Si l'on veut obtenir un tour de minutes M qui n'est pas circulaire, par exemple celui montré à 1a fig: 6 ou à la fig. 7, on remplacera la came 4 par les cames 4, respectivement 4b; de cette façon, chaque fois que le doigt 8 viendra en contact avec un entre-dent de l'une de ces cames, on pro duira non seulement une rotation du cadran à tra vailler, mais également, par le coulissement du deuxième plateau, un déplacement axial de ce cadran ;
Enfin, il est possible, avec la forme d'exécution susdécrite, de découper une came 4. A cet effet, on remplace cette dernière, autour dé la portée sus mentionnée, par une ébauche ;
on enlève le doigt 8 du plateau 3 et l'on dispose sur celui-ci à la place de l'ébauche de cadran, une plaque 9 sur la face supé rieure de laquelle (voir fig. 8) on a fait figurer une graduation angulaire 10 et le contour, par exemple, hexagonal 11 de la came à dessiner, on engage dans le taraudage 12d d'une bride montée sur le premier plateau, la vis 12 montrée en fig. 1 et qui n'a pas été utilisée jusqu'à maintenant ;
après quoi tout le dispositif est monté sur une machine à pointer; avec la lunette de celle-ci, on vise un point d'intersection de l'hexagone 11 avec la graduation 10, on règle à la main la position de la vis 12, le dispositif élastique 5, 6 et 7 tendant constamment à appliquer le plateau 3 contre cette vis ;
Device for pointing a part on a machine tool The object of the present invention is a device for pointing a part on a machine tool.
This device is characterized by a first plate capable of rotating around its axis in a support, by a slide mounted on this plate so as to be able to move radially, by an elastic positive device inserted between the latter and the first plate, by a second plate fixed on the slide and by a fixed bearing concentric with the first plate.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof, and FIG. 2, an elevational view.
Figs. 3 and 4 show a detail in plan, respectively in section.
Figs. 5, 6 and 7 illustrate some decamping obtained with the device.
Fig. 8 shows a plan of another detail thereof.
On the support T of the device mounted on a drill whose tool is shown at O is placed a plate 1 provided with a cylindrical shaft mounted in a ball bearing in order to rotate about its axis t; on this plate is disposed a slide 2 formed of two pads 2b able to move axially by means of ball bearings 2d in grooves made on the side faces of a guide 1, of the plate ; this guide is arranged along a diametral axis between the rim lb of the plate 1.
On the pads 2b is removably fixed by screws 3 ,,, a second plate 3, not visible in FIG. 3, designed to carry the workpiece and having, slidably mounted, in the hole 8, a finger 8 that an elastic device 5, 6 and 7 constantly tends to apply against a fixed and toothed circular cam 4, removably mounted on a surface of the support T coaxial with the axis t.
The workpiece P is here constituted by a watch face with feet Pi on which we want to produce a minute turn M (or a mental design), by means of small ones. points obtained by means of the tool O. For this, it suffices to rotate the plate around its axis by bringing the finger 8 in contact successively with each of the between-teeth of the cam 4; we will thus obtain the dotted circle M (fig. 5), the plate 3 not having moved axially.
If we want to obtain a minute turn M which is not circular, for example that shown in 1a fig: 6 or in fig. 7, the cam 4 will be replaced by the cams 4, respectively 4b; in this way, each time the finger 8 comes into contact with a gap of one of these cams, not only a rotation of the dial to be worked will be produced, but also, by the sliding of the second plate, a axial displacement of this dial;
the points of the dial whose distances to its center vary in this way will thus be successively brought under the tool O.
Finally, it is possible, with the above-described embodiment, to cut out a cam 4. For this purpose, the latter is replaced, around the aforementioned scope, by a blank;
finger 8 is removed from plate 3 and placed on it in place of the dial blank, a plate 9 on the upper face of which (see fig. 8) an angular graduation has been shown. 10 and the outline, for example, hexagonal 11 of the cam to be drawn, is engaged in the internal thread 12d of a flange mounted on the first plate, the screw 12 shown in FIG. 1 and which has not been used until now;
after which the whole device is mounted on a pointing machine ; with the telescope of this one, one aims at a point of intersection of the hexagon 11 with the graduation 10, one adjusts by hand the position of the screw 12, the elastic device 5, 6 and 7 constantly tending to apply the plate 3 against this screw;
then the drill of the pointing machine is lowered so that it reaches the blank through the hole 8a of the plate and drills a small hole in it. We will thus bring under the tool, by successive rotations, each followed by a rectilinear movement of the plate 9, various points of the blank whose vector radii will be different; once the outline is finished, it will suffice to cut the cam according to it.
