Diese Aufgabe soll erfindungsgemäss gelöst sein durch die Kombi nation folgender Merkmale: a) Die Steuerkammer des Beschleunigers ist zu ihrer Füllung über ein Rückschlagventil mit der Haupfluftleitung verbunden; b) die Fülleitung von der Haupfluftleitung zur Steuerkammer ist durch ein weiteres Ventil über wacht, welches beim überschreiten eines bestimm ten Höchstdruckes in der Hauptluftleitung schliesst;
Accelerator on compressed air, especially for rail vehicles In compressed air brakes of rail vehicles, it is known to arrange the accelerator provided for tapping the main air line and thus to ensure the function of the control valve separately from the control valve.
The actuator piston of the accelerator for the outlet valve of the main air line is acted upon on the one hand by the pressure in the main air line and on the other hand by the pressure in a control chamber, which z. B. from the supply air tank or from the chamber con constant pressure of a three-pressure control valve or from the main air line receives.
The connection of the control chamber of the accelerator to the main air line is the most advantageous because it guarantees a high degree of functional accuracy and operational readiness with a simple structural design. In spite of this, even accelerators whose control chamber is connected to the main air line for the purpose of filling still had disadvantages. Because of its connection with the main air line, the control chamber was exposed to the risk of overloading in the event of long bursts.
In addition, there was a lack of resources to clearly control the responsiveness of such an accelerator, and the compressed air from the acceleration chamber was previously often discharged into the open, so that it was lost to the system.
The object of the invention is to improve an acceleration device with an accelerator whose piston, which actuates the outlet valve for the main air line, is acted upon on the one hand by the pressure in the main air line and on the other hand by the pressure in a control chamber, so that the previous Disadvantages are eliminated.
According to the invention, this object is to be achieved by the combination of the following features: a) The control chamber of the accelerator is connected to the main air line via a check valve for its filling; b) the filling line from the main air line to the control chamber is monitored by a further valve, which closes when a certain maximum pressure in the main air line is exceeded;
c) the control chamber is connected to the main air line via a throttle opening which determines the response sensitivity of the accelerator and a shut-off element which is open when the brake is released.
In addition, a connection between the control chamber to be filled from the main air line and the supply air tank of the compressed air brake is advantageous, which leads via a non-return valve and a throttle opening that allows flow only in the direction of this tank.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown schematically, namely: Fig. 1 shows the circuit diagram of an acceleration device on a compressed air brake, the accelerator and the three-pressure control valve in their response by a common throttle opening sensitivity are monitored, and Fig. 2 shows the circuit diagram of an acceleration device on a compressed air brake, the accelerator being assigned a special throttle opening for determining its sensitivity.
According to FIG. 1, the housing of the three-pressure control valve contains in the usual way one of two pistons 3 and 5 > existing piston set. The piston 3 is acted upon by pressure in a space 7 on its upper side in the drawing, which is connected to the main air line 7 by means of a line 9 B> 11 is connected. The piston 3 separates the space 7 from a space in which, as the chamber 13 of constant pressure, the highest control pressure of e.g. B. 5 atü is maintained.
The chamber 13 constant pressure is via the line 15, 17 with the space 7 of the three-pressure control valve 1 and further Connected to the main air line 11 via line 9 . A throttle opening 19 is switched into line 15 , which acts as a sensitivity opening and increases the response sensitivity of the three-pressure control valve 1 in the event of pressure drops in the main air line 11 .
The lines 15, 17 are monitored by a valve 21, whose actuating piston 23 is acted upon by the pressure in the brake cylinder 25 which is transmitted to it by means of a line 27 leading via the three-pressure control valve 1 . The piston 5 in the three-pressure control valve 1 is carried by a sleeve 29 , the upper, open end of which in the drawing is connected to an outlet valve 31 cooperates, which is combined with an inlet valve 33 to form a double valve.
