Dispositif de protection pour raboteuse portative La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de protection pour raboteuse portative comprenant un tambour porte-couteaux cylindrique, monté rota- tivement dans le corps de la raboteuse et dont la partie supérieure est recouverte d'un manteau semi- cylindrique,
solidaire du corps. Ce dispositif est caractérisé par le fait que la partie inférieure du tambour est protégée par une plaque semi-cylindrique prolongeant le manteau et munie de moyens permet tant de l'escamoter temporairement sous ce manteau, de manière à découvrir la partie active du tambour.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention. La fig. 1 en est une vue générale en perspective. Les fig. 2 et 3 sont des vues en bout illustrant le dispositif dans deux phases de son fonctionnement. La fig. 4 est une coupe selon IV-IV de la fig. 2.
Au dessin, 1 représente le corps de la raboteuse dans lequel est pivoté l'arbre 2. du tambour rotatif 3 portant trois couteaux 4. 5 est un câble d7entraîne- ment commandé par un moteur électrique non repré senté.
Un manteau 6, de forme générale semi-cylindri- que, est fixé au corps et protège la partie supérieure du tambour; il porte une poignée 7 destinée à manoeuvrer la raboteuse.
Une plaque de protection 8, également semi- cylindrique, mais de diamètre légèrement plus faible, est fixée par sa face latérale 9 sur une bague 10 elle- même montée rotativement autour de l'arbre. Un ressort à boudin 11 est fixé, d'une part, au manteau et, d'autre part, à la plaque de protection, de manière à la tenir constamment fermée comme représenté à la fig. 2.
Dans, cette position, la partie active du tam bour rotatif est entièrement recouverte et empêche un accident provoqué, par exemple, par une fausse manoeuvre de l'usager. En agissant sur une poignée 12 solidaire de la plaque de protection 8, on déplace celle-ci, à l'en contre du ressort, jusqu'au moment où elle est entiè rement escamotée sous le manteau, comme représenté en fig. 3. La partie active du tambour est alors dé couverte et la raboteuse est prête à être mise en tra vail.
Dans cette position, le ressort est tendu et entoure la bague 10. Bien entendu, dès que l'on relâche la poignée 12, la protection reprend immédia tement sa position fermée.
Un crochet 13, soumis à l'action d'un ressort 14, est encore monté sur le manteau de manière à per mettre l'accrochage amovible de la poignée 12, dans la position escamotée de la plaque, par exemple dans le cas où la raboteuse doit être utilisée de façon con tinue.

A mantle 6, of generally semi-cylindrical shape, is fixed to the body and protects the upper part of the drum; it carries a handle 7 intended to operate the planer.
A protection plate 8, also semi-cylindrical, but of slightly smaller diameter, is fixed by its side face 9 on a ring 10 itself mounted to rotate around the shaft. A coil spring 11 is fixed, on the one hand, to the mantle and, on the other hand, to the protective plate, so as to keep it constantly closed as shown in FIG. 2.
In this position, the active part of the rotary drum is completely covered and prevents an accident caused, for example, by an incorrect operation by the user. By acting on a handle 12 integral with the protective plate 8, the latter is moved, against the spring, until it is fully retracted under the mantle, as shown in FIG. 3. In this position, the spring is stretched and surrounds the ring 10. Of course, as soon as the handle 12 is released, the protection immediately returns to its closed position.
A hook 13, subjected to the action of a spring 14, is still mounted on the mantle so as to allow the removable hooking of the handle 12, in the retracted position of the plate, for example in the case where the planer must be used continuously.
