Description
rangée de planches. La partie centrale de l'entretoise reste prisonnière dans le béton, ce qui du reste ne pré- sente aucun ;
Spacer for the assembly of a formwork The assembly of formwork for concrete walls is a relatively long job and requires specialized manpower. More and more. more. the need. is felt to avoid setting up <RTI
ID = "0001.0019"> externally supported piles and nailing. of boards for mant files formwork.
The present invention tends to satisfy this wish and has as its object a spacer for the assembly of a formwork for the casting of a concrete wall,
which is characterized by the fact that it came from a single piece of manufacture, each end being provided with four wings extending over its entire width and forming two opposed U's constituting jaws,
the said wings having the same spacing corresponding to the thickness of a shuttering board,
so that this spacer fixes the distance between two walls of the formwork and automatically maintains in the same plane the neighboring planchas of each wall.
The accompanying drawing illustrates schematically and by way of example an embodiment of the enromtaise object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a partial perspective view of a wall formwork.
Fig. 2 is a perspective view on a larger scale of the embodiment of (spacer.
Fig. 1 represents the concrete foundation 1 of a poured concrete wall 2 (partially shown)
. This wall of a thickness a is cast between gods walls formed by boards 3 of equal thickness b and width c superimposed field.
The two walls P thus formed are parallel and separated from each other by a distance d corresponding to the desired thickness for the wall 2.
These boards instead of being nailed against posts are maintained between them by, between measuring rods 4 which have at each of their ends two opposite jaws,
formed by two pairs of wings 5 and 6 opposite. Thus these jaws each have the general shape of a U & nt the wings 5,
6 are spaced apart by a value e at least equal to the thickness b of a formwork board, while the distance i of the internal faces of the internal flanges c coirraspond to the thickness a of the wall.
To assemble the formwork, simply place the first two boards 3 on the base 1,
to engage on the upper edges of these boards spacers 4 as described then to place in the upper jaws of these spacers a second <RTI
ID = "0001.0210"> row of boards 3 and so on as shown in the drawing. The erection of the formwork is extremely easy and does not require specialized labor. Indeed the boards of each wall are <RTI
ID = "0001.0229"> automatically maintained in the same vertical plane by the jaws, spacers and the two walls are automatically maintained at the desired spacing by these same jaws.
It goes without saying that to obtain a vertical wall it is necessary for the surface of the base 1 to be horizontal.
Generally speaking, the inner wings 5 can be RTI ID = "0001.0260" WI = "12" HE = "4" LX = "1248" LY = "2107"> planned less high and less strong than the outer wings 6.
The formwork is done by removing the upper boards, then breaking the parts of each spacer protruding from the wall surfaces in order to allow the successive removal of each
row of planks. The central part of the spacer remains trapped in the concrete, which, moreover, does not present any;
disadvantage. The thickness g of each spacer is expected to be sufficiently small, for example 1 to 3 mm,
to prevent concrete from escaping through the joints remaining between the formwork boards. Such a spacer can be obtained at a very low cost price by forming a. profiled in a
molding (synthetic resin) and cutting the section thus obtained at successive distances corresponding to the width h of the spacer.
