La montre représentée comprend une boîte 1 protégée par un étui formé de deux capu chons 2 et 3 ; ceux-ci peuvent coulisser sur la boîte pour l'enfermer ou pour dégager son cadran.
Sur la boîte est monté, autour de son centre, un anneau rotatif 4, muni d'un secteur denté 5. Chaque capuchon est relié à l'anneau par une bielle 6 articulée en 7 dans le fond du capuchon et en 8 sur le bord de l'anneau. Sur la tige de remontoir 9 est fixé un pignon 10 qui peut venir en prise avec le secteur denté 5 pour permettre le remontage du mou vement, lorsqu'on ferme les capuchons.
L'articulation de la bielle 6, en 7, au fond du capuchon, a lieu par le moyen d'une bar rette à ressort que porte la bielle et qui est formée d'une tige 14 coulissant dans une douille 15 et tendant à s'écarter sous l'effet du ressort intérieur 16 (voir fig. 3). La tige et la douille présentent chacune un tourillon 17 que le ressort 16 maintient dans un logement 18 du capuchon; chacun de ces logements est relié au bord de ce dernier par 1e moyen d'une rainure 19.
Pour articuler la bielle sur son capuchon, il suffit d'engager les tenons 17 de sa barrette à ressort dans l'entrée des rai nures 19, puis de pousser la barrette jusqu'à ce que les tenons 17 pénètrent dans les loge ments 18. La barrette porte une collerette 20 permettant de rapprocher les deux tourillons l'un de l'autre lorsqu'on veut procéder au dé montage de la bielle.
Chaque bielle présente, à l'extrémité op posée à celle portant la barrette, une griffe élastique 21 obtenue par découpage de l'ex trémité de la bielle et qui s'engage avec un tenon 22 porté par l'anneau 4.
