54 an ihren Armen 33 bzw.
Multipurpose machine tool It is a multipurpose machine tool with a serving for clamping the workpiece, in three mutually perpendicular Richtun conditions adjustable workbench. The Ma machine is provided with a rotatable spindle head provided with several spindles, the spindles of which can be brought into working connection individually in the working position with a coupling shaft that can be rotated by a motor. The spindle head is arranged on a height-adjustable slide located on the upper part of the machine frame. This multi-purpose machine tool can be used as a milling or drilling machine.
Another known multi-purpose machine tool is provided with two tool spindles that are directed to accommodate various tools. In addition to its own axis, each tool spindle can also be rotated about two other axes that are perpendicular to one another and can be locked in the various settings. The tool spindles are located on a boom which is arranged on a column and adjustable in height. With this machine it is possible to arrange two different tools or to see the tool spindles with another tool after removing a tool.
The present invention is a multi-purpose machine tool with a clamping table that can be adjusted in different directions, and several tool spindles, which can be brought into working connection with a motor-driven shaft that can be rotated individually and also in height are adjustable on the clamping table.
This machine differs from the known multi-purpose machine tools in that the tool spindles are arranged on a multi-armed carrier, which is arranged to be longitudinally displaceable on a column that can be rotated and locked on the machine frame, and that a swivel arm rotates on the upper end of the column. seated and lockable, which carries a vertical, axially displaceable shaft that can be brought into working connection by rotation of the pivot arm with any tool spindle who can.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows: Fig. 1 is a side elevation of the multi-purpose machine tool, Fig. 2 is a floor plan, Fig. 3 is a section through a detail of the machine on a larger scale and Fig. 4 is the machine like Fig. 1, partly in side elevation, partly in section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 2.
The multipurpose machine tool has a stand 1 in which an electric motor 2 is placed, the shaft of which drives a vertical shaft 4 via a belt drive 3, which is expediently designed as a continuously variable transmission within certain limits. The shaft 4 rotates within a tube 5, which in turn is rotatably supported around its axis in the stand 1. On the stand 1 there is a handwheel 6, with which a bevel wheel 7 is connected, which is in engagement with a bevel gear 8 drawn onto the tube 5.
The shaft 4 is in working connection via two disks 9 and 10 connected to it, two V-belts 11 and 12 and two disks 13 and 14 with an axially displaceable, vertically arranged shaft 15, which in turn is shown in FIG. 1 and 4 Drawn position via a coupling 16 and a shaft 17 drives a milling spindle arranged in a milling head 18.
A second bevel gear 19 is pulled onto the tube 5 and rotates a shaft 21 via a bevel gear 20. The shaft 21 is in working connection via two bevel gears 22, 23 with a vertical screw spindle 24, the lower end of which is rotatably supported on a flange 25 drawn onto the column 27 and the upper end of which is rotatably supported in a cross member 26 which is open at the bottom.
The tube 5 is enclosed by a coaxially angeord designated tubular column 27, the lower end of which is rotatably supported in the stand 1. The upper end of the column is covered by a pivot arm 28 which carries the upper bearing of the tube 5. The pivot arm 28, which is located above the Tr verse 26, has on its underside a pivotable, designed as a lever handle 29 to which a bolt 30 is articulated. The bolt 30 is designed as a locking member and protrudes into a hole in the column 27 and can be moved into an inoperative position by means of the handle 29 to release the pivot arm 28. On the pivot arm 28 there is also a guide for the shaft 15, which also serves as a bearing.
A cross-shaped support 31 with four arms 32, 33, 34, 35 is arranged on the column 27 so as to be displaceable along it. On the arm 32 there is a drill head 36 with an axially displaceable drilling spindle 37, on the part of which lies above the arm a disk 38 is arranged, which can be set in rotation via a drive belt 39, a disk 40 and a coupling 41 and by means of a lever 42 can be moved up and down in the axial direction. The coupling 41 is seated at the end of a shaft in a manner analogous to the aforementioned shaft 17 with the coupling 16.
On the arm 33 of the cross beam 31 (FIG. 3) carrying the milling head 18, the shaft 17 is rotatably supported by means of ball bearings 43 with hitch 16. The shaft 17 is in working connection with the milling spindle 47 via two bevel gears 44, 45 and a shaft 46, which is rotatably mounted in the milling head 18, two bevel gears 48 and 49 being provided to transmit the rotational movement of the shafts 17 and 46 to the milling spindle 47 are. The milling spindle is intended to take on milling tools not shown, which can be replaced in a known manner as required.
The arm 34 of the cross girder, analogously to the shaft 17 with the coupling 16, has a vertical shaft with a coupling 50. There is also a pulley 51 seated on said shaft, which drives a pulley 53 via a belt 52. The disc 53 is located on a spindle which is rotatably and axially displaceably mounted in a grinding head 54 bar. The grinding head 54 is releasably connected to the arm 34. The grinding spindle with a grinding tool attached to it can be raised and lowered in the axial direction by means of a lever 55 pivotably arranged on the grinding head 54. A vertical planing head 56 for receiving a planing tool is detachably connected to the arm 35 of the cross support 31.
The arm 35 is, analogous to the arm 33, equipped with a shaft 57 with a coupling 58 at its exposed end.
