Caméra cinématographique avec poignée rabattable incorporée L'invention se rapporte à une caméra cinématogra phique avec poignée rabattable incorporée, au moins une fonction de cette caméra étant commandée par un cir cuit électrique comprenant un contact actionné par la poignée, de façon à interrompre ledit circuit en position rabattue de la poignée.
La disposition précitée, qui a pour but d'éviter une consommation de courant lorsque la caméra n'est pas utilisée, ceci sans que l'usager soit obligé d'actionner spécialement un interrupteur pour ouvrir le circuit, pré sente toutefois un inconvénient. En effet, dans certains cas, l'usager peut désirer effectuer une prise de vues sans amener la poignée en position déployée. Il est donc nécessaire de prévoir des moyens permettant de rétablir le circuit électrique dans ce cas.
A cet effet, il a déjà été proposé, par exemple dans le brevet allemand Na 1268962, de prévoir un interrupteur placé au fond du pas de vis de fixation du trépied, de façon à être actionné lorsque la caméra est vissée sur un trépied et que, par conséquent elle est utilisée avec la poignée en position rabattue.
Cette solution remédie dans une certaine mesure à l'inconvénient précité. Toutefois, si l'usager n'utilise pas de trépied et veut appuyer sa caméra sur un objet, par exemple un meuble ou un mur, il ne peut pas le faire sans déployer la poignée pour mettre le circuit électrique en état de fonctionnement.
Une autre solution, indiquée par exemple dans le brevet suisse N- 459746, consiste à prévoir un interrup teur shuntant celui actionné par la poignée, cet interrup teur étant fermé dès qu'un câble de déclenchement est fixé à la caméra. Ainsi, lorsque la caméra est pourvue du câble de déclenchement, le circuit électrique ne peut plus être coupé par l'interrupteur de la poignée, et la caméra est en état de marche pour n'importe quelle posi tion de la poignée. Toutefois, dans ce cas, l'opérateur doit avoir sous la main le câble de déclenchement et l'accoupler à la caméra.
La présente invention a pour but de permettre la mise en fonction du circuit électrique dans une caméra du type précité indépendamment de la position de la poignée et sans qu'il soit nécessaire de fixer la caméra sur un trépied ou d'équiper la caméra d'un câble de déclenchement. Ce but est atteint grâce au fait que l'extrémité de la poignée comprend un élément dépla- çable manuellement pour permettre de fermer le contact lorsque la poignée est en position rabattue de non- utilisation.
Le dessin annexé représente, schématiquement et à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en élévation de la caméra avec coupe partielle, poignée rabattue et position de non- fonctionnement.
La fig. 2 est une coupe selon la ligne 11-11 de la fig. 1. La fig. 3 est une vue partielle en coupe, similaire à la fig. 1, mais en position de fonctionnement.
La caméra représentée comprend un boîtier ou corps 1 contenant les éléments et organes habituels des camé ras cinématographiques, notamment des moyens d'en- trainement du film et de la bobine réceptrice, un moteur électrique fournissant la puissance nécessaire auxdits moyens, un couloir d'exposition, un objectif dont la partie frontale 14 est visible à la fig. 1, un oculaire 15 pour le viseur. A la partie inférieure du boîtier 1, une poignée 2 est articulée autour d'une cheville 3 pour per mettre de la rabattre horizontalement.
La position de la cheville d'articulation 3 de la poignée 2 est également visible à la fig. 2 où l'on voit en outre un trou borgne taraudé 4 servant à la fixation d'un trépied, non repré senté. Un circuit électrique, non représenté, mettant en action des moyens de réglage de l'exposition et alimenté par une batterie, non représentée, est commandé par un contact 5. La poignée 2 comprend une cavité cylindri que 6 destinée à recevoir une pièce cylindrique 7 coulis sant axialement dans ladite cavité.
Cette pièce cylindrique se termine, à son extrémité se trouvant dans la cavité 6, par une partie conique 8 sur laquelle une tige 9 solidaire de la lame supérieure du contact 5, vient prendre appui lorsque la pièce 7 est complètement enfoncée dans la cavité 6, c'est-à-dire dans la position représentée à la fig. 1. La pièce 7 se termine à son autre extrémité par un bouton 10 prolongeant une embase 11 pouvant pren dre appui sur le bord 12 de la poignée 2.
Une zone 13 en une couleur vive (rouge, par exemple) est prévue sur le pourtour de la pièce 7 adjacent à l'embase 11, de manière à constituer un indicateur visuel lorsque la pièce 7 est tirée dans le sens de la flèche, dans la position représentée à la fig. 3. On voit que dans cette position la partie conique 8 n'est plus en contact avec la tige 9 du contact 5, ce qui a pour effet de fermer ce dernier et par conséquent de permettre la fermeture du circuit électrique lorsque la poignée 2 est rabattue horizontalement. L'utilisateur peut ainsi effectuer une prise de vues lorsque la caméra doit être fixée sur un trépied, ou encore lorsqu'elle est posée sur un plan.
