Montre. L'objet de l'invention est une montre. Il comporte une boîte recevant le mou vement ainsi qu'un étui dans lequel la boite est pivotée et qui présente une ouverture permettant d'apercevoir le cadran du mouve ment, l'ouverture étant fermée par un cou vercle pivotant, normalement maintenu par un ressort à la position de fermeture, mais pouvant être amené en position d'ouverture au moyen d'un poussoir qui occupe une par tie de l'un des côtés de l'étui.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de la montre. Les fig. 1 et 2 en sont deux coupes lon gitudinales montrant certaines parties à des positions différentes; La fig. 3 en est une demi-coupe transver sale passant par la ligne III-III de la fig. 4 ; La fig. 4 en est une vue par dessus. L'étui a de la montre représentée est en métal et a une forme rectangulaire; dans l'une de ses grandes faces est ménagée une grande ouverture b, rectangulaire également. Cette dernière est fermée par un couvercle c monté à l'une de ses extrémités sur deux pivots d de l'étui a.
Le couvercle tend à être maintenu à la position de fermeture par un petit ressort plat e légèrement tordu, pincé à l'une de ses extrémités entre l'un des pivots d et le logement de celui-ci et agissant à son autre extrémité uur une partie de c.
On peut néanmoins l'ouvrir en agissant sur une pièce poussoir f reliée par un axe g à des oreilles h de ce couvercle, entre les quelles elle passe; la pièce f est logée dans une ouverture i de l'un des petits côtés de l'étui a, l'obture complètement à la position de fermeture du couvercle c et fait alors saillie extérieure sur a, comme on le voit sur les fig. 1, 4; elle a la forme d'un cylin dre à bases non circulaires et présente deux parties na, <I>n</I> par lesquelles elle glisse en avançant avec un léger mouvement de pivo tement entre les faces o, p de a, quand on la déplace; son évidement q reçoit l'extrémité gauche du couvercle, quand on l'ouvre, de faon à diminuer la longueur de a.
A l'intérieur de l'étui a se trouve une barrette transversale j à laquelle est reliée par une charnière k la boîte l renfermant le mouvement non représenté.
En temps normal, le couvercle c ferme l'ouverture b sous l'action du ressort e et clôt ainsi l'étui a de façon complète mettant la boîte d et le mouvement complètement à l'abri. Si l'on désire voir l'heure, on appuie, de l'un des doigts de la main qui tient a, sur la saillie f, ce qui oblige le couvercle c à s'ouvrir et permet de voir l'heure; sitôt qu'on abandonne la pièce f, le ressorte referme c.
On peut, lorsque le couvercle est ouvert, amener la boîte l à une position inclinée sur l'horizon en la faisant passer dans l'ouver ture b-; le couvercle prend alors appui sur elle, quand on cesse d'agir sur la pièce f, et demeure ainsi ouvert, malgré le ressorte. La montre forme alors pendulette.
Les formes de l'étui, de la boîte peuvent varier de même que celles de la pièce f.
Watch. The object of the invention is a watch. The latter is closed by a cover c mounted at one of its ends on two pivots d of the case a.
The cover tends to be held in the closed position by a small, slightly twisted flat spring e, clamped at one of its ends between one of the pivots d and the housing thereof and acting at its other end on a part of c.
It can nevertheless be opened by acting on a push piece f connected by an axis g to lugs h of this cover, between which it passes; the part f is housed in an opening i of one of the short sides of the case a, completely closes it in the closed position of the cover c and then projects outwardly on a, as seen in FIGS. 1, 4; it has the shape of a cylinder with non-circular bases and has two parts na, <I> n </I> through which it slides while moving forward with a slight pivoting movement between the faces o, p of a, when we move it; its recess q receives the left end of the cover, when it is opened, so as to reduce the length of a.
Inside the case a is a transverse bar j to which is connected by a hinge k the box l enclosing the movement not shown.
Normally, the cover c closes the opening b under the action of the spring e and thus closes the case a completely, putting the box d and the movement completely safe. If you want to see the time, you press, with one of the fingers of the hand holding a, on the projection f, which forces the cover c to open and makes it possible to see the time; as soon as part f is left, it closes c.
It is possible, when the cover is open, to bring the box l to an inclined position on the horizon by making it pass through the opening b-; the cover then rests on it, when we stop acting on the part f, and thus remains open, despite the spring. The watch then forms a pendulum.
The shapes of the case, of the box may vary as well as those of part f.