The outlet valve 31 monitors the outlet of compressed air from the brake cylinder 25 via the inside of the sleeve 29 and a nozzle which determines the release time of the brake 35 outdoors. The inlet valve 33 monitors the loading of the brake cylinder 25 from a supply air tank 37 via a Leituno, 39 and the line 27, wherein a throttle opening 41 determines the time of the increase in brake pressure.
To limit the maximum pressure in the brake cylinder 25, a so-called maximum pressure limiter of a known type is provided, but this has been omitted from the figures for the sake of simplicity. The air storage tank 37 receives its filling from the main air line 11 via the line 9, a throttle opening 43 that determines the filling time, a non-return valve valve 45 and a line 47.
From the line 9 connected to the main air line 11 , another line 49, which contains a non-return valve 51 , leads to a monitoring valve 53. The actuating piston 55 of this monitoring valve is loaded on its upper side in the drawing by a spring 57 and the pressure in the chamber of constant pressure rests on it of the three-pressure control valve 1 which is fed through the line 59 .
The lower side of the piston 55 is under the influence of the pressure in a space 61 of the housing of the monitoring valve 53. This space is by means of a line < B> 63, a throttle opening 64 and a non-return valve 66 connected to the filling line 47 of the supply air container 37 and thus to the latter itself. It is also connected to a line 65 which leads to the control chamber 67 of an accelerator 69 .
The respective pressure in this control chamber acts on one side of an actuating piston 71 the other side of which is under the pressure in a space 73 and also with the bias of a spring 75 is charged. The room 73 is connected by means of a line 77 to the line 9 and thus to the main air line 11 .
The piston 71 of the accelerator 69 actuates an outlet valve 79 which monitors the outlet from a space 81 which is connected by means of a line 83 to the line 9 and thus in turn to the main air line 11 .
The valve 79 of the accelerator separates the space 81 from a further space 85 from which a line 87 leads to one Room 89 of a monitoring valve 91 leads whose spring-loaded actuating piston 93 via a line 95 to the line < B> 27 is connected, which is filled with compressed air of the respective overpressure in the brake cylinder 25 . When the valve 91 is open, the space 89 is connected to a space 97 , to which a dispensing chamber 99 for receiving the is connected by means of the accelerator 69 from the main air line 11 tapped compressed air.
The dispensing chamber 99 empties into the open with a time delay via a throttle opening 101 . The control chamber 67 is via lines 65, 103 and a check valve 105 with the chamber 13 constant pressure of the three-pressure control valve - tils 1 in connection.
The mode of operation of the device described is as follows: In the released state of the brake, the individual parts of the same take the position ersicht from the drawing. The air supply tank 37 is via the line 9 the throttle opening 43, the check valve 45 and the line 47 with air from the highest control pressure in the main air line 11 </ B> filled.
The same maximum pressure also prevails, conveyed through the line 9 in space 7 of the three-pressure control valve 1 and after the monitoring valve 21 is open due to the lack of excess pressure in the brake cylinder 25 , the chamber 13 is also of constant pressure via the lines 17, 15 and the sensitivity opening 19 charged with the highest line pressure.
The pistons 3, 5 of the three-pressure control valve, caused by a spring (not designated), assume their full release control, in which the outlet valve 31 opens and the inlet valve 33 is closed.
The monitoring valve 53 is opened at the same high pressures on both sides of the piston 55 by the spring 57 , so that the control chamber 67 of the accelerator 69 from the main air line 11 via the lines 9, 49, the check valve 51, < / B> the monitoring valve 53 and the line 65 are filled.
The same pressure of the main air line 11 also prevails, mediated by the line 9, 77, in the chamber 73 of the accelerator 69, < / B> so that the spring 75 holds the piston 71 in the position corresponding to the closure of the valve 79 . The valve 91 to the dispensing chamber 99 is open when its piston 93 is not acted upon and the dispensing chamber is through the nozzle 101 vented.
