implements.
Good connections conform to the formula

wherein the ring D can be further substituted.
The new compounds are also used for dyeing or printing synthetic polyamides or synthetic polyesters which have been modified by acidic groups. Such polyamides are known, for example, from Belgian patent specification 706 104. The corresponding polyesters are known from US patents 3,018,272 or 3,379,723.
It is generally particularly advantageous to dye in an aqueous, neutral or acidic medium at temperatures of 60-100 ° C. or at temperatures above 100 ° C. under pressure. In this way, level colorations are obtained even without the use of retarders.
Mixed fabrics which contain a proportion of polyacrylonitrile fibers can also be dyed very well. Those compounds which have good solubility in organic solvents are also suitable for coloring natural plastic compositions or dissolved or undissolved plastic or natural resin compositions. It has been shown that mixtures of two or more of the new compounds or mixtures with other cationic dyes can also advantageously be used; d. H. the connections can be easily combined. They are also used to color plastic masses or leather or to color paper.
In particular on acrylonitrile polymers or copolymers, but also on other substrates, level dyeings with good lightfastness and good wetfastnesses are obtained.
The new compounds can be converted into coloring preparations. The processing z. B. in stable liquid or solid dye preparations can be done in well known manner, for. B. by grinding or granulating or then dissolving in suitable solvents, optionally with the addition of an auxiliary, e.g. B. a stabilizer.
In each case, halogen is preferably to be understood as meaning chlorine, bromine or fluorine.
Hydrocarbon radicals are, for example, optionally substituted alkyl, such as cycloalkyl radicals or optionally substituted aryl radicals, e.g. B. cyclohexyl, alkylcylohexyl or phenyl radicals.
Alkyl radicals, e.g. B. straight-chain or branched alkyl radicals usually contain 1 to 12, or 1 to 6 and preferably 1, 2, 3 or 4 carbon atoms. If these radicals are substituted, they contain in particular halogen atoms, hydroxyl or cyano groups or aryl radicals, such as, for example, phenyl radicals; In such cases, alkyl represents an aralkyl radical, e.g. B. a benzyl radical. Alkoxy radicals contain, for example, 1 to 6 and preferably 1, 2 or 3 carbon atoms.
Alkylene radicals can be straight-chain or branched and substituted, for example, by halogen atoms, hydroxyl or cyano groups; they can contain 1 to 6 and preferably 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
Divalent radicals can e.g. B. optionally substituted hydrocarbon radicals, such as optionally substituted alkylene or alkenylene radicals, phenylene or cyclohexylene radicals, it being possible in general for the alkylene radicals to be interrupted by heteroatoms such as oxygen, sulfur or nitrogen atoms.
Divalent residues can also be

R2 and R3 can together with the adjacent N atom form heterocycles, e.g. B. a pyrrolidine, piperidine, morpholine, aziridine or piperazine ring.
The radical R2 together with R4 and / or the radical R3 together with R5 and the N atoms adjacent to these substituents can form a saturated or unsaturated, advantageously 5- or 6-membered heterocycle, such as a pyrazolidine, pyridazine or pyrazoline ring, e.g. B. trimethylene pyrazolidine or tetramethylene pyrazolidine, etc.
The radicals R6 and R7 can form a heterocycle together with the adjacent N atom, for example a pyrrolidine, piperidine, morpholine, aziridine or piperazine ring.
The radicals R6, R7 and R8 can form a heterocycle together with the neighboring N atoms, e.g. B. a group of the formula

