Bouton de manchette. La présente invention concerne un bouton de manchette, lequel est caractérisé par deux plaques articulées entre elles au moyen d'une charnière, de manière à former un angle dièdre, par un ressort tendant à écarter ces plaques l'une de l'autre dans le sens où l'angle dièdre augmente et par une tige courbée en forme d'arc de cercle concentrique à l'axe de la charnière, fixée par l'une de ses extrémités sur la face intérieure de l'une des plaques, son extrémité libre se terminant par un crochet destiné à coopérer avec un verrou fixé sur la face intérieure de l'autre plaque de manière, la tige courbe ayant été passée au travers des boutonnières de la manchette,
à verrouiller les faces du dièdre dans une position cor respondant sensiblement à l'angle dièdre formé normalement par les plans des deux extrémités de la manchette maintenues en regard l'une de l'autre par le bouton.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du bouton de manchette selon l'invention. La fig. 1 est une vue latérale de la man chette ; La fig. 2 est une vue par le bout; La fig. 3 est une vue à grande échelle de l'intérieur du bouton; La fig. 4 est une vue en plan correspon dante, le bouton étant, dans ces deux vues, en position ouverte.
En référence aux fig. 1 et 2, la manchette 1 est maintenue par le bouton formé de deux plaques extérieures 2 et 3 articulées entre elles au moyen d'une charnière 4 de ma nière à former un angle dièdre. Une tige 5 courbée en forme d'aro de cercle concentrique à l'axe de la charnière, est fixée par l'une de ces extrémités 6 sur la face intérieure de la plaque 3, tandis que son extrémité libre se terminant par un crochet non visible sur ces deux figures, coopère avec un organe de verrouillage 7 fixé sur la face intérieure de la plaque 2.
La tige 5 ayant été préalablement passée au travers des boutonnières 8 de la manchette, sert à verrouiller les faces du dièdre dans une position, comme le montre la fig. 2, où l'angle formé par les plaques 2 et 3 du bouton correspond sensiblement à l'angle formé par les plans des deux extrémités de la manchette maintenues en regard l'une de l'autre par ledit bouton.
Les plaques 2 et 3 peuvent être de forme quelconque et ornementées à volonté.
En référence aux fig. 3 et 4 du dessin, représentant le bouton à plus grande échelle, on remarque à l'intérieur de celui-ci et sur la charnière, un ressort 9 dont le but est de provoquer l'ouverture du bouton, c'est-à-dire l'écartement des plaques 2 et 3 dans la po sition représentée à la fig. 4. Dans cette po sition, on remarque le crochet 10 placé à l'extrémité de la tige courbe 5, lequel est destiné à pénétrer dans un organe 7 pour y être maintenu par un verrou 11 constitué par un levier se terminant par un petit doigt 12, également visible à la fig. 1. Ce levier est placé sous l'action d'un ressort 13 ten dant à le faire osciller dans le sens de la flèche 14 autour du pivot 15.
Lorsqu'après avoir passé la tige courbe 5 au travers des boutonnières de la manchette, on veut mettre en place le bouton, on ramène les plaques 2 et 3 l'une contre l'autre dans le sens des flèches 16 et 17 contre l'action du ressort 9 et jusqu'à ce que le crochet 10 ayant pénétré dans l'organe 7 et fait osciller le verrou 11, se soit croché derrière ce der nier. A ce moment, le bouton est en place dans la position représentée aux fig. 1 et 2.
Pour enlever le bouton, il suffit d'agir dans le sens de la flèche 18 de la fig. 1 sur ledit doigt 12 du verrou 11, lequel doigt dé passe légèrement la plaque 2 qu'il traverse par une fente 19 pour libérer le crochet 10. A ce moment et sous l'action du ressort 9, le bouton s'ouvre de lui-même et peut être enlevé de la manchette.
Il est à remarquer qu'à l'endroit de la charnière 4, les plaques 2 et 3 sont légèrement coudées en 20 de manière, comme cela ressort de la fig. 2, à laisser la place aux extrémités de la manchette venant se placer en regard l'une de l'autre.
Cufflink. With reference to fig. 1 and 2, the cuff 1 is held by the button formed by two outer plates 2 and 3 articulated together by means of a hinge 4 so as to form a dihedral angle. A rod 5 curved in the shape of a circle concentric with the axis of the hinge, is fixed by one of these ends 6 on the inner face of the plate 3, while its free end terminating in a non-hook. visible in these two figures, cooperates with a locking member 7 fixed to the inner face of the plate 2.
The rod 5 having been previously passed through the buttonholes 8 of the cuff, serves to lock the faces of the dihedral in one position, as shown in FIG. 2, where the angle formed by the plates 2 and 3 of the button corresponds substantially to the angle formed by the planes of the two ends of the cuff held facing each other by said button.
The plates 2 and 3 can be of any shape and adorned at will.
With reference to fig. 3 and 4 of the drawing, representing the button on a larger scale, one notices inside this one and on the hinge, a spring 9 whose purpose is to cause the button to open, that is to say say the distance between plates 2 and 3 in the position shown in fig. 4. In this position, we notice the hook 10 placed at the end of the curved rod 5, which is intended to enter a member 7 to be held there by a latch 11 consisting of a lever ending in a little finger. 12, also visible in fig. 1. This lever is placed under the action of a spring 13 tending to make it oscillate in the direction of arrow 14 around the pivot 15.
When, after passing the curved rod 5 through the buttonholes of the cuff, we want to put the button in place, we bring the plates 2 and 3 against each other in the direction of arrows 16 and 17 against the action of the spring 9 and until the hook 10 having entered the member 7 and oscillating the latch 11, is hooked behind the latter. To remove the button, it suffices to act in the direction of arrow 18 in fig. 1 on said finger 12 of the latch 11, which finger passes slightly the plate 2 which it passes through a slot 19 to release the hook 10. At this time and under the action of the spring 9, the button opens from him -same and can be removed from the cuff.
It should be noted that at the location of the hinge 4, the plates 2 and 3 are slightly bent at 20 so, as shown in FIG. 2, to leave room for the ends of the cuff coming to be placed opposite one another.
