Arrêt de vantail. La présente invention a pour objet un arrêt de vantail comportant au moins deux organes d'arrêt dont l'un est monté sur un support fixé au mur et dont l'autre fait partie du vantail; cet arrêt de vantail est caracté risé en ce que le support fixe du premier est constitué par l'un des gonds supportant le vantail.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention et une variante.
Les fig. 1, 2 et 3 sont respectivement des vues en élévation de côté et partiellement en coupe de face et en plan de cette forme d'exécution ; la fig. 4 montre la variante par une vue en plan analogue à celle de la fig. 3.
Dans le mur 1 est scellé le gond 2 dont le tourillon est désigné par 3. A la base du tourillon 3 est formée une partie prismatique de section polygonale, carrée dans la forme représentée mais qui peut être autre, et de préférence triangulaire. Une plaque 5, pré sentant un trou de même forme, est ajustée sur cette partie prismatique, de sorte qu'elle est empêchée de tourner, et qui se trouve maintenue en place par le poids du vantail 9 lorsque le gond 2 supporte la boucle de la paumelle 8.
La plaque 5 s'étend dans la direction que prend le vantail lorsqu'il est rabattu contre le mur et est recourbée de manière à former un support vertical 5' pour l'articu lation d'un levier à crochet 6 dont l'axe 7 est horizontal et parallèle au mur 1. Le cro chet du levier 6 présente une rampe 6a, par laquelle la paumelle 8 le soulève lorsqu'on rabat le vantail contre le mur. Le levier 6 présente une oreille 66 le rendant plus acces sible à la main, car il doit pouvoir être sou levé lorsqu'on veut refermer le vantail ou lui donner une position pour laquelle il n'est pas entièrement rabattu.
La fig. 4 montre une variante dans la quelle le crochet peut prendre diverses posi tions relativement au levier 6. Le crochet proprement dit 6'a, fait partie d'une plaque qu'un boulon<B>Il</B> permet de fixer au levier. Pour cela, la plaque ou le levier présente une fente que traverse le boulon. La partie 6'a est de préférence aussi éloignée du gond que possible.
Ce montage en deux pièces du levier à crochet présente l'avantage qu'il peut s'adapter à des paumelles de formes diverses, c'est-à-dire aussi bien à la paumelle d'un vantail à battue tel que représenté par les fig. 1 à 3 qu'à celle d'un vantail plein qui est courbée de manière à laisser le vantail plus éloigné du mur que l'axe de rotation, comme le montre la fig. 4.
L'avantage commun aux deux formes décrites réside dans le fait que le dispositif ne nécessite la fixation d'aucun organe sup plémentaire au vantail ni au mur lui-même.
Le crochet 6 comporte un doigt, non re présenté, qui bute soit sur le gond, soit contre la partie 5' pour que ce crochet soit main tenu en position horizontale lorsque le van tail est fermé, afin qu'il s'accroche automa tiquement lorsqu'on rabat le vantail contre le mur.
Leaf stop. In the wall 1 is sealed the hinge 2 whose pin is designated by 3. At the base of the pin 3 is formed a prismatic part of polygonal section, square in the shape shown but which may be other, and preferably triangular. A plate 5, having a hole of the same shape, is fitted to this prismatic part, so that it is prevented from rotating, and which is held in place by the weight of the leaf 9 when the hinge 2 supports the loop of the hinge 8.
The plate 5 extends in the direction that the leaf takes when it is folded against the wall and is curved so as to form a vertical support 5 'for the articulation of a hook lever 6 whose axis 7 is horizontal and parallel to the wall 1. The hook of the lever 6 has a ramp 6a, by which the hinge 8 lifts it when the leaf is folded against the wall. The lever 6 has a lug 66 making it more accessible to the hand, because it must be able to be lifted when one wants to close the leaf or give it a position for which it is not fully folded.
Fig. 4 shows a variant in which the hook can take various positions relative to the lever 6. The hook itself 6'a forms part of a plate that a bolt <B> It </B> allows to fix to the lever . For this, the plate or the lever has a slot through which the bolt passes. Part 6'a is preferably as far from the hinge as possible.
This two-piece assembly of the hook lever has the advantage that it can be adapted to hinges of various shapes, that is to say also to the hinge of a battue leaf as represented by the fig. 1 to 3 than that of a solid leaf which is curved so as to leave the leaf further from the wall than the axis of rotation, as shown in fig. 4.
The advantage common to the two forms described lies in the fact that the device does not require the attachment of any additional member to the leaf or to the wall itself.