From the control chamber 67 of the accelerator 69 there is a flow possibility via the lines 65, 103 and the check valve 105 Chamber 13 Constant pressure of the three-pressure control valve 1 , in which the same pressure prevails in the released state as in the control chamber 67 .
If, for whatever reason, an undesired slow lowering of the pressure takes place in the main air line, then on the one hand the pressure in the chamber 13 of the control valve 1 < / B> via the sensitivity opening 19 in the lines 17, 9 and thus in the main air line 11 , so that the control valve does not start .
On the other hand, this balance also takes place from the control chamber 67 of the accelerator 69 via the check valve 105 and the control valve chamber 13 and the sensitivity opening 19 in the main air line 11 , so that the accelerator 69 is prevented from starting.
However, if the pressure in the main air line 11 is deliberately lowered by the engine driver for the purpose of braking, and thus in a correspondingly shorter time, the cross section of the sensitivity opening 19 is sufficient for pressure equalization between the Chambers 67, 13 and the main air line 11 are not excluded, so that under the resulting overpressure in the control chamber 67 compared to the reduced line pressure in the chamber 73 the actuating piston 71 of the accelerator moves down against the force of the spring 75 and thereby the outlet valve 79 opens.
This means that compressed air is drawn from the main air line 11 and from space 7 of the three-pressure control valve 1 via the open valve 91 into the chamber 99 tapped and the resulting acceleration of the pressure drop in chamber 7 of the three-pressure control valve leaves its piston 3, 5 due to the overpressure in the chamber 13 go up with the consequence of the closure of the outlet valve 31 and the opening of the inlet valve 33. Compressed air from the storage container 37 flows,
Timed by the throttle opening 41, via the lines 39 and 27 to the brake cylinder 25. The overpressure that builds up in it acts on the pistons > 23 and 93 of the monitoring valves 21 or 91 and closes these two valves. On the one hand, this interrupts the connection between chamber 13 and the main air line and, on the other hand, prevents further tapping of compressed air from the main air line into chamber 99 , which can pass through the nozzle 101 slowly empties.
The pressure in the control chamber 67 of the accelerator 69 is equal to each other via the line 65, the room 61, die Line 63, the throttle opening 64 and the non-return valve 66 with the pressure in the storage tank 37 </ that has been reduced by the filling of the brake cylinder 55 B> off. The valve 91 remains closed under the increasing pressure in the brake cylinder 25 , so that it is not possible to tap the main air line 11 again during the further course of the braking .
The individual braking stages are measured in a known manner by means of the three-pressure control valve 1 in accordance with the level of the pressure drops in the main air line 11. The pressure in the chamber 73 of the accelerator 69 corresponds to the pressure in the main air line 11 while the pressure in the control chamber 67 < / B> as already said, via the throttle opening 64 and the non-return valve 66 in each case compensates with the pressure in the supply air tank 37 , which drops as the braking progresses.
For the purpose of releasing the brake, the driver increases the pressure in the main air line 11 where, temporarily held back by the throttle opening 43, the filling of the air reservoir 11 11 </ B> starts as soon as the main line pressure exceeds the remaining tank pressure.
The pressure increase in the main air line 11 also takes place via the line 9 in room 7 of the three-pressure control valve 1 the consequence that while the pistons 3, 5 move downwards, the inlet valve 33 closes and the outlet valve 31 opens, so that the brake cylinder 25 at the time interval prescribed by the 35 nozzle. emptied.
The achievement of final release positions is done in a known manner and therefore does not need to be described individually. If the increasing pressure in the main air line 11 and thus also in room 73 of the accelerator 69 the pressure in the control chamber 67, </ B> which, compared to the container 37 , is preferably filled via the non-return valve 51 , but whose pressure, throttled through the opening 64, is continuously equalized with the container pressure, is approximately the same, the spring 75 closes the valve 79 and keeps it in the closed state.
