and fig. 10, a partial plan view of FIG. 9.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 8, the central heating boiler, operating with an oil burner, comprises in its central part a combustion chamber comprising a heating body 1, generally annular in shape, with vertical axis. The heating body 1, for example made of sheet steel, comprises an inner wall 2 and an outer wall 3, between which circulates water, each of said walls verticals having, in cross section, a broken line, as shown in FIG. 2 and 10, in order to increase the heating surface of said body.
A the front, the heating body 1 has a flat part distributed over its entire height, in which an upper notch 4 is formed, a middle part 5 , of small width, and a lower notch 6. The notch 4 is intended for the passage of a pipe 7 for supplying combustion air < B> to the tank 8 of the burner, supplied with fuel oil by a pipe 9, which is connected to a regulator 10. In its upper part, the outer wall 3 is, moreover, provided with a pipe 3, intended to </ B> be connected to a circulating water thermostat.
The shape of the notches 4 and 6, as well as of the middle part 5, is determined by the type of burner with which the boiler is fitted.
The outer wall of the rear part of the heating body also has a flat surface provided at its lower end with a pipe 11 for supplying the circulation water from the radia. central heating units, and at its upper end, a pipe 12 for water outlet to said radiators.
The heating body 1 is fixed, for example by welding, to its lower part on a support 13, in the form of a box, for example made of sheet steel. The front of this support has a recess intended for the introduction of an ashtray drawer, in the event that the boiler operates on coal or wood.
The support 13 is connected to an outer casing 15, for example made of sheet steel, of the boiler. This envelope is supported by a base 16, of sheet steel, and is provided at its upper part with a cover 17 provided ( A central opening, which is closed by a 18 cooking plate.
Above the base 16 and under the support 13 is fitted a safety tray, shown in dotted lines to in fig. 4, said tank being intended to collect the fuel oil likely to overflow from the tank 8 of the burner.
Between the outer casing 15 of the boiler and the heating body 1 are fitted partitions intended, on the one hand, to the routing of the combustion gases towards the flue gas nozzle 21 through the rear longitudinal partition 15 and, on the other hand, to the heating of the ambient air in the boiler. A < / B> for this purpose, two longitudinal partitions 22, 22 'are arranged between the lateral edges of the casing 15 and the front part of the body of </ B> heating.
Likewise, two longitudinal partitions 23, 23 ' are placed towards the rear of the heating body and two partitions 24, 24', of curved shape, are interposed between the partitions 22, 23 and 22 ', 23' respectively, said partitions 24, 24 'being arranged concentrically to </ B> the periphery of the heating body 1.
The ambient air enters through through the outer casing on the one hand, through openings 19, made at the lower end of said envelope, and circulates in the spaces 25, 25 ' between the lateral edges of the envelope 15 and the partitions 22, 23 and 24 and their symmetrical respectively, the air then being discharged to the outside of the boiler through upper orifices 20, arranged in the casing 15 under the folded edge < B> of the cover 17, in the direction indicated by the arrows f (fig. 1 and 3).
Removable plates forming baffles, such as the plate 26 (fig. 7 and 8), are placed in an inclined position in space between the heating body 1 and the curved partition 24. The front edge 27 of the plate 26 is serrated so to match the facets and vertical edges of the wall 3 of the heating body, the rear edge 28 having a rounded surface whose radius corresponds to that of the curved partition 24. The plate 26 is provided at each of its ends with a rod 29, 29 ' respec tively, curved at its free end 30, 30 ' respectively, in the shape of a hook, said hooks pressing on the upper bottom 31 of the body 1.
Each of the plates 26 could be bent in the shape of a spoon to ensure the routing of the combustion gases formed to the interior of the body 1. </ B > These gases are returned to the bottom of the boiler by the cover 17. The symmetrical baffles 26 direct a part of the gases in the space between the body 1 and the curved partitions 24, 24 ', before the said gases are discharged through the smoke nozzle 21. Partitions 32 </ B > and 33 (fig. 4) are fixed to the upper part of the boiler, said partitions being intended to separate the ambient air from the smoke circuit, thus allowing to the heat to spread over the entire surface of the hob.
A removable plate 34 (fig. 2 and 4) is fixed on the front part of the heating body 1, said plate, on which is fixed a support 35 of the tank 8 of the burner, being intended to allow the burner to be released from the inside of the heating body, following the direction of the arrow f (fig. 1) and to close the front opening of the box 13.
In a variant intended to be heated with coal, the boiler comprises a heating body 06 (fig. 9 and 10), whose inner wall 37 is similar to the wall 2 of the body 1, the outer wall 38 </ B> being of circular section with constant radius. In the lower part of the body 36 is fixed a grid 39 to charcoal, the support 40 of the body 36 being intended to </ B> receive the combustion ashes.
The charcoal is introduced through the opening of the cover 17 closed by the cooking plate 18. The inside and outside edges of each of the baffles removable 41 have surfaces with concentric radii, said baffles being placed and fixed in the same way as those described for baffles 26 (fig. 7 </ B > and 8).
It is obvious that the inner and outer walls of the heating body could be constituted by of corrugated sheet, having the same property of increasing the heating surface as the zigzag walls described.