or stand for a pyridine ring.
The radicals A are preferably those of the hydrohalic acids, A preferably represents chlorine or bromine. Further acid residues A are, for example, those of sulfuric acid, a sulfonic acid or hydrogen sulfide.
All residues of an aromatic character, e.g. B. aromatic-carbocyclic, such as. B. the rings B and / or D, or aromatic table-heterocyclic radicals, such as aryl radicals, z. B. phenyl, naphthyl or tetrahydronaphthyl or pyridyl, quinolyl or tetrahydroquinolyl radicals, can carry substituents, especially non-water-solubilizing substituents, e.g. B. halogen atoms, nitro, amino, cyano, rhodan, hydroxyl, alkyl, alkoxy, trifluoroalkyl, trichloroalkyl, phenyl, phenyloxy, alkylamino, dialkylamino, acyl, acyloxy acylamino such as B. urethane, alkylsulfonyl, arylsulfonyl, sulfonic acid amide, alkyl sulfonic acid amide, dialkyl sulfonic acid amide, aryl sulfonic acid amide group, arylazo, z. B. Phenylazo, Diphenylazo, Naphthylazo, etc.
But you can also carry the -COOH group.
In the compounds of the formula (I), the anion AO can be exchanged for other anions, e.g. B. with the help of an ion exchanger or by reaction with salts or acids, optionally in several stages, e.g. B. via the hydroxide or the bicarbonate.
Anion Ao is understood to mean both organic and inorganic ions, such as, for. B. halogen, such as chloride, bromide or iodide, sulfate, disulfate, methyl sulfate, aminosulfonate, perchlorate, carbonate, bicarbonate, phosphate, phosphorus molybdate, phosphotungstate, phosphotungsten molybdate, benzenesulfonate -, naphthalene sulfonate, 4-chlorobenzenesulfonate, oxalate, maleate, acetate, propionate, lactate, succinate, chloroacetate, tartrate, methanesulfonate or benzoate ions or complex anions, such as that of chlorozinc double salts.
The reaction of a compound of the formula (V) with a compound of the formula (VI) or (VII) is preferably carried out in an organic solvent and at temperatures from -50 "C to +250" C, advantageously at -10 "C to +120 0C.
US Pat. No. 2,834,793 et al. a. the dye of the formula
EMI3.1
known for coloring polyacrylonitrile.
It is surprising that the compounds of the formula (1), also colored on polyacrylonitrile, are more strongly colored than the dye (a).
In the following examples, the parts are parts by weight, the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
example 1
With stirring, in 250 parts of 95 "water, 19.7 parts of aminoazobenzene, 28 parts of 4-chloro-3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonic acid-2'-hydroxy-ethylamide (prepared from 4-chloro-3-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid chloride and 2 Hydroxyethylamine) and 20 parts of calcium carbonate are added, the reaction mixture is then mixed with hydrochloric acid and cooled to room temperature, the crystalline, yellow dye is filtered off, washed with water, dried and purified by recrystallization. 20.5 parts of the product thus obtained are filtered off dissolved in 280 parts of dimethylformamide, treated with 7.9 parts of thionyl chloride and the solution was stirred at 50%.
The resulting, halogen-containing yellow dye is precipitated by dilution with water, filtered off, washed out with water and dried.
8.6 parts of the 4 "- (phenylazo) -diphenylamine-2-nitro4-sulfonic acid-2" '- chloroethylamide obtained in this way are dissolved in 150 parts of dimethylformamide, 2.4 parts of asymmetrical dimethylhydrazine are added and the solution is kept at 45 for several hours The solution is then diluted with water and made mineral acid with hydrochloric acid.
The quaternary dye is salted out as chloride. Dried, recrystallized and ground, a reddish-tinged yellow powder is obtained which dyes polyacrylonitrile fibers in real, yellow tones.
Staining instructions
20 parts of the dye from Example 1 are mixed with 80 parts of dextrin in a ball mill for 48 hours, 1 part of the preparation obtained in this way is made into a paste with 1 part of 400 / acetic acid, 200 parts of demineralized water are poured over the pulp and briefly boiled.
It is diluted with 7000 parts of demineralized water, 2 parts of glacial acetic acid are added and at 60, 100 parts of polyacrylonitrile fabric are added to the bath. The material can be pretreated beforehand for 10 to 15 minutes at 60 in a bath consisting of 8000 parts of water and 2 parts of glacial acetic acid.
The mixture is heated to 98-100 "within 30 minutes, boiled for 1 k hours and rinsed. A yellow dyeing with good lightfastness and good wet fastness properties is obtained.
