Pneumatic conveyor
It is known to use injectors for pneumatic delivery. These injectors are often called. Ring nozzles formed. In the case of the known compressed air-operated injectors, the compressed air is fed behind the ring nozzle, whereby an injector effect is generated at the intake port after the released compressed air has emerged. The efficiency is known to be relatively low and is below about 30%. This low level of efficiency is particularly due to the fact that the annular gap section, which lies in the area of the compressed air connection, is acted upon more strongly by the incoming compressed air than the rest of the annular nozzle gap section.
This creates a non-uniform flow speed in and behind the annular nozzle gap and in the pressure diffuser area. This different flow has the consequence that there is a considerable drop in performance due to turbulence.
The invention has set itself the goal of eliminating these disadvantages by means of an improved conveying device, which is characterized in that it consists of a pressure chamber and a downstream nozzle chamber which is separated by a partition which is provided with openings.
An exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.
1 shows a vertical section through an embodiment of the conveying device, in FIG. 24 different embodiments of a partition wall of the device shown in FIG. 1 are shown.
In FIGS. 1 to 4, A represents the compressed air connection piece; with B the pressure chamber; with C the nozzle chamber; with E the suction nozzle, with F the pressure diffuser nozzle; with G the boundary wall between the pressure chamber B and the nozzle chamber C; with H the various design options for openings in the boundary wall G; with S the annular gap width; with D1 the inner diameter of the inner chip tongue D; with D2 the suction nozzle diameter; with D3 the pressure diffuser diameter at the outlet; with l the solids discharge nozzle.
The facility works as follows:
The medium supplied, such as compressed air, pressurized water or steam, is fed to the injector through pressure port A. In the pressure chamber B, for. B. the compressed air calms down and evenly passes through the opening D in the calmed, metered state on the annular gap S. Here, the supplied compressed air is evenly relaxed due to the uniform metered supply in each section of the annular gap and generated via the pressure diffuser connector F den desired negative pressure that propagates to the intake manifold.
In order to achieve the greatest possible effect on the pressure medium supplied and the air-dust mixture being sucked in at the suction nozzle, it is also proposed to constructively evaluate the following relationship between the annular gap S and the diameter D1 and between the suction diameter D2 and the outlet diameter D3 at the pressure diffuser nozzle.
The following ratio results in a previously unknown degree of efficiency.
The annular gap width S must be 1 to 2.5% of the diameter D1. The diameter D1 must move in a ratio of 1: 1.25 to 1: 1.55 to the intake port D2, and the outlet cross-section D3 must have approximately the same diameter as D.
Water inlet openings are indicated by K, which are provided immediately behind the annular gap zone in the area of the high conveying air speed and which form a dust precipitation device with water protection.
