Description

Fig. 7 is a cross section along
VII-VII of fig. 8.

Fig. 8 is an axial section of the second embodiment.

Fig. 9 is an end view from bottom to top.

Fig. 10 is an axial section of a variant of FIG. 8.

Fig. 11 is a perspective of one of the preceding embodiments provided with an additional element.

Figs. 12 and 13 are perspectives showing the use of the variant of FIG. 4.

The apparatus of FIGS. 1 to 3 comprises a cylindrical container 1 subdivided into two cylindrical compartments 3 and 4 by means of a sleeve-shaped element 2 arranged coaxially inside the container 1. At the lower end of the two compartments 3 and 4 are arranged tubes ejection 5 and 6 on which can be folded a cover 7 comprising two housings 8 and 9 for each of the tubes and at the bottom of which are arranged two sealing parts 10 and 11. The cover 7 is connected to the container 1 by a band made of flexible material 12 and carries a circular internal rib 13 which can be force-engaged in a circular groove 14 made at the base of said pipes 5 and 6, when the cover is placed on the end of these pipes.

The compartments 3 and 4 of the container 1 can contain liquid, viscous or pasty materials which will be ejected by said pipes 5 and 6 by means of an expulsion device consisting of two pistons 15 and 16 integral with one another and each penetrating into one of the two compartments 3 and 4 parallel to their axis so as to cause them to each debit quantities of materials proportional to their respective capacity. The piston 16 is provided with a thread 17 which engages in a threaded part 18 disposed at the end of the container 4 opposite to that which is provided with the pipe 6, and carries at its end a sealing part 19 in disc shape, with a diameter equal to the internal diameter of the compartment 4.

The piston 15, which takes the shape of a cylinder whose outer diameter corresponds to that of the inner diameter of the container 1, carries, at its end, a sealing ring 20 with a flat surface such that it is engaged. tightly between the inner and outer cylindrical walls of compartment 3 of container 1. By rotating the pistons around their axis, with container 1 remaining in a fixed position, piston 16 gradually engages in threaded part 18 of container 4 thanks to its threaded part 17, by bringing with it the piston 15 which is integral with it, inside the compartment 3, which causes a simultaneous ejection of the materials contained in these two compartments by the pipes 5 and 6 in a manner proportional to their respective capacity.

The thread 17 can be made on the piston 15, the threaded part 18 then being mounted on one of the walls of the compartment 3, as in the variants of FIGS. 4 and 5. In the variant of FIG. 6, an internal thread 22 formed on the inner face of a sleeve-shaped element 21 integral with the two pistons and coaxially enveloping the container 1, engages on a thread 23 formed on the outer cylindrical wall of the container 1. In the variant of fig. 5, the sealing pieces 19 and 20 are replaced by three concentric annular sealing elements 24-25 and 26, arranged in grooves made in blocks 27 and 28 arranged at the base of the pistons in a manner similar to the parts seal 19 and 20 shown in FIG. 1.

In the variant of FIG. 4, the sealing parts are formed by spherical and annular elements independent of the pistons 15 and 16, which prevents an entry of air through the expulsion pipes in the event that the pistons are operated in an upward direction.

In the latter case, the lower end of the compartments 3 and 4 will have a conformation such that at the end of their travel, said spherical and annular elements are housed there exactly.

In the second embodiment shown in FIGS. 7 to 9, the pistons 15 and 16 can slide freely in the compartments 3 and 4 of the container 1 and are provided, at their base, with sealing rings 24, 25 and 26 similar to those shown in FIG 5. In the variant of fig. 10, the edges of the cylindrical walls 29 and 30 of the compartments 3 and 4 are provided with annular seals 31, 32 and 33 arranged in grooves made in their upper part, the pistons 15 and 16 sliding between them.

In certain embodiments, openings 34 are also made between the pistons 15 and 16 (and possibly in the sleeve 21) so as to allow the evacuation of the air which may be trapped between these elements. Other devices for closing the tubes 5 and 6 are also shown in FIGS. 8 and 10. In FIG. 8, these are independent caps 35 threaded at their base 36, this thread engaging on a thread 37 made at the base of the tubes 5 and 6. A sealing part 38 lines the bottom of this cap.

In fig. 10 is shown a closure device comprising a rod 39 mounted at one of its ends on a pivot 40 engaging in two orifices 41 and 42 forming a bearing made at the base of the tubes 5 and 6 and carrying, at its other end , a leaf spring 43 intended to hold in place against the end of the tubes 5 and 6 a blade 44 provided with a sealing element 45, these two parts also being mounted on the rod 39.

In fig. 4 the pipes 5 and 6 are covered with a cap similar to that of FIG. 1 but pierced with an orifice 50 through which passes an extension 51 integral with the container 1, longer than the pipes 5 and 6 and capable of serving as a support stand for the container during the ejection of the materials contained therein and d agitator for their subsequent mixing (fig. 12 and 13). One or the other of the devices of FIGS. 1, 8 and 10 may be supplemented by a capsule 46 with a semi-spherical bottom secured to a base 47 and provided with two tubular housings 48 and 49 arranged on its edges and in each of which can be inserted one of the tubes 5 and 6 of the container, its point oriented towards the bottom of the capsule so that a more intimate mixture of the materials expelled can be carried out there.

Other embodiments could be provided comprising more than two coaxial compartments.