The axes of the couplings 16, 41, 58 lie on a circle centered on the axis of the shaft 4. By rotating the pivot arm 28 about its axis of rotation, which is identical to the axis of the shaft 4, the shaft 15 can be via any of the ge called Couplings are rotated and brought into drive connection with the latter. The various tools are always driven by the drive motor 2 via the shaft 4 and the two belts 11 and 12, which are under the influence of a tensioning roller 70 (FIG. 2) arranged on the swivel arm 28, but only one of the above existing tool spindles can be put into operation. The tool to be taken into operation is brought to the shaft 15 by rotating the column 27 on the job after the work connection has been made.
On the stand 1 there is a bearing 59 with a bearing pin 60, the latter being attached to a transverse table 61. Above the cross table 61 there is a longitudinal table 62 and above the latter a cross table 63, which are parts of the clamping table. Fastening straps are designated by 64 and 65, which are attached to the cross table 61 and can be locked by means of clamping levers 66, 67. To adjust the tables 63 and 62, handwheels 68 and 69 are provided.
The mode of operation of the multi-purpose machine tool is as follows: In the position of the cross support 31 shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 4, the milling head 18 is above the longitudinal and cross table 63 and 62, respectively. The coupling 16 of the shaft 17 is connected to the shaft 15, so that when the motor 2 is switched on, the shafts 15, 17 and 46 and the milling spindle 47 are set in rotation and the workpiece (not shown) clamped on the longitudinal table 63 can be machined.
If the same work piece is to be provided with bores, the coupling 16 is released from the shaft 15, the handle 29 is pivoted to release the pivot arm 28 and the latter pivoted counterclockwise in FIG. 2 by 90, so that the shaft 15 now via the coupling 40 with the drill head 36 is in Arbeitsverbin manure. By subsequent rotation of the column 27 clockwise by 90, the drilling head 36 is then rotated over the work site.
The grinding of bores can be carried out after drilling has been carried out after having rotated the pivot arm 28 by 180 in the counterclockwise direction of FIG. 2 from the drilling position and brought the coupling 50 into connection with the shaft 15, which is followed by a rotation of the column 27 brings the grinding head 54 with the grinding tool attached to the grinding spindle over the work site.
For vertical planing, the pivot arm 28 is rotated after release by actuating the handle 29 on the arm 35 on which the planer tool carrier 56 is arranged so that the shaft 15 can be brought into connection via the coupling 58 with the shaft 57. Once this has been done, the vertical planing head is pivoted over the work station by rotating the column 27.
In order to carry out suitable work by milling or planing, the longitudinal table 63, the cross table 62 and the cross table 61 can be swiveled out of the horizontal position after releasing the clamping lever 66 and 67 and readable in the respective desired th, on the tabs 64, 65 located Gradeintei lungs Determine inclinations. Before undertaking such work, the milling and planing heads 18 and 54 can be pivoted about the horizontal axis on their arms 33 and 34 and locked.
The rotation of the cross support 31 with the column 27 and the fixed on the latter by the retaining pin 30 pivot arm 28 is done by hand, with a be on the column 27 be sensitive wedge bar 27a (Fig. 1), which the cross support as a guide when lifting and Serves lowering, prevents rotation of the cross beam on the column. To fix the column 27 on the stand, an adjusting lever 27b is provided.
To adjust the height of the tools, the spindle 24, which is in working connection with the cross carrier via a thread (not shown) provided on the latter, is used, the spindle using the handwheel 6 via the bevel gear 7, 8, the tube 5 and the bevel gears 19, 20 and 22, 23, depending on the direction of rotation of the handwheel, can be set in rotation in one or the other direction of rotation.
Instead of the handwheel 6 or in addition to this, a reversible electric motor for rotating the tube 5 in one or the other direction of rotation for the purpose of raising and lowering the cross carrier 31 could be provided. The electric motor 2 provided as a drive motor for the shaft 4 can also be reversible so that the shaft 15 can be allowed to run in one or the other direction of rotation. In such a case, a reversing switch is mounted on the stand 1 in addition to the on and off switch for the motor.
While the milling spindle 47 is designed exclusively to perform a rotary movement, the drilling and grinding spindles are also designed to be axially movable in addition to the rotational movement. For this purpose, these spindles are not driven via bevel gears as in the milling spindle ge according to FIG. 3, but via pulleys and belts, as is the case with shaft 15, but the axial movement is effected by means of hand levers 42 and 55 becomes. The vertical planing is carried out by the drive of the shaft 57 provided with the coupling 58, which is mounted in the arm 35 in a manner analogous to the shaft 17 in the arm 33.
The rotary movement of the shaft is converted into a vertical reciprocating movement of the tool holder carrying the planer knife by means of known means, not shown.
The support 31, which carries the tool spindles and is movable up and down on the column 27, can also have more than four arms, each with a tool spindle.
The machine tool is preferably provided for the manufacture of cutting and pressing tools and gauges, although other vorkom mende work, namely drilling holes, Ge thread cutting, milling, grinding and vertical planing can be performed. In particular, the tool spindle located on the grinding head can be designed in such a way that grinding takes place according to the planetary principle and bores up to 100 mm in diameter can be ground.
In the illustrated embodiment of the machine tool, the power is transmitted from the Mo sector 2 to the shaft 4 on the one hand and from the latter to the shaft 15 on the other hand via pulleys and belts. Instead of these transmission means, gears could also be provided which allow the swivel arm to be pivoted over the column 27 without further ado. Instead of the couplings 16, 41, 50, 58 being provided on the individual shafts, a coupling could also be attached to the shaft 15 itself.
