Abstract

The lock for cash boxes and similar uses, comprising a one-piece plate (1) supporting a pivoting bolt formed by a ratchet (15) retained by a pivoting pawl (8) mounted on the plate which, by means of a cut-off edge (24, 25), supports the loop of a kickover spring (22), one end (22a) of which butts against the plate and the free branch (22b) of which intercepts a notch (2) of this plate, serving for guiding a keeper (3) cooperating with the bolt (20) of the ratchet (15), according to Claim 1 of the main patent, is characterised by a hook (28) mounted on the axis (9) of the pivoting pawl, the said hook forming an operating arm (29) and being retained, by means of a spring (30) in alignment with the notch (2), in which the keeper (3) is seated and locked, in such a way that the said keeper is retained by the said hook after the release of the said keeper (3) by the bolt (20).
