Cet axe 2 est monté fou dans un manchon 3, fixé à l'extré mité d'une tige coudée 4 présentant un tron çon horizontal 4' monté rotativement dans des paliers 5 solidaires d'une plaque de support 6 vissée en 7 sur le clavier du mouvement de la pièce à musique.
A l'autre extrémité de la tige 4 est: accroché un ressort 8 de traction dont l'autre extrémité est accrochée à une partie fixe du mouvement. Ce ressort 8 tend à maintenir le manchon 3@ -dans une position verticale. 9 désigne un levier d'arrêt, dont une extrémité est commandée par la tige 4, et qui est susceptible de basculer autour d'un axe horizontal a--u pour déplacer son autre extrémité, de manière à la. placer dans ou hors de la trajectoire de l'ailette 10 du régu lateur de vitesse.
Un ressort 11 est disposé de manière à maintenir le levier 9 contre la tige 4 lorsque le manchon 3 est vertical.
L'axe 2 portant la figurine 1 est com mandé par une palette 12; fixée sur une tige coudée 13 venant. en prise avec une roue 14 à dents de loup calée sur l'axe 15 du tam bour à pointes (non représenté) coopérant avec les lames du clavier.
La figurine 1 comprend -des jambes 16 qui sont suspendues librement en 17 au corps 1' solidaire de l'axe 2. Les pieds de la figurine 1 peuvent. venir en contact. avec une surface d'appui 18 présentant une fente 19 pour le passage de l'axe 2.
L'ensemble du mouvement et de la figu- rine est. monté dans une boîte ou coffret 20 avec couvercle 21.
Le fonctionnement de la forme d'exécu tion décrite est le suivant Dans la position représentée en traits pleins aux fig. 1 et 2, l'extrémité libre du levier d'arrêt 9 est placée hors de la trajec toire -de l'ailette 10 du régulateur. Le mouve ment de la pièce à musique fonctionne donc et la palette 12 est soulevée et. abaissée par l'action des dents de la roue 14 sur la tige 13. La palette 12 transmet son mouvement à l'axe 2 qui repose librement. sur elle et. la figurine est ainsi déplacée d'un mouvement- vertical de va-et-vient.
En venant heurter contre la surface d'appui 18@, l'une ou l'autre des jambes 16 exerce un effort sur le corps 1' engendrant ainsi un couple qui fait pivoter la figurine autour de son axe 2 dans un sens ou dans l'autre.
En fermant le couvercle 21, le fond de celui-ci qui est de préférence muni d'une sur face lisse 2-1', par exemple une glace, vient en contact. avec la figurine qu'il incline comme représenté -en traits mixtes à la fig. 1.
