19.9 parts of N-s-propionamido-2-chloro-aniline in 40 parts of glacial acetic acid is added, followed by a solution of 10 parts of sodium chlorite in 100 parts of water over a period of 30 minutes. After stirring for 4 hours at room temperature, the mixture is warmed to 60-709 and the dye is precipitated by adding 150 parts of a saturated sodium chloride solution and 28 parts of zinc chloride.
After cooling, the precipitate is filtered off, washed with 10% brine and dried. It dyes polyacrylonitrile in level violet shades with good lightfastness and good wetfastness.
}; aure regulation
20 parts of the dye from Example 1 are mixed with 80 parts of dextrin in a ball mill for 48 hours. 1 part of the preparation obtained in this way is made into a paste with 1 part of 40% acetic acid, 200 parts of demineralized water are poured over the paste and briefly boiled. It is diluted with 7000 parts of demineralized water, 2 parts of glacial acetic acid are added and, at 600, 100 parts of polyacrylonitrile fabric are added to the bath.
The material can be pretreated beforehand for 10 to 15 minutes at 60 in a bath consisting of 8000 parts of water and 2 parts of glacial acetic acid.
The mixture is heated to 98-100 within 30 minutes, boiled for 1 & 2 hours and rinsed. A violet dyeing with good lightfastness and good wetfastnesses is obtained.