Le dispositif décrit permet donc, par des moyens très sim- ples, de filmer lorsque la poignée est rabattue dans la position de non-utilisation.
En outre, grâce à l'indicateur 13, l'opérateur dispose d'un moyen de contrôle visuel lui rappelant qu'il doit pousser le bouton 10 de manière à couper le circuit élec trique lorsqu'il a fini de filmer.
La pièce 7 coulisse dans la poignée 2 avec un frotte ment suffisant pour la maintenir à l'intérieur de cette poignée, mais il est bien évident qu'un moyen appro prié, non représenté, tel qu'un dispositif à baïonnette ou à ressort, peut être utilisé pour assurer le verrouillage de la pièce 7 soit en position enfoncée (fi;. 2), soit en posi tion tirée (fig. 3).
Cinematographic camera with incorporated folding handle The invention relates to a cinematographic camera with incorporated folding handle, at least one function of this camera being controlled by an electrical circuit comprising a contact actuated by the handle, so as to interrupt said circuit in folded position of the handle.
The aforementioned arrangement, which aims to avoid current consumption when the camera is not in use, without the user having to specially actuate a switch to open the circuit, however has a drawback. In fact, in certain cases, the user may wish to take pictures without bringing the handle to the deployed position. It is therefore necessary to provide means for re-establishing the electrical circuit in this case.
To this end, it has already been proposed, for example in German patent Na 1268962, to provide a switch placed at the bottom of the tripod fixing screw thread, so as to be actuated when the camera is screwed onto a tripod and , therefore it is used with the handle in the folded position.
This solution to some extent overcomes the aforementioned drawback. However, if the user does not use a tripod and wants to support his camera on an object, for example a piece of furniture or a wall, he cannot do so without deploying the handle to put the electrical circuit in working order.
Another solution, indicated for example in Swiss patent N-459746, consists in providing a switch bypassing that actuated by the handle, this switch being closed as soon as a trigger cable is attached to the camera. Thus, when the camera is provided with the trigger cable, the electric circuit can no longer be cut by the switch on the handle, and the camera is in working order for any position of the handle. However, in this case, the operator must have the trigger cable on hand and couple it to the camera.
The object of the present invention is to enable the electrical circuit to be put into operation in a camera of the aforementioned type independently of the position of the handle and without it being necessary to fix the camera on a tripod or to equip the camera with a trigger cable. This object is achieved by the fact that the end of the handle comprises a manually movable element to allow the contact to be closed when the handle is in the folded down position of non-use.
The appended drawing represents, schematically and by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of the camera with partial section, handle folded back and inoperative position.
Fig. 2 is a section taken along line 11-11 of FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is a partial sectional view, similar to FIG. 1, but in the operating position.
The camera shown comprises a housing or body 1 containing the usual elements and organs of cinematographic cameras, in particular means for driving the film and the receiving reel, an electric motor supplying the necessary power to said means, a corridor of exposure, a lens whose front part 14 is visible in FIG. 1, an eyepiece 15 for the viewfinder. At the lower part of the housing 1, a handle 2 is articulated around an ankle 3 to enable it to be folded down horizontally.
The position of the articulation pin 3 of the handle 2 is also visible in fig. 2 where we also see a threaded blind hole 4 for fixing a tripod, not shown. An electrical circuit, not shown, activating exposure adjustment means and powered by a battery, not shown, is controlled by a contact 5. The handle 2 comprises a cylindrical cavity 6 intended to receive a cylindrical part 7. grout axially in said cavity.
This cylindrical part ends, at its end located in the cavity 6, by a conical part 8 on which a rod 9 integral with the upper blade of the contact 5, comes to rest when the part 7 is completely inserted into the cavity 6, that is to say in the position shown in FIG. 1. The part 7 ends at its other end with a button 10 extending a base 11 which can be supported on the edge 12 of the handle 2.
A zone 13 in a bright color (red, for example) is provided on the periphery of the part 7 adjacent to the base 11, so as to constitute a visual indicator when the part 7 is pulled in the direction of the arrow, in the position shown in FIG. 3. It can be seen that in this position the conical part 8 is no longer in contact with the rod 9 of the contact 5, which has the effect of closing the latter and consequently of allowing the closing of the electrical circuit when the handle 2 is. folded horizontally. The user can thus take pictures when the camera must be fixed on a tripod, or when it is placed on a plane.
The device described therefore makes it possible, by very simple means, to film when the handle is folded back into the non-use position.
In addition, thanks to the indicator 13, the operator has a visual control means reminding him that he must push the button 10 so as to cut the electrical circuit when he has finished filming.
The part 7 slides in the handle 2 with sufficient friction to keep it inside this handle, but it is obvious that an appropriate means, not shown, such as a bayonet or spring device, can be used to ensure that part 7 is locked either in the depressed position (fi ;. 2) or in the pulled out position (fig. 3).