After closing the valve 79 , when there is residual pressure in the brake cylinder 25 , the opening of the valve 91 takes place under the Effect of the spring acting on the piston 93 , which frees the passage from the accelerator 69 to the bleeding chamber 99 and the accelerator again to bleeding the main air line ready.
As a result of the processes described, the accelerator is reliably ready before the brake is fully released, so that, due to this readiness to accelerate, the three-pressure control valve 1 </ B is guaranteed to trigger, even if the brakes are weak again shortly before the pre-released state > is given.
If the locomotive driver sends a filling surge into the main air line 11, via the driver's brake valve in order to release the brake more quickly, that is, if he temporarily excessively increases the highest control pressure in the same, then the line 9, < / B> 49, the check valve 51 and the initially still open valve 53 this overpressure also in space 61 with the result that the piston 55, which on its upper side in the drawing is only subjected to the highest control pressure of chamber 13 and the force of spring 57 ,
the valve 53 closes and thus prevents overloading of the control chamber 67 of the accelerator 69 . The valve 53 remains closed until the fill level has subsided and the risk of overloading has been eliminated.
When a residual pressure is reached in the brake cylinder 25 , valve 21 also opens again, so that the two chambers 13 and 67 via the common sensitivity opening 19 can be reconnected to the main air line 11 and thus both the three-pressure control valve 1 and the accelerator 69 to prevent accidental damage Jumping are secured.
As a result of the actuation of the piston 71 in the accelerator 69 due to the pressure in the control chamber 67 which neither increases its filling from the highest possible level Control pressure to be maintained chamber 13 of the control valve from the reservoir 37 , which is to be retained in its filling in favor of the release time of the brake, but directly from the main air line 11 </ B>, there is a guarantee for a safe, timely operational readiness of the accelerator before the brake is fully released.
In addition, the response sensitivity of the accelerator is clearly defined by the connection of the control chamber 67 to the sensitivity opening, and this control chamber is protected against overcharging. Finally, unnecessary air consumption due to the intake of compressed air from the control chamber 67 in the supply air tank 37 is avoided.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 2 differs from that according to FIG. 1 in that instead of the sensitivity opening common to the three-pressure control valve and accelerator 69 19 the latter opening is now provided solely for the control valve and the accelerator 69 has its own sensitivity opening 107 , which is located in a line 109 < / B> is arranged, which, starting from the line 65, goes to a chamber 111 of a monitoring valve 113 .
This monitoring valve has a further chamber 114, which is separate from the chamber 111 , to which the chamber 114 containing the sensitivity opening 19 is separated from the chamber 13 Dreidruckste-Lierventils 1 outgoing line 15 opens. Both chambers 111 and 114 are monitored by a valve plate 115 , which is actuated against spring force by means of piston 23 .
The piston 23 is in turn acted upon by the respective pressure in the brake cylinder 25 via line 27 . The remaining parts of the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 2 are the same as those according to FIG. 1, apart from the omission of the connecting line 103 and the non-return valve 105 >
The operation of the two facilities is also largely the same. When the brake is released, in the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the sensitivity of the accelerator 69 is monitored by the special throttle opening 107 , while the sensitivity of the control valve 1 </ B> determines the opening 19 . This has the advantage that both sensitivities can be measured individually in order to achieve an optimal overall function.
In addition, the omission of the check valve 105 makes it possible not only to use the chamber 13 of the three-pressure control valve 1 but also the control chamber 67 of the accelerator 69 when the brake system is emptied completely into the main air duct. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1, this was only possible for chamber 13 of control valve 1 , while in control chamber 67 </ B> a residual pressure corresponding to the spring preload in the check valve 105 remained.
Finally, it should also be mentioned that the acceleration device can also be provided on a brake, in which, omitting the maximum pressure limiter mentioned, the air supply tank is dimensioned so that pressure equalization occurs between it and the brake cylinder when the brakes are fully applied.
